:00:49. > :00:53.Life from London, this is Strictly, It Takes Two. Please welcome your

:00:54. > :00:58.host, Zoe Ball. Much like a car that's

:00:59. > :01:03.just passed it's MOT, we're in working order

:01:04. > :01:07.and feeling revved up to go! So let's drive by the green room

:01:08. > :01:12.and see who's joining us tonight They're the 'wheel deal' -

:01:13. > :01:21.it's Ore and Joanne! Or is it the milk Tray man? Loving

:01:22. > :01:26.the rocking turtlenecks. And joining them to launch

:01:27. > :01:28.2016's Pro Challenge - a man who always gets our engines

:01:29. > :01:33.going - Aljaz is here! Looks like he's taking this

:01:34. > :01:36.a bit too seriously! But first, the Strictly costume

:01:37. > :01:42.department went into overdrive last weekend - 121 sensational

:01:43. > :01:44.outfits were created Let's find out what's

:01:45. > :02:16.in store for this week - In the jumpsuit, we love it. 121

:02:17. > :02:20.costumes, did it get a bit hairy getting them in and out of the

:02:21. > :02:26.costumes is yellow it was a bit. All the departments came together and it

:02:27. > :02:34.was perfect. Brilliant. A bit stressful going into the second

:02:35. > :02:37.dance, putting everything on. Everyone's hairstyle is changing,

:02:38. > :02:43.under skirts, the lots. Everybody fighting for attention. Possibly one

:02:44. > :02:50.of the best Blackpool shows we have seen. We should talk about Louise's

:02:51. > :02:59.costume, epic proportions. Here she is. Did you fear there might be a

:03:00. > :03:03.Madonna kind of moment with these stairs? Slightly worried. We had a

:03:04. > :03:07.centre front, centre back release, and the extra dancers were primed to

:03:08. > :03:12.make sure they gave it a good go, as soon as it released. Talk us through

:03:13. > :03:15.the detail in this dress. I thought the whole number from the backing

:03:16. > :03:19.dancers to Kevin and Louise, I thought the whole thing was great,

:03:20. > :03:24.the tone and colours of everything. Skirt worked really well. Louise

:03:25. > :03:28.probably hated us for flashing too much of her legs. Beautiful legs,

:03:29. > :03:38.she used them perfectly and got such a great score. Fabulous. Kevin loves

:03:39. > :03:44.a paso. I forgot to mention yesterday, his guy-liner was

:03:45. > :03:50.extreme. What can you tell us about Katia's outfit? My brief this week

:03:51. > :03:57.was a catwalk kind of feel. I love it. Lord help us. Quite simple in

:03:58. > :04:01.its design. The fabric is leading the way. Bright turquoise lining

:04:02. > :04:05.through the whole dress. In the tango when she's moving, there's a

:04:06. > :04:08.nice split on the left, we may reduce it but we'll see lots of

:04:09. > :04:14.turquoise as a block colour and the print runs through the dress. All

:04:15. > :04:20.the embellishment through the waste. There's a photograph of the material

:04:21. > :04:22.we can see here. Quite busy, but I think we'll still end up with

:04:23. > :04:30.sparkle to the detail. There's always a bit of sparkle. Claudia and

:04:31. > :04:37.AJ doing and Argentine tango, this looks great. It's a traditional

:04:38. > :04:41.colour and shape. I watched their directors take today. We've got a

:04:42. > :04:49.high split at the back. As with Oti, we put more slips in when we saw

:04:50. > :04:56.them in the dressing room. We may put slips up here. The front is

:04:57. > :05:00.solid red with mesh on the site. A purple panel down the back so when

:05:01. > :05:09.they are moving and turning we'll get lots of contrast. I think it's

:05:10. > :05:14.going to be a good one. Onto Oti's sambar outfit. We were laughing, we

:05:15. > :05:18.couldn't get it on the mannequin, she is so tiny, the mannequin must

:05:19. > :05:23.lose some weight. Talk us through this detail, it is incredible. I

:05:24. > :05:27.think this is one of my favourites. This was really born from Oti, she

:05:28. > :05:32.wanted an Amazonian tribal things number this week. We looked at lots

:05:33. > :05:35.of Prince. This is all done free hand so we had to take elements we

:05:36. > :05:39.thought we could transfer and make sure it was symmetrical. It has all

:05:40. > :05:45.been drawn on the base first. That's incredible. The stones do have shine

:05:46. > :05:48.but they are a flat colour, not too much reflection. Coral, turquoise,

:05:49. > :05:56.white Opel making an appearance again. Brown flare, lots of coloured

:05:57. > :06:03.pearls in between. And that Ash, he must spend hours on it. He's just

:06:04. > :06:07.absolutely fabulous. Ash, we love you, you should be knighted.

:06:08. > :06:10.Something exciting for you this week. The mystery mannequin. This

:06:11. > :06:13.one is covered up. This one is covered up because we're

:06:14. > :06:16.going to be unveiling it for the first time to dancer

:06:17. > :06:29.who'll be wearing it. Jo, you are doing the paso doble

:06:30. > :06:36.this weekend with Ore. Is that what you are doing? Somebody else can

:06:37. > :06:40.fill in. You had a conversation, what did you say you wanted? This is

:06:41. > :06:45.why she is great because she knows us all so well. And she knows that

:06:46. > :06:52.I'm the one pro who asks for the dresses to be longer rather than

:06:53. > :06:57.shorter, even my rumba dress. It was like a ballroom skirt on top. So you

:06:58. > :07:12.wanted long, it's paso doble, that's all we know. Ready for this? Drum

:07:13. > :07:16.roll, please. Oh my gosh, I hate it! That must happen, though, does it?

:07:17. > :07:22.It does, people aren't going to like everything. Is that shorts

:07:23. > :07:26.underneath? It is shorts. As you can see its work in progress. We'll see

:07:27. > :07:31.whether we put another layer in the lining. The skirt length, even

:07:32. > :07:39.though Jo likes them long, we may angle it from here down. Keep it

:07:40. > :07:42.closed. Not too much flashing. In the choreography they have a few

:07:43. > :07:49.moments on a table, in a raised position. Sounds exciting. I thought

:07:50. > :07:55.Jo would be happy if we had a placing underneath. Have you ever

:07:56. > :08:01.worn a placement for a paso doble before? Not yet. Are you loving it?

:08:02. > :08:05.Yes, and its black-and-white, and last time we wore black and white

:08:06. > :08:10.was the drive. Do you like the turtleneck and the stones? I do. How

:08:11. > :08:14.much will it change before Saturday? A bit, the waistband may change and

:08:15. > :08:17.we'll have more embellishment. The lines will be much sharper and

:08:18. > :08:23.hopefully we'll get a white edging on the hem. We will see. I think we

:08:24. > :08:31.should do mystery mannequin more often, I love it. I think this is

:08:32. > :08:33.going to be my Christmas tablecloth. Well we know our couples are going

:08:34. > :08:36.to look the part on Saturday night - but are their dance moves

:08:37. > :08:38.looking as fancy? Let's see how Danny and Oti and Ed

:08:39. > :08:53.and Katya have been getting along The tango is not only sharp, but

:08:54. > :09:01.also quite low, driving and stamping along and I'm still in the foothills

:09:02. > :09:06.of learning the tango. In tango we say it's like a Ferrari, so it's low

:09:07. > :09:13.but very powerful. He's quite a tall man and big frame. So to be able to

:09:14. > :09:19.drive that across the floor will be important. If I can find my inner

:09:20. > :09:29.tango style I'll be OK on the night. OK. The sambar is a very rhythmical

:09:30. > :09:35.dance. It's fun and it's all so very, very technical. I need to

:09:36. > :09:44.throw all my energy at it and really enjoy it, because when I do it is so

:09:45. > :09:47.much fun. Come on, don't stop. This is one of Oti's favourite styles

:09:48. > :09:50.says she is really throwing everything at this and she wants to

:09:51. > :09:54.have a great routine, which I hope I can help her with somehow. Why are

:09:55. > :09:58.you so stiff? Why are you fighting me?

:09:59. > :10:01.Those gorgeous four on the show tomorrow.

:10:02. > :10:03.Now, our Strictly pros thrive on competition.

:10:04. > :10:05.In previous years we've tested them on Botafogos, Kick ball changes,

:10:06. > :10:11.But this year will see them face their greatest challenge yet.

:10:12. > :10:25.It's time to launch the Strictly Pro Challenge 2016!

:10:26. > :10:32.The Strictly pro challenge is back and bigger than ever. This year our

:10:33. > :10:40.pros are going to attempt to set a Guinness world record for the most

:10:41. > :10:43.jive kicks and flicks in 30 seconds. Judging alongside me, top

:10:44. > :10:49.choreographer, Richard Marcel, and Guinness world records adjudicator

:10:50. > :10:51.Emma Davies. The kick and flick is a quintessential jive step that

:10:52. > :10:57.requires a lot of energy and conviction. We'll be looking for

:10:58. > :10:59.strong, pointed kicks with a fast retraction and then the feet

:11:00. > :11:04.returning to the floor after the flick. If they don't bring the foot

:11:05. > :11:09.back to the resting position then the step will be disqualified. This

:11:10. > :11:13.will be a challenge of energy and endurance. There can only be one

:11:14. > :11:18.champion so they need to make every step count. Welcome to the Strictly

:11:19. > :11:22.pro challenge 2016. Thank you, Ian. Time to welcome 2016's first

:11:23. > :11:24.Pro Challenge contender. He's 5'11 tall, has size 9.5 shoes

:11:25. > :11:27.and likes to eat squid. Slovenia's finest export,

:11:28. > :11:49.Aljaz Skorjanec! What an entrance, fine sir. Welcome,

:11:50. > :11:50.my dialling. You're going to be the first, how exciting.

:11:51. > :11:55.So Aljaz, you are the reigning Strictly pro champion

:11:56. > :11:59.with Karen Clifton, together you set the world record

:12:00. > :12:01.for most New Yorkers in 30 seconds, 39, back

:12:02. > :12:08.No Karen to help you this time, can you be victorious again?

:12:09. > :12:18.No. OK. Was it just a lucky shot last time? I think it was all down

:12:19. > :12:24.to Karen, I was just in the shot doing it with her. But yeah, I was

:12:25. > :12:28.never the fastest in jive so I always knew it was going to be a

:12:29. > :12:32.tough one, but I did practice loads. I was going to say, do you prepare

:12:33. > :12:38.at home? Pretty much since August, seven hours a day. Just one hour of

:12:39. > :12:41.training with Daisy and the rest is this. Takes this very seriously.

:12:42. > :12:45.Your fiance, Latin sensation Janette Manrara, came last

:12:46. > :12:50.in the previous pro challenge, she fell over.

:12:51. > :12:55.Obviously she is livid, she has never lived it down. Is it

:12:56. > :13:01.competitive between the two of you, bit of an atmosphere? Yes, a bit

:13:02. > :13:07.stressful at home since that pro challenge. No, you know what, mainly

:13:08. > :13:11.it's mostly fun. But obviously all of us want to do well. Quite a few

:13:12. > :13:14.couples can be competitive, it's brilliant. Are you nervous being

:13:15. > :13:26.first? Yes, I'm literally sweating. I never consider myself being good

:13:27. > :13:29.in kicks and flicks so I think the biggest rival in this challenge is

:13:30. > :13:37.going to be myself. I just hope I don't cramp up. That would be bad.

:13:38. > :13:41.Hello, Aljaz. Hello. Welcome to the pro challenge. In the last pro

:13:42. > :13:44.challenge you set the world record with Karen Clifton. Have you got a

:13:45. > :13:49.plan for this, have you practised? I've practised loads, pretty much

:13:50. > :13:55.since I left Slovenia. Good luck, we hope you do well. Please take your

:13:56. > :13:57.place. Aljaz, good luck. I'm going to count you down for the record.

:13:58. > :14:33.Three, two, one, though. Five, Faulkner three, two, one...

:14:34. > :14:37.Stop. How does it feel? Horrible! What do you think, Richard? I

:14:38. > :14:42.thought he did really well. Really stylish, had good posture, looked

:14:43. > :14:49.great. I think you're in for a good chance. Thank you. Even if I don't

:14:50. > :14:54.get it, that was stylish! I have to say, I find this really difficult.

:14:55. > :15:00.It's very hard on your legs. I could not turn you how it went, because it

:15:01. > :15:04.was kind of like an out of legs experience. I have had a few of

:15:05. > :15:12.those as well, actually! How do you think you did? I don't know. I got

:15:13. > :15:18.halfway through, and... You only have the left leg and the right leg.

:15:19. > :15:24.Generally, yes! But I have never had simultaneous cramp in both of them

:15:25. > :15:30.at the same time! I know! But it was worth it. You fought on, even so!

:15:31. > :15:36.You are used to doing jives, kicks and flicks, but never that many at

:15:37. > :15:39.the same time? , never. After each of the professionals have made there

:15:40. > :15:45.tempt, the footage was watched back by the adjudicators in slow motion

:15:46. > :15:49.to make sure that every single one was accurate. Did you see any

:15:50. > :15:57.mistakes, looking back? No, none whatsoever. Perfection. Around 300!

:15:58. > :16:03.Interesting you should say that, because I can reveal that you had

:16:04. > :16:06.two steps disqualified. I know! The tension is unbearable, ladies and

:16:07. > :16:10.gentlemen! You money for the moment of truth? In 30 seconds, you

:16:11. > :16:34.completed... 52! Which puts you at the top of the

:16:35. > :16:39.leaderboard! Don't get carried away, because you're the first one. You

:16:40. > :16:43.are obviously also the bottom of the leaderboard. And in the middle,

:16:44. > :16:49.which is a dangerous place to be! We have 12 other pros - who do you

:16:50. > :16:54.think is your biggest competition? I think as I said in the video, it's

:16:55. > :16:57.just myself. We have some new pros, they're all incredible, young and

:16:58. > :17:03.fast. It's going to be interesting to see, especially when we do it

:17:04. > :17:09.just as individuals. We will have to wait and see. Thank you for being

:17:10. > :17:16.first, Aljaz! Isn't he gorgeous, everyone?

:17:17. > :17:19.Time now to go behind the scenes for an exclusive look at this

:17:20. > :17:36.This weekend, we are taking the ball into the athletics field. Let's go!

:17:37. > :17:42.The concept of this dance is charleston, based on an or fashion

:17:43. > :17:46.sports day. Egg and spoon races, sack races, things like that. It's

:17:47. > :17:56.going to be fun and energetic, with a lot of things going on. We are all

:17:57. > :17:58.doing lots of different activities, including the piggyback race, and

:17:59. > :18:08.even the tug-of-war. And I beat all the boys! As soon as we heard there

:18:09. > :18:12.was going to be a Strictly Sports Day, we realised it would be silly

:18:13. > :18:17.and funny. Doing it with the charleston, you get a lot of

:18:18. > :18:24.character in. It's great fun. I'm definitely going to win the Strictly

:18:25. > :18:30.Sports Day. Some of it not what you would expect at a regular sports day

:18:31. > :18:35.event. This is Strictly, of course! Who would have a real life sack race

:18:36. > :18:43.one I think Neil does not have a chance. The most challenging part of

:18:44. > :18:48.this routine is the timing trainer things happen very quickly trainer

:18:49. > :18:52.one thing passes into the next thing. Hopefully we will connect

:18:53. > :19:03.everything together and it should be a fun routine. Right, it's time for

:19:04. > :19:13.you to hop, skip and jump out of here. Me? No, them! Seeing Neil to a

:19:14. > :19:15.caterpillar in a sack, that is a first.

:19:16. > :19:17.On first impressions, our Strictly pros may all seem

:19:18. > :19:22.But get them in our Booth of Truth, and a whole other side is revealed!

:19:23. > :19:50.Which pro is most addicted to their phone? Without a doubt, Pasha. It's

:19:51. > :19:56.100 cents Pasha. I would have to say it's Pasha. Here we go. He just

:19:57. > :20:01.ignores you when you're talking in the middle of a sentence. He's

:20:02. > :20:08.always playing games. Pasha loves the phone. Which pro is the

:20:09. > :20:12.grumpiest in the morning? I love this lady but it would have to be

:20:13. > :20:16.Karen. I think she would admit it, she's just not a morning person.

:20:17. > :20:23.Karen, she will kill me for saying that. I think it would be Karen,

:20:24. > :20:29.because sometimes, she can be a bit grumpy. If I haven't eaten, don't

:20:30. > :20:40.talk to me. But that only happens a few times. The most grumpy pro in

:20:41. > :20:43.the morning, who is that? It's definitely Brendan Cole. He has

:20:44. > :20:46.something to say about everything. Me!

:20:47. > :20:48.Now, our final guests' Viennese Waltz blew the socks off

:20:49. > :20:51.the judges last weekend, with Darcey, Len and Bruno

:20:52. > :20:54.If only Craig would have scored higher!

:20:55. > :21:16.# That's life! Cool, sophisticated, slick.

:21:17. > :21:23.Brilliant! You just fall into the style so easily. I loved it. I

:21:24. > :21:33.thought it was a fantastic performance.

:21:34. > :21:44.Ore and Joanne! Hello! The Prince and the showgirl! And you two had so

:21:45. > :21:51.much fun in Blackpool. Tell me more about this night? It was

:21:52. > :21:55.sensational, I was not really sure what to expect because the pros had

:21:56. > :21:59.talked about it all series long. But you go in there, it's overwhelming -

:22:00. > :22:03.the history of the place, the roar of the crowds when we got

:22:04. > :22:09.introduced, it was like going into a Roman Colosseum. Does it go to your

:22:10. > :22:19.head, all of the adoration? You've just have two it. And welcome back

:22:20. > :22:25.to Ten Club! You are back full stop so close to getting A40. What did

:22:26. > :22:31.you make of Craig giving you an eight? Let's concentrate on the

:22:32. > :22:34.tens! We did not expect that at all. We were just really happy to have

:22:35. > :22:39.got through the routine cleaning and to be so happy about it, because

:22:40. > :22:47.everything was just so incredible about it. So, to add tens, and did I

:22:48. > :22:53.mention it was my birthday last week as well...? Happy birthday, by the

:22:54. > :22:57.way! Thank you very much no more surprises, I can't take it! Jo,

:22:58. > :23:03.Craig said he was a bit bothered by the top line and it was a little bit

:23:04. > :23:08.Skippy around the table. I say Jo, I should say Marilyn, actually. What

:23:09. > :23:15.did you think about that? Hold-wise, I've got to disagree. We worked so

:23:16. > :23:19.hard on it, and looking back at the video, yes, the elbows have to be in

:23:20. > :23:24.line and they were in line. I thought the hold was really, really

:23:25. > :23:30.good. Good boy! The skipping... Just around the table at the end, because

:23:31. > :23:35.the ballroom is so big and we had to get right round to the other side,

:23:36. > :23:39.we really had to move. But that's all right. Also, you skipped with

:23:40. > :23:45.joy! And anyway, who cares what the judges think? Really, it's all about

:23:46. > :23:49.your mum, Ore. Your mum Fola, what was her feedback after this one? Can

:23:50. > :23:58.I be honest only I have not spoken to my mum all week! That's

:23:59. > :24:04.outrageous! Terrible! Fola, call in, we will put you in touch! Hi, mum, I

:24:05. > :24:07.just wanted to say, Blackpool was really brilliant, I will call you

:24:08. > :24:12.after the show! You're in so much trouble! We were trying to count but

:24:13. > :24:16.we got really dizzy, you did so many. It was absolutely beautiful,

:24:17. > :24:23.we had never seen anything like it before. How did you carry on,

:24:24. > :24:28.though, after that? To be honest it was quite difficult, because at the

:24:29. > :24:34.point that we stopped, you can see four images, all slowly merging

:24:35. > :24:44.together! And you're like, OK, now I can see! But it was amazing. And

:24:45. > :24:49.Clifton's choreography, she has been in this Blackpool situation before,

:24:50. > :24:59.she knew that if we carry on... It gets bigger and bigger. I was like,

:25:00. > :25:02.use that! I must say, Karen Hardy said you took a risk with those

:25:03. > :25:06.moves, but it really did pay off. You've got to do things like that I

:25:07. > :25:11.surmised at this point in the competition, Jo? Yes, as I said I

:25:12. > :25:15.knew it was something that worked, I wanted to put it in. It is really

:25:16. > :25:21.hard, I remember doing it in competitions, and my neck could be

:25:22. > :25:26.like, my dance partner... I was like, he's strong, he can do it.

:25:27. > :25:29.Last week, I thought, no chance, this is the most ridiculous

:25:30. > :25:33.choreography I have ever seen. But it all came together. You thought

:25:34. > :25:40.that was ridiculous - this weekend, the paso doble. Jo, have we got any

:25:41. > :25:45.more firsts, the most legs crawl more than we have ever seen, or

:25:46. > :25:53.anything? We have got a table. Love tables, you two, don't you? This one

:25:54. > :25:59.is rectangular. All the shapes! Next week, Triangle table! With got bits

:26:00. > :26:09.underneath the table. I say, that sounds very racy! You are dancing to

:26:10. > :26:12.Everybody Wants To Rule The World. Everybody wants to rule the

:26:13. > :26:18.leaderboard at the moment, how do you get to the top this week? Our

:26:19. > :26:21.paso will be slightly different, in the sense that it is not

:26:22. > :26:27.traditional, the music starts off really, really slow. So we're just

:26:28. > :26:33.going to be really intense. I like it! I've been sweating this week,

:26:34. > :26:39.rarely moving, standing and sweating. It that intense. And Len

:26:40. > :26:44.said, doing nothing is very difficult. There are some moments,

:26:45. > :26:49.actually, we spoke about that waltz, some moments where you have just got

:26:50. > :26:55.to stick your tongue back in, mate! I like you talking yourself through

:26:56. > :26:58.it! Kevin, your Big Brother, did the paso last week, and it's following

:26:59. > :27:05.on from that, which will be tough. Can you match it? I should hope so!

:27:06. > :27:13.Don't feel the pressure or anything! It wasn't bad, was it? Why did they

:27:14. > :27:17.do that to you? Strictly statistic time, because it's been a pretty

:27:18. > :27:20.close series for the Clifton siblings. Let's compare your scores

:27:21. > :27:34.so far. I feel like such a stirrer! We've got this nifty little chart.

:27:35. > :27:40.You start at the beginning. You're in blue, Ore. And it all starts to

:27:41. > :27:45.turn around in week four. And then as we move through the weeks, week

:27:46. > :27:52.seven was Louise's Argentine tango. And then we get to last week, and

:27:53. > :28:03.you are neck and neck. And then when we add them all that we can see that

:28:04. > :28:05.you have... Only six points in it. And this week, the Cha-Cha-Cha

:28:06. > :28:10.Challenge is an extra six points for someone. You have not done the

:28:11. > :28:16.cha-cha-cha since week two. AJ was laying down the gauntlet saying that

:28:17. > :28:20.they're can take everybody down. Any words for your opponents? I saw that

:28:21. > :28:28.interview with AJ. AJ, listen up, OK? Beware, your space, a little

:28:29. > :28:31.politeness goes a long way. But if you come in and have a cup of tea,

:28:32. > :28:35.you're most welcome! Fighting talk for you? Push good luck this

:28:36. > :28:39.weekend, you're both marvellous! That's all we've got

:28:40. > :28:42.time for tonight. Join me tomorrow at six

:28:43. > :28:46.for an epic It Takes Two! I'll be chatting to Ed and Katya,

:28:47. > :28:49.Danny and Oti and On the Friday panel

:28:50. > :28:51.will be Katy Brand, All that, plus - Gethin will be

:28:52. > :29:14.reporting from Elstree and Who knows where

:29:15. > :29:16.it's going to take me?
