0:09:44 > 0:09:47at the Barclays Center,

0:09:47 > 0:09:50promoting Foxwoods Resorts.

0:09:50 > 0:09:52Here we go, brand guidelines.

0:09:52 > 0:09:57And our war room is also the suite that we will be throwing our party.

0:09:57 > 0:10:01We just need to find a cohesive theme.

0:10:01 > 0:10:03This is not an easy task.

0:10:03 > 0:10:06- Hello.- Hello.- Hello, hi.

0:10:06 > 0:10:08Hey. Marilu, hi, I'm Scott Butera.

0:10:08 > 0:10:11The superstar of the Trump team.

0:10:11 > 0:10:12How are you?

0:10:12 > 0:10:15'We have to meet with the CEO of Foxwoods, Scott Butera,'

0:10:15 > 0:10:18and also the chairman of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe,

0:10:18 > 0:10:21Rodney Butler.

0:10:21 > 0:10:23You know, Foxwoods is an amazing place.

0:10:23 > 0:10:25It's one of the largest resorts in the world.

0:10:25 > 0:10:27It's almost seven million square feet,

0:10:27 > 0:10:29and we literally have something for everyone.

0:10:29 > 0:10:33In these executive meetings, you learn so much.

0:10:33 > 0:10:36All you have to do is listen and they tell you exactly

0:10:36 > 0:10:38what you need to do in the task.

0:10:38 > 0:10:41Yeah, our goal is to have something that really represents our resort.

0:10:41 > 0:10:44- Yeah, yeah.- At the core, it's all about great entertainment.

0:10:44 > 0:10:47Right. So you want this to be like a suite that somebody

0:10:47 > 0:10:49comes to and says, "I've gotta go stay here."

0:10:49 > 0:10:50- Exactly.- Absolutely.

0:10:50 > 0:10:53How did you pick the five characters? I know it's cards.

0:10:53 > 0:10:57Yeah, we have a very diverse customer base at Foxwoods,

0:10:57 > 0:11:00and we think the characters kind of represent each one.

0:11:01 > 0:11:04They have these five great characters at Foxwoods Resorts

0:11:04 > 0:11:07and they've named them Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Joker.

0:11:07 > 0:11:11The Ace is somebody who's, you know, very disciplined and focused

0:11:11 > 0:11:12and calm, cool and collected.

0:11:12 > 0:11:16You have the King, who's very majestic and is very distinguished.

0:11:16 > 0:11:17Mm-hm.

0:11:17 > 0:11:19The two teams were supposed to take one of those characters

0:11:19 > 0:11:21and base their suite on it.

0:11:23 > 0:11:25And then we have what we call Jokers

0:11:25 > 0:11:28and, basically, they're also very adventurous and fun,

0:11:28 > 0:11:30but very youthful and very contemporary.

0:11:30 > 0:11:33Do you have a colour scheme at all at Foxwoods?

0:11:33 > 0:11:35Foxwoods has the logo and maybe, Rodney, you can speak to that,

0:11:35 > 0:11:37because it represents the Mashantucket Tribe,

0:11:37 > 0:11:38which is our owner.

0:11:38 > 0:11:41So it's owned, proudly, by my family,

0:11:41 > 0:11:43the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation,

0:11:43 > 0:11:46and so we also have very subtle touches of Native American heritage

0:11:46 > 0:11:48and culture throughout the resort as well.

0:11:48 > 0:11:50So, as you walk along the concourse,

0:11:50 > 0:11:53we'll have some Native flute music playing in different areas.

0:11:53 > 0:11:55We do have a museum kiosk

0:11:55 > 0:11:57that tells a little bit about the tribal history

0:11:57 > 0:11:58and highlight some of the culture.

0:11:58 > 0:12:00'I think, for this task,

0:12:00 > 0:12:05'the smallest of smallest details are key.'

0:12:05 > 0:12:09We want to make sure we really encompass and really get

0:12:09 > 0:12:14the vibe and the feel and the essence of Foxwoods.

0:12:14 > 0:12:17- I hope we do you proud. - All right, good luck to you.

0:12:17 > 0:12:19- Thank you so very much.- Thank you.

0:12:19 > 0:12:23The King is, "Distinguished, aspirational, gracious,

0:12:23 > 0:12:26"gentlemanly, intelligent and mature."

0:12:26 > 0:12:30The Joker is, "Fun, adventurous, youthful, hip, entertaining,

0:12:30 > 0:12:31"contemporary."

0:12:31 > 0:12:33I bet you Penn is going to pick Joker.

0:12:33 > 0:12:36- Yeah.- I'm just looking at - to create an experience,

0:12:36 > 0:12:38- it's easier to use this.- Let's see.

0:12:38 > 0:12:41I like King, cos you can treat everybody special.

0:12:41 > 0:12:44Trace, which of the characters do you feel that you're

0:12:44 > 0:12:45connected to more?

0:12:45 > 0:12:49- I say you go for Ace or Joker. - We have to figure this out.

0:12:49 > 0:12:51'I was trying to make a decision.

0:12:51 > 0:12:54'The Ace had certain advantages, the Joker, of course,

0:12:54 > 0:12:58'and the King was definitely one of the more visual, to me, characters.'

0:12:58 > 0:13:00I just want to make a strategic move

0:13:00 > 0:13:02to do the best that I can.

0:13:02 > 0:13:05We need to have an A choice and a B choice.

0:13:05 > 0:13:07Yeah, exactly.

0:13:07 > 0:13:10It's about brand messaging and overall party atmosphere.

0:13:10 > 0:13:14It's all about Foxwood and it's all about King, Ace, Jack, Queen

0:13:14 > 0:13:16or Joker.

0:13:16 > 0:13:17Ooh, ooh.

0:13:17 > 0:13:19Ooh, ooh!

0:13:19 > 0:13:21"The Joker never turns down a chance to dance."

0:13:21 > 0:13:24- OK. Done. That's our theme.- OK.

0:13:24 > 0:13:26I wanted either Joker or Queen.

0:13:26 > 0:13:28I know more jokers. The number of queens I know,

0:13:28 > 0:13:30probably three dozen.

0:13:30 > 0:13:32Number of jokers I know - hundreds.

0:13:32 > 0:13:35- I will get Lisa Lampanelli. - I like that idea.

0:13:35 > 0:13:37You want Teller? Cos Penn and Teller also headlined at Foxwoods.

0:13:37 > 0:13:39I like... Yes, I want them all.

0:13:39 > 0:13:43I think that having the comics - perfect.

0:13:43 > 0:13:45'I was really hoping we would get Joker,

0:13:45 > 0:13:48'because now Joker is really playing out'

0:13:48 > 0:13:51to be a really good theme for us.

0:13:51 > 0:13:53Look through here, this website, for me while I'm gone

0:13:53 > 0:13:55and see if there's any furniture

0:13:55 > 0:13:57that looks like it could work for us.

0:13:57 > 0:14:00'But it is not a slam-dunk,'

0:14:00 > 0:14:03because I have to go negotiate with Marilu.

0:14:03 > 0:14:05And so I have second choices and a third choice,

0:14:05 > 0:14:09but I just have to go negotiate, we'll see.

0:14:09 > 0:14:11- OK, here goes.- OK! - Once, twice, twice.

0:14:11 > 0:14:13All right. How do we do it?

0:14:13 > 0:14:15Well, let's just say what we first want.

0:14:15 > 0:14:18- BOTH:- One, two, three...

0:14:18 > 0:14:19- BOTH:- Oh!- OK, we're good.

0:14:19 > 0:14:22- OK, we're good.- Done.- Done.- Done.

0:14:22 > 0:14:25'We did, like, a rock, paper, scissor, it was pretty good.'

0:14:25 > 0:14:29And we showed our cards and she had King

0:14:29 > 0:14:33and I put out the Joker, so we were done.

0:14:33 > 0:14:35OK, that was so easy. They took the Joker, of course, we knew it.

0:14:35 > 0:14:37- Of course.- But that's fine.

0:14:37 > 0:14:38So we're doing the King.

0:14:38 > 0:14:41'We knew Lisa was going to take the Joker, so I thought,'

0:14:41 > 0:14:43"Instead of trying to thwart them,

0:14:43 > 0:14:47"why don't we try to just pick the one that we like the most?"

0:14:47 > 0:14:49And I realised that King was the colour

0:14:49 > 0:14:51of my Alzheimer's Association.

0:14:51 > 0:14:54So I thought, "OK, it's a sign from God." That was it.

0:14:54 > 0:14:57I'm going to take care of mainly the decorations,

0:14:57 > 0:15:00and I'll pick the food. I'm putting you guys in charge of entertainment.

0:15:00 > 0:15:01Yeah, let's work on the entertainment.

0:15:01 > 0:15:03The prop stuff is going to be easy.

0:15:03 > 0:15:06No, I'm going to start doing that because I'm going to get...

0:15:06 > 0:15:08- This is the best traffic time. - I got you.

0:15:08 > 0:15:11- That's why I'm trying to keep you on track.- I'm always on track.

0:15:11 > 0:15:13No, I'm just trying to, you know...

0:15:13 > 0:15:15'Me and Marilu work totally different.'

0:15:15 > 0:15:17If you want to throw a party,

0:15:17 > 0:15:21you find out what your entertainment is going to be

0:15:21 > 0:15:23before you start trying to decorate the place.

0:15:23 > 0:15:25Whenever I'm PM, I try to knock out the hardest thing first,

0:15:25 > 0:15:28I get our meat and potatoes done first.

0:15:28 > 0:15:30And then I fix the side vegetables.

0:15:30 > 0:15:33We're decorating a suite at the Barclays Center,

0:15:33 > 0:15:35and we're going with a King theme.

0:15:35 > 0:15:38A lot of purple, royalty, beautiful, thrones.

0:15:38 > 0:15:42And I want to get something that looks the most royal,

0:15:42 > 0:15:44in terms of, like, a beautiful mirror.

0:15:44 > 0:15:46What the hell are you...?

0:15:46 > 0:15:50- Hell are you getting? - And then... I'm getting a mirror.

0:15:50 > 0:15:52- OK.- I am.- Where are you going to put a mirror?

0:15:52 > 0:15:54I'm going to put a mirror in here.

0:15:54 > 0:15:59- I want one. You guys, you take care of some of the stuff.- OK, OK.

0:15:59 > 0:16:02'Her suite is the King Suite, all right.'

0:16:02 > 0:16:06But do you really think that that means we're supposed to have

0:16:06 > 0:16:09ladies-in-waiting and crowns?

0:16:09 > 0:16:12I don't know what the right thing to do is,

0:16:12 > 0:16:15but I'm pretty sure that ain't it.

0:16:15 > 0:16:19I want a beautiful mirror because a King wants to look at himself.

0:16:30 > 0:16:33Fun, adventurous, youthful, hip, entertaining, contemporary.

0:16:33 > 0:16:35Those are the words of the Joker.

0:16:35 > 0:16:38I think we say, "Jokers at Foxwoods,"

0:16:38 > 0:16:43and we have Lisa Lampanelli and Penn and Teller on a nice little poster.

0:16:43 > 0:16:47The task this week is design a Foxwoods themed suite

0:16:47 > 0:16:48at the Barclays Center,

0:16:48 > 0:16:51and to host a party that is entertaining

0:16:51 > 0:16:52and talks about Foxwoods.

0:16:52 > 0:16:55And in decorating, I need pictures, I'd need furniture.

0:16:55 > 0:16:58I want a bar. I'm getting a great caterer, too.

0:16:58 > 0:17:02- Would you rather have a hip caterer? - Yeah. I mean, I think so.

0:17:02 > 0:17:06OK, what I'm working on, just so you know, David Burke,

0:17:06 > 0:17:09the celebrity chef. He has a restaurant up at Foxwoods.

0:17:09 > 0:17:13- David Burke is really in line with jokers.- Oh!

0:17:13 > 0:17:17David Burke is a celebrity chef, known as "the prankster",

0:17:17 > 0:17:21"the joker of food". He has a restaurant at Foxwoods.

0:17:21 > 0:17:25I mean, he will stand up and talk about his food and entertain.

0:17:25 > 0:17:28You know, they are the Pequot Indian tribe.

0:17:28 > 0:17:30And when you go to Foxwoods,

0:17:30 > 0:17:35they do have a section of history and information on the tribe.

0:17:35 > 0:17:39- You want some sort of background music?- I'd like music...

0:17:39 > 0:17:43- of some kind, if we can get it.- OK. - Let's incorporate that in some way.

0:17:43 > 0:17:44I'll find something.

0:17:46 > 0:17:50One of the things that Rodney told us was they liked to have

0:17:50 > 0:17:54a little bit of Native American flute music behind everything

0:17:54 > 0:17:56at their resort.

0:17:56 > 0:17:59So I figured, "Yeah, you tell me you want Native American flute music,

0:17:59 > 0:18:01"we get Native American flute music."

0:18:01 > 0:18:05I have found an actual Native American flautist.

0:18:05 > 0:18:06How do you do this?!

0:18:06 > 0:18:11She loves me, but she cannot travel three hours, so she said no.

0:18:11 > 0:18:14'We had a Mashantucket Pequot flautist.

0:18:14 > 0:18:17'She was three hours away, and we couldn't get her.

0:18:17 > 0:18:20'We have to incorporate the tribe.

0:18:20 > 0:18:23'That's one thing I took away from the meeting with the executives,'

0:18:23 > 0:18:27- so fingers crossed. - Foxwoods is the Pequot tribe.

0:18:32 > 0:18:36If she can think a little bit about Pequot flute music or that style,

0:18:36 > 0:18:38if she can do that, that would be great.

0:18:38 > 0:18:40I've found another flute player.

0:18:40 > 0:18:45She's Native American - she's not Mashantucket Pequot.

0:18:45 > 0:18:48If the thing is from a slightly different tribe,

0:18:48 > 0:18:50- we are dead in the water. - Dead in the water.

0:18:50 > 0:18:53'We have to be very careful to not offend,'

0:18:53 > 0:18:56because it's important to show respect to the tribal nations,

0:18:56 > 0:18:57so we're trying to do that.

0:18:57 > 0:19:01Um... Look at that.

0:19:01 > 0:19:04I have a professional flautist and she is trying right now

0:19:04 > 0:19:08to learn Pequot music, she's trying to get music for that.

0:19:08 > 0:19:09OK, you know what?

0:19:09 > 0:19:13- I love you so much. - Remember that in the boardroom.

0:19:13 > 0:19:16Penn and I complement each other,

0:19:16 > 0:19:17where the other lacks.

0:19:17 > 0:19:20He has connections up the wazoo.

0:19:20 > 0:19:25On the other hand, I have an eye for decorating, I'm creative.

0:19:25 > 0:19:27We're going to get it all done.

0:19:27 > 0:19:30- Do you know what I've got for you? - What?- Mechanical dog.

0:19:30 > 0:19:33HE BARKS

0:19:33 > 0:19:34Forget I said it.

0:19:34 > 0:19:36HE BARKS

0:19:36 > 0:19:38HE LAUGHS

0:19:39 > 0:19:40HE BARKS

0:19:42 > 0:19:44HE LAUGHS

0:19:44 > 0:19:47- I can definitely get a massage therapist.- No.

0:19:47 > 0:19:49Complain all you want, Trace, I don't care.

0:19:49 > 0:19:51What I really want you guys to focus on, the entertainment.

0:19:51 > 0:19:55I've got a connect with the Brooklyn Nets.

0:19:55 > 0:19:58So if I can try and get some of the players to show up...

0:19:58 > 0:20:01I think we have to tie it in with our entertainment.

0:20:01 > 0:20:03No, I'm just trying to, you know...

0:20:03 > 0:20:05'I'm trying to help out Marilu as much as I can.

0:20:05 > 0:20:07'I just feel like my hands are tied.'

0:20:07 > 0:20:10You should think I might be someone you kind of use more

0:20:10 > 0:20:13into planning the party.

0:20:13 > 0:20:15- I think I'm one of the best party mother- BLEEP- on the planet.

0:20:16 > 0:20:19Do I need to say that in my Rick James voice?

0:20:19 > 0:20:21I'd love to have anything that reminds you of royalty,

0:20:21 > 0:20:24anything that a King would love to be watching.

0:20:24 > 0:20:27Whether it is a mandolin player. Maybe we can find a mime.

0:20:27 > 0:20:28I'm trying to get that, as well.

0:20:28 > 0:20:33And anything else you guys can think of that would be fit for a King.

0:20:33 > 0:20:38- Look, I haven't stopped since I've sat down here.- I know that.

0:20:38 > 0:20:42I've got a line on Hunter Hayes, and he's great.

0:20:42 > 0:20:45He just won New Artist of the Year at the CMA Awards.

0:20:45 > 0:20:48'Hunter Hayes was touring with Carrie Underwood.'

0:20:48 > 0:20:53He's in town, so come on by, man, please.

0:20:53 > 0:20:55I see how you operate now.

0:20:55 > 0:20:57- Who?- You.- What?

0:20:57 > 0:21:00You get real curmudgeonly until you know exactly what you want to do,

0:21:00 > 0:21:03and then you get very enthusiastic and helpful.

0:21:05 > 0:21:07That's what I'm known for.

0:21:07 > 0:21:09Being very high-energy.

0:21:09 > 0:21:10SHE LAUGHS

0:21:37 > 0:21:39the last couple of tasks.

0:21:39 > 0:21:42He hasn't been himself, so I don't know what's happened to Trace,

0:25:24 > 0:25:27OK, I really need you guys to think about how we're going to add

0:25:27 > 0:25:31to this, because this is our last chance to have something else

0:31:06 > 0:31:09So, how's it working with these two guys?

0:31:09 > 0:31:12You know, when you get down to two or three people on a team,

0:31:12 > 0:31:15it's a lot going on. How's that working out with all of y'all?

0:31:15 > 0:31:18- It's tough right now. - They're in charge of entertainment

0:31:30 > 0:31:34- Beyond that, I don't know. - That's the problem.

0:31:34 > 0:31:36They're having trouble finding entertainment.

0:31:36 > 0:31:37If they don't have that,

0:31:37 > 0:31:40they're at a serious deficit against the other team.

0:31:58 > 0:32:00have him welcome everybody, pouring shots.

0:32:00 > 0:32:01They're tired, so I don't know

0:32:01 > 0:32:03if they're thinking those kind of things or not.

0:32:03 > 0:32:05If I was in there, that's what I would be pushing for.

0:32:05 > 0:32:09I like that, though. He said King Jon. Do we have a king costume?

0:32:09 > 0:32:11Remember, everybody thought I was being so silly

0:32:11 > 0:32:13about kings and stuff like that?

0:32:24 > 0:32:27'loose ends all over the place.

0:32:27 > 0:32:29'The Foxwoods people, they've seen it all.'

0:32:29 > 0:32:31They want something to go, boom, right? Like a firework show.

0:32:35 > 0:32:37Good luck to you all. Knock it out. See you.

0:32:37 > 0:32:41What do you think about that hint John had

0:32:41 > 0:32:44about me being the king and the chalice?

0:32:44 > 0:32:47I just worry that we don't have enough king stuff.

0:32:49 > 0:32:51- you know what I'm saying?- I know.

0:32:58 > 0:32:59There is a chance, Lisa,

0:32:59 > 0:33:02no kidding, that we will not be able to get Teller.

0:33:02 > 0:33:05He's in the air, his wheels are up already,

0:33:05 > 0:33:07- but they may just not let him land. - I know.

0:33:07 > 0:33:12- He tried... He went to San Francisco to fly to Philly.- Unbelievable.

0:33:12 > 0:33:14'There's still so much riding on tomorrow morning,'

0:33:18 > 0:33:20Who knows if David Burke will show up?

0:33:20 > 0:33:23Who knows if Lisa Lampanelli will show up?

0:33:23 > 0:33:25We have them. Will they make it?

0:33:25 > 0:33:27We have to think about worst-case scenario.

0:33:27 > 0:33:30Is there any way I can look like Teller? Or dress up like Teller?

0:33:30 > 0:33:32We could do a Penn and Teller bit.

0:33:32 > 0:33:35- I think we should have that as a backup.- You might get hurt a little.

0:33:35 > 0:33:41- Really? Will it disfigure me?- Well, temporarily.- Where?- Your lips.

0:33:41 > 0:33:44My lips aren't real! I'm perfect for it.

0:33:44 > 0:33:47- Does that make it better or worse? - It makes it better.- OK.

0:33:47 > 0:33:50I can juggle three apples and I can feed you one.

0:33:50 > 0:33:53It means if you move your head forward,

0:33:53 > 0:33:55I will punch you in the face with an apple.

0:33:55 > 0:33:57SHE LAUGHS

0:33:57 > 0:34:00'We do have a plan B. If Teller doesn't get here,'

0:34:00 > 0:34:05I will do the juggling apple trick with Penn.

0:34:05 > 0:34:08My lips are bionic, so if I do get punched in the mouth,

0:34:08 > 0:34:11is it really a big deal or will they just kind of get bigger,

0:34:11 > 0:34:15and then that's fine? You know, all this is going through my head.

0:34:15 > 0:34:16SHE LAUGHS

0:34:16 > 0:34:20So I should wear a black suit, just in case I need to look like him?

0:34:20 > 0:34:22I don't think you'll look like him.

0:34:22 > 0:34:26He's an ugly little troll, and you're a beautiful woman. OK.

0:34:26 > 0:34:28- SHE LAUGHS - Thanks.

0:35:04 > 0:35:06This kid's hot, man.

0:35:06 > 0:35:08He's got chops.

0:35:08 > 0:35:10I got it.

0:35:29 > 0:35:30King Jizzle.

0:35:32 > 0:35:36Marilu ordered some kingly-looking chairs,

0:35:36 > 0:35:39some king-like capes, sceptres,

0:35:39 > 0:35:41crowns,

0:35:41 > 0:35:44and I don't know how the hell she's going to use all this stuff

0:35:44 > 0:35:45and how it's getting put together,

0:35:45 > 0:35:49cos this is in Marilu's hands, it's all in her head.

0:35:49 > 0:35:52And I'm not trying to get up in there, I might not come out.

0:35:52 > 0:35:56- Can we go now, teacher? Can we get out of detention now?- Finally.

0:36:08 > 0:36:12- All right. Um...- She's crazy. - Let me just...- Who?

0:36:12 > 0:36:16She's not, like, Gary Busey crazy, but...

0:36:18 > 0:36:21She's a little... She's got a lot going on.

0:36:21 > 0:36:24If I had all that stuff stuck in my memory that she has...

0:50:35 > 0:50:38And I go, "Were you in the same room with us?"

0:50:50 > 0:50:52Not to be confused with the deaf bitch

0:50:52 > 0:50:55from my year at Celebrity Apprentice, Lou Ferrigno.

0:50:55 > 0:50:59Here's my impression of Lou Ferrigno in every single boardroom.

0:50:59 > 0:51:04"Mr Trump, I...gave...110%."

0:51:04 > 0:51:05Am I right?!

0:51:05 > 0:51:09110%? Where'd he lose his hearing, in math class?

0:51:09 > 0:51:14This is a preview of my show at the Foxwoods, so you can laugh.

0:51:14 > 0:51:18'I was worried Lisa Lampanelli was shocking the Foxwoods people,

0:51:18 > 0:51:21'so there is the chance'

0:51:21 > 0:51:24that they're going to say this was inappropriate comedy for a suite.

0:51:24 > 0:51:28"Lisa...I need the front seat."

0:51:28 > 0:51:32And I'd be like, "I have no idea what you just said."

0:51:32 > 0:51:35'But that's Lisa Lampanelli.'

0:51:35 > 0:51:37I love her.

0:51:37 > 0:51:39I'm here to support Penn and sort of Lisa.

0:51:39 > 0:51:41LAUGHTER

0:51:41 > 0:51:45I like Lisa but she's a little thin even for my taste at this point.

0:51:45 > 0:51:47I can fart and blow her out of the room.

0:51:57 > 0:52:01All right, guys, based on the criteria, you had creativity,

0:52:01 > 0:52:04you had brand messaging and then the overall party atmosphere.

0:52:04 > 0:52:06What do you think?

0:52:06 > 0:52:08Well, I thought both teams did a good job with brand integration.

0:52:08 > 0:52:11When we think about branding, it's really,

0:52:11 > 0:52:14"What is it about this place that makes me think about Foxwoods?

0:52:14 > 0:52:17"Can I create an experience that's truly different?"

0:52:17 > 0:52:20First we saw Marilu's team, and you go in there and you clearly

0:52:20 > 0:52:22get the feeling you're in a King's suite.

0:52:22 > 0:52:26There was a great display of luxury in terms of the food product.

0:52:26 > 0:52:30The King elements were, you know, different than what you might see

0:52:30 > 0:52:33in Foxwoods but I thought there was a lot of creativity.

0:52:33 > 0:52:36The massage chair was something I thought was really neat,

0:52:36 > 0:52:39and if you're a customer that's an unexpected creative wow,

0:52:39 > 0:52:41so I thought that played very well.

0:52:41 > 0:52:45When you think about the King character and what it represents,

0:52:45 > 0:52:48they went above and beyond and made it more theatrical,

0:52:48 > 0:52:50you know, the chess table and the time and space

0:52:50 > 0:52:53it took out of the suite itself, it went the other direction.

0:52:53 > 0:52:55If you're asking somebody to sit down and learn chess

0:52:55 > 0:52:57in the middle of a basketball game in an arena

0:52:57 > 0:52:59whenever everybody's supposed to have fun,

0:52:59 > 0:53:01I think that might be a little bit much.

0:53:01 > 0:53:05- How did Lisa's team do with it?- I thought Lisa's team did a great job

0:53:05 > 0:53:06with the Joker theme.

0:53:06 > 0:53:09I thought they were incredibly creative in certain elements.

0:53:09 > 0:53:12For example, they had David Burke, who's one of our signature chefs,

0:53:12 > 0:53:14do the food and he's a great chef,

0:53:14 > 0:53:15but very much a joker in his own regard.

0:53:15 > 0:53:18So, you know, I thought that played very well.

0:53:18 > 0:53:20What about the party atmosphere?

0:53:20 > 0:53:21When I first walked in the Joker Suite

0:53:21 > 0:53:23they had a flutist as the background,

0:53:23 > 0:53:26which was supposed to put to the Native American culture,

0:53:26 > 0:53:28and my initial response was,

0:53:28 > 0:53:30"Jeez, that's different, I don't know how that's gonna work."

0:53:30 > 0:53:32It was a little disjointed.

0:53:32 > 0:53:35Whereas in Marilu's suite they had tremendous country entertainment.

0:53:35 > 0:53:38We both think Hunter's going to be the next greatest thing

0:53:38 > 0:53:40on the planet Earth.

0:53:40 > 0:53:43We have a lot of country music fans and having Hunter come in

0:53:43 > 0:53:45was a broad reach across our demographic,

0:53:45 > 0:53:47so that was a really nice touch.

0:53:47 > 0:53:49We have a little bit of a tough call.

0:53:49 > 0:53:51If you had to pick one of the teams to win,

0:53:51 > 0:53:53who do you think that would be?

0:53:55 > 0:53:59Well, I thought both sides did a great job. It really was a toss-up.

0:53:59 > 0:54:01Each suite was very fun,

0:54:01 > 0:54:04had great entertainment and could be an enjoyable experience.

0:54:04 > 0:54:08But based on party atmosphere, creativity and branding,

0:54:08 > 0:54:10we really thought the winner was...

0:54:36 > 0:54:41Lisa, what was better, your suite or your party?

0:54:41 > 0:54:42SHE EXHALES

0:54:44 > 0:54:46Gosh. The party.

0:54:46 > 0:54:49- And the suite. I liked both.- Why?

0:54:49 > 0:54:53Because we had headliners.

0:54:53 > 0:54:56We had Penn and Teller.

0:54:56 > 0:54:58It's a hard get.

0:54:58 > 0:55:02We had Lisa Lampanelli.

0:55:02 > 0:55:04- And we had David Burke. - That's pretty good.

0:55:04 > 0:55:06- Marilu, that sounds pretty good. - That sounds very good.

0:55:06 > 0:55:08Did you have anyone?

0:55:08 > 0:55:13We had Hunter Hayes, who is the New Male Vocalist for the CMA awards,

0:55:13 > 0:55:17we had the Countess from Real Housewives Of New York,

0:55:17 > 0:55:22we also had a chess master who was teaching chess

0:55:22 > 0:55:24because we figured we had the King.

0:55:24 > 0:55:27How did that star power compare to their star power?

0:55:27 > 0:55:29You know, you can't compete with the star power of Penn and Teller.

0:55:29 > 0:55:32- Yes, pretty good, right?- Yes.- It's pretty good. It's impressive.- Yes.

0:55:32 > 0:55:34So far so bad, right?

0:55:35 > 0:55:38- Well...- I mean, you know, if you're going by that.- Right.

0:55:38 > 0:55:40What do you think of your suite?

0:55:40 > 0:55:44Um, you know, we chose King for a few different reasons,

0:55:44 > 0:55:46and I liked, kind of, the range in terms of...

0:55:46 > 0:55:48Do you think King has an advantage?

0:55:48 > 0:55:50I think they all have their pluses and minuses.

0:55:50 > 0:55:52No, but somehow, as a suite, I like the name King better

0:55:52 > 0:55:54- than I like the name Joker. - The King Suite, yeah, for sure.

0:55:54 > 0:55:57- Well, cos you're a king. - If you're staying in a suite,

0:55:57 > 0:55:59you want to have the name King, so you have an advantage there.

0:55:59 > 0:56:02- Yes, and also...- So now you're even. - ..I felt connected to it

0:56:02 > 0:56:05because the colour was purple, and that's my Alzheimer's colour,

0:56:05 > 0:56:08- so I felt like...- Well, that's good. Lil Jon, what do you think?

0:56:08 > 0:56:12I think we did good. I liked the party better.

0:56:12 > 0:56:13You liked the party better than the suite?

0:56:13 > 0:56:16Yeah, because it was a really good atmosphere

0:56:16 > 0:56:19and the way Marilu staged the suite,

0:56:19 > 0:56:22- even the food was a part of the look of the suite.- Incredible.

0:56:22 > 0:56:26- And Hunter did an amazing job. - Good. He's supposed to be very good.

0:56:26 > 0:56:28He had the room just...

0:56:28 > 0:56:31Everybody was just applauding every time he performed.

0:56:31 > 0:56:34How was Marilu as a project manager, Lil Jon?

0:56:34 > 0:56:36It was interesting,

0:56:36 > 0:56:40and, you know, everybody is different - I say that to start off.

0:56:40 > 0:56:42Everybody has different personalities

0:56:42 > 0:56:48and Marilu's personality, it's like the hamster is on the wheel

0:56:48 > 0:56:50and he's running so fast his heart is about to explode.

0:56:50 > 0:56:52Is she a good leader?

0:56:52 > 0:56:54She's a good leader, but she just likes to do a lot.

0:56:54 > 0:56:56- She likes to do most of the work. - Well, that's OK.

0:56:56 > 0:56:59- And then she'll tell us what she wants.- So you're sort of hands-on?

0:56:59 > 0:57:01- Me?- Yeah.

0:57:01 > 0:57:02You know, I tend to see

0:57:02 > 0:57:04what people's strengths and weaknesses are

0:57:04 > 0:57:06and because I'm always, like, moving forward...

0:57:06 > 0:57:08What is Lil Jon's weakness?

0:57:08 > 0:57:12I... Lil Jon's weakness, OK, I would say that he...

0:57:12 > 0:57:15- I didn't trust him in some ways to do kind of a visual thing.- Why?

0:57:15 > 0:57:17..and I wanted to put him in charge of...

0:57:17 > 0:57:19I think he's a visual person, actually. Why didn't you trust him?

0:57:19 > 0:57:21Yes. Oh, no, as a director he has been unbelievable.

0:57:21 > 0:57:22Why didn't you trust him?

0:57:22 > 0:57:25Um, you know, I think I wanted him, I wanted both of them,

0:57:25 > 0:57:28to work more on the entertainment, the wow factor,

0:57:28 > 0:57:30the experience, those kinds of things,

0:57:30 > 0:57:34- and I felt like, you know, I wanted to help them.- Did they leave you?

0:57:34 > 0:57:37They didn't leave me, but I felt like the substitute teacher.

0:57:37 > 0:57:39Remember the word abandoned from last week?

0:57:39 > 0:57:41- Abandoned, did they abandon you? - No, I felt like...

0:57:41 > 0:57:44I even said to them, I feel like the substitute teacher

0:57:44 > 0:57:46that's now running the detention room.

0:57:46 > 0:57:49Who did better between Lil Jon and Trace, would you say?

0:57:49 > 0:57:53You know, I love Trace, Trace is one of my favourite people ever...

0:57:53 > 0:57:55- And Lil Jon's not? - No, now he is, I adore him -

0:57:55 > 0:57:58but Trace was having a bad day yesterday.

0:57:58 > 0:58:02He was very curmudgeonly he was very dropped out most of the day.

0:58:02 > 0:58:05You know what?

0:58:05 > 0:58:07After I've had a chance to look back over this,

0:58:07 > 0:58:10I think we messed up right from Jump Street.

0:58:10 > 0:58:13I don't know why I didn't think of this before,

0:58:13 > 0:58:15but we should have fought for Joker.

0:58:15 > 0:58:17We should have fought for it.

0:58:17 > 0:58:20I don't think that's necessarily going to be the difference.

0:58:20 > 0:58:22- Well, I'm just saying... - I actually think King is a better.

0:58:22 > 0:58:24- I like King better. - It's better.- Well...

0:58:24 > 0:58:26You don't feel good about your result?

0:58:26 > 0:58:27I think we would have...

0:58:27 > 0:58:31If we could have taken Joker out of Penn's hands,

0:58:31 > 0:58:33it probably wouldn't have hurt us.

0:58:33 > 0:58:35- I think Joker for Penn may be better.- Yes, I do too.

0:58:35 > 0:58:38That's what I'm saying, it would have been a strategic move.

0:58:38 > 0:58:39I think for a lot of people, no,

0:58:39 > 0:58:42but for Penn, being the great talent at what he does, I think Joker.

0:58:42 > 0:58:45Penn, is that a better theme for you, Joker?

0:58:45 > 0:58:49I thought so because we had entertainers from Foxwoods,

0:58:49 > 0:58:53and we also had David Burke who, if you've got a celebrity chef...

0:58:53 > 0:58:55- Great.- ..he is the prankster.

0:58:55 > 0:58:58Maybe whimsical is a better word, we cheated it towards Joker.

0:58:58 > 0:59:01- You had a lot of good people, Lisa, didn't you?- David Burke...

0:59:01 > 0:59:03We sure did.

0:59:03 > 0:59:05When you ask David Burke to come and give you a little help...

0:59:05 > 0:59:09- David is terrific.- ..he doesn't do that, he gives you a lot of help.

0:59:09 > 0:59:11- JOHN:- I mean, I've got to say,

0:59:11 > 0:59:15not in a million years would I have let Penn have Joker.

0:59:15 > 0:59:16Ever.

0:59:16 > 0:59:19- Yes.- If you're looking at it like a chess match...

0:59:19 > 0:59:20- Right.- ..which is what this is at this point,

0:59:20 > 0:59:23you don't give the man that piece.

0:59:23 > 0:59:24- Mm-hm.- Just don't let him have it.

0:59:24 > 0:59:26If you've got to fight tooth and nail,

0:59:26 > 0:59:28don't let the man have that piece, you know?

0:59:28 > 0:59:31- It seems like an obvious miss. - What do you think about that, Trace?

0:59:31 > 0:59:33Do you agree?

0:59:33 > 0:59:35Yeah, that's what I say now, in hindsight,

0:59:35 > 0:59:37I just can't believe that I didn't even think about that.

0:59:37 > 0:59:39- But what's wrong with King? Tell me.- King, no, I liked it.

0:59:39 > 0:59:42I would rather have King, personally. What's wrong with King?

0:59:42 > 0:59:45Nothing, if you nail it.

0:59:46 > 0:59:50I don't hear the confidence in your voice that I normally hear.

0:59:50 > 0:59:52- Do you not feel that you nailed it? - There was just one point in the day

0:59:52 > 0:59:56where we were sitting around the table and I said, "Marilu,"

0:59:56 > 1:00:01I said, "Do you think really that crowns and jewels and stuff

1:00:01 > 1:00:03"is what they're talking about?

1:00:03 > 1:00:06"Or is it just more of a vibe, you know, kind of thing?

1:00:06 > 1:00:09"Or a level of service?

1:00:09 > 1:00:11"I mean, are we really going to go down the King road, you know?"

1:00:11 > 1:00:13Well, we could have gone even further...

1:00:13 > 1:00:15It was just set decoration, it wasn't...

1:00:15 > 1:00:17It was little things every once in a while.

1:00:17 > 1:00:21So, Trace, how did you use the King character in your suite?

1:00:21 > 1:00:24Well, we tried to make an experience

1:00:24 > 1:00:28where everybody that came in our suite was a king,

1:00:28 > 1:00:31and they got the service that we thought a king should get.

1:00:31 > 1:00:34They got the food, they got the massage,

1:00:34 > 1:00:38they got the minstrels, you know?

1:00:38 > 1:00:40- TRACE LAUGHS - Yes.

1:00:40 > 1:00:42They got to play chess if they wanted to, or watch a chess game.

1:00:42 > 1:00:45- The food was incredible. - Were you happy with it?

1:00:45 > 1:00:46I was happy with a lot of it.

1:00:46 > 1:00:47OK.

1:00:47 > 1:00:50Do you know what they call this man in rap music?

1:00:50 > 1:00:55- You know what his moniker is? - I don't.- The King of Crunk.- Oh.

1:00:55 > 1:00:57- Did you know that about him? - I didn't know that.

1:00:57 > 1:01:01But he was also supposed be doing a DJ thing and he promised...

1:01:01 > 1:01:02I mean, he was saying that

1:01:02 > 1:01:04he could have the DJ thing set up in the corner...

1:01:04 > 1:01:09All I'm getting at is, like, that word is in his moniker in rap music,

1:01:09 > 1:01:12so I kept thinking I might walk in and see the King of Crunk

1:01:12 > 1:01:14sitting there having this thing going down,

1:01:14 > 1:01:17you know, but if you didn't know that's what he was called...

1:01:17 > 1:01:19Well, it doesn't matter that I don't know, he knows that, and...

1:01:19 > 1:01:21No, but he brought it up and then...

1:01:21 > 1:01:23- He brought it up when he came in... - Right.

1:01:23 > 1:01:24..and then I started trying to get King stuff,

1:01:24 > 1:01:26- and then it was never even...- No.

1:01:26 > 1:01:29You said you were going to get the DJ equipment.

1:01:29 > 1:01:31It was something from the very beginning

1:01:31 > 1:01:33- that we talked about on our way up to the suite.- Yeah.

1:01:33 > 1:01:35- But that's not what I'm talking about.- Lil Jon, what is crunk?

1:01:35 > 1:01:38Crunk means, like, getting crazy, it means energy,

1:01:38 > 1:01:40- so to have a lot of energy. - You have a lot of energy.

1:01:40 > 1:01:41- He does have a lot of energy. - Yes, he does.

1:01:41 > 1:01:44- DON:- Part of the criteria was obviously creating

1:01:44 > 1:01:45a great party atmosphere.

1:01:45 > 1:01:48For a King, wouldn't that be a great party atmosphere?

1:01:48 > 1:01:50- I mean, when I think of parties, I think of DJs...- Yes.

1:01:50 > 1:01:51..I think of a guy like Lil Jon

1:01:51 > 1:01:54as opposed to, you know, a more relaxed vibe of having a masseuse...

1:01:54 > 1:01:57- Right.- ..going towards real royalty theme.- Right. It was like serving.

1:01:57 > 1:02:01Right. But also he's the one who got the robe and the crown

1:02:01 > 1:02:04and everything else, but he never put it on or never...

1:02:04 > 1:02:06No, because you... I'm not going to step on your toes.

1:02:06 > 1:02:09- No, come on, Jon. - If you're PM and you say, "Jon..."

1:02:09 > 1:02:11No, but in other tasks people say, "I want you..."

1:02:11 > 1:02:14We said, "Dennis, we want you to dress up."

1:02:14 > 1:02:15We said, "Lil Jon, you can be..."

1:02:15 > 1:02:19- You were the one who ordered the cape and the thing.- But you...

1:02:19 > 1:02:20At the end of the night, you said,

1:02:20 > 1:02:22"We're probably going to use this as set dressing."

1:02:22 > 1:02:25- No, no, no, that's not true at all. - That's why I didn't put it on.

1:02:25 > 1:02:27- No, that's not true at all, I remember.- Yes, you did.- No.

1:02:27 > 1:02:29Did you hear that? All of that purple stuff,

1:02:29 > 1:02:32- she said we're going to use it as... - No, that was the other purple stuff.

1:02:32 > 1:02:34- Did you hear that, Trace? - I don't know if I was privy to that.

1:02:34 > 1:02:37- She said, "We're probably going to use that."- That is not what I said.

1:02:37 > 1:02:40No, I am sorry, Lil Jon, I did not say that.

1:02:40 > 1:02:42Lil Jon, if you were me,

1:02:42 > 1:02:44who would you fire? LIL JON LAUGHS

1:02:44 > 1:02:46I know you're not going to say yourself.

1:02:46 > 1:02:47Do you say Trace...

1:02:47 > 1:02:49- Penn.- ..or Marilu? LAUGHTER

1:02:49 > 1:02:51Or Penn. PENN CHUCKLES

1:02:51 > 1:02:55- Them, both of them. - Fire anybody but your side.

1:02:55 > 1:02:56Who would you fire?

1:02:58 > 1:03:02I mean, I think it falls back on the project manager, I mean, honestly,

1:03:02 > 1:03:05and me and Trace were working all day

1:03:05 > 1:03:08trying to get everything Marilu asked us to do.

1:03:08 > 1:03:10- Yesterday?- Yes, we were. - No, yesterday...

1:03:10 > 1:03:14Come on, Trace, you have to admit you were out of it yesterday.

1:03:14 > 1:03:16- I wasn't out of it.- You were. - He was still working.- No, he was...

1:03:16 > 1:03:19- He was making calls all day!- He was not working. He was sitting there.

1:03:19 > 1:03:21We were looking both ways before we crossed the street

1:03:21 > 1:03:23every time we got out of our chair

1:03:23 > 1:03:26- because you were running through the room like, you know...- No.

1:03:26 > 1:03:27Why was Trace out of it?

1:03:27 > 1:03:29Trace was crabby all day yesterday.

1:03:29 > 1:03:32I told him so many times that he was being a curmudgeon,

1:03:32 > 1:03:34and you were just having a bad day.

1:03:34 > 1:03:37And I said, you know, "Trace, I'm understanding you now,

1:03:37 > 1:03:39"you're kind of a curmudgeon, and you hold back,

1:03:39 > 1:03:41"and you don't do much, and you complain a lot."

1:03:41 > 1:03:45Well, he never was, but it seems to be lately he is a little more.

1:03:45 > 1:03:48- The last few tasks. - What you think of that, Trace?

1:03:48 > 1:03:51- Yeah, that was what she was about to say.- The last two tasks.

1:03:51 > 1:03:54- I think the last three tasks. - Three tasks, yeah.- Why? Why, Trace?

1:03:54 > 1:03:58I didn't think we've had a really strong idea on the last three tasks.

1:03:58 > 1:03:59Even though we won one of them,

1:03:59 > 1:04:04I didn't really think that the idea was really that great.

1:04:04 > 1:04:05OK.

1:04:05 > 1:04:08So, Penn, tell me, were you happy with your team?

1:04:08 > 1:04:12- I was really happy. - Were you happy with Lisa?- Very.

1:04:12 > 1:04:15So, if you lose, would you say that maybe you should be fired

1:04:15 > 1:04:16if you're so happy?

1:04:16 > 1:04:21- You've asked me almost 20 times who should be fired...- Over the years.

1:04:21 > 1:04:23I always like your advice. Go ahead.

1:04:23 > 1:04:25..and I've answered every single time,

1:04:25 > 1:04:27including when I was project manager.

1:04:27 > 1:04:32I think that I ran everything by Lisa and she signed off on it,

1:04:32 > 1:04:36but I don't think there's much chance we're going to lose.

1:04:36 > 1:04:38I've never said that before.

1:04:38 > 1:04:40Lisa...

1:04:40 > 1:04:42how did Penn do?

1:04:42 > 1:04:45- Awesome.- And if you lose, therefore, I assume you should be fired

1:04:45 > 1:04:47because you're the project manager?

1:04:47 > 1:04:49- Well, I think... - Because awesome is a tough word.

1:04:49 > 1:04:53- You know, awesome is pretty good, right?- Well... It is.

1:04:53 > 1:04:57And I will say that I have raised a lot of money.

1:04:57 > 1:05:00I have raised the most money on the team, and...

1:05:00 > 1:05:05- How much money have you raised? - I've raised 404,000.- Very good.

1:05:05 > 1:05:09And I think I've proven myself as a very good player.

1:05:09 > 1:05:11So you would say that you should not be fired

1:05:11 > 1:05:14and Penn should be fired if your team loses?

1:05:14 > 1:05:15Oh...

1:05:17 > 1:05:19- SHE SIGHS - It's hard to say that.

1:05:19 > 1:05:20I don't like to say that, but...

1:05:20 > 1:05:23- Maybe we'll have to worry about that later.- We'll worry about that later.

1:05:23 > 1:05:26So, Penn, what was your character when you used Joker for your suite?

1:05:26 > 1:05:30- How did you use it?- We used it as "The Jokers of Foxwoods,"

1:05:30 > 1:05:34and I suggested to Lisa

1:05:34 > 1:05:37that we not have anything there that wasn't actually from Foxwoods.

1:05:37 > 1:05:42- That seemed important to me. So... - Why was that important?

1:05:42 > 1:05:44Because we're representing Foxwoods,

1:05:44 > 1:05:47and it seems like having people who are actually on the bill there,

1:05:47 > 1:05:49and, you know, David Burke has a big restaurant there,

1:05:49 > 1:05:52that gave it some authenticity.

1:05:52 > 1:05:56Foxwoods, I didn't think, would want people that they don't have booked.

1:05:56 > 1:06:00- So you arranged all of that? - Well, after clearing it with Lisa.

1:06:00 > 1:06:02Of course. So, I mean, that's obviously a big part of the theme

1:06:02 > 1:06:04and incorporating all of those things,

1:06:04 > 1:06:06it's also about the entertainment and the party.

1:06:06 > 1:06:08- Yes, the decor she took care of very much.- So you did the decor,

1:06:08 > 1:06:10and Penn handled all the other aspects of that?

1:06:10 > 1:06:12Well, I brought in the mixologist,

1:06:12 > 1:06:16and I did the decor and all the graphics and posters.

1:06:16 > 1:06:19- What's a mixologist? - Drinks and stuff.- A bartender?- Yes.

1:06:19 > 1:06:21- LISA:- A bartender. - It's a barista for alcohol.

1:06:21 > 1:06:22- Exactly.- That's right.

1:06:22 > 1:06:25- That's what they call themselves now.- Starbucks with alcohol.

1:06:25 > 1:06:28So, John, tell me what Scott and Rodney from Foxwoods

1:06:28 > 1:06:30thought of Marilu's team.

1:06:30 > 1:06:33The positives - the chair massage was a nice touch.

1:06:33 > 1:06:36This is the kind of service that they provide at Foxwoods,

1:06:36 > 1:06:38and it ties back in to the property, they loved that.

1:06:38 > 1:06:40They thought that was really cool.

1:06:40 > 1:06:44The negatives - the King-themed decor was a little too obvious

1:06:44 > 1:06:46and a bit theatrical,

1:06:46 > 1:06:47it didn't really mix well

1:06:47 > 1:06:51with the Foxwoods imagery you had throughout the suite.

1:06:51 > 1:06:53The chess master was a big miss.

1:06:54 > 1:06:56It took up a lot of space,

1:06:56 > 1:06:59it was too cerebral when you come there to relax and party.

1:06:59 > 1:07:02That's funny, cos one of the King things is intellectual,

1:07:02 > 1:07:05so I thought, "Oh, we definitely need something that's intellectual."

1:07:05 > 1:07:07- Mm-hm.- You disagree with them?

1:07:07 > 1:07:10Um, well, there's nothing more intellectual than chess -

1:07:10 > 1:07:12well, I guess there are a few things -

1:07:12 > 1:07:15but I felt like I do disagree with them about that

1:07:15 > 1:07:17because I just felt like, you know, I wanted to make sure

1:07:17 > 1:07:21- I got that intellectual element into the King brand.- I understand that.

1:07:21 > 1:07:25All right. So, Don, what did they think of Lisa's team? Pros and cons.

1:07:25 > 1:07:27They thought you did a great job integrating the theme,

1:07:27 > 1:07:29I mean, the Joker theme,

1:07:29 > 1:07:31all the way down to picking the heads of the calamari

1:07:31 > 1:07:34because it looked like the crown on the joker's hat.

1:07:34 > 1:07:36They just thought that was amazing, and that's the kind of thing

1:07:36 > 1:07:38that would draw people back to the resort.

1:07:38 > 1:07:41I think the attention to detail, again to that last point,

1:07:41 > 1:07:42was just incredible,

1:07:42 > 1:07:45bringing in the acts, obviously, very huge.

1:07:45 > 1:07:48The negatives - the suite was very luxurious,

1:07:48 > 1:07:51but you're missing perhaps some of the casual and more fun elements.

1:07:51 > 1:07:53Obviously the Penn and Teller magic act was there,

1:07:53 > 1:07:56but some of the elements of the decor a little bit stiff

1:07:56 > 1:07:59for a party and fun type atmosphere.

1:07:59 > 1:08:02OK. Marilu, what's your charity?

1:08:02 > 1:08:03My charity is Alzheimer's,

1:08:03 > 1:08:05and that's one of the reasons I really liked the...

1:08:05 > 1:08:07- That is a great charity. - It is a great charity, it is.

1:08:07 > 1:08:09And it's been great because we've done nine tasks so far,

1:08:09 > 1:08:12I've had the most wins of every person on either side.

1:08:12 > 1:08:13- How much have you won?- I've won...

1:08:13 > 1:08:17Well, it's 50,000 so far, it could possibly go up to 100,000

1:08:17 > 1:08:20depending on how many likes they get on Facebook from the BioSilk,

1:08:20 > 1:08:22the fourth challenge that we had.

1:08:22 > 1:08:24And, Lisa, you've won over 400,000.

1:08:24 > 1:08:27- 404,000. - What is your charity, Lisa?

1:08:27 > 1:08:31- St Jude.- That's a great charity. Great charity.

1:08:31 > 1:08:32You know what, Lisa?

1:08:32 > 1:08:35They're going to be very happy

1:08:35 > 1:08:38because Scott and Rodney thought your team did a far better job,

1:08:38 > 1:08:41- so I want to congratulate you. - Thank you.

1:08:41 > 1:08:43Now, I'm going to give you 50,000,

1:08:43 > 1:08:45and Foxwoods Resort is going to match it,

1:08:45 > 1:08:48- so it's 100,000 for St Jude...- Yes! - Awesome!

1:08:48 > 1:08:50- ..and I think that's fantastic. - It's a good charity.

1:08:50 > 1:08:52- Thank you.- Isn't that great? - Oh, it's... Oh!

1:08:52 > 1:08:54- So that brings you up over 500,000, Lisa.- Wow.

1:08:54 > 1:08:57- Wow.- Congratulations. - Thank you.- That's very good.

1:08:57 > 1:08:59- Congratulations. - Let's get out of this hellhole.

1:08:59 > 1:09:01LISA AND PENN LAUGH Go back to your Trump Tower Suite.

1:09:01 > 1:09:03You can watch on television if you'd like.

1:09:03 > 1:09:05- That's so- BLEEP- cool!

1:09:06 > 1:09:09Marilu, you stay here with your team, somebody will be fired.

1:09:16 > 1:09:18- LISA:- Yes! - PENN:- Yeah, darling!

1:09:19 > 1:09:23- Baby, baby, bless you. - Oh!- Baby, baby, baby.- We did!

1:09:23 > 1:09:24- We did it!- Baby, baby.

1:09:24 > 1:09:28- Hey, we fought the power. - We fought the power!

1:09:28 > 1:09:30We popped that bubble, baby!

1:09:30 > 1:09:31My brain, right now,

1:09:31 > 1:09:33it can't even comprehend it, it's so cool.

1:09:33 > 1:09:37Not only did I just win 100,000 for St Jude,

1:09:37 > 1:09:39I'm in the final four - wow.

1:09:39 > 1:09:41- It was so clear from the beginning...- It was clear.

1:09:41 > 1:09:44- ..that we had won that I thought he was going to turn it around.- Me too.

1:09:44 > 1:09:46They were tearing each other apart.

1:09:46 > 1:09:47Let's turn it on.

1:09:49 > 1:09:50Gladly.

1:09:50 > 1:09:52So, Lil Jon, chess was a mistake.

1:09:52 > 1:09:54Whose idea was it? What do you think?

1:09:56 > 1:09:59- Uh, it was Marilu's idea. - Is that true, Marilu?

1:09:59 > 1:10:01That was my idea, because I looked at the card again,

1:10:01 > 1:10:04and I said, "We don't have an intellectual beat on here,"

1:10:04 > 1:10:07and it said intellectual about the King.

1:10:07 > 1:10:09And I thought "Intellectual, King, intellectual,"

1:10:09 > 1:10:11and I thought, "Chess, that would be great."

1:10:11 > 1:10:13I thought if it felt like an out-of-the-box,

1:10:13 > 1:10:16you know, anything-but-ordinary kind of idea

1:10:16 > 1:10:18and so I wanted to do that.

1:10:18 > 1:10:20Chess!

1:10:20 > 1:10:22Chess?

1:10:22 > 1:10:24- Woohoo!- Chess?

1:10:24 > 1:10:26Oh, mother, we're going to play chess!

1:10:26 > 1:10:28What the heck?

1:10:28 > 1:10:30But is chess a party theme, though?

1:10:30 > 1:10:32I mean, it's not something I think of when I go to a party.

1:10:32 > 1:10:35But if you're watching somebody, if you're watching people

1:10:35 > 1:10:36and people were watching,

1:10:36 > 1:10:39people were standing around watching this chess match going on,

1:10:39 > 1:10:41- and they were also getting instruction if they wanted to.- OK.

1:10:41 > 1:10:42So it was just another element.

1:10:42 > 1:10:45You know, their theme is "Anything But Ordinary,"

1:10:45 > 1:10:46and so I just felt like

1:10:46 > 1:10:49this is anything but ordinary, maybe it's not.

1:10:49 > 1:10:52But why would you want to play chess if you were at a game or a concert?

1:10:52 > 1:10:53Well, it's not just...

1:10:53 > 1:10:56No, this was, you know, something when you're waiting

1:10:56 > 1:10:58instead of just watching other television things.

1:10:58 > 1:11:00I thought it was an interesting element

1:11:00 > 1:11:03- to check off the intellectual side of it.- OK.- We knew...

1:11:03 > 1:11:05Listen, we were going south

1:11:05 > 1:11:08on the wow-factor entertainment all day long yesterday,

1:11:08 > 1:11:10so, you know, I don't know how Penn was able to get people,

1:11:10 > 1:11:14but it felt like, you know, if Trace knows the people...

1:11:14 > 1:11:16- You had very good people, but he had big names.- He had unbelievable.

1:11:16 > 1:11:19- It's unbelievable.- Well, they're all good, and they're all talented.

1:11:19 > 1:11:22- They're all good.- But his names were big.- His names were big.

1:11:22 > 1:11:23- That was a mistake. - That's the wow factor.

1:11:23 > 1:11:25Do you blame yourself for that?

1:11:25 > 1:11:26No, because I'm not connected to Foxwoods

1:11:26 > 1:11:29and I was hoping that Trace would bring in the entertainment.

1:11:29 > 1:11:32I mean, I think Hunter was incredible,

1:11:32 > 1:11:35but it was not the wow factor that I personally was looking for

1:11:35 > 1:11:37- in terms of entertainment. - Who were you looking for?

1:11:37 > 1:11:40- Well, I mean, he had mentioned Dolly Parton...- Elvis?

1:11:40 > 1:11:42- Yeah, Elvis.- We want Elvis. - That's the King.

1:11:42 > 1:11:45But to not know that Lil Jon is called the King of Crunk

1:11:45 > 1:11:46and you've got the King card,

1:11:46 > 1:11:49- and you've got the biggest hype man in the world...- I know.

1:11:49 > 1:11:52..you say, "Jon, put on the crown, sit in the chair,

1:11:52 > 1:11:53"be the King of Crunk."

1:11:53 > 1:11:55And he'll go, "You bet," and he'll go do it.

1:11:55 > 1:11:57But why didn't he suggest it to me, why didn't he...?

1:11:57 > 1:11:59- You're the project manager, Marilu. - I know.

1:11:59 > 1:12:01If you're going for this refined kind of King-like,

1:12:01 > 1:12:04but from the intellectual side, it doesn't really fit

1:12:04 > 1:12:06- with the King of Crunk. - Well, that's on the list.

1:12:06 > 1:12:09You know, you have to guide him that way sometimes as project manager.

1:12:09 > 1:12:11If he offered it up and you overruled it...

1:12:11 > 1:12:13It's not that he offered it up to do that, but believe me,

1:12:13 > 1:12:15every single person would tell you

1:12:15 > 1:12:17that I'm constantly coming up with ideas,

1:12:17 > 1:12:19I've always got my project manager's back,

1:12:19 > 1:12:21I'm always like their right hand.

1:12:21 > 1:12:22If I thought I had something to offer,

1:12:22 > 1:12:24I'd be like, "No, let me tell you something,

1:12:24 > 1:12:27"I've got this fabulous thing that I can do, let me do this here."

1:12:27 > 1:12:29But at the end of the day,

1:12:29 > 1:12:32you're talking about going to a suite to have a blast.

1:12:32 > 1:12:36And I keep going back to when I was competing in the show,

1:12:36 > 1:12:38I made a point to know as much information

1:12:38 > 1:12:41about everybody on my team as possible.

1:12:41 > 1:12:43I mean, I knew about everything about them

1:12:43 > 1:12:45cos they're tools in the tool box,

1:12:45 > 1:12:47and at this level of the game when you get down to this part...

1:12:47 > 1:12:49I know! So people should be offering up that kind of...

1:12:49 > 1:12:51This is razor thin edges here, you know?

1:12:51 > 1:12:53- He said in the room though, Marilu. - I know! But why didn't you...

1:12:53 > 1:12:55Let me just say something.

1:12:55 > 1:12:57He said it, and I immediately was like,

1:12:57 > 1:13:00- "I didn't even think about that, that's a good idea."- I know.

1:13:00 > 1:13:03And I started to get the King stuff...

1:13:03 > 1:13:04- Right. - ..and you never even commented.

1:13:04 > 1:13:09You didn't even make a comment after John said that. He was still there.

1:13:09 > 1:13:12Did you hear her mention anything about it?

1:13:12 > 1:13:14No, all I said was, when I knew you had the King card,

1:13:14 > 1:13:17- I went, "Oh, that's perfect, you're the King of Crunk."- Right.- Right.

1:13:17 > 1:13:19- And you got the outfit and then... - But you never even said...

1:13:19 > 1:13:21So how would you respond?

1:13:21 > 1:13:23She's project manager, how would you respond?

1:13:23 > 1:13:26I mean, if it was me and I heard that,

1:13:26 > 1:13:28I would be like, "Get the costume."

1:13:28 > 1:13:32I took it upon myself to call and get the costume anyway,

1:13:32 > 1:13:33and the sceptre, and the crown.

1:13:33 > 1:13:35And I made sure they could go and get it for you.

1:13:35 > 1:13:37They was already out, though, Marilu.

1:13:37 > 1:13:39I know they were out, but I said, "Leave Target,

1:13:39 > 1:13:41"go to Party City so you can get Jon's costume."

1:13:41 > 1:13:43I did.

1:13:43 > 1:13:44Lil Jon, let me ask you this -

1:13:44 > 1:13:47so you're not a huge fan of Marilu,

1:13:47 > 1:13:50- at least as a project manager... - No, I'm a big fan of Marilu.- He is.

1:13:50 > 1:13:53I just work differently than she does, you know, and...

1:13:53 > 1:13:57And I want to just say in my defence as far as wow factor,

1:13:57 > 1:14:00if you know anything about singers and musicians

1:14:00 > 1:14:02and artists and writers,

1:14:02 > 1:14:05and you weren't blown away by what that kid did in that suite...

1:14:05 > 1:14:08- It was great. - ..then sorry about your luck.

1:14:08 > 1:14:11Would you have tried harder if you were project manager, Trace?

1:14:11 > 1:14:13- No, I wouldn't have tried any harder.- You think you tried hard?

1:14:13 > 1:14:17I did. I talked to Blake on the phone yesterday

1:14:17 > 1:14:19and I was going to try and get Dolly in here this morning,

1:14:19 > 1:14:22but she couldn't get out of Pigeon Forge this morning

1:14:22 > 1:14:24- cos of the winds and stuff. - Dolly would have been great.

1:14:24 > 1:14:25- I love Dolly.- I love Dolly.

1:14:25 > 1:14:28- Dolly would have been winning. - Yeah, Dolly would have won.

1:14:28 > 1:14:29Dolly beats Teller.

1:14:30 > 1:14:33But also you knew that Blake wasn't going to be able to come.

1:14:33 > 1:14:35You said there's no way that he would be able to come,

1:14:35 > 1:14:36but you'd call him.

1:14:36 > 1:14:38Well, when I found out he was shooting The Voice,

1:14:38 > 1:14:40I knew he wasn't going to be able to do it.

1:14:40 > 1:14:42Lil Jon, did you think Trace tried hard

1:14:42 > 1:14:44or is he going under the radar?

1:14:44 > 1:14:48I saw him on the phone making calls all day trying to get somebody.

1:14:48 > 1:14:50And I actually even reached out to the Brooklyn Nets

1:14:50 > 1:14:53cos I know some of the players, but they're in Florida,

1:14:53 > 1:14:56- you know what I mean, playing games. - That's true.- OK.

1:14:56 > 1:14:58Penn, turn off your television right now.

1:14:58 > 1:15:00- LISA:- 'Aw.'

1:15:00 > 1:15:02She's got to fight for her life if she wants to stay.

1:15:02 > 1:15:03It's going to be...

1:15:03 > 1:15:06- Fight for her life.- It's not going to be pleasant in there.- No.

1:15:06 > 1:15:10Boy, Trace saying, "I haven't had a good idea in three..."

1:15:10 > 1:15:14- In three, I know.- And also just he was surly in there.- Yeah.

1:15:14 > 1:15:16- What's wrong with him?- I don't know.

1:15:19 > 1:15:21- So, Marilu, you're the project manager.- Yes.

1:15:21 > 1:15:24- Chess was your idea, right? - Yes, it was.

1:15:24 > 1:15:27- The entertainment was good, but, like, not crazy.- Right.- Right?

1:15:27 > 1:15:31But I have not only won, you know, seven out of the nine tasks,

1:15:31 > 1:15:33but I have worked so many different things

1:15:33 > 1:15:36- in terms of a skill set.- I think you're great. I think you're great.

1:15:36 > 1:15:37Who should I fire?

1:15:40 > 1:15:41- You should fire Trace.- Why?

1:15:41 > 1:15:44Because he dropped out three tasks ago.

1:15:44 > 1:15:46And he... His...

1:15:46 > 1:15:49You know, and believe me, I love Trace, it's that he...

1:15:49 > 1:15:51Trace, did you drop out?

1:15:51 > 1:15:55It's funny they've used my ideas on the last three tasks,

1:15:55 > 1:15:58- I don't consider that dropping out. - Lil Jon, did he drop out?

1:15:58 > 1:16:00- I don't think he dropped out.- But you said they weren't good ideas.

1:16:00 > 1:16:02I think Trace was just...

1:16:02 > 1:16:04I think Marilu was getting to Trace yesterday

1:16:04 > 1:16:06because she moved so fast,

1:16:06 > 1:16:08and I think it was just overwhelming for him.

1:16:08 > 1:16:10No. Well... OK.

1:16:10 > 1:16:11It can be an opinion,

1:16:11 > 1:16:15but Trace is used to my kind of energy,

1:16:15 > 1:16:17and I thought I was very subdued

1:16:17 > 1:16:19because we were spending a lot of time sitting around

1:16:19 > 1:16:21trying to figure out what the wow factor was...

1:16:21 > 1:16:23- Well, Marilu, you do have great energy.- I do.

1:16:23 > 1:16:25- I think you're an amazing woman. - Yeah.

1:16:25 > 1:16:27It's like, you know, Joan Rivers, the way she is,

1:16:27 > 1:16:30you appreciate people who are always in there.

1:16:30 > 1:16:32I've always got your back.

1:16:32 > 1:16:35Are you used to Marilu's type of energy, Trace?

1:16:35 > 1:16:38Uh, yeah, I've got three kids in my house.

1:16:38 > 1:16:42- Girls.- Yeah.- Three girls.- Yes.

1:16:42 > 1:16:46I know that you want somebody who has a bigger skill set

1:16:46 > 1:16:47than just a few things.

1:16:47 > 1:16:49- Do you know who I want?- Who?

1:16:49 > 1:16:52I want you. I think you're fantastic.

1:16:52 > 1:16:54I am fantastic. I am.

1:16:54 > 1:16:57I think you're fantastic, and you did incredibly well.

1:16:57 > 1:17:02- Mm-hm.- But you did pick the chess, you did pick the entertainment.

1:17:02 > 1:17:05- No, I didn't pick the entertainment. - Who did?- Trace.

1:17:05 > 1:17:06But as the project manager,

1:17:06 > 1:17:09wouldn't you ultimately be responsible for that?

1:17:10 > 1:17:12Well, I think if you give somebody -

1:17:12 > 1:17:13especially if they're connected to the venue -

1:17:13 > 1:17:15that they should be the ones...

1:17:15 > 1:17:18I mean, Lisa didn't bring in the entertainment, she gave it to Penn.

1:17:18 > 1:17:19Let me just make this point.

1:17:19 > 1:17:22If we had been doing this show in Nashville, Tennessee,

1:17:22 > 1:17:24and I needed star power...

1:17:24 > 1:17:26- JOHN:- You'd have called me.

1:17:26 > 1:17:28..I'd have picked up the phone and I'd have had a herd of them.

1:17:28 > 1:17:30This is her hometown.

1:17:30 > 1:17:33- I don't know anybody...- But you are connected to the Foxwoods brand,

1:17:33 > 1:17:36and Lisa put Penn in charge, Penn brought his people in,

1:17:36 > 1:17:39he knew how to connect with the people that had been there.

1:17:39 > 1:17:41I will say that the fact that it's Celebrity Apprentice

1:17:41 > 1:17:43is such a huge thing

1:17:43 > 1:17:46that even if you're not connected to Foxwoods or whatever else,

1:17:46 > 1:17:48you can pick up the phone and call people.

1:17:48 > 1:17:50I did this, people that I wasn't great friends with,

1:17:50 > 1:17:53they didn't owe me a favour, but I said, "It's Celebrity Apprentice."

1:17:53 > 1:17:54And that was the job that he had been given.

1:17:54 > 1:17:56But I'm just saying, you all could have,

1:17:56 > 1:17:57anybody can pick up a phone and go,

1:17:57 > 1:17:59"You want to be on Celebrity Apprentice?"

1:17:59 > 1:18:01They'll go, "Yeah!" And you go, "Come on down."

1:18:01 > 1:18:02At this stage of the game,

1:18:02 > 1:18:04everybody is supposed to be shoring up everybody else

1:18:04 > 1:18:06- when there's brainstorming and stuff.- But John is right.

1:18:06 > 1:18:09Celebrity Apprentice is so hot that no matter...

1:18:09 > 1:18:11- I could call - forget about me... - Yes.- Anybody can call.

1:18:11 > 1:18:13Say, "You want to be on?" You'll get anybody.

1:18:13 > 1:18:16- Did you think of that? - I said - this is what I did say -

1:18:16 > 1:18:18I said, "Let me tell you something, Penn is going to go all-out."

1:18:18 > 1:18:20- I know Penn, I worked with him... - He went all-out.

1:18:20 > 1:18:23- He's an unbelievable player. - He did a great job.- He is.

1:18:23 > 1:18:25- He's a great player. - As project manager, Marilu,

1:18:25 > 1:18:27don't you think you're at tremendous risk right now?

1:18:27 > 1:18:29No. I think people are trying to get rid of me

1:18:29 > 1:18:31because they know how strong I am.

1:18:31 > 1:18:32There hasn't been one task

1:18:32 > 1:18:35- where I haven't been the second person.- I don't think so.

1:18:35 > 1:18:36I know how strong you are, I think you're great.

1:18:36 > 1:18:39- I'm ultimately the one that makes the decision.- Yeah.

1:18:39 > 1:18:41I'd love to keep you, but you're project manager,

1:18:41 > 1:18:43you made the chess decision,

1:18:43 > 1:18:45we didn't get the great entertainment,

1:18:45 > 1:18:46so let's say maybe that's a combination

1:18:46 > 1:18:48of you, Trace, and Lil Jon, it's everybody.

1:18:48 > 1:18:52- Right.- But there were mistakes made as project manager, right?

1:18:53 > 1:18:56Well, not as many if we had had the wow factor

1:18:56 > 1:18:58- to build the theme around. - I know, but how do I fire Lil Jon?

1:18:58 > 1:19:01How do I fire Trace?

1:19:01 > 1:19:03You're the project manager, you lost,

1:19:03 > 1:19:06and Rodney and Scott just didn't love what you did,

1:19:06 > 1:19:08and most of it was picked by you.

1:19:08 > 1:19:10And even the entertainment,

1:19:10 > 1:19:12you could take the entertainment and choose whoever you want.

1:19:12 > 1:19:14Well, you also came up with the decor,

1:19:14 > 1:19:16which was something they didn't really think fit

1:19:16 > 1:19:19with the Foxwoods theme and certainly not a party theme.

1:19:19 > 1:19:21Those beautiful gold tables and stuff... Well, whatever, I mean, OK.

1:19:21 > 1:19:23I mean, I'm looking at...

1:19:23 > 1:19:25John read them, but I'm looking at one of the negatives right here,

1:19:25 > 1:19:28and the decor was another aspect that they weren't in love with.

1:19:28 > 1:19:30How about the food? It was unbelievable food.

1:19:30 > 1:19:32They loved the food, they didn't like the suite,

1:19:32 > 1:19:34they didn't like the chess,

1:19:34 > 1:19:35they didn't like certain other things,

1:19:35 > 1:19:37and they really liked their team much better

1:19:37 > 1:19:39and you're the project manager.

1:19:39 > 1:19:40Marilu, you're fired.

1:19:45 > 1:19:47- You did a great job. Thank you. - Thank you.

1:19:47 > 1:19:49- Thanks.- Thank you. - It's been a blast. Thank you.

1:19:54 > 1:19:56I don't feel like getting up.

1:19:56 > 1:19:58I'm getting the hell out of here.

1:19:58 > 1:20:00Get out. Go ahead.

1:20:03 > 1:20:05- She's mad at us, huh? - Hell, yeah, she's mad.

1:20:07 > 1:20:10ELEVATOR DINGS

1:20:15 > 1:20:16Bye!

1:20:18 > 1:20:20- What do you think, John? - That was the only call to make.

1:20:20 > 1:20:24She made some really critical errors there. It's razor thin.

1:20:24 > 1:20:25I think she did a great job,

1:20:25 > 1:20:27but she just missed the mark of what Foxwoods was looking for.

1:20:27 > 1:20:29Good. Good job, fellas.

1:21:02 > 1:21:05I really think that my two team-mates kind of checked out.

1:21:05 > 1:21:07They felt like, "Oh, we did our project manager thing,

1:21:07 > 1:21:10"we're going to be final four, it doesn't matter what happens."

1:21:10 > 1:21:13Trace definitely checked out, he wasn't at his best.

1:21:13 > 1:21:17His mother should have kept him home because I think he had the flu.
