0:00:57 > 0:00:59Hello and welcome to It Takes Two!

0:00:59 > 0:01:03It is the penultimate show of the series!

0:01:03 > 0:01:06But it's OK because tonight we have a Strictly A-list line-up

0:01:06 > 0:01:09to help make up for it.

0:01:09 > 0:01:15If you haven't decided who you're going to throw your support

0:01:15 > 0:01:17behind this Saturday, our Finalists' Celebrity pals

0:01:17 > 0:01:19are here to make the case for their nearest and dearest.

0:01:19 > 0:01:22Hello Warren Brown, Dawn Steele, Joe McElderry and Bonnie Langford.

0:01:22 > 0:01:31Also here to champion themselves, it's the gorgeous Joe and Katya!

0:01:36 > 0:01:40Plus, back by popular demand, Strictly favourite Louise Redknapp

0:01:40 > 0:01:44will be singing us out later in the show.

0:01:44 > 0:01:46But first up, if you thought proceedings couldn't

0:01:46 > 0:01:47get any more glam, you're very wrong.

0:01:47 > 0:01:51For the final time this series, it's Puttin' on the Glitz!

0:02:05 > 0:02:08It's Vicky Gill, everyone!

0:02:08 > 0:02:10CHEERING APPLAUSE

0:02:10 > 0:02:17One last time, the outfit, check that out, give us at world. You look

0:02:17 > 0:02:27hot. 48 hours away, and a lovely haircut does well! What are the big

0:02:27 > 0:02:31challenges for you right now? Not what you are wearing to the wrap

0:02:31 > 0:02:35party, anything, what is happening? We have to be calm because the

0:02:35 > 0:02:39finalists are to think about what they are doing, we have to ask for

0:02:39 > 0:02:45any news, what you need, what do I need to be cutting, how much doesn't

0:02:45 > 0:02:49need to move? We just are to be calm of the last four. We bring back the

0:02:49 > 0:02:54other garments and check them over and make sure they are looking good.

0:02:54 > 0:02:59Ready to go into Saturday night. But it is quite calm, just a lot.I

0:02:59 > 0:03:06know, you have a lot to do but it's calm, unlike here today. So much is

0:03:06 > 0:03:12shrouded in secrecy, one thing we can discuss, the show dances, you

0:03:12 > 0:03:16have brought some sketches, Alexandra no business like show

0:03:16 > 0:03:23business, is that lemon? It is green, we are teasing. This is part

0:03:23 > 0:03:29of the number but it may not be all of the number. Part of it is cut,

0:03:29 > 0:03:40lots of volume, it might move quite quickly, who knows?Say no more!

0:03:40 > 0:03:50Gemma dancing, she likes to burlesque, it's from the film

0:03:50 > 0:03:54Burlesque...We could not hide it too much I am not going to let you

0:03:54 > 0:03:58know what the colour, the basic colour is black over nude but lots

0:03:58 > 0:04:03of crystal colours on top, the skirt detail is great interest, when we

0:04:03 > 0:04:08talk to Gemma and Aljaz tomorrow they can give me more info, lots of

0:04:08 > 0:04:16leg but also lots of links.I like it, you're telling us a little bit

0:04:16 > 0:04:20but not everything. Such a tease. Debbie McGee, one day I will fly

0:04:20 > 0:04:28away, will she have wings? You know, a lot can change so there might be!

0:04:28 > 0:04:32Could turn up tomorrow and ask for them but to my knowledge at the

0:04:32 > 0:04:36moment there are no wings. We have got a soft skirt with cream and pale

0:04:36 > 0:04:41pink over the top, lots of beading on the helpline, Crystal is going on

0:04:41 > 0:04:45panels up the side and the secret detailed in the middle. Very

0:04:45 > 0:04:54delicate and soft.Stunning. Joe dancing to dreams come true, he will

0:04:54 > 0:05:00look amazing in this! It will set off his allies, of the shoulder, he

0:05:00 > 0:05:08has got such lovely shoulders. This is part of their number. As you can

0:05:08 > 0:05:12see, she's a princess so he is going to be a prince, I was looking at his

0:05:12 > 0:05:19jacket, I saw it on e-mail this afternoon and looks fantastic.I

0:05:19 > 0:05:30have goose bumps. You have excelled herself, so we thought we would

0:05:30 > 0:05:34celebrate with a look at some of our favourite outfits with help from the

0:05:34 > 0:05:46girls. He kept! Ladies it is not

0:05:53 > 0:06:00we are going to pretend they are mannequins but they are real-life.

0:06:00 > 0:06:04This was Janette's outfit for her waltz, you're really good about,

0:06:04 > 0:06:12it's quite frightening.I have to tickle you. What can you tell us

0:06:12 > 0:06:16about this one and why you loved it? People ask what is my favourite and

0:06:16 > 0:06:20for me it when it all comes together, everyone in the team and

0:06:20 > 0:06:24then when we are watching fantastic performance, we loved Aston and

0:06:24 > 0:06:29Janette as a couple so this was a moment in time.We know you are a

0:06:29 > 0:06:38Latin sensation. How much do you love ballroom?I love the ballroom

0:06:38 > 0:06:41dresses, I am kind of the Disney Princess at heart so when you put on

0:06:41 > 0:06:46a ball gown you feel like a princess. I enjoyed the ballroom

0:06:46 > 0:06:49numbers and this one specifically because Aston really came out of his

0:06:49 > 0:06:54shell when we did this dance.I still cannot hear his name without

0:06:54 > 0:07:01wanting to cry. We will see him tomorrow! Love you. Let's go over a

0:07:01 > 0:07:08year to our other delightful real-life mannequin, salsa with

0:07:08 > 0:07:16Jonnie, Oti reminding us.This one was memorable, we were deciding if

0:07:16 > 0:07:25it was going to be trousers or address, Oti is very, very shy.She

0:07:25 > 0:07:30never tells you what she really feels!I thought it was a good

0:07:30 > 0:07:33number because we had fun discussing it and it got longer and longer as

0:07:33 > 0:07:39the evening went on into Saturday but she always looks gorgeous. You

0:07:39 > 0:07:42do look gorgeous, you have been doing the series three years and you

0:07:42 > 0:07:47all of Friday with Vicky Gill?We have interesting conversations.

0:07:47 > 0:07:56Quite intense. I think this started as a skirt and it was all a short

0:07:56 > 0:08:01and the first time I wanted it long, so we have interesting debates. But

0:08:01 > 0:08:05look at the results ladies and gentlemen! Let's hear it for the

0:08:05 > 0:08:12girls. Give our love to all your team Vicky

0:08:12 > 0:08:16girls. Give our love to all your team Vicky, and it is a team effort.

0:08:16 > 0:08:24We can Dan Snow. Do it!

0:08:24 > 0:08:26Now, my next guests stormed the Semi-Finals with a show-stopping

0:08:26 > 0:08:29American Smooth and a super-human Argentine Tango.

0:08:29 > 0:08:30You better believe they are Strictly final

0:08:30 > 0:08:35ready, it's Joe and Katya!

0:08:40 > 0:08:44Your timing was extraordinary and you had the most glorious movements

0:08:44 > 0:08:51from foot to foot today, well done. That left, I'm still palpitating. It

0:08:51 > 0:08:55was so complicated. Where the

0:08:59 > 0:09:03scary and surprising just as we wanted. She reacted to every move

0:09:03 > 0:09:10you dead, it was perfect. You took up big risk, did it pay off? I think

0:09:10 > 0:09:13it did. Well done.

0:09:13 > 0:09:18It's Joe and Katya, everyone!

0:09:18 > 0:09:20Big Love in the house tonight.

0:09:20 > 0:09:21Congratulations, you are Strictly 2017 finalists,

0:09:21 > 0:09:23can you quite believe it?

0:09:23 > 0:09:28Not in a million years did I think I would see this, it's such a lovely

0:09:28 > 0:09:31thing. Having all that work we have done over the past few months coming

0:09:31 > 0:09:37to something feels amazing. It is of banks to this one. It's exciting, we

0:09:37 > 0:09:44are trying to be calm but not doing a very good job. Last week, take

0:09:44 > 0:09:47ourselves back, you were mere semifinalists and you had the

0:09:47 > 0:09:51American Smooth, Shirley said it was a glorious way to open the

0:09:51 > 0:09:57semifinals and how was it for you? It was good. We love opening the

0:09:57 > 0:10:00show and I was worried it would be Scottish and lumpy but it was

0:10:00 > 0:10:06American and smooth. I think you get to hit the ground running and you're

0:10:06 > 0:10:09not watching everyone else getting nervous and worrying you will mess

0:10:09 > 0:10:16up.I love this dance, I watched it so many times, I love him and this

0:10:16 > 0:10:22dance. All the little details he put, the character, the attitude, I

0:10:22 > 0:10:28loved it. I watched it so many times, and you finally met Miss

0:10:28 > 0:10:35Jones!After all those weeks. Slamming doors on her face! Dancing

0:10:35 > 0:10:42on top of skyscrapers! It's like a marriage. Then of course your

0:10:42 > 0:10:52Argentine tango. Darcey said it was wonderfully dating. Craig said it

0:10:52 > 0:10:58was a risk but it paid off, how much did you enjoy that?It was

0:10:58 > 0:11:02difficult, I'm not going to say it was easy because it wasn't. It's

0:11:02 > 0:11:11quite, the stumble!Sorry!I love it when they show that! It was

0:11:11 > 0:11:16difficult but the best ones are. It's all the sweeter when you have

0:11:16 > 0:11:24had to work and dig deeper for it. People respond to it.Never since

0:11:24 > 0:11:29the locomotion has there been a move that the nation has gone so crackers

0:11:29 > 0:11:34about, everyone trying to recreate it, how important was it to do

0:11:34 > 0:11:38something different and dating? Firstly it seems like I have this

0:11:38 > 0:11:47thing with the moves...CHEERING APPLAUSE

0:11:47 > 0:11:51It is much smoother than it was in rehearsals, in rehearsals it went

0:11:51 > 0:12:00wrong about 90% of the time. When I had heels on, in rehearsals we had

0:12:00 > 0:12:07flats on, but I put the heels on and I tipped over but it worked. I think

0:12:07 > 0:12:12with this modern song and semifinal, needing to get a final we had to do

0:12:12 > 0:12:21something special. She does iconic moves. What will you do next year?

0:12:21 > 0:12:28We will give you some ideas. We must say you are they only couple not to

0:12:28 > 0:12:34have been in the dance off. CHEERING APPLAUSE

0:12:34 > 0:12:42Well done. That is something. How much has the support meant? It has

0:12:42 > 0:12:45been mind blowing and it's great because you don't know how you react

0:12:45 > 0:12:48when you are in there, I worried perhaps the pressure may be too much

0:12:48 > 0:12:53and you might do it worse the second time. The fact people are picking up

0:12:53 > 0:12:56the phone and voting for us is a lovely time and we are so to

0:12:56 > 0:13:02everyone.Three dances this weekend, livestock show dance, you cannot

0:13:02 > 0:13:08tell me anything but we want to know a little bit, here is the music.

0:13:08 > 0:13:16What can you reveal at this moment, three words?Even the music has a

0:13:16 > 0:13:27twist to it.Unexpected. Christmas Eve.Magical. Fairy tale.That is

0:13:27 > 0:13:33enough! Also you are doing the judges favourite, they have chosen

0:13:33 > 0:13:39the Viennese waltz from movie week, we can look back, are you looking

0:13:39 > 0:13:50forward to revising, reprising your role?I am. I look back on that with

0:13:50 > 0:13:53fondness because it was early on and it was one of the first ones we

0:13:53 > 0:13:57thought it was going well and they responded well to it and it gave me

0:13:57 > 0:14:02a real confidence to keep going and believe in this woman that she is so

0:14:02 > 0:14:06fantastic and comes up with such great numbers. I thought revisiting

0:14:06 > 0:14:11it would be a walk in the park but no. They expect so much more from us

0:14:11 > 0:14:20this time around.Is the moustache coming back?I am looking now...It

0:14:20 > 0:14:30is not coming back.You could get a stick on one.I hope not.Quickly,

0:14:30 > 0:14:35your choice, again I must do this, did you come to an agreement easily?

0:14:35 > 0:14:42In about ten seconds. That one, why? Because we enjoyed it and the public

0:14:42 > 0:14:48liked it as well, that is all we are saying. We just want to do it again.

0:14:48 > 0:14:51There were quite a few where we thought we could do this or that but

0:14:51 > 0:14:56the second we said it we both thought, yeah, that one.Good luck,

0:14:56 > 0:15:01we will see you tomorrow, you will be amazing. Joe and Katya! CHEERING

0:15:01 > 0:15:04APPLAUSE You might want to cover your ears

0:15:04 > 0:15:08and possibly your eyes because it's time for a visit to the training

0:15:08 > 0:15:11room where Debbie and Alexandra are busy preparing for the single most

0:15:11 > 0:15:13important dance of their lives.

0:15:17 > 0:15:23This is the last dance Debbie has to learn. It is really exciting to do a

0:15:23 > 0:15:28show dance where there are no rules and I can let myself go and enjoy

0:15:28 > 0:15:35the music, and just enjoy my last week on Strictly. It is going to be

0:15:35 > 0:15:38really emotional, because the music is really, really beautiful, and

0:15:38 > 0:15:44we're going to have a lot of lifts. I really can't wait for Saturday

0:15:44 > 0:15:52night to perform it. Nice.

0:15:52 > 0:16:00With this show dance, I want to push Alexandra to her maximum.

0:16:00 > 0:16:04I love the fact that there are so many different elements.

0:16:04 > 0:16:07With the quick step and American Smooth, and a little bit of

0:16:07 > 0:16:11Argentine tango. We create our best moments.

0:16:11 > 0:16:16I get to be hyper, jump around the stage, and that is when Gorka knows

0:16:16 > 0:16:23I am happiest. I am looking forward to getting to perform it.

0:16:23 > 0:16:24Right now, in the words of Celine Dion,

0:16:24 > 0:16:27things are getting seeerious.

0:16:27 > 0:16:29The time has come for four of our finalists'

0:16:29 > 0:16:32celebrity mates to fight it out in honour of

0:16:32 > 0:16:37their nearest and dearest.

0:16:37 > 0:16:38Please welcome Dawn Steele, Warren Brown,

0:16:38 > 0:16:41Bonnie Langford and Joe McElderry.

0:16:41 > 0:16:47What lovely rosettes you have. We are going to start with you, Dawn,

0:16:47 > 0:16:52you and Joe are best buddies, he was the dark horse of the competition,

0:16:52 > 0:16:58but could you see his potential from the beginning?Joe is an amazing

0:16:58 > 0:17:01singer and actor, but I have never seen him dance, especially not like

0:17:01 > 0:17:06that. I knew he could move a bit come because we have been to the odd

0:17:06 > 0:17:13club before, but yeah, that is why he is the dark horse, because it is

0:17:13 > 0:17:18a journey he has been on from the beginning. The Argentine tango last

0:17:18 > 0:17:22week, an believable. Him and Katya have never been in the dance off,

0:17:22 > 0:17:27that has to be a good omen.It has got to be. He is here and has made

0:17:27 > 0:17:32it to the final. Even if he went out three weeks ago, he still would have

0:17:32 > 0:17:37been happy. It has got to be a good thing.Katya's choreography, people

0:17:37 > 0:17:41have loved it, how excited are due for his show dance?I love that

0:17:41 > 0:17:47song. Love that song. That is why it has worked so well for him as well,

0:17:47 > 0:17:51and Katya, the choreography has been out of this world. And it is

0:17:51 > 0:17:57different.So exciting, hello Warren Brown, welcome to the show will stop

0:17:57 > 0:18:06big fan. You work with Gemma from Hollyoaks, did you have any idea

0:18:06 > 0:18:10there was a dancer under this exterior?I do think I did. I have

0:18:10 > 0:18:15seen her dance, of sorts, out and about, but nowhere near in this

0:18:15 > 0:18:20capacity. Testament to her, if she puts her mind to something, she

0:18:20 > 0:18:24gives it her all.Incredible stuff. She started the competition, no

0:18:24 > 0:18:28dancing experience whatsoever, how impressed are you?She stepped out

0:18:28 > 0:18:31of her comfort zone and threw herself into it. So impressed.

0:18:31 > 0:18:38Everyone is behind everyone.You can tell, amazing. A bit of a

0:18:38 > 0:18:42roller-coaster, she has never had terrible weeks, have you gone

0:18:42 > 0:18:48through that journey with her?My career? My ups and downs? My own

0:18:48 > 0:18:57career??LAUGHTER The competition is so tough, it is

0:18:57 > 0:19:02never plain sailing. But having to dance off, last week,

0:19:02 > 0:19:06she took the challenge head on and rose above it.

0:19:06 > 0:19:13Bonnie, welcome, lovely to see you. You were supporting your poorly,

0:19:13 > 0:19:22Davood.Didn't he do so well. But you and Debbie have been friends for

0:19:22 > 0:19:2930 years, what have you made of the reinvention?Isn't she amazing. Yes,

0:19:29 > 0:19:34I was 100% behind Davood, and of course I would be. But Debbie and I

0:19:34 > 0:19:39go back a long way. She has thrown herself, actually thrown herself,

0:19:39 > 0:19:45she set the bar so high and has consistently done that. What is so

0:19:45 > 0:19:47amazing is that numbers don't matter.Yes, exactly, you are so

0:19:47 > 0:19:53right.At first it was all about age, but yes, amazing, amazing

0:19:53 > 0:19:59because of her age, but when we watch her dance, amazing. What you

0:19:59 > 0:20:07think of her with Giovanni?I love it.LAUGHTER

0:20:07 > 0:20:14I love you, Debbie McGee.It is a catchphrase. It is such fun. Debbie

0:20:14 > 0:20:19is a very graceful dancer, she is very, sort of, elegant and Serena.

0:20:19 > 0:20:24To see her do the fun stuff as well, that is very much out of her comfort

0:20:24 > 0:20:29zone, I know that. She is having a ball with it.And we are watching

0:20:29 > 0:20:33her. Joe, welcome. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:20:33 > 0:20:42You bonded with Alexandrova winning that show, a Big Show, can she do

0:20:42 > 0:20:47the am thinkable and do the double? Of course. Of course. Alexandra has

0:20:47 > 0:20:51a work ethic and she is incredible, amazing performer. We have known

0:20:51 > 0:20:56each other the years and been to see others shows. She totally is

0:20:56 > 0:21:00bringing it to the dance floor. She is incredible. She has thrown

0:21:00 > 0:21:05herself into every routine, no matter what speed or mood. She gets

0:21:05 > 0:21:09into the spirit of it, which is what it is all about. She had a bumpy

0:21:09 > 0:21:13ride, and last week, it was an amazing moment when she went

0:21:13 > 0:21:17through, and we all felt it. What is the biggest misconception about

0:21:17 > 0:21:22Alexandra?She is just a very real person and she is very expressive.

0:21:22 > 0:21:26She knows how to deal with that, she has been through it before on

0:21:26 > 0:21:30another well-known show in which we went mentioned. I come from the

0:21:30 > 0:21:33name...LAUGHTER She is a fighter, she is strong and

0:21:33 > 0:21:39she will smash it.This is the big moment, they have put forward a good

0:21:39 > 0:21:43case, but it is time to hammer home who you think should win. I will

0:21:43 > 0:21:46give each of you ten seconds to convince the great British public

0:21:46 > 0:21:55why they should vote this weekend. Dawn, you are up first with Joe.

0:21:55 > 0:21:59Vote for Joe, he has had such an amazing journey on this, going from

0:21:59 > 0:22:03non-dancing to being the most amazing dancer, but most of all, he

0:22:03 > 0:22:10has a heart of gold. He is honest and humble...Well done APPLAUSE

0:22:10 > 0:22:16Warren, it is your turn to plead for Gemma. Time starts now.Vote for

0:22:16 > 0:22:19Gemma because she has stepped out of her comfort zone and grafted. She

0:22:19 > 0:22:23has done radio in the morning, straight to rehearsals, the poor kid

0:22:23 > 0:22:30has not slept for 12 weeks.APPLAUSE Why does Debbie deserve the glitter

0:22:30 > 0:22:36ball?Please vote for Debbie, because she has brought sparkle back

0:22:36 > 0:22:40into our Saturday nights simply through setting the bar so high, and

0:22:40 > 0:22:47consistently doing a fantastic job. APPLAUSE

0:22:47 > 0:22:51And finally, Joe, why should people vote for Alexandra?Vote for

0:22:51 > 0:22:54Alexandra, she is a wonderful, wonderful girl, her work ethic is

0:22:54 > 0:22:59incredible and she has brought more sass to the dance floor this series,

0:22:59 > 0:23:03she is incredible, vote for her, please.APPLAUSE

0:23:03 > 0:23:07Didn't he do well. Thank you so much for joining us, Dawn, Warren, Bonnie

0:23:07 > 0:23:11and Joe.

0:23:11 > 0:23:15This lot have done all they can to win your

0:23:15 > 0:23:17support, our Finalists' only other hope is

0:23:17 > 0:23:19putting the hours into their training.

0:23:19 > 0:23:21Here's how Gemma and Joe are getting on with the tiny,

0:23:21 > 0:23:23insignificant matter of their Showdances.

0:23:26 > 0:23:31The show dance is a different style of dance. We have foxed, charleston,

0:23:31 > 0:23:34quick step in there, so there is quite a lot to remember during our

0:23:34 > 0:23:39show dance. At the moment, we are spending a lot

0:23:39 > 0:23:42of time making sure it looks good. It has to little incredible.

0:23:42 > 0:23:46This is going to be our last time on the Strictly floor, regardless of

0:23:46 > 0:23:49what happens, I have to throw everything into it, and hope for the

0:23:49 > 0:23:54best. The more we push and work hard

0:23:54 > 0:24:01during the week, the more we can relax and enjoy the weekend.

0:24:01 > 0:24:04Our dance is a quick step style, but the thing about the show dance,

0:24:04 > 0:24:08there are no rules. The problems I can foresee at this

0:24:08 > 0:24:14point is a pressure might get a bit too much, doing the right thing at

0:24:14 > 0:24:19the right time, and not letting the performance phase you.

0:24:19 > 0:24:22The routine goes fast with lots of different details. That is the

0:24:22 > 0:24:27biggest challenge, to be able to take in all the steps, but at the

0:24:27 > 0:24:29same time, tell the story throughout.

0:24:29 > 0:24:35I want to go out there and make sure I do my best.Yes.

0:24:35 > 0:24:37Look who's here. It's Louise, everyone!

0:24:37 > 0:24:45CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Hello, gorgeous. You look amazing,

0:24:45 > 0:24:48can you believe, this time last year, you were 48 Hours from the

0:24:48 > 0:24:52final. What will our couples be feeling at this moment? You

0:24:52 > 0:24:58remember.You know, it is so nerve-racking, you feel so anxious.

0:24:58 > 0:25:04It is so important to enjoy it. I can't really pick out moment I love,

0:25:04 > 0:25:09because I was so nervous. You just had to enjoy it.I was saying that

0:25:09 > 0:25:15to Joe, you have to stop, and go... Because it is finished.Yeah! When

0:25:15 > 0:25:22you watch now, are you envious, or do you want to be doing it again?I

0:25:22 > 0:25:25had the best time, but the thought of going through the nerves,

0:25:25 > 0:25:28standing on the stairs, especially for the final, it is...It never

0:25:28 > 0:25:36gets easier. Gemma is terrified about tomorrow, have you kept up the

0:25:36 > 0:25:40dancing? I know you have been doing a show, what about the ballroom and

0:25:40 > 0:25:51Latin?A little bit. Not really, no! It is not the same. You don't get to

0:25:51 > 0:25:56ballroom dance when you go out.Are you like me, do you occasionally go

0:25:56 > 0:26:02into the bathroom doing the samba in your socks?I am in a bar somewhere

0:26:02 > 0:26:07thinking I can do the cha-cha-cha.

0:26:07 > 0:26:10Your boy Kev's not in the Final, who are you throwing your

0:26:10 > 0:26:11support behind this weekend?

0:26:11 > 0:26:14Everyone that is there deserves to be them. I love how Alexandra has

0:26:14 > 0:26:19attacked it every week. I love the thing Joe and Katya do. They are all

0:26:19 > 0:26:23great. I wish them the best of luck. Whoever wins, to make it to the

0:26:23 > 0:26:29final is very special.It is a huge thing, well said.

0:26:29 > 0:26:31I'm afraid that's all we have time for tonight!

0:26:31 > 0:26:33A huge thank you to all my guests.

0:26:33 > 0:26:35I'm back tomorrow night Live from the

0:26:35 > 0:26:36Strictly Ballroom, where myself and Gethin

0:26:36 > 0:26:39will be joined by all of our Finalists and a

0:26:39 > 0:26:40very special Friday Panel.
