:00:12. > :00:16.It's Friday, coming up tonight: After the drama of the tango,

:00:16. > :00:25.Chelsee and Pasha are getting into the swing of the Charleston. I will

:00:25. > :00:33.be dropping into the BBC1 studio for a chat with Robbie and Ola.

:00:33. > :00:43.Melanie C will be joining us, Vernon Kay and superfan Christopher

:00:43. > :01:08.

:01:08. > :01:12.Biggins. This is Strictly: It Takes Live from Television Centre, this

:01:12. > :01:20.is Strictly: It Takes Two. Here's Zoe!

:01:20. > :01:24.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING. Hello! Hi. Welcome to Friday's It

:01:24. > :01:31.Takes Two. Tomorrow is the halfway point and the competition is

:01:31. > :01:35.getting fierce and in just 23 hours, 53 minutes and 37 seconds the ten

:01:35. > :01:40.remaining couples will be taking to the dancefloor. Chelsee and Pasha

:01:40. > :01:50.will be joining me in a moment. First, here's a reminder of how

:01:50. > :01:52.

:01:52. > :01:55.they got on last week with the You were like a Lancashire hotpot.

:01:55. > :01:59.Out you came, all satisfying and delicious. You have raised your

:01:59. > :02:04.game. That was clean, sharp, full of attack. You coped with the

:02:04. > :02:11.wardrobe malfunction quite well. Although it did throw you. This

:02:11. > :02:15.wicked little witch is a wicked little dancer!

:02:15. > :02:23.I just embarrassed myself on live TV. No, you didn't. I did. You just

:02:23. > :02:30.thought you did and that thought overtook. But you were fine.

:02:30. > :02:37.were fine! Please give it up for Chelsee and Pasha. APPLAUSE. Hello

:02:37. > :02:40.my darling. My goodness me. I think they are a lively bunch tonight! I

:02:40. > :02:44.like it. The whole nation felt for you on Saturday night. You had a

:02:44. > :02:48.bit of a rollercoaster of a Hallowe'en. When you watched it

:02:48. > :02:54.back did you see it wasn't as bad as you thought it was? No, it

:02:54. > :02:58.wasn't as bad. To be honest, when I did see it back I thought why did I

:02:58. > :03:02.kick up such a fuss? At the time I didn't know what the audience had

:03:02. > :03:07.seen or didn't know what everyone had seen it just threw me and

:03:07. > :03:11.because I started crying I felt daft so I started crying even more.

:03:11. > :03:14.Bless you. I am not surprised because your emotions are so

:03:14. > :03:16.heightened, you work so hard towards it, you are so nervous and

:03:16. > :03:22.something like that happens and I could see completely why you

:03:22. > :03:28.thought the worst. That's the last thing a girl needs. I was mortified.

:03:28. > :03:35.It wasn't soed about. Your dancing was so brilliant. Pasha... I am

:03:35. > :03:38.like, get off me! I was shouting at the telly, going Pasha, give her

:03:38. > :03:43.your jacket. You hadn't realised what had happened. I did realise

:03:43. > :03:51.and I checked everything, professional look. Yeah, I bet you

:03:52. > :03:57.did! A likely excuse. Anyway, you were worried last week because you

:03:57. > :04:01.hadn't had loads of training, how was the dance before that? It's

:04:01. > :04:06.always hard when you think if you had more time you would polish it a

:04:06. > :04:11.little bit more. We basically got a skeleton of the dance down, steps

:04:11. > :04:17.are done but not too much time. It's been a hard week and Saturday

:04:17. > :04:20.topped it off. It was waiting to happen. It was a - this week the

:04:20. > :04:29.Charleston and I have a feeling, from seeing bits of your training,

:04:29. > :04:37.that you are liking the Charleston. It's fast. It is fast. And bouncy.

:04:37. > :04:40.Just like you are. Well suited to Chelsee, fast and bouncy, Pasha.

:04:40. > :04:44.Shaoutly -- absolutely. I don't know whether to be insulted or what

:04:44. > :04:50.here. You can do it all really quick. You are bouncy and bubbly.

:04:50. > :04:53.That's what we mean. Exactly. you managed to grab more training

:04:53. > :04:59.this week? Yes, we had more training this week than previous

:04:59. > :05:03.week. Yeah. So we had more time to think our -- sink our teeth into

:05:03. > :05:10.the dance. I am he feeling more confident. So you should because

:05:10. > :05:19.you are amazing. Fans are loving you at the moment. Also, let's

:05:19. > :05:29.listen to your music. MUSIC:. # Has anybody seen my gal?

:05:29. > :05:33.My nan used to sing that song. We had the flight hraoupbt hraoupbt --

:05:33. > :05:37.Lieutenant, please tell me there is a story this week. Yes. Is there?

:05:37. > :05:42.Tell me. He knows, he is playing dumb. He is like your brother. You

:05:42. > :05:47.are like stop it! Yeah. What's the store kreu this week -- story this

:05:47. > :05:51.week? Can I tell you? Yeah, I won't tell anyone. My car breaks down and

:05:51. > :05:57.he doesn't want to fix it at first. I am a mechanic. I shake a little

:05:57. > :06:03.and then he wants to fix it. I like it. Are you going to be wearing

:06:03. > :06:07.overalls? We were working on that, because it's a glamorous show, so

:06:07. > :06:12.mix and match and make it look glamorous enough. In the words of

:06:12. > :06:15.Jason Donovan, if you are a mechanic, bring on the tools,

:06:15. > :06:19.hopefully. Somehow the concentration coming on in the

:06:19. > :06:28.training room? You will have to ask Pasha. I think it's coming on good.

:06:28. > :06:34.I think we have bits and pieces. Ups and downs. Yes. I gave her a

:06:34. > :06:40.nickname this week, Text-zilla. are going to get repetitive strain

:06:40. > :06:47.injury from texting so much there are many things I love about you,

:06:47. > :06:52.but I have spotted you are a bit of a raver. Feast your eyes on this.

:06:52. > :07:02.You are full of interesting dancing today.

:07:02. > :07:03.

:07:03. > :07:13.Beautiful. Almost. We will save it for next year, how about that?

:07:13. > :07:20.MUSIC. Love it. Back to waltz. What dance

:07:20. > :07:24.is that? Just mine. Just yours, OK. I like that dance, but let's never

:07:24. > :07:29.do it again. I tell you what, leave your brother at home, can you take

:07:29. > :07:36.the old girl out dancing? Will you be incorporating that move

:07:36. > :07:39.tomorrow? No, but if I do stay... Yeah. You will work it in somehow.

:07:39. > :07:43.Jennifer Grey was on the show yesterday, did you hear what she

:07:43. > :07:47.said about you? I did and I am speechless. I was absolutely

:07:47. > :07:52.shocked. I can't believe she said such nice comments about me.

:07:52. > :07:56.are a bit of a dirty dancing fan? Yes, it's any little girl's dream

:07:56. > :08:01.for someone as good as amazing as her to say something like that.

:08:01. > :08:06.Just look at the clock now, because in 23 hours, 47 minutes and five

:08:06. > :08:10.seconds you are going to be dancing in front of Jennifer Grey, what are

:08:10. > :08:16.you going to be impress the judges tomorrow? Charleston hands I have

:08:16. > :08:22.been working on. Time something good. High energy. Are we going to

:08:22. > :08:27.smile? Smile. You remembered it all. Good luck to our little Miss

:08:27. > :08:31.Firecracker and our Russian Rocket, Chelsee and Pasha.

:08:31. > :08:39.As you know, we always like to hear your thoughts on the show. Here are

:08:39. > :08:44.some more of your Points of You. I noticed that on Sunday night

:08:44. > :08:54.Robin kicked Pasha in the head and I hope he is OK. Thank you. I just

:08:54. > :08:54.

:08:54. > :09:04.wanted to say that Anton Du Beke is a dead ringer from Wallace and

:09:04. > :09:10.Gromit. OK, thank you, bye. An old Russian proverb for Pasha and

:09:10. > :09:20.Chelsee: You two have dropped firewood beautifully and deserve a

:09:20. > :09:20.

:09:20. > :09:30.good cup of tea. Keep it up. Thank you very much. Do remember this

:09:30. > :09:36.

:09:36. > :09:41.weekend you can call us any time. It's time now to welcome three

:09:41. > :09:48.people who know a thing or two - I hope they do, about singing,

:09:48. > :09:58.dancing and putting on a show. Our Friday panel, Vernon Kay, Melanie C

:09:58. > :10:03.

:10:03. > :10:07.and Christopher Biggins! APPLAUSE What were you up to? Calm

:10:07. > :10:10.yourselves! What were you doing in the background there? I said to

:10:10. > :10:17.Vernon, you could have worn something better than this.

:10:17. > :10:21.Slightly underdressed. He is trying to go ta-da. I was told to come

:10:21. > :10:30.smart casual, Christopher was obviously to come as a glitterball.

:10:30. > :10:37.I am going to a charity event later. I rarely wear things like this!

:10:37. > :10:42.Melanie, a couple of your mates, Emma has done this show and Mel B

:10:42. > :10:46.on Dancing with the Stars, would you be tempted? Because Emma and

:10:46. > :10:54.Melanie did so incredibly well, they've set the standard. I would

:10:54. > :10:58.love to do it, but I would be petrified and it's so much

:10:58. > :11:02.commitment the show and I have seen it firsthand at how much work you

:11:02. > :11:05.have to put in and also the people - I have so much respect for people

:11:05. > :11:10.that do it especially when they've had no dance training because I

:11:10. > :11:14.would be petrified and I danced as a kid, but yeah, it's an amazing

:11:14. > :11:18.show. I love it. The call's probably coming in this week.

:11:18. > :11:21.Vernon, I have to ask you what is your life like at home? How does

:11:21. > :11:26.Strictly affect your home life, because you are a Strictly widow

:11:26. > :11:30.effectively? Our home life revolves around Strictly when it's on. The

:11:30. > :11:34.kids get engrossed by it and obviously we like the little bits

:11:34. > :11:39.of gossip and news and what's coming up throughout the week

:11:39. > :11:42.because Tess is drip-fed it. has a live feed. We sit around

:11:42. > :11:49.watching this show and the kids get involved. On Saturday the kids are

:11:49. > :11:54.dancing and I have to join in. I borrow one of Biggins' dresses, I

:11:54. > :12:03.play the Dame and the kids are principle acceptss. I might send

:12:03. > :12:06.Norm around to hang out. Chris, who is your favourite so far? Can I

:12:06. > :12:11.call you Christopher or Biggins? Whatever you like. My favourite so

:12:11. > :12:17.far has to be Jason, because I think - I know Jason for years and

:12:17. > :12:20.quite frankly, he's never been a dancer, so I am amazed. I did

:12:20. > :12:24.Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with him and he was a disaster. But he has

:12:24. > :12:28.improved. What's interesting, like last week I went to the studio to

:12:28. > :12:32.see it and I thought he gave the best dance I think of the whole

:12:32. > :12:38.season, of everybody. I thought he was sensational. He's really

:12:38. > :12:42.working at it. He's not being lazy, which sometimes he can be. I think

:12:42. > :12:46.he's really going for it. He is putting a lot of effort in it.

:12:46. > :12:50.Let's look at all our couples. We are going to start with Alex and

:12:50. > :12:55.James, this week they're doing the quickstep.

:12:55. > :13:00.This is them training yesterday. Loving the use of leg-warmers.

:13:00. > :13:04.Melanie, what do you think of the music, does this get the seal of

:13:04. > :13:09.approval? This is something I remember dancing to as a kid.

:13:09. > :13:12.think Alex looks brilliant here. This dance could really suit her,

:13:12. > :13:16.more than things have in previous weeks. She had a good week last

:13:16. > :13:19.week. She had a bit of a knock when she did the rumba. What do you

:13:19. > :13:24.think about her and the quickstep? She has to play the character, live

:13:24. > :13:27.the character of the dance. We know she's got a bit of stick from Craig.

:13:27. > :13:33.If she consumes the dance and becomes the dance... You really do

:13:33. > :13:38.know! Like Len always says and Bruno, you got to live the dance!

:13:38. > :13:44.If she did that then she would be on to a winner T would give her an

:13:44. > :13:54.extra 20% on the dancefloor. They don't need need Jennifer Grey, they

:13:54. > :13:55.

:13:55. > :14:03.could have got you. Cheaper! Let's talk about Harry and Aliona.

:14:03. > :14:08.They're doing the samba and dancing to Stevie Wonder. What do you think

:14:08. > :14:12.of our little drummer boy? A couple of the judges said he is a

:14:12. > :14:18.contender? I think he will definitely be in the final three. I

:14:18. > :14:22.really do, because he's great. He has the most sensational body.

:14:22. > :14:31.hadn't noticed. I you saw it, I don't know somewhere last...

:14:31. > :14:35.magazine? Was it a magazine? Stop stalking him! He is very, very good.

:14:35. > :14:39.I would be surprised if he wasn't in the last three. He has to relax

:14:39. > :14:44.more. You can see he is kind of - his face is always the same. It's

:14:44. > :14:48.one, two, three, four. If he smiled and relaxed and maybe took a leaf

:14:48. > :14:52.out of some of the male dancers, the professionals, at how they

:14:52. > :14:55.relax and let the rhythm flow through their bodies. He is doing

:14:55. > :15:00.the samba, that is more fun. That's a training video so maybe on

:15:00. > :15:07.Saturday. Don't you play golf with Harry. Yeah, he is blooming good.

:15:07. > :15:13.was really shocked today, McFly in golf shocker. He is probably better

:15:13. > :15:21.at golf than drumming. Anita and Robin doing the Charleston. Let's

:15:21. > :15:29.look at them in training. She's wearing tights and a leotard, look

:15:29. > :15:32.at her legs. Dancing to I Got Rhythm. She's great, Anita. What's

:15:32. > :15:38.great about her? She's so professional and she really goes

:15:38. > :15:42.for it. 100% she goes for it. That's what is great. She does that

:15:42. > :15:46.in all her acting. She's a superb actress and she's a great dancer,

:15:46. > :15:50.really good in this. What have you been loving about Anita? I actually

:15:50. > :15:57.met Anita when she was rehearsing before they done the first dance.

:15:57. > :16:02.When you were doing Blood Brothers? No, actually, thank you. For

:16:02. > :16:12.Children in Need, I did a couple of songs in We Will Rock You and Brian

:16:12. > :16:13.

:16:14. > :16:16.May came on stage and Anita came to watch. Amaze you go -- amazing life

:16:16. > :16:19.you have. We were talk being the show, because I have a keen

:16:19. > :16:21.interest in the show and what I love about Anita is that she just

:16:22. > :16:24.wanted to learn how to dance. She loves dancing. And you can see

:16:24. > :16:28.she's having a ball. She's so graceful and beautiful and gets

:16:28. > :16:34.into the character of every dance. A great partnership with Robin.

:16:34. > :16:41.said to them last week, I said to Brian May, wouldn't it be fantastic

:16:41. > :16:47.if you... As do you! If you played whilst Anita danced, and he thought

:16:47. > :16:57.it was a good idea. Christmas special, surely. You could sing!

:16:57. > :16:59.

:17:00. > :17:04.What could we do? Let's not go there, Biggins! What a show!

:17:04. > :17:08.concern is last week she forgot her step and it threw her a little bit,

:17:08. > :17:13.and this is a quick dance, if that happens again she might lose a

:17:13. > :17:21.couple of bars and it might threw her. Your wife's really influenced

:17:21. > :17:28.you on this. You look like you are about to fall off. He won't bite

:17:28. > :17:34.you. Audley and Natalie are doing the Viennese waltz this week. Here

:17:34. > :17:38.is our big fella. Nice shoes he is wearing, he got new shoes this week.

:17:39. > :17:42.Vernon, he is very glad to be back in hold. He's been in the bottom

:17:42. > :17:46.two. Do you think he can stay out of the bottom two this week? What

:17:46. > :17:50.Audley has going for him is his personality. He is enjoying the

:17:50. > :17:54.show, enjoying not being in the boxing ring. All right, he might

:17:54. > :17:57.not be light of foot but you can tell he is having a good time

:17:57. > :18:01.because he is always smiling. That's what I like about Audley, he

:18:01. > :18:05.might not be the best dancer but he is enjoying himself, he should get

:18:05. > :18:15.an extra half a point for that. Craig! Little note to Craig. What

:18:15. > :18:16.

:18:16. > :18:22.do you think of the music, Avril Lavine? That's a beautiful --

:18:23. > :18:28.balance hrod -- balance lad. -- ballad. The band and the vocalists,

:18:28. > :18:36.it will be a beautiful version they will do. Nothing to take away from

:18:36. > :18:40.Avril, of course. Wasn't it great with Black Swan. We are going to

:18:40. > :18:43.talk about them, that's the power you have. They're doing the jive. I

:18:43. > :18:49.said yesterday the Charleston, well done everybody who spotted I was

:18:49. > :18:54.wrong. They're wearing watching outfits. Watching shoes. She is in

:18:54. > :18:58.her spats. Doing pin-striped suits. What do you reckon, how do you

:18:59. > :19:02.think they're going to get on with the jive? It looks great from her.

:19:02. > :19:07.If this is training, then I think we are in for a treat on Saturday

:19:07. > :19:10.night. We really are. Very good, I think. I am going to say this

:19:10. > :19:14.publicly, the performance on Saturday was undermarked. The way

:19:14. > :19:17.they combined the ballet and the dance, the American smooth, it was

:19:17. > :19:20.fantastic. I know they were saying you weren't in hold enough or

:19:20. > :19:23.whatever the rules were, but like Karen said at the beginning of the

:19:23. > :19:30.week, there's a lot of show dances at the moment and I thought Holly's

:19:30. > :19:39.dance on Saturday was amazing. agree. I sat next to her boyfriend,

:19:39. > :19:45.you know, he is very rich. It's not about the size of a man's

:19:45. > :19:55.wallet, Biggins. Sorry, darling, what's next? Can you come every

:19:55. > :19:59.

:19:59. > :20:04.week, big Biggins? Russell and Flavia doing the paso this week. Do

:20:04. > :20:07.you know Russell? I do know Russell and I love him to death. He is

:20:07. > :20:12.outrageous. The winks I got on Saturday in the audience, every

:20:12. > :20:17.time he looked at me he went... It was fabulous. What is great is, as

:20:17. > :20:20.you were saying, is the enthusiasm. He goes for it in a very big way.

:20:20. > :20:26.Thank you so much. Quick prediction from you, who is going to lift the

:20:26. > :20:34.trophy? Oh, my goodness, I think Jason is incredible. Jason as well.

:20:34. > :20:38.If she worked harder, Chelsee. couple of minutes I will be in the

:20:38. > :20:42.studio with Robbie and Ola, but first tomorrow marks the halfway

:20:42. > :20:44.point of the competition and for our celebrities it's been an

:20:44. > :20:49.intensive period of training but it's brought them all closer

:20:49. > :20:56.together. My relationship with Robin is

:20:56. > :20:59.delightful. We settled into a really nice teacher-pupil

:20:59. > :21:03.relationship where we can laugh a lot but we can also get the work

:21:03. > :21:07.done. Natalie's been a good person to work with. She's been very good

:21:07. > :21:12.at getting me feeling comfortable, where I can go out and perform.

:21:12. > :21:16.100% credit to her for getting me this far. We get on so well. I

:21:16. > :21:21.absolutely adore him. When this experience is over I am going to

:21:21. > :21:26.miss Pasha so much. He brings the fun out in me. Our friendship has

:21:26. > :21:29.grown from being teacher and student, to now being quite good

:21:29. > :21:33.mates. We have a little little growl at each other if we need to,

:21:33. > :21:37.but we get the job done. relationship with Flavia is a very

:21:37. > :21:43.special relationship. We are there for each other. To make Flavia

:21:43. > :21:46.proud is an inate thing, like I would want to make family and

:21:46. > :21:50.friends proud. James can be fiery and outspoken, whereas I am

:21:50. > :21:55.completely the opposite. I think we balance each other well. It makes

:21:55. > :22:04.it the perfect relationship. I have a lot of respect for Kristina. You

:22:04. > :22:09.can't help but have a bond. She's taught me to have faith in myself.
