0:00:16 > 0:00:21I'm not here to make any friends. I'm here to find a business partner.

0:00:21 > 0:00:23That's all I'm interested in.

0:00:23 > 0:00:26Business acumen has been assessed...

0:00:26 > 0:00:28- £5, every single item!- Whoo!

0:00:28 > 0:00:30I'm trying to explain to you. We're in a situation.

0:00:30 > 0:00:33- It's not how you do business. - That's not cool. That's not cool.

0:00:34 > 0:00:36I'm the best salesman in the universe.

0:00:36 > 0:00:38You're about as useful as a trapdoor in a canoe!

0:00:38 > 0:00:41Not one of you geniuses ran this thing properly.

0:00:41 > 0:00:44One hopeful has resigned.

0:00:44 > 0:00:47- I'm going to leave the process.- Oh. - I'm really sorry.

0:00:47 > 0:00:50On the positive front, I've saved myself a cab fare.

0:00:50 > 0:00:55- And 12 candidates have been sent on their way.- You're fired.

0:00:55 > 0:00:56You're fired.

0:00:56 > 0:00:59You are a loose canon. You're fired.

0:01:01 > 0:01:05Now, five remain, with everything to play for.

0:01:07 > 0:01:10- We're not arguing. We just need to get this done.- Grainne McCoy.

0:01:10 > 0:01:14- Good team leader?- No. He was not listening to anything.

0:01:14 > 0:01:15We may as well have been talking to the wall.

0:01:15 > 0:01:19- Stop!- Frances Bishop.

0:01:19 > 0:01:21- You've eight losses. - There's two ways of looking at it.

0:01:21 > 0:01:24Well, I look at it one way - eight out of ten you've lost.

0:01:25 > 0:01:27If someone came to me doing that,

0:01:27 > 0:01:30- I'd think, "You cheeky little bastard."- Courtney Wood.

0:01:30 > 0:01:33- Were they happy with this VIP thing? - I think so, yeah.

0:01:33 > 0:01:35People were confused. You lacked charisma.

0:01:37 > 0:01:40- Wow! That is so cool.- Alana Spencer.

0:01:40 > 0:01:45- I think I have grown in confidence as this process has gone on.- Mm.

0:01:45 > 0:01:47And Jessica Cunningham.

0:01:47 > 0:01:50Unorganised, scatty and forgetful.

0:01:50 > 0:01:53Yeah, I believe... Sorry, I'm getting all flappy again.

0:01:53 > 0:01:55Just calm down a minute, will you?

0:01:56 > 0:02:01Just two tasks stand between them and the chance of a lifetime.

0:02:04 > 0:02:09Tonight, in a break from the boardroom, we meet the final five.

0:02:19 > 0:02:21First up, Grainne McCoy.

0:02:21 > 0:02:23I think hard work is the key to success.

0:02:23 > 0:02:25You're not going to get it sitting at home.

0:02:25 > 0:02:29- We ain't bloody sleeping in THIS car!- Tough...

0:02:29 > 0:02:30- Good team leader?- No.

0:02:30 > 0:02:32- ..hard-working...- I'm a grafter.

0:02:32 > 0:02:34It's been built into me from a young age.

0:02:34 > 0:02:36I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and achieve.

0:02:36 > 0:02:38..dependable.

0:02:38 > 0:02:40Give her something to do, she'll do it.

0:02:40 > 0:02:43Oliver, there's tables there. You're not going to get through there.

0:02:43 > 0:02:46You can really trust and rely on Grainne.

0:02:46 > 0:02:48- KARREN:- The thing you notice about Grainne

0:02:48 > 0:02:51as soon as you meet her is that she's a grown-up.

0:02:51 > 0:02:52When they're under pressure,

0:02:52 > 0:02:55some of the candidates act like headless chickens,

0:02:55 > 0:02:57but Grainne doesn't. She just remains calm.

0:02:58 > 0:03:00Grainne's cool character...

0:03:00 > 0:03:02So, you've chosen rock. Quite a tricky one.

0:03:02 > 0:03:04..was tested in week three.

0:03:04 > 0:03:09- I'm struggling. - I can see that.- Argh. Oh!

0:03:09 > 0:03:12- KARREN:- On the corporate candy task, Oliver was the project manager

0:03:12 > 0:03:14but it soon became clear that wasn't going to be his forte.

0:03:14 > 0:03:16It's all a bit of a learning curve.

0:03:16 > 0:03:18But we don't have time for a learning curve.

0:03:18 > 0:03:22Alan is always saying, "If you see something going wrong, step in.

0:03:22 > 0:03:25"Don't just let the ship sink." And that's exactly what Grainne did.

0:03:25 > 0:03:27So, guys, I think we'll swap.

0:03:27 > 0:03:29Ollie, if you want to go over to make fudge.

0:03:29 > 0:03:32- You take over from Frances, Frances, you come over to me.- Perfect.

0:03:32 > 0:03:35I think I took a lot of control of that task, even though we lost.

0:03:35 > 0:03:38But I tried my best on that one.

0:03:38 > 0:03:40- Group hug, group hug.- Well done.

0:03:45 > 0:03:49Back home, in Northern Ireland, one of five children,

0:03:49 > 0:03:52Grainne grew up with a strong work ethic.

0:03:52 > 0:03:57She was a very good girl. She could cook and clean at a very young age.

0:03:57 > 0:04:00We probably made her do more than she should have done.

0:04:00 > 0:04:02When we grew up, nothing was going to be handed to you on a plate.

0:04:02 > 0:04:04My mum's been working for herself

0:04:04 > 0:04:08for her whole life, growing up, since she was a child.

0:04:08 > 0:04:11She'll tell you stories about being out picking spuds in the field.

0:04:14 > 0:04:18But, while still at school, Grainne's life changed for good.

0:04:18 > 0:04:22- Good morning, boys and girls. - CLASS: Good morning, sir.

0:04:22 > 0:04:25'I was teaching my A level class one day

0:04:25 > 0:04:27'and a knock came to the door and it was Grainne.'

0:04:27 > 0:04:31She looked at me straight in the eyes and said, "Sir, I'm pregnant."

0:04:31 > 0:04:34Falling pregnant at 15 was a shock

0:04:34 > 0:04:37and I didn't tell anyone till I was nearly six and a half months.

0:04:37 > 0:04:40I felt that somebody who had such a bright spark in her eyes,

0:04:40 > 0:04:44that her wonderful future was going to be taken from her.

0:04:44 > 0:04:47Being from a Catholic area, I didn't want to be known as the girl

0:04:47 > 0:04:52that had the first kid in the school and didn't do nothing with her life.

0:04:52 > 0:04:54Shortly after she had the baby, she said to me,

0:04:54 > 0:04:56"Sir, I'm coming back to school. Is that OK?"

0:04:56 > 0:04:59And I looked at her and said, "Yes, when are you coming back?"

0:04:59 > 0:05:01And she said, "I'm coming back in four weeks."

0:05:01 > 0:05:03And I was thinking, "Yeah, right."

0:05:03 > 0:05:07Four weeks later, Grainne McCoy was back in school.

0:05:07 > 0:05:09It was time for me to step up as a mother,

0:05:09 > 0:05:11even though I was only 16,

0:05:11 > 0:05:14and get back to school and try and do something with my life.

0:05:16 > 0:05:18That drive and determination...

0:05:18 > 0:05:20I would love to be project manager for this.

0:05:20 > 0:05:22..showed in week four.

0:05:22 > 0:05:24I've worked in department stores, including this one.

0:05:24 > 0:05:26- CLAUDE:- After being the de facto

0:05:26 > 0:05:30project manager on the candy task, she stepped up

0:05:30 > 0:05:32to be the real project manager on the Liberty task.

0:05:32 > 0:05:35And it's fair to say that she was a little bit weak,

0:05:35 > 0:05:37in terms of her decision making.

0:05:37 > 0:05:39I think we should go for scarves.

0:05:39 > 0:05:42- It'll sell more than, probably, handbags.- Scarves.- Scarves.

0:05:42 > 0:05:45My personal choice would be bags.

0:05:45 > 0:05:48We'd have to sell 20 scarves to make one bag sale.

0:05:48 > 0:05:50OK, well, first handbags, second scarves.

0:05:50 > 0:05:52- CLAUDE:- Grainne was easily influenced.

0:05:52 > 0:05:56She didn't listen to her team when they said scarves would sell better.

0:05:57 > 0:06:01- And when bag sales stalled...- You're not going to use the window at all?

0:06:01 > 0:06:04- We're not going to bother with that? - ..tensions rose.

0:06:04 > 0:06:06- Stop saying we should have used the window.- It's a fact.

0:06:06 > 0:06:09- You don't need to get angry. - Come on.- I'm not, I'm just saying...

0:06:09 > 0:06:12- Come on, we've done really well. - Shh, not appropriate in the shop.

0:06:12 > 0:06:15- CLAUDE:- It's fair to say that she found out

0:06:15 > 0:06:17that leading a team is not as easy as it looks.

0:06:17 > 0:06:20You did also say that you're a master in handbags

0:06:20 > 0:06:22and this is why we went for handbags.

0:06:22 > 0:06:25Please don't shift the decision of handbags just on me.

0:06:25 > 0:06:28The big mistake was that you were influenced by other people.

0:06:28 > 0:06:31It was a close call for Grainne in the boardroom

0:06:31 > 0:06:32but when Alan looks around the table

0:06:32 > 0:06:35and thinks about the candidates he could work with,

0:06:35 > 0:06:37I think he saw qualities in Grainne he quite liked.

0:06:37 > 0:06:39I think you've got potential, Grainne,

0:06:39 > 0:06:43- and that's why you're going to remain in this process.- Thank you.

0:06:43 > 0:06:46For him to say that to me is massive, you know.

0:06:46 > 0:06:49From that, the next task, I tried my best to learn from it.

0:06:51 > 0:06:55- The very next week... - Coming in, coming in now.

0:06:55 > 0:06:59- ..at her team's PR stunt... - Remember we're brand ambassadors.

0:06:59 > 0:07:02..a new more self-assured Grainne emerged.

0:07:04 > 0:07:07Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.

0:07:07 > 0:07:10- Killjoy.- Has anyone done any crowdfunding before?

0:07:10 > 0:07:13We just need to get started now. It's all clear.

0:07:14 > 0:07:19Did you tell any of them how to actually fund? No, you didn't.

0:07:19 > 0:07:22Get your points right. I'm not having this conversation.

0:07:22 > 0:07:25I'm not having this conversation with you. I'm not having it.

0:07:25 > 0:07:29- CLAUDE:- On the department store task, Grainne was easily swayed.

0:07:29 > 0:07:31But there she is, the following week,

0:07:31 > 0:07:34refusing to roll over and really standing up for herself.

0:07:35 > 0:07:38Even as a child, Grainne was focussed.

0:07:38 > 0:07:41From a young age, I remember walking round the make-up counters

0:07:41 > 0:07:44with my mother and always wanting to be a make-up artist.

0:07:44 > 0:07:47And when I was 19, I decided to go and do a training course

0:07:47 > 0:07:51up in Dublin and got my degree in make-up.

0:07:52 > 0:07:54To make it in the world of make-up,

0:07:54 > 0:07:58Grainne took the difficult decision to move to London.

0:07:58 > 0:08:02My mother looked after my child and I flew back and forth every week.

0:08:02 > 0:08:05She had to go to London because the opportunity wasn't here.

0:08:05 > 0:08:06I tortured people for work.

0:08:06 > 0:08:08I was like, "Please give me work", until they did.

0:08:09 > 0:08:14In the last ten years, Grainne has forged a career at events,

0:08:14 > 0:08:17music video shoots,

0:08:17 > 0:08:20even creating special effects make-up for feature films.

0:08:21 > 0:08:24My mum's very good at what she does.

0:08:24 > 0:08:26One time, she asked me what I wanted for dinner

0:08:26 > 0:08:30but I didn't see what she looked like. When I came down for dinner,

0:08:30 > 0:08:32she looked like a zombie, sort of.

0:08:32 > 0:08:34And it sort of put me off the food that she'd made.

0:08:34 > 0:08:39Ryan has always been his mother's motivation.

0:08:39 > 0:08:41There's so much more out there.

0:08:41 > 0:08:44I don't want him just to stick and play it safe.

0:08:44 > 0:08:47Every night I come home, I literally stare at Ryan's photo

0:08:47 > 0:08:50for about an hour, you know, just... God, I'm going again.

0:08:52 > 0:08:56I wouldn't change her a bit cos she is the perfect mum

0:08:56 > 0:09:00that I would like and she's done very well.

0:09:03 > 0:09:08After two years of commuting, Grainne decided to move back home.

0:09:08 > 0:09:12I was living in London, travelling back, and I was missing my son.

0:09:14 > 0:09:17I moved home. I just had to be back with Ryan full-time.

0:09:20 > 0:09:22But far from slowing down,

0:09:22 > 0:09:26she spotted a chance to expand her business.

0:09:26 > 0:09:27So, this is Grainne's studio.

0:09:27 > 0:09:31It was a derelict shed at the bottom of our garden.

0:09:32 > 0:09:36It was an absolute mess and Grainne has turned it into what it is today.

0:09:36 > 0:09:40I, literally, hands-on for about a year,

0:09:40 > 0:09:41renovated the whole thing myself.

0:09:41 > 0:09:44DIY queen, they were calling me, you know.

0:09:45 > 0:09:49From her studio, she now runs courses in make-up.

0:09:49 > 0:09:53People travel from all over Northern Ireland because they want the best.

0:09:54 > 0:09:56She really is going to be the next big thing.

0:09:59 > 0:10:01This ambition pushed Grainne...

0:10:01 > 0:10:04I would love to put myself up as project manager for this.

0:10:04 > 0:10:07..to go for the top job again in the last task.

0:10:07 > 0:10:10I can honestly put my hands up and say I've tried a lot of gin.

0:10:12 > 0:10:15The team needed a brand and a gin product.

0:10:15 > 0:10:19With the label, I'm seeing really vivid, bold colours.

0:10:19 > 0:10:22Orange would work well cos that's quite a spice colour.

0:10:22 > 0:10:23If she's going with orange,

0:10:23 > 0:10:26- we should look at maybe doing orange as the colour of the gin.- Yeah.

0:10:26 > 0:10:32- With the taste of the spices, it will all fit really well.- I love it.

0:10:32 > 0:10:35Just as she'd allowed Mukai to influence her on task four

0:10:35 > 0:10:39- to go for the handbags...- So, we'll try quite a darkish orange.

0:10:39 > 0:10:42..she'd allowed Trishna to do exactly the same thing again.

0:10:44 > 0:10:46But the task went to Grainne's head...

0:10:46 > 0:10:47I keep forgetting I don't want...

0:10:47 > 0:10:52I don't want it... I have to stop drinking this.

0:10:52 > 0:10:55PHONE RINGS ..and all communication broke down.

0:10:55 > 0:10:58There's five minutes to go until the deadline.

0:10:58 > 0:11:01- God knows what they are doing. - 19 missed calls?

0:11:03 > 0:11:06At the end of the day, I'm going to have to go with my inkling here.

0:11:08 > 0:11:11So, in the boardroom, a big loss.

0:11:11 > 0:11:15- So, no orders from the supermarket, no orders from the bar chain.- Yeah.

0:11:15 > 0:11:18- CLAUDE:- This was Grainne's seventh loss.

0:11:18 > 0:11:21That's certainly not a good record and I think she came pretty close

0:11:21 > 0:11:22to making an exit.

0:11:22 > 0:11:25- I think you were quite frustrated, Frances...- Yeah.

0:11:25 > 0:11:28Because you wanted to put the ingredients list on your label.

0:11:28 > 0:11:30And it was quite embarrassing.

0:11:30 > 0:11:32Unfortunately, we left the phone in a separate room

0:11:32 > 0:11:35and there were 19 missed calls...

0:11:35 > 0:11:38- Was that because you had too much gin?- Um...

0:11:40 > 0:11:43- Mm.- I think, on this particular task, Grainne lost focus,

0:11:43 > 0:11:46was having too much of a good time

0:11:46 > 0:11:48and, actually, almost came a cropper.

0:11:48 > 0:11:51Grainne's sensible approach in previous tasks,

0:11:51 > 0:11:53I believe, saw her through.

0:11:53 > 0:11:55CANDIDATES: Yeah!

0:11:55 > 0:11:58LAUGHTER

0:11:58 > 0:12:01Grainne came into this process with, perhaps, the least amount

0:12:01 > 0:12:04of business experience of all the candidates.

0:12:04 > 0:12:06Oh!

0:12:06 > 0:12:07It's interesting.

0:12:07 > 0:12:10She's an established make-up artist and obviously very good at it,

0:12:10 > 0:12:12but she needs to be able to prove

0:12:12 > 0:12:16she can build and run a business that Alan wants to invest in.

0:12:16 > 0:12:19That could be a new rage. That's amazing.

0:12:19 > 0:12:22For her to win, it would mean the world to me and her,

0:12:22 > 0:12:25as I would be a lot more popular.

0:12:25 > 0:12:26It's really hotting up now.

0:12:26 > 0:12:28# All night long... #

0:12:28 > 0:12:31If I don't win, the one person in this process

0:12:31 > 0:12:33that I'd love to win is Grainne. She deserves it.

0:12:33 > 0:12:37She's amazing and I would be happy to be runner-up to Grainne.

0:12:37 > 0:12:40- OK, calm down. - LAUGHTER

0:12:40 > 0:12:43- Colony Spice, please.- Make that two.

0:12:43 > 0:12:46Grainne, keep going.

0:12:46 > 0:12:48We know you can do it. We're all behind you.

0:12:48 > 0:12:51Grainne, we're all rooting here for you in Dromintee.

0:12:51 > 0:12:55ALL: Do it for Ireland! Go on, Grainne!

0:12:55 > 0:12:58'I have full belief in myself that I could win this.

0:12:58 > 0:13:00'What I'm going to do now is show Lord Sugar'

0:13:00 > 0:13:03that I'm not just a make-up artist, I am a strong businesswoman as well,

0:13:03 > 0:13:06and if I won, my dream has then come true.

0:13:07 > 0:13:10Yeah, it would just... It would be amazing.

0:13:11 > 0:13:17Next, 25-year-old children's clothing retailer Frances Bishop.

0:13:18 > 0:13:21'A lot of people think that cos I'm small,'

0:13:21 > 0:13:24a little like a mouse, that I'm quite weak.

0:13:24 > 0:13:28I'm not. I genuinely believe I will win this competition.

0:13:28 > 0:13:29Competitive...

0:13:29 > 0:13:33I'm not prepared to lose this task on the basis of his ignorance.

0:13:33 > 0:13:35..self-assured...

0:13:35 > 0:13:38- I've got such a good telephone voice!- ..and direct.

0:13:38 > 0:13:41The problem with the last pitch was an absolute lack of structure,

0:13:41 > 0:13:44- so you've got to be able to direct the room a bit more.- What?

0:13:44 > 0:13:46Frances is a little bolt of lightning.

0:13:46 > 0:13:48She's a timid looking little thing,

0:13:48 > 0:13:49but she takes no prisoners whatsoever.

0:13:49 > 0:13:51Every penny counts.

0:13:51 > 0:13:56Right from the off, her confident approach was clear to see.

0:13:56 > 0:13:58She was like, "£15?"

0:13:58 > 0:14:00and I was like, "No way. You're going to pay more for this."

0:14:00 > 0:14:05Frances is clearly a bright young woman but, boy, can she be bossy.

0:14:05 > 0:14:08If this goes badly wrong, I'm holding you personally responsible.

0:14:08 > 0:14:10It's not an approach that would work for everyone,

0:14:10 > 0:14:13but you have to give it to her - she is tenacious

0:14:13 > 0:14:14and that's a personality trait

0:14:14 > 0:14:16that you need to be successful in business.

0:14:18 > 0:14:22The elder of two sisters, Frances grew up in Nottingham.

0:14:22 > 0:14:26I always had this desire to prove myself to people.

0:14:26 > 0:14:29At school, I was that annoying girl in the front of the class,

0:14:29 > 0:14:32hand up every question. I was there, like, "Me, pick me."

0:14:32 > 0:14:36It sounds corny, but she was a perfect child.

0:14:36 > 0:14:39She'd be really upset if she didn't get an A,

0:14:39 > 0:14:42because she would work so hard and I think in the classroom,

0:14:42 > 0:14:45that's where her competitiveness comes out.

0:14:45 > 0:14:50Her competitive nature extended beyond the classroom.

0:14:52 > 0:14:57When I was 16, I won the Karate World Championships, a gold medal.

0:14:57 > 0:14:58That's how I've got wonky teeth now.

0:14:58 > 0:15:01I got punched in the face in the final and it really annoyed me

0:15:01 > 0:15:03cos I'd had a brace for, like, a year,

0:15:03 > 0:15:06so I punched her in the face, she went down and I won.

0:15:09 > 0:15:12Two years before her sporting success,

0:15:12 > 0:15:15her young life was turned upside down.

0:15:17 > 0:15:22I found out when I was 14 that my dad wasn't my dad

0:15:22 > 0:15:27and my biological dad, he didn't really want anything to do with me.

0:15:27 > 0:15:34When we told Frances, all she said to Tim, "Will you adopt me?"

0:15:35 > 0:15:39You can tell from deep down, she loves him so much

0:15:39 > 0:15:42and he's so, so very proud of her.

0:15:43 > 0:15:49Her close bond with step-dad Tim helped spur on the young Frances.

0:15:49 > 0:15:52My step-dad, my dad, he's been the one there

0:15:52 > 0:15:54that's been at all the karate competitions,

0:15:54 > 0:15:57the Irish dancing competitions. He's a brilliant man.

0:15:57 > 0:16:00He got up every day at five o'clock to do a job

0:16:00 > 0:16:03that he doesn't necessarily like, so I could have whatever I wanted.

0:16:03 > 0:16:07All I've ever been is a lorry driver and, um...

0:16:09 > 0:16:13I always tried to encourage her at school to do really well,

0:16:13 > 0:16:15so I feel quite proud about that.

0:16:15 > 0:16:18So, yeah, very pleased for her.

0:16:19 > 0:16:22- Week four.- Good morning.

0:16:22 > 0:16:26And the chance for the clothes shop owner to show what she could do.

0:16:26 > 0:16:32I'm sending you to one of the UK's most famous department stores.

0:16:32 > 0:16:35Frances knows fashion, she knows retail.

0:16:35 > 0:16:37I think she was keen to make a real impact.

0:16:37 > 0:16:41You guys really need to use me here, so put me in the right place

0:16:41 > 0:16:43and make sure I bring out the best in you guys.

0:16:43 > 0:16:45- CLAUDE:- She contributed her expertise really well.

0:16:45 > 0:16:48Spain is so good for manufacturing, in terms of quality.

0:16:48 > 0:16:50- CLAUDE:- She excelled speaking to the shopper

0:16:50 > 0:16:54where she extracted every single piece of relevant information.

0:16:54 > 0:16:58- Have you got a particular style? - I quite like to look a bit weird.

0:16:58 > 0:17:03She understood right from the off that this was all about research.

0:17:03 > 0:17:05I like that you're just honest with me.

0:17:05 > 0:17:07- CLAUDE:- The more you knew about the client,

0:17:07 > 0:17:09the more you could get them to spend.

0:17:09 > 0:17:13I really look forward to meeting you tomorrow. Have a lovely evening.

0:17:13 > 0:17:16- Smashed it!- Good information gathering.- That went well.

0:17:18 > 0:17:19- KARREN:- Frances's team lost that task

0:17:19 > 0:17:21but she'd certainly done her best.

0:17:21 > 0:17:23She was just unlucky to be on a losing team.

0:17:23 > 0:17:26I called both of the clients, gleaned a lot of information.

0:17:26 > 0:17:28I brought in various different accessories,

0:17:28 > 0:17:30really connected with her by the end

0:17:30 > 0:17:31and she spent over double her budget.

0:17:31 > 0:17:34So it was quite a good salesmanship.

0:17:35 > 0:17:38- Week six. - These are all lehenga, yeah?

0:17:38 > 0:17:42Frances was focussed on trying to secure a victory.

0:17:42 > 0:17:45Lowest price lehenga, what is it?

0:17:45 > 0:17:48Frances had been on the losing side every single time,

0:17:48 > 0:17:51but it wasn't for the lack of trying.

0:17:51 > 0:17:53I've got something for about 40.

0:17:53 > 0:17:55She did really well and ended up paying

0:17:55 > 0:17:57half what the other team paid.

0:17:57 > 0:18:02- 25 and you've got a deal. Come on. - All right, go on.- Yay.

0:18:02 > 0:18:06- 25 quid, lehenga in the bag. - Thank you so much.

0:18:06 > 0:18:09I think we can smash this, maybe even have an early night!

0:18:09 > 0:18:13- In the boardroom... - You lost by well over £100.

0:18:13 > 0:18:17Unfortunately, despite personally doing well on that task,

0:18:17 > 0:18:19her team lost again.

0:18:19 > 0:18:23When they read out the results, I just sank and it dawned on me

0:18:23 > 0:18:27I was the only one left that had lost every single task.

0:18:28 > 0:18:30When you've lost every task to date,

0:18:30 > 0:18:33eventually, there's a big question mark over your abilities.

0:18:35 > 0:18:38Frances, you need to be on a winning team one day.

0:18:38 > 0:18:40I'm going to try on the next task, Lord Sugar.

0:18:45 > 0:18:47On the very next task...

0:18:48 > 0:18:53..Frances got a chance to shine at the Poole Harbour Boat Show.

0:18:53 > 0:18:56Frances, you're going to be the project manager,

0:18:56 > 0:19:00- so let's see if you can win. - 'And I was like, "Oh, my God!"'

0:19:00 > 0:19:02There was a lot of pressure there to win.

0:19:02 > 0:19:05Searching for the winning formula...

0:19:05 > 0:19:09Don't undermine people because this is where we are going wrong.

0:19:09 > 0:19:11..she decided to shake things up.

0:19:11 > 0:19:13Paul, I want you to be my sub team leader.

0:19:13 > 0:19:14I decided to take Sofiane with me

0:19:14 > 0:19:16because if I left him in the sub team with Paul,

0:19:16 > 0:19:19it could have created friction, something I won't stand for.

0:19:19 > 0:19:22- Let's go.- Let's win. Team Nebula!

0:19:22 > 0:19:24'There was a lot of pressure on Frances that week.'

0:19:24 > 0:19:27The products that she was selling were £19,000 each

0:19:27 > 0:19:29and she really had to win.

0:19:29 > 0:19:32- When we're pitching, no overtalking each other, right?- Not at all.

0:19:32 > 0:19:34But Frances really rose to the occasion

0:19:34 > 0:19:37and probably the most impressive thing she did

0:19:37 > 0:19:41was keep Sofiane in line because, trust me, that's not easy.

0:19:42 > 0:19:44I might be able to throw in a couple of extras.

0:19:44 > 0:19:48We can do four life jackets for you. Are you happy to go ahead?

0:19:48 > 0:19:52- Yeah, go on then. - Congratulations. Bye-bye.- Bye-bye.

0:19:52 > 0:19:53All right.

0:19:55 > 0:19:59- Frances, you've lost every task to date.- I have.

0:19:59 > 0:20:01Karren, did they close any deals on the boat?

0:20:01 > 0:20:05I'm pleased to say that two of the sales passed the credit control.

0:20:05 > 0:20:08That's a massive, massive win.

0:20:08 > 0:20:11- Do you want a tissue, Frances? - I'm sorry!- Are you crying?

0:20:11 > 0:20:15- I've spent six weeks losing. - Well done.

0:20:15 > 0:20:16'I was really pleased for Frances'

0:20:16 > 0:20:19because she got that win just at the right moment.

0:20:19 > 0:20:22I feel that if she'd lost that task, it really would have been all over.

0:20:24 > 0:20:27Aged 18, Frances achieved her ambition

0:20:27 > 0:20:30of being accepted into a top university.

0:20:30 > 0:20:32Frances was the first of her family

0:20:32 > 0:20:36to go to university and to get into such a prestigious university,

0:20:36 > 0:20:41like Durham, that is a real, real massive achievement for her.

0:20:42 > 0:20:46But her dreams of academic success quickly turned sour.

0:20:46 > 0:20:48I got to uni and I was around people

0:20:48 > 0:20:50that had had really privileged backgrounds

0:20:50 > 0:20:52and that was really hard to deal with at first

0:20:52 > 0:20:53and I tried to be someone I wasn't.

0:20:53 > 0:20:57From the get-go, it was difficult for her to fit in

0:20:57 > 0:21:01and to try and find her gap in the friendship groups.

0:21:01 > 0:21:02I was really unhappy.

0:21:02 > 0:21:05It sounds ridiculous for a straight A student to say that,

0:21:05 > 0:21:08but I really did, and I dropped out.

0:21:08 > 0:21:10We were all surprised. That was possibly

0:21:10 > 0:21:13the most surprising thing Frances has ever done.

0:21:13 > 0:21:19Leaving university was to change her life in more ways than one.

0:21:20 > 0:21:22I got a job as a barmaid,

0:21:22 > 0:21:25did some work experience at Notts County Football Club.

0:21:25 > 0:21:29There, she met a young player called Neal Bishop.

0:21:29 > 0:21:32We met for a coffee. Conversation was difficult

0:21:32 > 0:21:34because she couldn't understand my accent

0:21:34 > 0:21:36and Frances talks very properly.

0:21:36 > 0:21:39I said she was posh, but she said she's not.

0:21:39 > 0:21:40Kick it back to me.

0:21:41 > 0:21:43Ooh, that's a good kick.

0:21:43 > 0:21:45After three years together,

0:21:45 > 0:21:50the couple married and now have a son, Oscar.

0:21:50 > 0:21:55I left uni, I had a baby and married a footballer.

0:21:55 > 0:21:57Apparently, I'm a Wag.

0:21:58 > 0:22:02Parenthood was a turning point in Frances's career.

0:22:02 > 0:22:05My career has only a short lifespan, really,

0:22:05 > 0:22:10so we wanted something long-term that could support our family

0:22:10 > 0:22:13and Frances being Frances took it on her own bat

0:22:13 > 0:22:15to go out there and do something.

0:22:16 > 0:22:19I set up Pud in 2014.

0:22:19 > 0:22:21I noticed that there was a gap in the market

0:22:21 > 0:22:24for a reasonably priced childrenswear retailer

0:22:24 > 0:22:27but still combine that kind of community spirit

0:22:27 > 0:22:29with good prices and good service

0:22:29 > 0:22:31and that's led me to now have two shops.

0:22:32 > 0:22:35- Morning.- Morning.- You all right?

0:22:35 > 0:22:38Frances is not your stereotypical Wag.

0:22:38 > 0:22:40She's really hardworking and wants to provide

0:22:40 > 0:22:43for her family just as much as her husband does.

0:22:43 > 0:22:45Frances is a very good boss.

0:22:45 > 0:22:47She'll tell us what she wants and when she wants it.

0:22:47 > 0:22:49Customers will come into the store

0:22:49 > 0:22:52basically to see Frances and to buy.

0:22:52 > 0:22:55Frances, you call yourself a pocket rocket.

0:22:55 > 0:22:57Blast your way to the final!

0:22:57 > 0:23:00- You've got this. - ALL: Good luck, Frances!

0:23:00 > 0:23:04- In the final tasks... - Frances, old habits die hard, right?

0:23:04 > 0:23:08Frances found herself on the losing teams yet again.

0:23:08 > 0:23:11I think you know the drill now. Off you go.

0:23:11 > 0:23:15There's no doubt that Frances is both ambitious and determined,

0:23:15 > 0:23:18but she's got a really bad record in the process.

0:23:18 > 0:23:21Even Lord Sugar feels sorry for me now.

0:23:21 > 0:23:24'I may have lost eight tasks in this process...'

0:23:24 > 0:23:25That was brutal.

0:23:25 > 0:23:27'..but anyone that knows me will say'

0:23:27 > 0:23:29I'm just waiting to win the big one.

0:23:29 > 0:23:32- Come on, guys!- There she is!- Yay!

0:23:32 > 0:23:36- CLAUDE:- During the interview process, Frances has to demonstrate

0:23:36 > 0:23:40that actually she's learnt from all those losses

0:23:40 > 0:23:44and she's come through stronger and she's got what it takes.

0:23:44 > 0:23:47Calm it down now. Let's make sure

0:23:47 > 0:23:50it's not looking cheap and we'll try and add that classy element now.

0:23:50 > 0:23:53She's a very clever girl. She's smart.

0:23:53 > 0:23:55She's going to be the biggest competition to me

0:23:55 > 0:23:58in winning the final prize.

0:23:58 > 0:24:00That's brilliant. Thank you so much.

0:24:00 > 0:24:04- Do it for us Wags. - ALL: Go, Frances! Come on, Frances.

0:24:04 > 0:24:08- You're a true champion to us. - TOGETHER: Go, Mummy!- Yeah!

0:24:10 > 0:24:12I think I genuinely deserve to win this

0:24:12 > 0:24:15because I sure as hell didn't leave my little boy for ten weeks

0:24:15 > 0:24:19to come here and be a loser. I'm here to win.

0:24:19 > 0:24:23And I will be Lord Sugar's next business partner.

0:24:26 > 0:24:27Next...

0:24:29 > 0:24:31..29-year-old Courtney Wood.

0:24:33 > 0:24:35Looking fresh.

0:24:35 > 0:24:38- Creative... - Does my bum look big in this?

0:24:38 > 0:24:40- ..calm... - Hello, ladies and gentlemen,

0:24:40 > 0:24:42this is your project manager speaking.

0:24:42 > 0:24:45- ..confident.- We should be done by 3am at this rate.

0:24:45 > 0:24:48I kind of feel like I'm a bit of a rare breed

0:24:48 > 0:24:50when it comes to creativity and business.

0:24:50 > 0:24:53I think some people either have that creative mind

0:24:53 > 0:24:56or a commercial mind and I kind of feel like I've got both.

0:24:56 > 0:24:59- Courtney, you've got a business already.- Yeah, novelty gifts, toys.

0:24:59 > 0:25:01I also design the products too.

0:25:01 > 0:25:04I'm at the stage where I'm looking for an investor

0:25:04 > 0:25:05and I want that person to be you.

0:25:05 > 0:25:07Courtney, I think, is one of the ones

0:25:07 > 0:25:09I've always thought would get this far.

0:25:09 > 0:25:11He kind of stood out from the rest.

0:25:11 > 0:25:16He truly believes that he's Lord Sugar's business partner.

0:25:16 > 0:25:19You model yourself on Leonardo DiCaprio.

0:25:19 > 0:25:22It didn't end well for him in Titanic, did it?

0:25:22 > 0:25:24Yeah, hopefully, this process will go better for me.

0:25:24 > 0:25:26When Courtney started out in this process,

0:25:26 > 0:25:28I think we all thought he was quite a self-assured guy.

0:25:28 > 0:25:34- Here we have the AG1586.- 1586.- One of our superior models in the range.

0:25:34 > 0:25:38But we were worried about, was it more style over substance?

0:25:39 > 0:25:42Born and raised in Linford, Essex,

0:25:42 > 0:25:46Courtney wasn't always as confident as he is today.

0:25:46 > 0:25:50When he was younger, I think Courtney was probably a lot quieter,

0:25:50 > 0:25:52a lot more shy.

0:25:52 > 0:25:58- Possibly that's related to the fact that he was a bit...tubby?- Fat.

0:26:01 > 0:26:04My teenage years, I think I found fast food and yeah,

0:26:04 > 0:26:08I think I was a little overweight through senior school.

0:26:08 > 0:26:13Courtney got to the age of 16 and we suited and booted him,

0:26:13 > 0:26:16ready for his prom, and he looked really smart

0:26:16 > 0:26:20but we realised just how chunky he was.

0:26:20 > 0:26:23When he left school, he decided then he was going to lose weight

0:26:23 > 0:26:28and he became the lithe and lissom character that he is now.

0:26:28 > 0:26:31I think his confidence - there's a parallel line

0:26:31 > 0:26:35between his weight and his confidence.

0:26:35 > 0:26:40- I don't think then he was anywhere near as confident.- Of course not.

0:26:40 > 0:26:42A successful student,

0:26:42 > 0:26:46young Courtney was already displaying a flair for design.

0:26:47 > 0:26:49I think I really started enjoying learning

0:26:49 > 0:26:51when I got to sixth-form college

0:26:51 > 0:26:54cos I could then focus on what I wanted to do

0:26:54 > 0:26:57and I chose product design, graphic design, business.

0:26:57 > 0:26:59I got the grades I needed to get to Brunel University

0:26:59 > 0:27:01and studied industrial design technology

0:27:01 > 0:27:04and I ended up getting a first-class degree.

0:27:04 > 0:27:06That's one of my biggest achievements in life.

0:27:06 > 0:27:13University was a turning point, not just in Courtney's education.

0:27:13 > 0:27:16Courtney really came into himself at university.

0:27:16 > 0:27:19I think that's when he found something

0:27:19 > 0:27:21that he was very, very good at

0:27:21 > 0:27:23and I think that's where his entrepreneurial streak

0:27:23 > 0:27:28- really took off and... - Blossomed.- Blossomed, yeah.

0:27:29 > 0:27:34It wasn't long before he began to show a talent for turning a profit.

0:27:34 > 0:27:38He started to get the feeling that he wanted to make his own money.

0:27:38 > 0:27:39When he finished his course,

0:27:39 > 0:27:42he was getting little business deals on the side,

0:27:42 > 0:27:45buying kit bikes, building them up and then selling them.

0:27:45 > 0:27:47I think I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit.

0:27:47 > 0:27:50From the age of 15, 16, I'd go to the market

0:27:50 > 0:27:54and I saw magazines where you get the free collectible car models

0:27:54 > 0:27:56and I'd buy them for £1

0:27:56 > 0:27:58and then sell these models on eBay for 20 quid

0:27:58 > 0:28:01and I always spotted opportunities to make money.

0:28:01 > 0:28:04In week six...

0:28:04 > 0:28:08SE2 - that's London Bridge, so that's this area here.

0:28:08 > 0:28:11..Courtney took on the role of project manager.

0:28:11 > 0:28:13We need to get a poster printed. What's the price of that?

0:28:13 > 0:28:15We could do that for £11.

0:28:15 > 0:28:18Right from the start, he led from the front...

0:28:18 > 0:28:21- Can you do it for £5?- £8.- £7.

0:28:21 > 0:28:26- £7.50?- OK. - ..guiding his team to victory.

0:28:26 > 0:28:30- Right, well done.- Four in a row.

0:28:31 > 0:28:34Courtney may have been riding high on his success...

0:28:34 > 0:28:36THEY LAUGH

0:28:36 > 0:28:39..but the following week...

0:28:39 > 0:28:41The boat show was the lowest point for me, so far.

0:28:41 > 0:28:44..was a washout.

0:28:44 > 0:28:453.5 metres long.

0:28:45 > 0:28:48'All Grainne and Courtney are doing is checking out'

0:28:48 > 0:28:50the technical details.

0:28:50 > 0:28:54- COURTNEY:- It's cruising as well as sports riding.

0:28:54 > 0:28:55This is a selling task.

0:28:55 > 0:28:58People are passing by and they are completely oblivious to it.

0:28:58 > 0:29:02- They're missing that opportunity. - And in the boardroom...

0:29:02 > 0:29:07- Claude, what about the Jet Ski vendors?- Well, Jet Skis, no sales.

0:29:07 > 0:29:10..Courtney got that sinking feeling.

0:29:10 > 0:29:14- So, all they took is £188 on the day?- That's correct.

0:29:14 > 0:29:16Being a salesman is not the be all and end all

0:29:16 > 0:29:17of being a good business person

0:29:17 > 0:29:20but it is important that you have some ability to sell

0:29:20 > 0:29:25and Courtney's sales skills really seemed to be lacking at this point.

0:29:25 > 0:29:28- Why didn't you sell any Jet Skis? - I spoke to many people.

0:29:28 > 0:29:30No, you didn't, that's the point.

0:29:30 > 0:29:32You did your impression of Otis Redding, you know,

0:29:32 > 0:29:34sitting on the dock of the bay,

0:29:34 > 0:29:37watching all the people walk by, actually.

0:29:37 > 0:29:40I'm not impressed, so you two better up your game.

0:29:40 > 0:29:43Unlike his sales ability...

0:29:45 > 0:29:49..Courtney's credentials as a designer have never been in doubt.

0:29:50 > 0:29:56After graduating, he secured a job at a successful UK gift company.

0:29:56 > 0:29:59I was working as a product designer for another company

0:29:59 > 0:30:01and I knew I was coming up with these great ideas

0:30:01 > 0:30:04and I knew I could do it myself, so I decided to quit.

0:30:04 > 0:30:07After taking time out to travel round Australia,

0:30:07 > 0:30:12Courtney decided to take the plunge and start his own business.

0:30:12 > 0:30:16I create novelty gifts, just fun little pick-up products

0:30:16 > 0:30:20you see at the till around Christmas time, like for secret Santa.

0:30:20 > 0:30:22We call his products big boys' toys.

0:30:22 > 0:30:27Personally, I can't understand why anyone would buy those sort of...

0:30:27 > 0:30:30But it seems to be popular, there is a market for it.

0:30:30 > 0:30:32He's identified that market and made a killing in it.

0:30:32 > 0:30:35I come up with the ideas for the products and then design them,

0:30:35 > 0:30:37work with the factories, manufacture them.

0:30:37 > 0:30:39I'm involved in every part of the process

0:30:39 > 0:30:42of getting the product, from idea stage to market.

0:30:42 > 0:30:44And for his customers,

0:30:44 > 0:30:49Courtney's quirky designs set him apart from the rest.

0:30:49 > 0:30:53When we saw Courtney's products, they instantly stood out to us

0:30:53 > 0:30:55because they were completely different

0:30:55 > 0:30:58to anything else we'd seen. They were innovative, fun.

0:30:58 > 0:30:59Everybody loves them.

0:30:59 > 0:31:02In the last three years,

0:31:02 > 0:31:05Courtney's seen his business go from strength to strength.

0:31:05 > 0:31:09I started a worldwide company on £20,000 of my own saved-up money.

0:31:09 > 0:31:13Within the first year, I was already selling to two countries worldwide -

0:31:13 > 0:31:15Germany and Australia - and in the space of three years,

0:31:15 > 0:31:18I've built that now up to 17 countries.

0:31:18 > 0:31:21Courtney's business is really strong now. He's got deals globally.

0:31:21 > 0:31:25He's turning a profit at last - not that WE'RE seeing any of it!

0:31:25 > 0:31:27THEY LAUGH

0:31:27 > 0:31:31And for Courtney, his office couldn't be closer to home.

0:31:31 > 0:31:33Courtney's global headquarters is in his bedroom

0:31:33 > 0:31:35at his mum and dad's house.

0:31:35 > 0:31:38- The office. - The office, he calls it, yes.

0:31:39 > 0:31:42So, this is the global headquarters of Bubblegum Stuff.

0:31:42 > 0:31:45This very desk, where Courtney's best ideas come to fruition.

0:31:45 > 0:31:48Essential piece of furniture, of course - the wash basket,

0:31:48 > 0:31:50where mum can take the washing

0:31:50 > 0:31:52straight from the door down to the kitchen.

0:31:53 > 0:31:55Week nine.

0:31:56 > 0:32:00- Good morning.- The task...

0:32:00 > 0:32:02- Ooh! - LAUGHTER

0:32:02 > 0:32:05..create a virtual reality video game.

0:32:05 > 0:32:07- Galactic Gordon.- I quite like that!

0:32:07 > 0:32:11- Gordon's lost his badger. - Good, yeah. I like it.

0:32:11 > 0:32:15I think Courtney showed incredible insight and skill as a designer.

0:32:15 > 0:32:18We need to have the badger's face in a circle

0:32:18 > 0:32:22- and then with the flag - "Leave no badger behind."- Yeah.

0:32:22 > 0:32:26The concept was a bit mad but the experts really liked it.

0:32:26 > 0:32:29They thought it was eye-catching, very different

0:32:29 > 0:32:31and something, actually, that was very brandable.

0:32:31 > 0:32:34It's a landslide victory

0:32:34 > 0:32:37and, Nebula, you got 222 votes out of 300.

0:32:37 > 0:32:39- Well done.- Yes!

0:32:39 > 0:32:41I think Courtney's most impressive performance

0:32:41 > 0:32:44was seen in the virtual reality gaming task.

0:32:44 > 0:32:48That's where his ability to design and come up with concepts

0:32:48 > 0:32:50really did prove to be successful.

0:32:52 > 0:32:55- Week ten.- We're on the last task. - I know.

0:32:55 > 0:32:59In the process, Courtney had achieved the most wins.

0:32:59 > 0:33:02I've got the flavour of winning as well. Seven out of the nine now.

0:33:02 > 0:33:05And in the gin manufacturing task...

0:33:05 > 0:33:08We need to pronounce it as "ghin" or "zhin".

0:33:08 > 0:33:12..his design skills came to the fore once more.

0:33:12 > 0:33:15High five me now, honey!

0:33:15 > 0:33:18Courtney's strength certainly lies in design.

0:33:18 > 0:33:21Every single time he's had that to do, he's done it really well.

0:33:21 > 0:33:26- But Courtney's pitching...- Hiya, good afternoon.- Hi.- ..let him down.

0:33:26 > 0:33:28Er, the correct way of pronouncing it...

0:33:28 > 0:33:34As I said, the correct way of pronouncing it is "zhin". Um...

0:33:34 > 0:33:36- CLAUDE:- He couldn't pitch. He was incredibly boring.

0:33:36 > 0:33:38He was stumbling over every single word

0:33:38 > 0:33:40and, frankly it was a sheer embarrassment.

0:33:40 > 0:33:45Despite this, he led his team to another win.

0:33:45 > 0:33:49Nebula, therefore, secured orders worth £71,400.

0:33:49 > 0:33:52Final five, final five!

0:33:52 > 0:33:543,000 bottles. That's very good.

0:33:54 > 0:33:58Winning eight out of ten tasks - I think that's a great record to have

0:33:58 > 0:34:00and I think that Lord Sugar will look at it

0:34:00 > 0:34:02and think, "This guy's obviously doing something right."

0:34:02 > 0:34:05China and glassware. Everything must go today!

0:34:06 > 0:34:08- I am a human iron.- Really?

0:34:08 > 0:34:10I'm going to iron you out in the boardroom, mate.

0:34:10 > 0:34:15I think Courtney has shown that he is calm, he's level-headed,

0:34:15 > 0:34:16he's a great designer.

0:34:16 > 0:34:18His pitching's always been bad

0:34:18 > 0:34:22and pitching is a way to sell yourself and your personality

0:34:22 > 0:34:26and it will be interesting to see how he copes in the interviews.

0:34:26 > 0:34:28OK, so I think this might be the first ever meeting

0:34:28 > 0:34:30I've done in my dressing gown.

0:34:30 > 0:34:33I've worked my bollocks off for the last three years

0:34:33 > 0:34:35and put everything into it

0:34:35 > 0:34:37and I want to take my business to the next level.

0:34:37 > 0:34:40I don't just want any old investor. I want Lord Sugar.

0:34:41 > 0:34:45Back at home, his friends and family are in no doubt...

0:34:45 > 0:34:49CHEERING

0:34:49 > 0:34:52..their boy has got what it takes.

0:34:52 > 0:34:55He's such an amazing designer. We know he can win.

0:34:55 > 0:34:58ALL: Go, Courtney! CHEERING

0:34:58 > 0:35:02I've never been fired and I've no intention of being fired.

0:35:02 > 0:35:04I'm going to be the next winner of The Apprentice.

0:35:04 > 0:35:08We believe in you, Courtney! You can do it!

0:35:08 > 0:35:10CHEERING

0:35:10 > 0:35:13THEY CHANT: Courtney! Courtney! Courtney! Courtney!

0:35:14 > 0:35:18Next, the youngest candidate in the process -

0:35:18 > 0:35:2024-year-old Alana Spencer.

0:35:21 > 0:35:23Ready?

0:35:23 > 0:35:24Hard-working...

0:35:24 > 0:35:29- How much would you like to pay? - 10. It's done, it's done, it's done!

0:35:29 > 0:35:32- ..organised...- You're bringing the canapes into the entrance.

0:35:32 > 0:35:35You're going to be dealing with hot food. Do you have a stand?

0:35:35 > 0:35:37- ..and underestimated. - Instead of bubbles,

0:35:37 > 0:35:40it could be jellyfish and if they're alight, you can't touch them...

0:35:40 > 0:35:43- Aren't you making it a bit more complicated?- OK.

0:35:46 > 0:35:50At the outset, Alana had a softly-softly style.

0:35:50 > 0:35:54- Alana?- I manufacture cakes for food festivals, country shows.

0:35:54 > 0:35:58- You react badly to being shouted at. - Yeah.

0:35:58 > 0:36:00Well, you'll need some earplugs here, I can tell you.

0:36:00 > 0:36:03In terms of our pricing, are we going to go dropping?

0:36:03 > 0:36:07In the first task, she took on the sub team leader role.

0:36:07 > 0:36:11- Knock 25% off.- Knock 25% off. - Go to 50% if you absolutely have to.

0:36:11 > 0:36:15- Go to 50 is we can, right.- No, not if you can, if you HAVE to!- Yeah.

0:36:15 > 0:36:20But, as prices dropped, so did profits.

0:36:20 > 0:36:23The pricing was completely overlooked.

0:36:23 > 0:36:27There was a lack of organisation and a lack of leadership.

0:36:27 > 0:36:29I absolutely don't think I'm responsible

0:36:29 > 0:36:31for the failure of this task. Absolutely not.

0:36:32 > 0:36:35I don't think I was one of the weakest ones in week one

0:36:35 > 0:36:38but I just almost took all the blame

0:36:38 > 0:36:42and I think, in doing that, you're putting so much on your shoulders

0:36:42 > 0:36:43and that's why I was so emotional.

0:36:45 > 0:36:48After a bruising first boardroom, in task two,

0:36:48 > 0:36:51Alana clashed with her project manager.

0:36:51 > 0:36:54- It's all so disjointed. - It's not disjointed.

0:36:54 > 0:36:56You're coming up with problems to our solutions.

0:36:56 > 0:37:01We lost last week and we're going to lose again and it's embarrassing.

0:37:01 > 0:37:04And she was back in the firing line.

0:37:04 > 0:37:08Can you explain to me why you brought these two ladies back in?

0:37:08 > 0:37:11Alana was nothing but disruptive. She didn't listen.

0:37:11 > 0:37:13It just wasn't a great atmosphere.

0:37:13 > 0:37:16Can I explain what happened because you probably think

0:37:16 > 0:37:19I'm a real quiet character but I'm actually not?

0:37:19 > 0:37:21You're not doing very well at the moment at convincing me

0:37:21 > 0:37:23as to why you should stay in the process really.

0:37:23 > 0:37:28The boardroom is the most scary thing you'll ever do in your life.

0:37:28 > 0:37:30I was just like, "I'm going to go home now",

0:37:30 > 0:37:33and, you know, just thought that was it and lost my words.

0:37:33 > 0:37:35Literally, nothing was coming out.

0:37:35 > 0:37:38And he was looking at me, going like, "Come on, say something.

0:37:38 > 0:37:40"Fight and you can stay."

0:37:40 > 0:37:42- Are you ready to talk to me?- Yes.

0:37:42 > 0:37:45Um, so, I...

0:37:45 > 0:37:47I think I can, um...

0:37:47 > 0:37:49I'm...

0:37:53 > 0:37:54This is so embarrassing.

0:37:54 > 0:37:57I've never in all my years in the boardroom seen anyone dry up

0:37:57 > 0:37:58as much as Alana did.

0:37:58 > 0:38:02It sort of appeared to me that she was completely paralysed by fear.

0:38:02 > 0:38:08It was just a nightmare, so week one and two were not my finest moments.

0:38:10 > 0:38:14As a youngster, Alana was rarely lost for words.

0:38:14 > 0:38:17I was very confident as a kid.

0:38:17 > 0:38:19Not so much as an adult.

0:38:21 > 0:38:25The elder of two girls, she had an unconventional upbringing.

0:38:27 > 0:38:31My parents were hippy travellers. They were free-spirited.

0:38:31 > 0:38:34They didn't want to work, um...

0:38:34 > 0:38:37They DID work, but they didn't want to.

0:38:38 > 0:38:41Alana was brought up without very much.

0:38:41 > 0:38:44She was often told that she couldn't have things that she wanted

0:38:44 > 0:38:47and I think that's where her drive to have

0:38:47 > 0:38:52a comfortable life and to run a successful business came from.

0:38:52 > 0:38:56The fact that Alana didn't have much money as a child

0:38:56 > 0:38:58has really made her want to make money.

0:38:58 > 0:39:03She's very sort of mindful of making maximum money.

0:39:04 > 0:39:08And Alana soon showed a talent for turning a profit.

0:39:08 > 0:39:11I set up my first business in school.

0:39:11 > 0:39:14I was making cards.

0:39:14 > 0:39:17I actually sacked my best friend when we were 14 years old

0:39:17 > 0:39:20cos she didn't make the cards quick enough

0:39:20 > 0:39:23and we needed to make good money on these cards

0:39:23 > 0:39:25and her sticking ability wasn't on point.

0:39:25 > 0:39:27When we were at school,

0:39:27 > 0:39:31Alana would always think of schemes to get pocket money.

0:39:31 > 0:39:33She'd make us go and stand on the street,

0:39:33 > 0:39:36she made us go and hoover her mum's car once.

0:39:36 > 0:39:42- We did just do what she wanted to do cos it was easier.- Mm, it was.

0:39:43 > 0:39:47As a teenager, Alana got a taste for selling food.

0:39:47 > 0:39:50She had an interest in making cakes

0:39:50 > 0:39:55and then she sold them to my brother and he sold them as corporate gifts.

0:39:55 > 0:39:59Alana's chocolates were very popular through our business,

0:39:59 > 0:40:01so from an early age,

0:40:01 > 0:40:03she was always showing signs

0:40:03 > 0:40:07of how she was actually going to make a few pounds from her cooking.

0:40:08 > 0:40:13So, in week three, a task making and selling sweets...

0:40:13 > 0:40:15Alana, you're in the bakery business.

0:40:15 > 0:40:17You need to be the project manager.

0:40:17 > 0:40:20..seemed to play to Alana's skills.

0:40:20 > 0:40:24I was set an ultimatum, was how I saw it.

0:40:24 > 0:40:26"Show me what you've got or you're going to go."

0:40:26 > 0:40:28Everything was riding on it.

0:40:28 > 0:40:30- CLAUDE:- It was very important for Alana

0:40:30 > 0:40:32to make a success of this particular task.

0:40:32 > 0:40:34After all, this is basically her industry

0:40:34 > 0:40:36and after two fairly dismal performances,

0:40:36 > 0:40:38it was pretty important that she showed

0:40:38 > 0:40:41that she was worthy of remaining in the process.

0:40:41 > 0:40:44- In the kitchen... - Don't just stand over that.

0:40:44 > 0:40:46Do a bag, mix it, do a bag, mix it.

0:40:46 > 0:40:49..she kept a close eye on her cooks.

0:40:49 > 0:40:52Guys, if we lose because we've not got a lot of product...

0:40:52 > 0:40:54We're not going to lose. We're going to win!

0:40:54 > 0:40:55Alana created direction.

0:40:55 > 0:40:58She knew exactly what she was doing with the product.

0:40:58 > 0:41:01If yours is going to take five hours, it needs to take less.

0:41:01 > 0:41:04She was fantastic and from there,

0:41:04 > 0:41:06I believe her confidence started to grow.

0:41:08 > 0:41:10But on the second day...

0:41:10 > 0:41:12I just want to have a quick chat.

0:41:12 > 0:41:14..her pricing strategy...

0:41:14 > 0:41:16- Two for £6.- Two for £6, OK.

0:41:16 > 0:41:19..wasn't followed by the whole team.

0:41:19 > 0:41:22Would you like some sweets? One for £3.50. Two for £7.

0:41:22 > 0:41:24Samuel, don't change the price.

0:41:24 > 0:41:27I'm getting more, if anything. It's a good thing. Two for £7.

0:41:27 > 0:41:30- We can't all be selling at different prices.- Hello, how are you doing?

0:41:30 > 0:41:33The one thing Alana's had to contend with in this process

0:41:33 > 0:41:35is people underestimating her

0:41:35 > 0:41:37and she's had to push a lot harder than everybody else

0:41:37 > 0:41:39to get people to see things her way.

0:41:40 > 0:41:43- In the end though... - Well, Titans, you've done it.

0:41:43 > 0:41:47..Alana led her team to a sweet victory.

0:41:47 > 0:41:50My most proud moment was finding out we'd won that task.

0:41:50 > 0:41:52If had have lost,

0:41:52 > 0:41:54I don't think I'd have sold another cake in my life.

0:41:54 > 0:41:57Alana did exactly what she had to do on that task.

0:41:57 > 0:42:00She showed Alan that she really means business.

0:42:00 > 0:42:07While still at school, Alana made a decision which would transform her

0:42:07 > 0:42:10from teenage baker to business owner.

0:42:10 > 0:42:13Alana has always been very business minded

0:42:13 > 0:42:16but I think when her A levels didn't go so well,

0:42:16 > 0:42:19that was when the business really kick-started.

0:42:19 > 0:42:24I got a grant when I was 18 and had the kit-out of a commercial kitchen.

0:42:24 > 0:42:28It's like a small factory on the side of my parents' house.

0:42:28 > 0:42:34So, I go there, bake and then on Friday,

0:42:34 > 0:42:39get up really early and sell and then it repeats every week.

0:42:40 > 0:42:45The gamble to leave school proved a recipe for success.

0:42:45 > 0:42:48I knew potentially how challenging it would be

0:42:48 > 0:42:53but, over the years, it's really gone from strength to strength.

0:42:53 > 0:42:58Alana's got that dogged determination and drive

0:42:58 > 0:43:02to be an incredibly successful businessperson.

0:43:05 > 0:43:07Alana's business is now so successful...

0:43:07 > 0:43:10Gooey chocolate brownie. Sound good?

0:43:10 > 0:43:13..she also employs her boyfriend, Bart.

0:43:13 > 0:43:14They're only five for a tenner

0:43:14 > 0:43:17if you'd like anything else at all, mix and match.

0:43:17 > 0:43:19'Alana's brain is always on business.

0:43:19 > 0:43:21'We've been doing it for three years and we haven't been on holiday yet.'

0:43:21 > 0:43:23There we go. Thank you.

0:43:23 > 0:43:25'We're both so happy to be working'

0:43:25 > 0:43:29and don't really feel the need for a holiday. Apparently, they're great.

0:43:29 > 0:43:34- ALL: Alana, we love your cakes! We know you're going to win!- Delicious!

0:43:37 > 0:43:40In week seven, it was the boat show.

0:43:40 > 0:43:42Do you have a Jet Ski or a boat?

0:43:42 > 0:43:45You're a lucky person because we've got a deal for you!

0:43:45 > 0:43:49- As the teams struggled to sell... - Thank you.

0:43:49 > 0:43:51..another candidate closed Alana's deal.

0:43:51 > 0:43:55- Dillon, that was not cool. - That was my sale.

0:43:55 > 0:43:58I was speaking to them before you were speaking to them, initially.

0:43:58 > 0:44:01To come over when someone is talking, that's not cool.

0:44:01 > 0:44:03- That's fine, Alana. - We all want to make sales.

0:44:03 > 0:44:06Let's be positive for the last moment, guys.

0:44:07 > 0:44:09On the boat show task, we saw, yet again,

0:44:09 > 0:44:14people pushing Alana around, yet again not listening to her opinion.

0:44:14 > 0:44:18But what was different this time was Alana's reaction.

0:44:19 > 0:44:21Alana, £42 worth of sales.

0:44:21 > 0:44:23I think certain individuals throughout the process

0:44:23 > 0:44:26haven't shown the ability to engage and sell very well.

0:44:26 > 0:44:30Samuel, you sold more than anyone else - £78.

0:44:30 > 0:44:32But it was only two more fish.

0:44:32 > 0:44:34That's what's infuriating about this.

0:44:34 > 0:44:36Alana, I'm going to speak now because through the whole process...

0:44:36 > 0:44:41- No! Wait, wait.- It's getting frustrating...- Samuel, let me speak.

0:44:41 > 0:44:46You are a salesman and you did not sell a single board.

0:44:46 > 0:44:48The change in Alana was incredible.

0:44:48 > 0:44:51She'd gone from this very softly spoken young woman

0:44:51 > 0:44:54into this feisty, determined businessperson.

0:44:54 > 0:44:58- Alana, I'm going to allow you to remain in this process.- Thank you.

0:44:58 > 0:45:00She fought her way through the boardroom

0:45:00 > 0:45:04and I think she showed us that she's made of steely stuff.

0:45:04 > 0:45:07CHEERING

0:45:07 > 0:45:10The change in Alana through this process is crazy.

0:45:10 > 0:45:12She is transformed from this young little girl,

0:45:12 > 0:45:15this quiet little thing, to this confident, confident woman.

0:45:15 > 0:45:18- We can smash it.- Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she wins.

0:45:18 > 0:45:21- Do you want to do a shop where it's actually a sweet? Happy?- Happy.

0:45:21 > 0:45:24- CLAUDE:- Alana started off pretty weakly.

0:45:24 > 0:45:26She's lucky to have not gone within the first few weeks.

0:45:26 > 0:45:29I think we've got this, that's what I'm saying.

0:45:29 > 0:45:32- CLAUDE:- But as the process has moved forward, so has she.

0:45:32 > 0:45:35I really want to be project manager on this.

0:45:35 > 0:45:38Do not bring up the negatives in a big pitch.

0:45:38 > 0:45:40And I hope that in the interview stage

0:45:40 > 0:45:43she demonstrates further strength of character.

0:45:43 > 0:45:46ALL: Good luck, Alana! We know you can do it!

0:45:46 > 0:45:48We're all behind you at home. We love you, we miss you.

0:45:48 > 0:45:50We can't wait to see you bring it home.

0:45:50 > 0:45:52'I know that I've got a strong business plan'

0:45:52 > 0:45:55and I would be absolutely honoured if I won this

0:45:55 > 0:45:58and it would be the best thing in the world.

0:45:59 > 0:46:01I'd probably cry.

0:46:04 > 0:46:09Finally, online fashion entrepreneur Jessica Cunningham.

0:46:09 > 0:46:13'My friends say I'm the female version of Jim Carrey.' Hello!

0:46:13 > 0:46:16I'm quite animated with my face and I go crazy with my hands.

0:46:16 > 0:46:19- Energetic...- Ooh!

0:46:19 > 0:46:23..emotional and a tireless salesperson.

0:46:23 > 0:46:25I can see you eyeing them up. They're absolutely delicious.

0:46:25 > 0:46:28I've got a four-year-old with one of these. She absolutely loves them.

0:46:28 > 0:46:30Come on, Michael, shake on it.

0:46:31 > 0:46:34- Right from the start... - Jessica.- Hello!

0:46:34 > 0:46:36..Jessica stood out.

0:46:36 > 0:46:40- Who else was digital marketing here? - Tough competition!

0:46:40 > 0:46:44She can talk, talk, talk, and she's no full stop,

0:46:44 > 0:46:46she's no breathing, she's no filter.

0:46:46 > 0:46:48- You're very excited, aren't you? - I am, can you tell?

0:46:48 > 0:46:51- I'm really nervous.- Take a breath.

0:46:52 > 0:46:56- Hello! - Jessica is this bundle of energy.

0:46:56 > 0:46:59- Come here, let me talk to you both. - She's like a Duracell bunny.

0:46:59 > 0:47:01What does your store look like?

0:47:01 > 0:47:03Have you got umbrellas or have you got a wooden stall?

0:47:03 > 0:47:06- Jessica is like no-one I've ever met.- This is not an antique, is it?

0:47:06 > 0:47:09She's pretty nuts in the house and she's pretty nuts on task.

0:47:09 > 0:47:12Ooh, catch!

0:47:12 > 0:47:13Ooh!

0:47:17 > 0:47:23Jessica's big personality shone through even from a young age.

0:47:23 > 0:47:28Jessica as a child is pretty much a smaller version of what she is now,

0:47:28 > 0:47:30so she's always been full of character

0:47:30 > 0:47:32and as she's got older, she's just got more of it.

0:47:34 > 0:47:37Academically, I wasn't interested in schooling.

0:47:37 > 0:47:40I could never get my head stuck into subjects. I just wasn't...

0:47:40 > 0:47:43I'm more of a creative person more than an academic person.

0:47:46 > 0:47:50Now 29, Jessica's a single mum

0:47:50 > 0:47:52with three daughters...

0:47:52 > 0:47:56- How do you make it go? - ..Poppy, Olive and Hattie.

0:47:56 > 0:48:00I've always had drive to do well but, since having children,

0:48:00 > 0:48:02the drive is definitely maximised.

0:48:02 > 0:48:05It's always hard being the breadwinner

0:48:05 > 0:48:07because you have got three people who rely on you

0:48:07 > 0:48:10but, knowing my character and knowing my strengths,

0:48:10 > 0:48:14I knew I could do it and I HAVE done it and I AM supporting them.

0:48:16 > 0:48:19Today, Jessica has her own business,

0:48:19 > 0:48:22designing and selling women's clothes.

0:48:22 > 0:48:26I set up an online fashion brand with my sister

0:48:26 > 0:48:29because I love fashion, I love PR, I love marketing

0:48:29 > 0:48:32and I wanted to do something that combined everything

0:48:32 > 0:48:34and it's really coming off.

0:48:34 > 0:48:39The company uses celebrities to endorse her products.

0:48:39 > 0:48:41Jessica is a very creative person

0:48:41 > 0:48:43and she's also strong business minded.

0:48:43 > 0:48:45She's got this lust,

0:48:45 > 0:48:48this passion for success and a passion for business.

0:48:48 > 0:48:49She loves building new projects

0:48:49 > 0:48:52and she's always had that ever since being young.

0:48:54 > 0:48:58So, week two's task seemed a perfect fit for Jessica's skills.

0:48:58 > 0:49:03- Can we please think of brand names? - Design and market a new jeans brand.

0:49:03 > 0:49:06On task two, I felt like I would be the perfect project manager

0:49:06 > 0:49:09for the role. It was a fashion advertising campaign.

0:49:09 > 0:49:10It was a no-brainer for me.

0:49:10 > 0:49:14But things quickly came apart at the seams.

0:49:14 > 0:49:18Team A are going to be in charge of the brand and TV advert.

0:49:18 > 0:49:19You don't want me doing branding

0:49:19 > 0:49:21even though that's what I do every day?

0:49:21 > 0:49:24THE CANDIDATES TALK OVER EACH OTHER

0:49:24 > 0:49:27Let me finish, please. Everyone's talking over... OK.

0:49:27 > 0:49:28Um... Oh, gosh.

0:49:28 > 0:49:30In the advertising jeans task,

0:49:30 > 0:49:34Jessica was quick to put herself forward as project manager

0:49:34 > 0:49:36but I think it was the wrong decision.

0:49:36 > 0:49:38I underestimated how difficult

0:49:38 > 0:49:41trying to control a group of girls was.

0:49:43 > 0:49:46I'm a bit concerned about Rebecca as sub team manager.

0:49:46 > 0:49:48If you call her and put her down,

0:49:48 > 0:49:50it's going to cause friction in the group.

0:49:50 > 0:49:52You will completely destabilize the team.

0:49:52 > 0:49:55It was just horrific. It was horrific.

0:49:57 > 0:50:00The one issue is, we can't find the jeans.

0:50:00 > 0:50:04So, you're doing photographs for your jean campaign

0:50:04 > 0:50:06without your jeans?

0:50:07 > 0:50:09Right...

0:50:09 > 0:50:12Jessica has experience in marketing and in fashion,

0:50:12 > 0:50:15so this should have been a task that she was really good at.

0:50:15 > 0:50:17I'm sorry...

0:50:17 > 0:50:20But instead, she just let her emotions get the better of her

0:50:20 > 0:50:22and she fell apart.

0:50:22 > 0:50:26- I'm so sorry. - Jessica, Jessica, go outside,

0:50:26 > 0:50:29go and take a breath, calm yourself down.

0:50:30 > 0:50:33JESSICA SOBS

0:50:35 > 0:50:38Jessica, you cracked up on the first day, part of the first day.

0:50:38 > 0:50:40- Definitely, yeah.- Yeah.

0:50:40 > 0:50:43Honestly, that's not me but I did, unfortunately.

0:50:43 > 0:50:45I had a couple of the stronger characters undermining me

0:50:45 > 0:50:48and flapping me and I'm flapping now, but...

0:50:48 > 0:50:49Sorry, I lost my train of thought.

0:50:50 > 0:50:54'I think Jessica knew she hadn't done a good job of leading'

0:50:54 > 0:50:56and all her hopes and aspirations

0:50:56 > 0:50:59and the reason she was in this process, I think she felt

0:50:59 > 0:51:03was just slipping away from her and it all overwhelmed her.

0:51:04 > 0:51:07- Jessica, why shouldn't I fire you? - Because the only reason why I'm here

0:51:07 > 0:51:09is because I want you as a business partner.

0:51:09 > 0:51:12- Well, so does everyone else. - I know, but I want it more!

0:51:12 > 0:51:16'I felt like a massive failure after that task,'

0:51:16 > 0:51:17a massive failure.

0:51:20 > 0:51:23Despite that disastrous task,

0:51:23 > 0:51:27Jessica's very first clothing venture had been a success.

0:51:27 > 0:51:31Aged just 25, she founded Famous Frocks.

0:51:31 > 0:51:37I decided to set up my business because I loved working for myself.

0:51:37 > 0:51:38I had an interest in fashion

0:51:38 > 0:51:41and I just wanted to make money to support my children.

0:51:41 > 0:51:46Two years later, Jessica was pregnant with her third child.

0:51:46 > 0:51:50Her children's father was also Jessica's business partner.

0:51:50 > 0:51:52We turned over a lot of money

0:51:52 > 0:51:55and I thought the business should be run one way,

0:51:55 > 0:51:57he thought it should be run another way.

0:51:57 > 0:52:00Unfortunately, it just got run into the ground.

0:52:00 > 0:52:03Having three children and having a business, something gave

0:52:03 > 0:52:06and, unfortunately, that was our relationship.

0:52:06 > 0:52:10Obviously, I was devastated but, you know, you just get on with it.

0:52:11 > 0:52:15I think for Jessica, that time was very hard for her.

0:52:15 > 0:52:17When any relationship ends, it's horrible anyway,

0:52:17 > 0:52:20but the business was her life and soul

0:52:20 > 0:52:22and everything went into that company,

0:52:22 > 0:52:24so it was such a shame when it ended.

0:52:24 > 0:52:28Jessica was determined to get back on her feet.

0:52:28 > 0:52:31When me and my partner separated,

0:52:31 > 0:52:34my friend Charlotte offered me a job to come in and do sales

0:52:34 > 0:52:38for a marketing company and it just gave me something which I needed

0:52:38 > 0:52:41which I felt like I'd lost, if that makes sense.

0:52:41 > 0:52:43I think when we started working together,

0:52:43 > 0:52:48Jessica got a new lease for life because she was back being creative,

0:52:48 > 0:52:51she was back doing sales, she was back doing something

0:52:51 > 0:52:54that she loved and it was nice for her to have something to focus on

0:52:54 > 0:52:56and she just threw herself into it.

0:52:58 > 0:53:01Now, she splits her time between business

0:53:01 > 0:53:05- and raising her daughters. - Over the last 18 months for Jessica,

0:53:05 > 0:53:08it's been a massive change.

0:53:08 > 0:53:11I think she's done outstanding to go through the heartbreak and pain

0:53:11 > 0:53:12and pick herself back up

0:53:12 > 0:53:15every single time. She's a real fighter.

0:53:15 > 0:53:18Being my own boss and having three children

0:53:18 > 0:53:20is quite possibly the most stressful thing,

0:53:20 > 0:53:23but I just get on with it and I like the sense of achievement,

0:53:23 > 0:53:26knowing that I am supporting my three girls

0:53:26 > 0:53:28and knowing that I am their role model

0:53:28 > 0:53:30and I am the most important person in their life.

0:53:30 > 0:53:34Jessica wasn't to be defeated in the process either.

0:53:34 > 0:53:35Hello, are you OK?

0:53:35 > 0:53:39- It was her sales skills... - £145. Can I tempt you?

0:53:39 > 0:53:42..that turned her fortunes around.

0:53:42 > 0:53:44So, that's just £165. There you go.

0:53:44 > 0:53:46- Thank you very much.- Cheers. - Thank you.

0:53:46 > 0:53:48After a pretty shaky start,

0:53:48 > 0:53:52we finally saw Jessica start to shine in the department store task.

0:53:52 > 0:53:55- It's amazing.- Really nice. - She was everywhere.

0:53:55 > 0:53:58She was in the window, encouraging people to come in,

0:53:58 > 0:54:02she was on the shop floor selling product. It was impressive.

0:54:02 > 0:54:05So, that's £595 altogether. Thank you.

0:54:05 > 0:54:07'I know I'm good at sales.'

0:54:07 > 0:54:09It's beautiful. You've made the right choice.

0:54:09 > 0:54:13So, I was determined every time out of that window I would make a sale.

0:54:13 > 0:54:16- The window display looks great. Go in for a couple of minutes.- Yeah.

0:54:16 > 0:54:17'But every time I'd make a sale,

0:54:17 > 0:54:19'Sofiane would put me back in the window.'

0:54:19 > 0:54:20It was so humiliating.

0:54:20 > 0:54:23- She's selling the most here. - There's no-one to sell to,

0:54:23 > 0:54:26so if she goes and charms them, bring them in, then we sell.

0:54:26 > 0:54:29- You go then.- You go then.- No, I'm selling.- I'm selling as well.

0:54:29 > 0:54:33- KARREN:- Sofiane and Samuel really boast about their sales ability

0:54:33 > 0:54:35but, frankly, Jessica wiped the floor with them.

0:54:36 > 0:54:39- This is your window display, right? - When it was quiet,

0:54:39 > 0:54:42I was quite happy to go into the window to try and drag people in.

0:54:42 > 0:54:44- Like a Punch and Judy show. - Pretty much, yes.

0:54:44 > 0:54:46Well, it didn't stand in your way

0:54:46 > 0:54:50- cos you were the highest salesperson on your team.- Thank you.- Good.

0:54:51 > 0:54:54How is everybody enjoying the expo today? Yeah!

0:54:54 > 0:54:56And, as the weeks continued...

0:54:56 > 0:54:58We've got a special price today. £399.

0:54:58 > 0:55:03..Jessica was the top seller in numerous tasks.

0:55:03 > 0:55:08- OK.- Are we having one?- Yeah. - Fantastic! Whoa!

0:55:08 > 0:55:11I think Jessica came into the process as a sort of ball of energy,

0:55:11 > 0:55:14almost couldn't believe she was IN the process.

0:55:14 > 0:55:16Choose your concept, then we'll think of the ideas around.

0:55:16 > 0:55:19But as the process went on, she toned down
