:00:57. > :00:59.Zoe Ball! It's Tunes-day - which means I'll be

:01:00. > :01:03.getting my Jukebox out to reveal the songs our couples will be

:01:04. > :01:06.dancing to in the Semi-Finals. But that's not the only

:01:07. > :01:08.thing to be thankful for, take a look at who I've

:01:09. > :01:11.got in my Green Room. Ready to give the weekend's

:01:12. > :01:14.choreography a good looking over - Survivors of the Dance-Off and proud

:01:15. > :01:26.Semi-Finalists - Ore and Joanne! And we have Strictly's Creative

:01:27. > :01:28.Director of Choreography - There's so much to get

:01:29. > :01:37.through tonight but before we meet that lot, let's dive head first

:01:38. > :01:54.into the next thrilling instalment The Strictly paroled challenge is

:01:55. > :02:01.back and bigger than ever. This year our pros are going to attempt to set

:02:02. > :02:05.a Guinness world record for the most Kylie in 60 seconds -- Strictly Pro

:02:06. > :02:11.Challenge. We will be looking for strong point it kicks. If they do

:02:12. > :02:16.not bring the first back down, the step will be disqualified. There can

:02:17. > :02:22.only be one champion, so they need to make every step count. This is

:02:23. > :02:24.the Strictly Pro Challenge, 2016. Our next contender worked in a bank

:02:25. > :02:28.for seven years before she gave up a life of finance to become

:02:29. > :02:30.a full-blown Latin sensation. It's the one and only

:02:31. > :02:48.Janette Manrara! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. Hello,

:02:49. > :02:53.gorgeous. You're Tony and Maria in West side story at the weekend was

:02:54. > :03:00.amazing. Beautiful. I wanted to watch the whole thing from beginning

:03:01. > :03:07.to end. How would you rate your 32-macro on a normal day? I think

:03:08. > :03:15.they are pretty good. On that day, I was so nervous and I think my feet

:03:16. > :03:20.even got stuck a few times -- Jive Kicks and Flicks. What kind of

:03:21. > :03:27.intense training have you put yourself through? Making sure I can

:03:28. > :03:34.walk and stay standing. Let's see how you looked in action. Good luck,

:03:35. > :03:37.my darling. I think I'm going to have pretty good Jive Kicks and

:03:38. > :03:42.Flicks. I am very small, that is good for speed and I am hoping to

:03:43. > :03:52.redeem myself this time and it! Hello, Janette. How are you feeling?

:03:53. > :03:58.And a bit nervous. Is there any competition between you and the

:03:59. > :04:02.previous champion? Alijaz won it last time with Karen and he has it

:04:03. > :04:09.in the house, so I am hoping to move it over and put a new one then. We

:04:10. > :04:15.hope you will as well. Good luck. Please take your position on the

:04:16. > :04:16.dance floor. Let's go! Good luck, Janette. I'll count you in for the

:04:17. > :04:55.record. Go! Five, four, three, two, one. Stop.

:04:56. > :05:03.Well done! Very good. Was it? It looked very good. How do you feel? A

:05:04. > :05:07.little bit tired. I'm a professional dancer, I am exhausted! You're

:05:08. > :05:12.really light on your feet, actually and I think you would give

:05:13. > :05:17.Riverdance a run for their money. I have done ever think I can to get

:05:18. > :05:23.the title from Alijaz and put in a new one, so fingers crossed.

:05:24. > :05:31.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. That was so fast. Would you be up for a part in

:05:32. > :05:37.Riverdance? Why not? Lets see the Leader Board as it currently stands,

:05:38. > :05:46.in first place is Oksana with a score of 54. Alijaz is joint second,

:05:47. > :05:51.your husband to be. What would it mean to beat him? I'm not going to

:05:52. > :05:53.like, everything! That is it. Underlined.

:05:54. > :05:56.Well I am legally required to tell you that after each

:05:57. > :05:58.of the professionals had made their attempt, the footage

:05:59. > :06:01.was watched back by adjudicators in slow motion to verify every

:06:02. > :06:02.single step to make sure they were accurate.

:06:03. > :06:06.Well the wait is finally over - Janette, I can reveal that in 30

:06:07. > :06:39.58! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. Yes, baby.

:06:40. > :06:45.But... They didn't all count. You actually had four steps

:06:46. > :06:53.disqualified, which still puts you... You are up there with Oksana

:06:54. > :06:55.and you have beaten Alijaz. Joint top of the Leader Board. Janette

:06:56. > :07:00.Manrara! Nice work. I've just had word that the Strictly

:07:01. > :07:02.Musical reviews we've It's time to welcome Choreography's

:07:03. > :07:32.fiercest critic, Karen Hardy. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. Karen Hardy.

:07:33. > :07:38.She can do unspeakable things with her legs. So much to discuss. We

:07:39. > :07:43.will start with Claudia and AJ and they finally got their first ten of

:07:44. > :07:49.the series. I was so chuffed, would it have been a ten from you? You're

:07:50. > :07:54.putting me on the spot. Who knows. Most importantly, I loved, we are

:07:55. > :07:58.looking for improvement and this close to the final, we have ask for

:07:59. > :08:02.her body to be more fluid and free and we asked for them to be more

:08:03. > :08:08.expressive and we got that. Looking at it here, as they go into the solo

:08:09. > :08:11.actions of the salsa, the freedom through the body and the

:08:12. > :08:17.synchronicity between them, I love those moves, I love those moves. I

:08:18. > :08:23.just felt all round that there was a real energy and the great thing,

:08:24. > :08:27.this is our Olympians and she will know how to control fear and stress

:08:28. > :08:31.and those sorts of things as you near that final. I'm waiting to see

:08:32. > :08:37.her lifted again one more time next week. Good girl and well done AJ.

:08:38. > :08:48.You have something to show us. I do. I'm so excited. I know. Zoe, you

:08:49. > :08:52.need to join me. Come and assume this position. This is a step that

:08:53. > :08:55.we see regularly. I'm going to ask you to turn around and face that

:08:56. > :09:00.way. We'll assume the position where we bend down into our knees. You

:09:01. > :09:09.take the pelvis backwards and the chest is out and you lift the arms

:09:10. > :09:12.up high. Everybody at home. You have to do the opposite, you have to take

:09:13. > :09:29.your pelvis forward and your chest end. No, no... Let me show you.

:09:30. > :09:34.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. That is the Christmas move of all mince pies!

:09:35. > :09:42.That is a very mince the move! That was brilliant. Top of the Leader

:09:43. > :09:48.Board again with their tango, Len was impressed by the choreography

:09:49. > :09:52.from Oti. Once you bring in extra dancers, you have to be careful, it

:09:53. > :09:57.can distract you and it can perfect -- affect the performance but the

:09:58. > :10:01.way they used it was fantastic. Now as we are approaching the semifinal

:10:02. > :10:07.and the final, we have to highlight things to take care of. We talked

:10:08. > :10:10.about characterisation, this is a fabulous bit of tango, we have a

:10:11. > :10:14.lovely attitude between them, they are down in the knees and that is

:10:15. > :10:19.beautiful. What worried B was steps like this that turn more into

:10:20. > :10:22.quickstep action. Semi-finals and finals get the character of the

:10:23. > :10:27.dance right and the technical elements across to the judges. The

:10:28. > :10:36.talent between these two is outstanding and I love it, but I'm a

:10:37. > :10:42.little bit worried, take care. OK. Ore and Joanne, beautiful foxtrot

:10:43. > :10:45.but they were in the dance-off. Len spotted a couple of unsteady

:10:46. > :10:49.moments. I love them. I thought when this opened up, the most beautiful

:10:50. > :10:56.production with beautiful flowers and as he stepped into the foxtrot,

:10:57. > :11:03.I thought, amazing. If we look here, you can see them, they are scattered

:11:04. > :11:08.across it. Very small errors. I was almost sad about it, last week I

:11:09. > :11:11.picked up on his strength, his core, his balance, his control,

:11:12. > :11:15.everything. It could have been because of the flowers or his

:11:16. > :11:20.nerves, I don't know, but let's pull it back together because I love this

:11:21. > :11:26.duo and I think they are amazing. Semifinals, get your focus, don't

:11:27. > :11:32.get nervous, deliver the goods. Louise Hunt Kevan, their quickstep

:11:33. > :11:38.to The Deadwood Stage, Craig loved that they weaved in different

:11:39. > :11:44.stages. We were loving the stands, absolutely amazing. I have picked up

:11:45. > :11:49.here where she is having a jolly up on the stage. Even that mistake

:11:50. > :11:53.there, Kevin went to lead one way and she went the other but they

:11:54. > :11:58.picked it back up and held OK. For me, I gain can but concerns, it got

:11:59. > :12:04.lost in musical 's way, there was a lot of solo dancing. Their element

:12:05. > :12:13.is when they are in partnership on the dance floor. Big top line, hip

:12:14. > :12:17.actions, all the technique is that Louise has got and that she has

:12:18. > :12:21.shown, this continued strength with her performance and entertainment.

:12:22. > :12:27.It's going to be an amazing semifinal. It really is. I cant wait

:12:28. > :12:30.to discuss it next week. Karen Hardy.

:12:31. > :12:33.If - like me and Karen - you're already missing

:12:34. > :12:35.the razzle-dazzle and panache of Musicals Week, turn

:12:36. > :12:37.that frown upside down - we've got your back.

:12:38. > :12:40.The day is Tuesday, you're watching It Takes Two and that can

:12:41. > :12:45.only mean one thing - it's Tunes on Tuesday.

:12:46. > :12:51.MUSIC: Get Down On It - Kool The Gang.

:12:52. > :12:56.The Strictly Semi-Final is just four days away and the excitement

:12:57. > :13:03.So, let's find out what songs our couples will be dancing to -

:13:04. > :13:15.starting with.... It's 'Bleeding Love' by Leona Lewis.

:13:16. > :13:18.This song spent a whopping seven weeks at Number 1 in the UK

:13:19. > :13:20.and topped the charts in 35 countries, including the US -

:13:21. > :13:23.where she became the first British female solo act to do

:13:24. > :13:32.But who will be hoping for global success with this on Saturday?

:13:33. > :13:50.Right, let's have another tune please...

:13:51. > :13:52.It's 'Glad All Over' by The Dave Clark Five -

:13:53. > :13:58.one of the biggest bands of the 1960s.

:13:59. > :14:01.Fun fact for you ? before starting the band, Dave Clark was an extra

:14:02. > :14:04.in over 40 films at Elstree Studios, the very same studios

:14:05. > :14:23.But who's going to be 'Glad All Over' on Saturday?

:14:24. > :14:44.Right, I'd like another tune please...

:14:45. > :14:49.It's 'Vivir mi Vida' by Mark Anthony. Marc is a two-time Grammy

:14:50. > :14:52.award winner and the top selling tropical salsa artist of all time,

:14:53. > :14:55.but he really cemented his place as Latin royalty back in 2004

:14:56. > :15:03.when he married Jenny from the Block herself, Jennifer Lopez.

:15:04. > :15:09.Now Karen, do you know what Vivir Mi Vida actually means?

:15:10. > :15:41.but who will Dunster this? -- dance to this?

:15:42. > :15:46.Well done if you guessed that at home.

:15:47. > :15:48.Now, eagle-eyed viewers may notice that we still have one couple whose

:15:49. > :15:52.I for one am not going to let that happen.

:15:53. > :16:03.Into resting. As a special treat, I'm going to let you queue your own

:16:04. > :16:15.track today. I wonder if Levi's ors could be a hint. -- the vice of --

:16:16. > :16:16.visors. As a special treat, I'm going to let

:16:17. > :16:20.you cue your own track today. Be gentle with her, Ore.

:16:21. > :16:22.Yes, these two will be dancing an Argentine Tango

:16:23. > :16:24.to Kylie Minogue's 'Can't Get Did you know that this track,

:16:25. > :16:28.released in 2001, is Kylie's But it was actually originally

:16:29. > :16:32.written for S Club 7. They rejected it and so did

:16:33. > :16:34.Sophie Ellis Bextor before it You two need to get ready

:16:35. > :16:38.for our chat later. There was a little bit of Scots crab

:16:39. > :16:52.coming in there. This weekend, our couples

:16:53. > :16:54.will be dancing to not So if you want to know their second

:16:55. > :16:59.songs too, head to the Strictly Right now, it's almost time to

:17:00. > :17:03.welcome Jason Gilkison for a chat. But first, let's have a reminder of

:17:04. > :17:32.some of his finest work this series. I actually yelped watching that

:17:33. > :17:42.little montan should back. It was so incredible, Jason. -- montage. What

:17:43. > :17:48.was the biggest challenge of musical week for you? We have almost done

:17:49. > :17:53.everything, so we went old school, revisited things like Chicago, West

:17:54. > :17:58.Side Story, and of course the big mega mix at the beginning that

:17:59. > :18:07.opened the show., but I think we went to 19 different musicals. It is

:18:08. > :18:15.incredible. You have got Annie at the front, Matilda, the Phantom.

:18:16. > :18:20.Anton was singing. Was it like herding cats? It was weird, because

:18:21. > :18:34.even during the numbers, things got changed. Chicago would be mixing

:18:35. > :18:37.with Les Miserables. I would like to see the off the camera crazy stuff

:18:38. > :18:43.that is going on. Can I say, West Side Story was so beautiful. I know

:18:44. > :18:50.it is your favourite, it's one of mine. I won't put you through my

:18:51. > :18:57.singing it from beginning to end. Karen as Anita. How do you put a

:18:58. > :19:00.Strictly stamp on to something so iconic? Guillemot I have wanted to

:19:01. > :19:11.do that particular musical for a long time. The music is so iconic. I

:19:12. > :19:14.think our pros dance Latin so beautifully, I just wanted to let

:19:15. > :19:23.them do what they do. The number came so easily. We all just started

:19:24. > :19:27.working together, and we all felt really good about it. Beth Honan had

:19:28. > :19:32.done the other routine, the Chicago one. We had that rehearsed, but we

:19:33. > :19:35.were so proud of the West Side Story one. Normally we don't do a group

:19:36. > :19:38.number at the end of the show, so it was really difficult and they had to

:19:39. > :19:55.focus to get their mind on something. That moment when Katya

:19:56. > :19:59.fell down onto the chair during the Bob Fosse number, magical. I want to

:20:00. > :20:04.do the best for them. When we'll get in room together, we are so excited

:20:05. > :20:09.just to work the process through, so it has to come from us all being

:20:10. > :20:14.together. It is like a dream, even hearing about it. These are some of

:20:15. > :20:26.the dances that inspired them to become dances in the first place. --

:20:27. > :20:33.to become dancers. The thing that is special about Strictly is that it is

:20:34. > :20:36.a family, we all come together - wardrobe, lighting, Nicky, the

:20:37. > :20:40.director, we all communicate so closely. We are joined at the hip.

:20:41. > :20:43.You can see when it starts to come to fruition that we have all been

:20:44. > :20:51.thinking the same thing, and I think that is why these numbers got to the

:20:52. > :20:55.level they did. Lots of questions from viewers. Anna Maria wants to

:20:56. > :20:58.know when you are choreographing group numbers, what is the process

:20:59. > :21:05.and what is your starting point for a new dance? Different each time.

:21:06. > :21:09.Sometimes it is a story we have, like Romeo and Juliet. We might have

:21:10. > :21:12.an amazing these of music that we think, we've never used that on

:21:13. > :21:17.Strictly, so we might want to do that. We might start with Brendan

:21:18. > :21:20.and Natalie by Gavin, we would like to do something based on their

:21:21. > :21:24.strengths, so it comes from different places. I can't say it's

:21:25. > :21:31.the same way each time, and that is why we're so lucky and Friday are

:21:32. > :21:35.also different. Different ways for each number. Can we make

:21:36. > :21:38.suggestions? Katie says, if you were taking part in Strictly yourself and

:21:39. > :21:43.you could pick any music and any dance, what would you choose?

:21:44. > :21:48.Something really slow would be good. A nice rumba. When I danced, I loved

:21:49. > :21:52.that, it was my favourite dance. That hasn't changed. I'd like to

:21:53. > :21:58.many pieces of music to which lit down to the one, but the rumba is

:21:59. > :22:05.fantastic. We can't wait to see what treats you have finished all -- you

:22:06. > :22:08.have in store for the semifinal and the final.

:22:09. > :22:10.Thank you so much for joining us tonight, and best of luck

:22:11. > :22:13.Give it up for Jason Gilkison, everyone!

:22:14. > :22:16.It's time now to welcome our final guests of the night,

:22:17. > :22:19.who at the weekend won themselves a Golden Ticket to the Strictly

:22:20. > :22:29.Semi-Finals after a short detour to the Dance-Off.

:22:30. > :22:54.You brought back that pure ballroom style. It is a stonker! I am so

:22:55. > :23:00.happy you are here. It was a dance you were both looking so forward to.

:23:01. > :23:05.How did it go for you? The moment that I put on that outfit, the

:23:06. > :23:09.transformation was complete. I have said before that he is such an

:23:10. > :23:12.iconic character for me and so many people growing up. The costume

:23:13. > :23:16.department did such an amazing job. I think the foxtrot was the perfect

:23:17. > :23:22.dance for that song because it is so magical. It was just a shame that

:23:23. > :23:28.there was a dance off at the end of it. We will come to that. The judges

:23:29. > :23:29.said there were a couple of balance issues. Where you more nervous this

:23:30. > :23:50.week? -- were you more nervous this week? We

:23:51. > :23:55.were opening. The dance is so technical. Put a step wrong and you

:23:56. > :23:59.could be completely wrong, and I was nervous about that being possibly

:24:00. > :24:06.our last dance. I let it run through me, I think. It wasn't me, that we

:24:07. > :24:10.can. I might say it was partly my fault. I choreograph the routine and

:24:11. > :24:15.because it was the quarterfinals I wanted something extra, so I wanted

:24:16. > :24:21.swing and suede. The step before, I wanted to swoop, and you have to

:24:22. > :24:28.hover on your toes. From that swoop into hovering is quite difficult. It

:24:29. > :24:33.was not your fault in the slightest. It is a beautiful thing. Whatever

:24:34. > :24:39.happened, it was still absolutely stunning. The judges are getting so

:24:40. > :24:43.tough now, aren't they? Still 36 - that's brilliant. It's amazing. It

:24:44. > :24:49.was still good and I was extremely happy with that. It is the

:24:50. > :24:55.quarterfinals, to get into the semis, so they have to be more

:24:56. > :25:03.critical. Any excuse not to give ten, they have to. They said

:25:04. > :25:12.unanimously, that is a lot of love in the room. Were you pleased? Yes.

:25:13. > :25:16.He always pulls it off in the dance off, and this time he was probably

:25:17. > :25:21.thinking, this could make or break me, and it has to go well, and he

:25:22. > :25:27.went out there and danced really well. It was perfection lie. I loved

:25:28. > :25:31.doing it again and doing it justice. Like I said, I didn't feel like I

:25:32. > :25:35.was myself that how we can. I would have been gutted if we had gone

:25:36. > :25:40.because we wouldn't have done ourselves justice, so I was so glad

:25:41. > :25:44.we could do it and survived it. I know. And you are in the semifinal.

:25:45. > :25:48.Your wife is there at the front every week. I guess it's the only

:25:49. > :25:54.time she gets to see you because you are training so hard. How has her

:25:55. > :25:57.experience been? It must be a roller-coaster. Our partners live

:25:58. > :26:04.every second of it with us, don't they? She has lived the five-hour

:26:05. > :26:10.door-to-door trip from Manchester to Elstree every Friday, but she loves

:26:11. > :26:18.it. She loves the escapism, getting soaked up in it. She has been

:26:19. > :26:29.welcomed. But she will have support this weekend, because the whole

:26:30. > :26:32.clan... Is mum coming? Yes. But also my dad has rearranged a flight from

:26:33. > :26:39.Nigeria to come all the way to watch us in the semifinal, so I was also

:26:40. > :26:43.very glad that he is able to come. He will be front and centre. He just

:26:44. > :26:48.turned 80, so I hope he doesn't pass out asleep in the middle of the

:26:49. > :27:00.show. He sleeps a lot. It will be emotional. From the Argentine -- the

:27:01. > :27:04.Argentine tango to Kylie Minogue. It was all sorts of weird. I love the

:27:05. > :27:09.weirdness. Have you done any training yet? How is it looking? We

:27:10. > :27:19.have done a bit of it. The music suits the tango. There is a little

:27:20. > :27:29.twist on it. It is exciting. I was fearful of it at the start of the

:27:30. > :27:43.competition because of the kick into the nether regions. It's dangerous!

:28:13. > :28:17.floor. I am looking forward to it. You have been looking forward to the

:28:18. > :28:20.quickstep rages, and for that reason I have been anticipating it, so I

:28:21. > :28:27.hope we can pull out a proper double show. What would it mean to get to

:28:28. > :28:30.the final? Everything. Oh my gosh. You know what, it would be the best

:28:31. > :28:43.way to thank everybody who has supported us, but especially the

:28:44. > :28:47.best way to thank Jo. 12 weeks ago she picked me up as someone who had

:28:48. > :28:52.not danced and she has been so patient. To get to where we are, in

:28:53. > :29:06.the big showpiece, would be amazing. I want to do it for her. And for

:29:07. > :29:08.Fola. She is getting so much airtime out of the show!

:29:09. > :29:16.But don't worry, we'll be back tomorrow at 6.30,
