0:11:22 > 0:11:27Um, I think this time I'm motivated for more personal reasons.

0:11:27 > 0:11:32- Why?- My mother had a stroke due to diabetes

0:11:32 > 0:11:35and I didn't even know she was still suffering with her diabetes.

0:11:35 > 0:11:37I just remembered her having the diabetes

0:11:37 > 0:11:38when I was younger and I thought

0:11:38 > 0:11:41it went in remission. And a couple of weeks

0:11:41 > 0:11:43before I'm supposed to come and do the show

0:11:43 > 0:11:46she had a stroke and, due to complications,

0:11:46 > 0:11:48like, it affected her recovery.

0:11:48 > 0:11:54Like, she still isn't able to speak and she's not conscious, really.

0:11:55 > 0:11:57So, I mean, I came, you know...

0:11:57 > 0:11:59People don't know how bad diabetes can be.

0:11:59 > 0:12:01Yeah, it's really bad.

0:12:01 > 0:12:03- People just don't understand how bad.- I came back,

0:12:03 > 0:12:09you know, I'm fighting for my mom, so I have a personal push, you know,
