0:01:27 > 0:01:30there have been dangerously high winds at this year's Olympics

0:01:30 > 0:01:33and as we learnt recently, even the lightest of winds

0:02:13 > 0:02:14Oh!

0:02:16 > 0:02:18Hello, lovely woman. Hi.

0:02:18 > 0:02:20Come in, come in, sit down, Alicia.

0:02:20 > 0:02:23She shot to fame as CJ in The West Wing,

0:02:46 > 0:02:48in Hollywood. It's Margot Robbie!

0:02:48 > 0:02:49CHEERING

0:02:49 > 0:02:51Whoo!

0:02:52 > 0:02:54Hi! Ah, so good to see you. Mwah, mwah.

0:02:54 > 0:02:56Come in, sit down.

0:03:00 > 0:03:04Hello, everybody. I tell you, this is a weekend and a half.

0:03:04 > 0:03:06It's BAFTAs of course, this weekend.

0:03:06 > 0:03:08- Are you all going to the BAFTAs? - I am.- Yeah.- Yeah.

0:03:08 > 0:03:10I'm not.

0:03:10 > 0:03:12Oh, God!

0:03:12 > 0:03:13That's awkward(!)

0:03:14 > 0:03:18But we've got to celebrate this sofa, because it is extraordinary.

0:03:18 > 0:03:22So Margot and Allison, both BAFTA and Oscar-nominated for I, Tonya.

0:03:22 > 0:03:25SOMEONE WHOOPS A round of applause, yes!

0:03:28 > 0:03:30And Margot, you're kind of wearing two hats,

0:03:30 > 0:03:32because you produce this movie as well.

0:03:32 > 0:03:35- Yes.- Which is a big deal. - It's a lot of work, yeah!

0:03:36 > 0:03:40And obviously, it's a skating movie. There's a lot of ice skating in it.

0:03:40 > 0:03:43- So do you do... I mean, how much of it...?- I was so impressed.

0:03:43 > 0:03:45- All of it.- All of it.

0:03:45 > 0:03:47You did all of it? I mean, you must have...

0:03:47 > 0:03:49I am competing at the Winter Olympics this season.

0:03:52 > 0:03:56No, anything really impressive was not me. Everything else was me.

0:03:56 > 0:03:58But you must have done it since you were...

0:03:58 > 0:04:01No, I grew up in Australia, there's no ice on the Gold Coast!

0:04:03 > 0:04:05And Allison, there you are,

0:04:05 > 0:04:07you got armfuls of Emmys

0:04:07 > 0:04:09when you played CJ in the West Wing.

0:04:09 > 0:04:12- Yeah.- Because everyone loves the West Wing.

0:04:13 > 0:04:16But this is weird, I didn't know that people somehow got confused.

0:04:16 > 0:04:19They thought that CJ was real.

0:04:19 > 0:04:22They wanted so much of that show to be real.

0:04:22 > 0:04:25I mean, we would go on trips from LA to do exteriors in Washington,

0:04:25 > 0:04:28we'd go through the airport and people would refer to

0:04:28 > 0:04:31Martin Sheen as Mr President and he was happy to, you know, do this.

0:04:33 > 0:04:36He loved being called Mr President, I think people...

0:04:36 > 0:04:40CJ was such a great, such an iconic female role on television,

0:04:40 > 0:04:45this incredibly smart woman operating, you know, at her

0:04:45 > 0:04:48best in a male dominated arena

0:04:48 > 0:04:52and, um, I got offers for jobs in Washington...

0:04:52 > 0:04:54Really?

0:04:54 > 0:04:58..a news station and somewhere as a political pundit,

0:04:58 > 0:05:02I was like, "Are you aware that I'm an actress and this is just...

0:05:02 > 0:05:04"I play CJ on TV, but I cannot..."

0:05:04 > 0:05:07You know, "I'm not going to run for office, I can't be a pundit."

0:05:07 > 0:05:09But it was extraordinary to me and it also made me

0:05:09 > 0:05:13very shy about meeting people, because I'm so not CJ.

0:05:13 > 0:05:15Of all the characters I've ever played,

0:05:15 > 0:05:17I would most like to be like CJ.

0:05:17 > 0:05:20- Well, good luck this weekend with the BAFTAs.- Thank you.

0:05:20 > 0:05:21- And the Oscars.- Thank you.

0:05:21 > 0:05:24Now, Alicia Vikander, there's a sort of smug glow around Alicia,

0:05:24 > 0:05:26cos she's WON an Oscar.

0:05:26 > 0:05:30The others are just hopefuls thus far. Alicia's got one.

0:05:30 > 0:05:31I still don't believe it, really.

0:05:31 > 0:05:33For The Danish Girl,

0:05:33 > 0:05:35but have you actually been united with the Oscar yet?

0:05:35 > 0:05:39This has been a question that has been returning, but I haven't.

0:05:39 > 0:05:42I only had one night with Oscar and then...

0:05:44 > 0:05:47I had to go back to work, I left LA

0:05:47 > 0:05:50and I said to my friend, "I think it's too heavy,

0:05:50 > 0:05:52"I can't carry it in hand luggage",

0:05:52 > 0:05:54so her daughter...

0:05:54 > 0:05:55Can I just say...

0:05:55 > 0:05:58I want a bigger level of gratitude than that.

0:05:58 > 0:06:00"It's too heavy, I'm not taking it home."

0:06:00 > 0:06:05No, it's just because I've been on the move for quite a few years...

0:06:05 > 0:06:07I have a lot of shoes in my bag....

0:06:09 > 0:06:11So where is it? Just at a friend's house?

0:06:11 > 0:06:15I get updates from my friend's daughter, because she has Oscar

0:06:15 > 0:06:19in her room, so sometimes I get a little photo of what Oscar is up to.

0:06:20 > 0:06:22Not a lot, I imagine.

0:06:22 > 0:06:25Daniel Kaluuya, what an amazing year you've had.

0:06:25 > 0:06:27Cos this time last year, you know,

0:06:27 > 0:06:30this was not going to be the year that was coming.

0:06:30 > 0:06:33- This is amazing. - No, I was just chilling out.

0:06:34 > 0:06:35I was chilling...

0:06:35 > 0:06:37And then this film came out, I was like,

0:06:37 > 0:06:39I was doing this indie horror and...

0:06:39 > 0:06:41- No, it's been life-changing.- Yeah!

0:06:41 > 0:06:43And a lot's happened!

0:06:43 > 0:06:46So, Oscar-nominated for best actor, but also the BAFTAs this weekend.

0:06:46 > 0:06:49Come on, you've got to get something - you're nominated for Best Actor

0:06:49 > 0:06:51and Rising Star. That would be too cruel to give you nothing.

0:06:51 > 0:06:54I mean, it happened to Craig David at the Brits.

0:06:54 > 0:06:57Do you remember when Craig David...?

0:06:57 > 0:07:00He was nominated for six Brits and it didn't come home with nothing!

0:07:00 > 0:07:03If he can go away with... He had six!

0:07:03 > 0:07:04This is two, innit?

0:07:04 > 0:07:07That's a good attitude to have.

0:07:07 > 0:07:10- But David came back.- He came back.

0:07:10 > 0:07:12It took about 20 years, but he came back!

0:07:12 > 0:07:14So that's the plan, man. 20 years later, I'll go,

0:07:14 > 0:07:17"Yo, you've got to give me something, man."

0:07:17 > 0:07:20You've had some practice now with the big celebrity,

0:07:20 > 0:07:22- because of obviously the Golden Globes...- Yeah.

0:07:22 > 0:07:24So who did you meet at the Golden Globes?

0:07:24 > 0:07:27Er, how long have you got, man? Just like, so many.

0:07:27 > 0:07:30- Did you meet these guys at the Golden Globes?- Nah.

0:07:30 > 0:07:34I met... I met her before at these awards, Governors Awards, and she

0:07:34 > 0:07:37was really cool and we just spoke about stuff, it was really nice,

0:07:37 > 0:07:39and then, erm...

0:07:39 > 0:07:41- Then I met... I met Oprah. - Good story!

0:07:41 > 0:07:45- You were really nice. She was a nice person. It was cool.- It was nice!

0:07:45 > 0:07:48I couldn't believe he was English, because his accent was

0:07:48 > 0:07:50so flawless in Get Out and I was like, "Oh, my God."

0:07:50 > 0:07:53And any time I meet anyone who's English,

0:07:53 > 0:07:56I'm just immediately like, "I love London, I miss it! Do you live there?"

0:07:56 > 0:07:59- Ah!- I do!- So you talked about London.- We talked about London.

0:07:59 > 0:08:01No, I met...

0:08:01 > 0:08:04This is what happened, yes? I met Denzel...

0:08:05 > 0:08:09- Ooh!- I met Denzel and Oprah at the same time.

0:08:09 > 0:08:11It was like a segue, just...

0:08:11 > 0:08:15I don't know, this African American excellent segue of Black exc...

0:08:15 > 0:08:17I don't know what happened.

0:08:17 > 0:08:20Denzel came up to me with an English accent, like,

0:08:20 > 0:08:23"Cheers, mate" and I'm like, "What's happening?

0:08:23 > 0:08:25"How do you know who I am?"

0:08:25 > 0:08:29And then he went to his wife, like, "He thinks I don't know who he is!"

0:08:29 > 0:08:32And then he goes, "Come and meet Oprah!" And I was like...

0:08:33 > 0:08:35Let's meet O!

0:08:37 > 0:08:40Then I just hugged her. I hugged her so tightly.

0:08:40 > 0:08:42She felt so good, man.

0:08:42 > 0:08:43LAUGHTER

0:08:43 > 0:08:46- It's not even a joke, she felt good. - Apparently, she smells...

0:08:46 > 0:08:50- She has an amazing smell.- She smells amazing, Graham. I swear...

0:08:51 > 0:08:54- Oprah is just premium. Premium. - Can the rest of the couch...?

0:08:54 > 0:08:56You must have all met Oprah, does she smell amazing?

0:08:56 > 0:08:58I've never met Oprah, but when I do,

0:08:58 > 0:09:00- I'm going to hug her for sure. - I didn't smell her.

0:09:00 > 0:09:03I met her at the Golden Globes, but she was too far away.

0:09:03 > 0:09:05You've got to inhale deeply. Inhale deeply.

0:09:05 > 0:09:08We're all going to be following her around, sniffing...

0:09:08 > 0:09:11Now I know why there was suddenly such a nice smell in the room.

0:09:11 > 0:09:14Yeah, she was really cool. It was really surreal.

0:09:14 > 0:09:16Now, the film about Tonya Harding, I, Tonya.

0:09:16 > 0:09:19It opens here next Friday.

0:09:19 > 0:09:21Margot, you're the best person to tell us the story in a way,

0:09:21 > 0:09:25because when you read the script, you didn't know it was a true story.

0:09:25 > 0:09:26No, I didn't.

0:09:26 > 0:09:29I think probably anyone born after 1990 might not know who

0:09:29 > 0:09:31any of these people are,

0:09:31 > 0:09:33because I didn't and I got the whole way through the script

0:09:33 > 0:09:36thinking, "This is obviously not REALLY based on true events,

0:09:36 > 0:09:38"because it is so absurd."

0:09:38 > 0:09:41And then I went on the internet and was like,

0:09:41 > 0:09:42"Oh, my God, this all happened

0:09:42 > 0:09:46"in precise detail" that our writer captured, right down to the

0:09:46 > 0:09:48moments, like Allison's character

0:09:48 > 0:09:50wearing a fur coat with a bird on her shoulder

0:09:50 > 0:09:53doing an interview - like, that actually happened,

0:09:53 > 0:09:54you can look it up on YouTube.

0:09:54 > 0:09:57There was a lot to go off, thankfully, for us.

0:09:57 > 0:09:59And the central story is about her and this...

0:09:59 > 0:10:01Her rival, Nancy Kerrigan.

0:10:01 > 0:10:03Well, that's the story the world kind of new,

0:10:03 > 0:10:06but the film explores what her life really was like and the main

0:10:06 > 0:10:09relationships in her life were with her husband Jeff Gillooly

0:10:09 > 0:10:11and with her mum, LaVona

0:10:11 > 0:10:13and the other ones we focus on.

0:10:13 > 0:10:15Of course, the Nancy Kerrigan incident comes into the film

0:10:15 > 0:10:17later in the film, but you really start off and see how

0:10:17 > 0:10:21she grew up and what those really messed up relationships

0:10:21 > 0:10:23were like and how it affected the person she became.

0:10:23 > 0:10:25And I guess there's lots of footage of Tonya,

0:10:25 > 0:10:27both on the ice and off the ice,

0:10:27 > 0:10:28she was an ice skater.

0:10:28 > 0:10:32But not so much of the mum, so how do you go about that?

0:10:32 > 0:10:36- Do you care about accuracy if you don't have to?- Well, exactly.

0:10:36 > 0:10:38It was kind of liberating...

0:10:38 > 0:10:39I would have felt a little intimidated

0:10:39 > 0:10:43if I'd had to have met the real woman and I was kind of freed

0:10:43 > 0:10:47of that responsibility, so I looked at all the existing footage.

0:10:47 > 0:10:49There were a couple of documentaries,

0:10:49 > 0:10:51and I just watched them over and over and over again

0:10:51 > 0:10:54and listened to the incredible stories that Tonya...

0:10:54 > 0:10:55My friend Steven Rogers who wrote it,

0:10:55 > 0:10:57he interviewed both Tonya and Jeff Gillooly,

0:10:57 > 0:10:59her husband and they disagreed

0:10:59 > 0:11:01on absolutely everything except

0:11:01 > 0:11:06for LaVona, who she was and how she acted and how she treated Tonya.

0:11:06 > 0:11:08So I had those stories

0:11:08 > 0:11:11and then I got to make her up myself. I got to create her.

0:11:11 > 0:11:14You know, you see this in the film and kind of think that can't be

0:11:14 > 0:11:17what she looked like, but then you see the footage at the end...

0:11:17 > 0:11:19Yeah, when I read the script,

0:11:19 > 0:11:20I said "Steven, how the hell...?

0:11:20 > 0:11:23"This wig and the fur coat and the bird and the alcohol -

0:11:23 > 0:11:26"how did you think of this, you know, specific look?"

0:11:26 > 0:11:30And he said, "Wait, let me just send you a little documentary",

0:11:30 > 0:11:34then I looked and that's what this lady wore, that's what she chose.

0:11:34 > 0:11:37Cos in this country, we do think Deirdre Barlow. Anyone else?

0:11:38 > 0:11:40I'll tell you something. The thing...

0:11:40 > 0:11:43The breathing tube, that was my idea at the last minute,

0:11:43 > 0:11:45because the bird handler said, "You can't smoke around the bird"

0:11:45 > 0:11:48and my character smoked in every scene in this movie

0:11:48 > 0:11:51and then we had to shoot this direct address that I do

0:11:51 > 0:11:52and the bird handler said no,

0:11:52 > 0:11:55and Craig Gillespie, our director, said, "Well, she has to smoke,

0:11:55 > 0:11:58"she smokes in every scene", and I asked the prop department

0:11:58 > 0:11:59if they had one of those...

0:11:59 > 0:12:01I thought, "Well, she must have

0:12:01 > 0:12:03"emphysema if she smoked her whole life", so they did,

0:12:03 > 0:12:04they had the breathing tube

0:12:04 > 0:12:07and the can of oxygen you see is on the couch next to me

0:12:07 > 0:12:08during that scene.

0:12:08 > 0:12:12And then the bird became fascinated with the breathing tube

0:12:12 > 0:12:16and kept pecking at it, the entire time I was doing the scene.

0:12:16 > 0:12:18I tried to just not let it bother me

0:12:18 > 0:12:20because we only had two hours to shoot that scene and

0:12:20 > 0:12:24I was not going to let that bird stop me from telling my story.

0:12:24 > 0:12:26It was... Amazing.

0:12:26 > 0:12:28Listen, we've got a clip from I, Tonya.

0:12:28 > 0:12:31This is Tonya on... I think it's her first date,

0:12:31 > 0:12:33or an early date

0:12:33 > 0:12:34with her husband-to-be,

0:12:34 > 0:12:36but they're not alone.

0:12:36 > 0:12:39Are you a gardener or a flower, John?

0:12:40 > 0:12:41It's Jeff.

0:12:44 > 0:12:46In a relationship, there's a flower and gardener.

0:12:48 > 0:12:49Um...

0:12:50 > 0:12:52- You don't need to... - I don't know, I mean, I...

0:12:52 > 0:12:54I just thought...

0:12:55 > 0:12:59- I'm a gardener who wants to be a flower, how fucked am I?- Mum!- What?

0:13:02 > 0:13:04You two fuck yet?

0:13:04 > 0:13:06LAUGHTER AND APPLAUSE

0:13:12 > 0:13:14That was actually...

0:13:14 > 0:13:17We were doing coverage of Margot and Sebastian and I was off-camera

0:13:17 > 0:13:19and sometimes, when I'm off-camera,

0:13:19 > 0:13:22I like to give the people on camera something different to get them...

0:13:22 > 0:13:24a reaction, and that was not LeVona's line,

0:13:24 > 0:13:26- but I was trying to shock them... - Not in the script at all.

0:13:26 > 0:13:29It wasn't in the script and I just was like, "You two f... yet?"

0:13:29 > 0:13:32To get this reaction out of them, so then Craig was like,

0:13:32 > 0:13:34"We've got to turn around, we've got to get you again."

0:13:34 > 0:13:35I was like, "Oh, no."

0:13:35 > 0:13:38Did you even know that we were meant to have our first sex scene

0:13:38 > 0:13:40later that night?

0:13:40 > 0:13:41- When you said that?- No.

0:13:41 > 0:13:43Oh. OK, because it was very evident

0:13:43 > 0:13:44in my mind, "Oh, it's the first one,

0:13:44 > 0:13:47"I hope it's not weird or anything like that", so you saying that...

0:13:47 > 0:13:49was like...

0:13:49 > 0:13:51caught me so by surprise and my face went so red

0:13:51 > 0:13:54and Sebastian choked on his drink and I was like...

0:13:55 > 0:13:58- It was so good, it got such a good reaction.- But this mother,

0:13:58 > 0:14:00I mean, she is a monster,

0:14:00 > 0:14:04but it SORT of comes from a good place or a...

0:14:04 > 0:14:05Um, well...!

0:14:06 > 0:14:08Yeah. In her mind, yeah.

0:14:08 > 0:14:10- Brings the results.- Yeah.

0:14:10 > 0:14:12The ends justify the means - in her mind,

0:14:12 > 0:14:15she wants her daughter to have this opportunity to be this incredible

0:14:15 > 0:14:18skater, she knows her daughter has undeniable talent

0:14:18 > 0:14:21and she wants her to succeed and have the things in life that

0:14:21 > 0:14:25come along with the talent that she has and in every way,

0:14:25 > 0:14:29she was crossed by either the figure skating community not embracing her,

0:14:29 > 0:14:33saying she needed a fur coat and they didn't have money to buy

0:14:33 > 0:14:35a fur coat, they didn't have money to...

0:14:35 > 0:14:37So she was very frustrated

0:14:37 > 0:14:41and knew that her daughter was motivated by being shamed or

0:14:41 > 0:14:44needled by saying, "You can't do it, you suck, you're terrible."

0:14:44 > 0:14:49It would motivate her to go out and skate better, so yeah,

0:14:49 > 0:14:52she's not going to win mother of the year, but I think her...

0:14:53 > 0:14:55Her heart was in the right place.

0:14:55 > 0:14:56Um...

0:14:56 > 0:14:58LAUGHTER

0:14:58 > 0:15:01Cos Daniel, your mum's quite into the tough love, isn't she?

0:15:01 > 0:15:03She's a beast, man.

0:15:04 > 0:15:07Amazing love and care, but she don't care. She's...

0:15:08 > 0:15:10It's the reason why...

0:15:10 > 0:15:12I remember, there was a time...

0:15:12 > 0:15:14I did my first play at the Royal Court and then like,

0:15:14 > 0:15:18it was press night, so I was like, "Mum, this is the casting director,

0:15:18 > 0:15:20"this is the woman who... The reason I got in the room",

0:15:20 > 0:15:22this, that and the other,

0:15:22 > 0:15:25and she was like, "When are you going to give him another job?"

0:15:25 > 0:15:27LAUGHTER

0:15:28 > 0:15:31I'm thinking, "This woman's going to ruin my career right now."

0:15:31 > 0:15:34INDISTINCT

0:15:34 > 0:15:36She was just like, yeah... The casting director was like...

0:15:36 > 0:15:39"When are you going to give him another job? He's not going uni."

0:15:39 > 0:15:40"He's not going uni.

0:15:40 > 0:15:43"He's ruining his life. You have to give him a job."

0:15:43 > 0:15:47"You've made him not go uni... You have to give him another one. When?"

0:15:47 > 0:15:49She was like, "Oh, there's some stuff coming up."

0:15:49 > 0:15:51She was answering, as well.

0:15:51 > 0:15:55And then like, I took her to the Get Out Premiere

0:15:55 > 0:15:57and was in the car, chilling,

0:15:57 > 0:15:59everyone was, "Good film, yeah..."

0:15:59 > 0:16:01And then like, I was like, "Mum,

0:16:01 > 0:16:03"what do you think about my American accent?"

0:16:03 > 0:16:04She was like, "Nearly there."

0:16:04 > 0:16:06LAUGHTER

0:16:06 > 0:16:08- Oof!- She's raw.

0:16:08 > 0:16:12But this is the woman you're bringing to the Oscars with you?

0:16:12 > 0:16:13Yeah, I have to, man.

0:16:13 > 0:16:15That could go horribly wrong, I feel!

0:16:15 > 0:16:17That's the fun bit!

0:16:18 > 0:16:21I want her to meet random people.

0:16:21 > 0:16:24She met Snoop Dogg the other day, it was amazing.

0:16:24 > 0:16:26She told me off all my life for playing Snoop Dogg out loud,

0:16:26 > 0:16:30and when she met him, she started giggling. I was like, "Look at you!"

0:16:30 > 0:16:33"Look at you." I took a picture. It was amazing.

0:16:33 > 0:16:36I want to meet your mum, it'd be awesome. I'm going to come say hi.

0:16:36 > 0:16:40- It's so funny you're all going to be there.- We can all hang out again.

0:16:40 > 0:16:42Yeah. You'll be at home watching.

0:16:45 > 0:16:49- Now, here's the thing - Alicia, your mother was an actress.- Yeah, she is.

0:16:49 > 0:16:52Is. But she was not a pushy mother, she was sort of the opposite.

0:16:52 > 0:16:55Yeah, I think anyone who's been in the industry knows how

0:16:55 > 0:16:58tough it is, so she was more like, "Are you really,

0:16:58 > 0:17:00"like, really, really, really sure?"

0:17:00 > 0:17:01You know, when I started out.

0:17:01 > 0:17:04I danced for many years and I think she had seen me

0:17:04 > 0:17:07being on that route for quite a long time, but, you know,

0:17:07 > 0:17:09it's her biggest passion,

0:17:09 > 0:17:12so I just saw her do what she did...

0:17:12 > 0:17:15Didn't she tried to stop you going to auditions?

0:17:15 > 0:17:16Yeah, I mean, when I was...

0:17:16 > 0:17:19My first audition, I was probably six or seven

0:17:19 > 0:17:22and had been in the theatre where they had this poster up that they

0:17:22 > 0:17:25were auditioning for young kids for this musical.

0:17:25 > 0:17:28I wanted to go and she was like, "No." That was it.

0:17:28 > 0:17:32Then I had to have a fit and scream and lock myself into my room

0:17:32 > 0:17:35for some time and then finally,

0:17:35 > 0:17:37she agreed for me to begin my career!

0:17:38 > 0:17:41- And did you get the part? - I did.- Oooh!

0:17:42 > 0:17:44GOOD screaming child.

0:17:45 > 0:17:47Talking of difficult children,

0:17:47 > 0:17:48Margot, I don't know if you

0:17:48 > 0:17:52were a terrible child, but do you know the story I'm talking about?

0:17:52 > 0:17:56Like you do not win any awards for being a good daughter.

0:17:56 > 0:17:58There are many stories where I don't win awards.

0:17:58 > 0:18:00I was not a great daughter.

0:18:00 > 0:18:03I am forever in my mum's debt because I was...

0:18:03 > 0:18:06such a brat and I feel really bad about it.

0:18:06 > 0:18:08Tell us the story about when you were on your computer

0:18:08 > 0:18:11- and she wanted your help. - Oh, yes. Yes, OK. I...

0:18:13 > 0:18:17I was on MSN, obviously, the most important thing at the time...

0:18:17 > 0:18:19God is in the details!

0:18:19 > 0:18:22And we moved out, like, out in the sticks

0:18:22 > 0:18:24and often snakes would get into the house

0:18:24 > 0:18:26and you know, it wasn't a big deal,

0:18:26 > 0:18:28but you'd have to chase them around

0:18:28 > 0:18:30and get it out, it was time-consuming and annoying.

0:18:30 > 0:18:33My mum yelled out and said, "Can you come help me?

0:18:33 > 0:18:37"This snake's really big, I can't get it on my own. Can you come help me?"

0:18:37 > 0:18:41and I was like, "I'm so busy, Mum. No, I can't."

0:18:41 > 0:18:44Just being a brat, and she was like, "Oh, I just...

0:18:44 > 0:18:45"Are you sure? Please?"

0:18:45 > 0:18:47And I was like, "Be gone."

0:18:47 > 0:18:49And, um...

0:18:49 > 0:18:51And then she WAS gone, like,

0:18:51 > 0:18:53for like, ten minutes, and I was like, "Oh,

0:18:53 > 0:18:55"she's been gone for ages."

0:18:55 > 0:19:00Then I got up from the computer, I could hear this, "Mm! Mm!"

0:19:00 > 0:19:02And I was like, "Oh, God, what's happening?" and I see Mum,

0:19:02 > 0:19:05she's made it halfway down the stairs and the snake,

0:19:05 > 0:19:07she'd tried to pick this big python up

0:19:07 > 0:19:10with a broom and a stick, but it had

0:19:10 > 0:19:13wound its way up around her arm

0:19:13 > 0:19:14and was going around her neck...

0:19:14 > 0:19:16trying to choke her.

0:19:16 > 0:19:19I love Australia, but I would never be able to live there!

0:19:19 > 0:19:21No, I'm painting a bad picture, it's really not bad, but...!

0:19:21 > 0:19:24Anyway, it wasn't a poisonous snake.

0:19:24 > 0:19:26But they do... They do strangle you!

0:19:28 > 0:19:30- I felt so bad. - How did you get it off her?

0:19:30 > 0:19:32You've just got to give it something else to climb on,

0:19:32 > 0:19:35so get a stick or something, it starts weaving its way around that

0:19:35 > 0:19:39- and you can transfer its weight... - Good to know.- That is a top tip.

0:19:40 > 0:19:43- Or you just grab it behind its head...- They hate that.

0:19:43 > 0:19:46Well... You just don't want it to bite you!

0:19:48 > 0:19:50- Was your mother OK? - Yeah, she was fine.

0:19:50 > 0:19:53I felt bad and I tried not to be such a brat.

0:19:53 > 0:19:56- When Mum asked for help in future, I kind of did it.- A lesson learned.

0:19:56 > 0:19:58- A lesson learned.- Very good.

0:19:58 > 0:20:02Right, let's move on to Alicia's film tonight. Tomb Raider.

0:20:02 > 0:20:06It opens Thursday, March 15, and you are the new Lara Croft.

0:20:06 > 0:20:09Obviously, not like Tonya Harding, you're not a real person,

0:20:09 > 0:20:14but people have such a clear vision of who this woman is.

0:20:14 > 0:20:17- Mm-hm.- You must feel a kind of similar pressure.

0:20:17 > 0:20:20Yeah, my breasts are not as pointy as the first version.

0:20:21 > 0:20:25No, I mean, yeah, she's been with us for like, what is it? 20, 22 years.

0:20:25 > 0:20:28And, I... Yeah... I actually...

0:20:28 > 0:20:32- I'm, like, a HUGE fan of Tomb Raider.- Great!

0:20:32 > 0:20:34- I am so excited to see this.- I was, you know,

0:20:34 > 0:20:38- we grew up with MSN...- Yeah!- I also grew up in that time where there was

0:20:38 > 0:20:42none of my girlfriends who played video games and I kind of kept it...

0:20:42 > 0:20:44I was kind of ashamed of doing it.

0:20:44 > 0:20:47But I was at my parents' friends' house

0:20:47 > 0:20:51and their kids had a PlayStation and I went there and remember

0:20:51 > 0:20:53I walked into the room and saw

0:20:53 > 0:20:55it was a female protagonist in a video game,

0:20:55 > 0:20:57and I had never seen that

0:20:57 > 0:21:00and, er, yeah. I was a bit too scared to play the whole game

0:21:00 > 0:21:04when I was about ten, so I mostly spent time doing the tricks

0:21:04 > 0:21:07and her learning her moves in the Manor,

0:21:07 > 0:21:10but no, I was a big fan when I was a kid.

0:21:10 > 0:21:13Daniel, are you a big gamer? Do you play a lot of games?

0:21:13 > 0:21:15No, cos it ruins my life.

0:21:15 > 0:21:17- It just ruins me. - It's time consuming.

0:21:17 > 0:21:19I've got things to do, man. I just...

0:21:20 > 0:21:23That's a good answer. I kind of realise that now,

0:21:23 > 0:21:26when I did it, because I did play the games before I did the film

0:21:26 > 0:21:30and I was like, "Wow, I had way too much time when I was a child."

0:21:30 > 0:21:31Listen, we've got a clip.

0:21:31 > 0:21:33This is you as Lara Croft

0:21:33 > 0:21:36and I believe in this clip you've just raided a tomb.

0:21:40 > 0:21:43HE GRUNTS

0:22:08 > 0:22:10- Ooh!- Don't worry, he didn't die.

0:22:10 > 0:22:11Was he OK? He's fine!

0:22:16 > 0:22:20- How long did you have to train for that?- So I...

0:22:20 > 0:22:23Um, I did about four months

0:22:23 > 0:22:25before I started to shoot when I got into...

0:22:25 > 0:22:29- Your arms are, like, ripped. - Yeah, so that's the thing.

0:22:29 > 0:22:31It takes four months for me.

0:22:31 > 0:22:34I had never lifted a thing with my arms. I did ballet.

0:22:34 > 0:22:36Not even an Oscar.

0:22:37 > 0:22:39Two hands! That's why you need two hands.

0:22:39 > 0:22:41"I can't bring that home."

0:22:43 > 0:22:45So it takes about four months to...

0:22:45 > 0:22:47I remember my trainer told me,

0:22:47 > 0:22:49"They're really underdeveloped."

0:22:50 > 0:22:53I was like, "Oh, really? OK."

0:22:53 > 0:22:55But then four months later,

0:22:55 > 0:22:56you know, he managed.

0:22:56 > 0:22:59I told him, "I don't believe you." But, yeah...

0:22:59 > 0:23:02You have to do it, because it is non-stop, this movie.

0:23:02 > 0:23:05So then it takes three weeks for you to lose it all.

0:23:05 > 0:23:07That is the sad bit.

0:23:07 > 0:23:09Three weeks to lose?

0:23:09 > 0:23:11- Three weeks to just go out of shape? - Yeah!

0:23:11 > 0:23:14- I thought I was going to stay like this!- That's not fair.

0:23:14 > 0:23:17- To get muscle and then to lose it. - Crazy.- So unfair.- That's not fair.

0:23:17 > 0:23:19LAUGHTER

0:23:19 > 0:23:23- Terrible.- And now, because you're Swedish, how does that work?

0:23:23 > 0:23:26Obviously, you're married to an Irishman now, so...?

0:23:26 > 0:23:28Are you learning Irish phrases?

0:23:28 > 0:23:30Irish is actually quite close.

0:23:30 > 0:23:32A lot of people think I'm Irish because in Sweden, I guess

0:23:32 > 0:23:35we have the same Rs.

0:23:35 > 0:23:36Yeah.

0:23:36 > 0:23:40- Bit of a connection, there. - And is he learning Swedish phrases?

0:23:40 > 0:23:42I wish it was...better.

0:23:43 > 0:23:46Yeah. Actually, one thing he likes is...

0:23:46 > 0:23:50He came to Sweden and learned that it's a lot of Swedish sayings

0:23:50 > 0:23:53that are very commonly used and it's one of those things,

0:23:53 > 0:23:55when it's my own language,

0:23:55 > 0:23:57I didn't really think about how weird they are, but

0:23:57 > 0:24:01he learned about them and was like, "I'm just now going to use those."

0:24:01 > 0:24:03It's like saying in Swedish,

0:24:03 > 0:24:06"Well, now you're taking a poop in the blue cabinet."

0:24:06 > 0:24:07What?!

0:24:08 > 0:24:11Yeah. That's like a very common thing.

0:24:11 > 0:24:14Or, "Yeah, you can't just expect to walk in,

0:24:14 > 0:24:16"sliding in on a shrimp sandwich."

0:24:18 > 0:24:21I actually saw politicians when I was back home in Sweden

0:24:21 > 0:24:23use that in a debate. In Swedish.

0:24:23 > 0:24:25I was like, yeah, that's how...

0:24:25 > 0:24:28You can't come in here and slide on a shrimp sandwich?

0:24:28 > 0:24:31Yeah, because shrimp is very, like, flashy

0:24:31 > 0:24:35in a socialist country, having a shrimp sandwich is very fancy.

0:24:35 > 0:24:38So you can't just have your privileges and walk in,

0:24:38 > 0:24:40slide in here on a shrimp sandwich.

0:24:40 > 0:24:43We have an Australian one - "We're not here to fuck spiders."

0:24:43 > 0:24:46LAUGHTER

0:24:46 > 0:24:48- What does that MEAN?! - Let's get on with it!

0:24:48 > 0:24:51It would be difficult to try and fuck a spider...

0:24:52 > 0:24:55In Australia, you COULD find a spider to fuck!

0:24:55 > 0:24:57LAUGHTER

0:25:00 > 0:25:02Now, I feel bad that we're talking about this,

0:25:02 > 0:25:06because of what we're about to show, which is so sweet.

0:25:06 > 0:25:09- I mean, diabetics shouldn't watch this.- Ah.

0:25:09 > 0:25:11This must be your first appearance on television?

0:25:11 > 0:25:14Yeah. It's so funny, because I've been watching your show

0:25:14 > 0:25:16since I moved here and I thought, "If I ever get on the show..."

0:25:16 > 0:25:18I was like, "What is he going to find?"

0:25:18 > 0:25:22From my... Because you're all about finding those clips.

0:25:22 > 0:25:24- So how old are you here? - I'm seven or eight.

0:25:24 > 0:25:27It's funny, because I hadn't seen this clip until...

0:25:27 > 0:25:31There was actually somebody working at a TV channel

0:25:31 > 0:25:34I guess in Sweden during the Oscars who had gone down

0:25:34 > 0:25:36and found a VHS of this tape,

0:25:36 > 0:25:38because I only have my vague memory

0:25:38 > 0:25:42of this as a child and I have never seen it until two years ago.

0:25:42 > 0:25:44Well, this is amazing.

0:25:44 > 0:25:46This is Alicia on...

0:25:46 > 0:25:49- Presumably it's Junior Stars In Your Eyes?- Mm-hm.

0:25:49 > 0:25:53So this is Alicia on Junior Stars In Their Eyes.

0:25:53 > 0:25:56When she comes out of the smoke, you won't know who she is.

0:25:57 > 0:25:59APPLAUSE Hey, how are you?

0:26:02 > 0:26:04- AUDIENCE:- Aw!

0:26:20 > 0:26:24SHE SINGS IN SWEDISH

0:26:45 > 0:26:48CHEERING

0:26:57 > 0:26:59APPLAUSE She won!

0:26:59 > 0:27:01- You're very proud.- Actually...

0:27:03 > 0:27:07Little thing about the job that I locked myself in the room,

0:27:07 > 0:27:10that I begged to go to the audition to,

0:27:10 > 0:27:12that was the musical, that was not my part,

0:27:12 > 0:27:15but that was the woman playing my mother in that musical,

0:27:15 > 0:27:18so I mimed her song. Looked up to her a lot.

0:27:18 > 0:27:22- But she's a famous Swedish...? - She's a very famous singer.

0:27:22 > 0:27:25Swedish person. Now, Daniel's film is the latest hit from Marvel,

0:27:25 > 0:27:27Black Panther. It's out now.

0:27:27 > 0:27:32And, I mean, this film is doing such amazing business.

0:27:32 > 0:27:35It's sort of beating everything before it, isn't it?

0:27:35 > 0:27:37Yeah, but I have a theory. I have a theory.

0:27:37 > 0:27:40It's that I think there's some artist that said, "Don't pirate it."

0:27:40 > 0:27:43They always said, "Don't pirate it," so loads of people are just

0:27:43 > 0:27:46not pirating it, and they're going to the cinema to watch it.

0:27:46 > 0:27:48- And also, it's an experience.- Yeah.

0:27:48 > 0:27:50It's something to watch with people.

0:27:50 > 0:27:53- Because it's quite wild. - And, but also, without doubt,

0:27:53 > 0:27:56it's the best reviewed Marvel film of all time.

0:27:56 > 0:27:59- I mean, these reviews are crazy. - Yeah, it's nice. It's very nice.

0:27:59 > 0:28:03Yeah! OK, so tell us about the story and who you play in the story?

0:28:03 > 0:28:07Erm, the story is about T'Challa, who's the Black Panther,

0:28:07 > 0:28:10whose dad dies in a previous Marvel film,

0:28:10 > 0:28:11and he has to take over the throne,

0:28:11 > 0:28:13because the dad was the King of Wakanda.

0:28:13 > 0:28:17He's taken over the throne and he has to be the king

0:28:17 > 0:28:19with these powers and has the responsibility,

0:28:19 > 0:28:21but there's new enemies coming in.

0:28:21 > 0:28:24But Wakanda is this place, and I play W'Kabi,

0:28:24 > 0:28:27who's the leader of the Border Tribe that protects the border.

0:28:27 > 0:28:30Because nobody is allowed to be in Wakanda,

0:28:30 > 0:28:32so that it keeps its resources within Africa.

0:28:32 > 0:28:35So this is a fictional African country that keeps its resources,

0:28:35 > 0:28:37so it's like one of the richest countries in the world.

0:28:37 > 0:28:40But in order to do that, it needs to be protected and no-one knows

0:28:40 > 0:28:43about it outside of Wakanda, and we have to keep that secret.

0:28:43 > 0:28:44Listen, we've got a clip.

0:28:44 > 0:28:48This is you and some of the other tribal leaders discussing a problem.

0:28:49 > 0:28:53Ulysses Klaue plans to sell the Vibranium to an American buyer

0:28:53 > 0:28:55in South Korea tomorrow night.

0:28:58 > 0:29:01Klaue has escaped our pursuits for almost 30 years.

0:29:02 > 0:29:06Not capturing him is perhaps my father's greatest regret.

0:29:06 > 0:29:09I wish to bring Klaue back here to stand trial.

0:29:09 > 0:29:15Wakanda does not need a warrior right now. We need a king.

0:29:15 > 0:29:17My parents were killed when he attacked.

0:29:19 > 0:29:22Not a day goes by when I do not think about what Klaue took from us.

0:29:24 > 0:29:28- From me.- It's too great an opportunity to pass.

0:29:28 > 0:29:31Take me with you. We'll take him down together, side-by-side.

0:29:31 > 0:29:34I need you here, protecting the border.

0:29:34 > 0:29:39Then I ask, you kill him where he stands, or you bring him back to us.

0:29:40 > 0:29:42You have my word.

0:29:44 > 0:29:45I will bring him back.

0:29:45 > 0:29:49CHEERING

0:29:49 > 0:29:50And...

0:29:52 > 0:29:56- But, of course, it is a superhero movie.- Yeah.

0:29:56 > 0:29:58And with superhero movies come those costumes,

0:29:58 > 0:30:00you get the superhero costumes.

0:30:00 > 0:30:03So you must have been very excited to think, "What's my costume?"

0:30:03 > 0:30:05Yeah, and then I had to wear it.

0:30:06 > 0:30:09I had all this armour. I looked like an African Jedi,

0:30:09 > 0:30:13so I had all this armour and stuff. And then I had to have a blanket.

0:30:15 > 0:30:17It's flippin' Blanket Man.

0:30:17 > 0:30:19Like, because we shot it in Atlanta,

0:30:19 > 0:30:22and it was so hot! It was just so hot.

0:30:22 > 0:30:24But I had to act really cool, because I'm in a superhero movie.

0:30:24 > 0:30:28So we were like, "Yeah, yeah." But, like, just sweat...

0:30:28 > 0:30:31My make-up was going all over my eyes and I was blinking like this.

0:30:32 > 0:30:35It wasn't a sexy moment for me, I tell you that.

0:30:36 > 0:30:38Now, a lot of the reviews are talking about how this film

0:30:38 > 0:30:40is kind of a game changer.

0:30:40 > 0:30:45I mean, was there a sense amongst the cast and the crew that you were

0:30:45 > 0:30:47doing something kind of important when you were making this film?

0:30:47 > 0:30:50Yeah, because it's an African superhero movie!

0:30:50 > 0:30:51I've never seen that in my life.

0:30:51 > 0:30:54I felt that on set. We had this waterfall scene

0:30:54 > 0:30:58and it's basically Chad, T'Challa's getting the coronation.

0:30:58 > 0:31:01And then everyone starts singing, like...

0:31:01 > 0:31:04Hundreds of extras start singing and drumming. I just got chills.

0:31:04 > 0:31:06I was just like, "I've never..."

0:31:06 > 0:31:09My inner child was like, "Oh, my God, if I saw this as a kid,

0:31:09 > 0:31:12"I wouldn't feel such a weirdo."

0:31:12 > 0:31:14You feel weird when you grow up

0:31:14 > 0:31:16because there's nothing that looks like you on TV.

0:31:16 > 0:31:20And this is, like, 90% of the cast have an African accent,

0:31:20 > 0:31:21including Andy Serkis.

0:31:21 > 0:31:25It's like, everyone's like, you know...

0:31:25 > 0:31:27It's just this kind of... When I first watched it,

0:31:27 > 0:31:30my inner child was so happy that this exists.

0:31:30 > 0:31:33Yeah, I think the reaction from people is going to be amazing.

0:31:33 > 0:31:37I mean, this movie will have such a life. Yeah, congratulations.

0:31:37 > 0:31:38- Thank you.- Yeah, seriously.

0:31:38 > 0:31:42CHEERING

0:31:42 > 0:31:46Now, talking of game-changing things, Daniel,

0:31:46 > 0:31:50we must mention your last movie, for which you are Oscar-nominated,

0:31:50 > 0:31:52- Get Out. AUDIENCE:- Whoo!

0:31:52 > 0:31:53Yes, look at you clapping!

0:31:55 > 0:31:58- How many times have you seen this film?- I've seen it three times.

0:31:58 > 0:32:01- You've seen it three times? - Two times.- I love it so much.

0:32:01 > 0:32:03- One of my West Wing, Brad... - Bradley!

0:32:03 > 0:32:05Yeah, I just saw him in the picture. I was going to say.

0:32:05 > 0:32:07I love that guy, man.

0:32:07 > 0:32:09Him and Catherine Keener are all... And Jordan Peele.

0:32:09 > 0:32:12I love all... They're all amazing. It's a great movie.

0:32:12 > 0:32:14I have to say, I avoided watching it,

0:32:14 > 0:32:16because I thought it was going to be a proper horror.

0:32:16 > 0:32:20Because the poster made me think it was like Saw or something.

0:32:20 > 0:32:23But it's so funny and great frights, it's brilliant.

0:32:23 > 0:32:26But because you were filming Black Panther,

0:32:26 > 0:32:30were you aware of how big the movie was getting?

0:32:30 > 0:32:33I kind of ignore things. I kind of pretend things are not happening.

0:32:33 > 0:32:36But it came out on my birthday. It came out on my birthday

0:32:36 > 0:32:40and I was out. My girl was there, who's in Atlanta.

0:32:40 > 0:32:42And I was like, "We've got to watch it, innit?"

0:32:42 > 0:32:45And we went to the hood, in Atlanta.

0:32:45 > 0:32:47Like, we wanted to go right to the heart of it.

0:32:47 > 0:32:50Because Jordan really had people,

0:32:50 > 0:32:54African-American black audiences, in mind when he wrote this.

0:32:54 > 0:32:57And we were just sitting there. I snuck in.

0:32:57 > 0:33:00With my hat low, snuck in. And I was sitting there at the back,

0:33:00 > 0:33:03and then the reactions were just crazy.

0:33:03 > 0:33:05There's a bit when I'm trying to get out of the house

0:33:05 > 0:33:09and this woman goes, "Get the girlfriend, get the girlfriend!

0:33:09 > 0:33:12"Get the girlfriend, man!" Or they'd be like, "He's stupid!"

0:33:13 > 0:33:16It's funny, man. It was funny. It was good times, man.

0:33:17 > 0:33:19But, yeah, I was so...

0:33:19 > 0:33:21Then I just went back to set, so I just ignored.

0:33:21 > 0:33:24I didn't know it was a thing until I came back here.

0:33:24 > 0:33:25Yeah, but I like the story.

0:33:25 > 0:33:29Allison Williams, your co-star, she gave you a bit of a complex on set.

0:33:29 > 0:33:33- She didn't. It was the make-up woman.- Oh?

0:33:34 > 0:33:38- She's cool, but... You're talking about the kissing, innit?- Yes.

0:33:38 > 0:33:40Yeah, so I was...

0:33:40 > 0:33:42I was doing the kissing scene. I don't know if you guys...

0:33:42 > 0:33:44No-one in England does this, yeah?

0:33:44 > 0:33:47Doing a kissing scene and just before it, they would give me...

0:33:47 > 0:33:49- A mint.- A mint.- Yeah.

0:33:50 > 0:33:53- I was like, "Cool. Why are you giving me...?"- I didn't know.

0:33:53 > 0:33:57I had my co-actor, suddenly before a scene like that,

0:33:57 > 0:33:58they came up and gave a mint,

0:33:58 > 0:34:02and I didn't know if I was going to take it as a, like, a nice thing

0:34:02 > 0:34:03to do or is it just like,

0:34:03 > 0:34:06"Oh, my God, he thinks my breath is horrendous."

0:34:06 > 0:34:08- Yeah!- Have to have a little rinse!

0:34:08 > 0:34:11I took it. I took it. I was like, "Oh, yeah, cool."

0:34:11 > 0:34:14And we did another take, she gave me another mint. I was like...

0:34:14 > 0:34:16"I fixed it!"

0:34:16 > 0:34:18The first time, I fixed it. You're giving me it again,

0:34:18 > 0:34:21have I got a problem? Like, have I got a chronic problem!

0:34:21 > 0:34:23Every time she gave me it, I was like, "What?"

0:34:23 > 0:34:25Then she didn't talk to me for the rest of the day

0:34:25 > 0:34:28because I was like, "Why are you giving me mints?" But, you know...

0:34:28 > 0:34:31- So, in England, we don't do that? - No.- Really?- It's just method.

0:34:33 > 0:34:36- It is what it is. - Australia? Mints, no mints?

0:34:36 > 0:34:38No, it was a thing that I discovered in America.

0:34:38 > 0:34:41I was like, "Wow, everyone's considerate about..."

0:34:41 > 0:34:43I tell you what's worse than mints is someone...

0:34:43 > 0:34:45I'm not going to name names, because...

0:34:45 > 0:34:49But someone I had to kiss insisted that before we kiss...

0:34:50 > 0:34:53..either he or I had to put Neosporin on our lips.

0:34:53 > 0:34:55- What's that?- Really?

0:34:55 > 0:34:57We're in England!

0:34:57 > 0:35:01- Neosporin, like...- Well, it's kind of...- Is it like Vaseline?

0:35:01 > 0:35:04..an ointment, an antibacterial ointment, to heal.

0:35:04 > 0:35:07It's something you put on. People put it around their noses

0:35:07 > 0:35:10- when they fly, so they don't get sick.- It's like Vaseline, right?

0:35:10 > 0:35:12- It's not Vaseline. It's got...? - Is that Vicks? Vicks?

0:35:12 > 0:35:15- Oh, is it like hand sanitiser?- No!

0:35:16 > 0:35:21Just Google it! Look it up. It's called Neosporin.

0:35:21 > 0:35:23And you have to put it...

0:35:23 > 0:35:26On the lips, so you don't pass any germs or anything.

0:35:26 > 0:35:28- It was really...- Everyone's so germophobic in America.

0:35:28 > 0:35:30..creepy. I guess it's an American thing.

0:35:30 > 0:35:33- ALICIA:- So, definitely no tongue, then?- Yes.

0:35:35 > 0:35:36I didn't know that one time.

0:35:36 > 0:35:40Apparently it's bad etiquette to put your tongue in. I didn't know that.

0:35:43 > 0:35:45Someone told me, yeah?

0:35:45 > 0:35:48I was just doing it, because I thought, "We're keeping it real."

0:35:49 > 0:35:51Suddenly... They were like...

0:35:51 > 0:35:54Someone was saying, apparently if you fancy them,

0:35:54 > 0:35:57- you put your tongue in.- Yeah. - That's what someone told me,

0:35:57 > 0:36:00and I was like, "Oh, shit, I've been sticking my tongue in."

0:36:00 > 0:36:02I think someone told me early on, thankfully.

0:36:02 > 0:36:05"Don't stress about it, but no tongue." And I was like,

0:36:05 > 0:36:07"Oh, got it." I always say to other people.

0:36:07 > 0:36:08"It's all cool, but no tongue."

0:36:08 > 0:36:11- But why wouldn't someone tell you that?- Why wouldn't?

0:36:11 > 0:36:14Well, someone should have told you that before you put the tongue in.

0:36:14 > 0:36:16No, but this is, like, years later.

0:36:16 > 0:36:18I found this out after a random conversation.

0:36:18 > 0:36:20Someone said you're not supposed to put your tongue in.

0:36:20 > 0:36:21I was like, "What?"

0:36:21 > 0:36:23My life's a lie.

0:36:24 > 0:36:26Actually, I have to say,

0:36:26 > 0:36:29and I think it's probably very good advice for actors.

0:36:29 > 0:36:33Because you got kissing tips from a great, Allison?

0:36:33 > 0:36:36- One of the greatest.- Yes. - One of the greatest,

0:36:36 > 0:36:41Meryl Streep, I had to kiss in a movie called The Hours.

0:36:41 > 0:36:47And she was not happy with the way a certain scene was being lit,

0:36:47 > 0:36:52and we had to kiss and she said, "I'm going to do you a favour.

0:36:52 > 0:36:54"You're going to thank me for it later."

0:36:56 > 0:36:58- Can I demonstrate on you?- On me?

0:36:58 > 0:37:02- Yeah.- Of course you can. Yes, please. No tongues!

0:37:03 > 0:37:06- Do you want a mint? - Oh, yeah, I need a mint.

0:37:07 > 0:37:11Or a pineapple. OK. All right, where's the best camera angle?

0:37:11 > 0:37:15There's loads of them, loads of cameras. That one's probably...

0:37:15 > 0:37:17- There we are.- That's our camera? - That's our camera right there.

0:37:17 > 0:37:19OK, so, you know,

0:37:19 > 0:37:25I have these nasal labial folds, they call them, these here.

0:37:26 > 0:37:28And they look better when they're pulled back,

0:37:28 > 0:37:31so she came in to kiss me, and she went like this.

0:37:33 > 0:37:35Hmm! AUDIENCE YELP

0:37:35 > 0:37:37I look fabulous!

0:37:37 > 0:37:39I look 15.

0:37:40 > 0:37:42Thank you so much. Oh!

0:37:42 > 0:37:44So that's what she did for me.

0:37:44 > 0:37:48And it did, she pulled my face back and kissed me.

0:37:48 > 0:37:52You can go watch the movie. It's very funny to see that.

0:37:52 > 0:37:54I'll watch it again, and now I really want you to win the Oscar,

0:37:54 > 0:37:56because I kissed you!

0:37:58 > 0:37:59Right, it's time for music.

0:37:59 > 0:38:02And since leaving girl group Fifth Harmony,

0:38:02 > 0:38:04this woman's solo career has gone from strength to strength.

0:38:04 > 0:38:07Here, performing one of the most popular songs of the year,

0:38:07 > 0:38:09Havana, it's Camila Cabello!

0:38:09 > 0:38:12CHEERING

0:38:40 > 0:38:42# Havana Ooh na-na

0:38:42 > 0:38:47# Half of my heart is in Havana Ooh-na-na

0:38:47 > 0:38:51# He took me back to East Atlanta Na-na-na

0:38:51 > 0:38:54# Oh but my heart is in Havana

0:38:54 > 0:38:56# There's somethin' 'bout his manners

0:38:58 > 0:39:00# He didn't walk up with that how you doin'

0:39:01 > 0:39:03# When he came in the room

0:39:03 > 0:39:06# He said there's a lot of girls I can do with

0:39:06 > 0:39:07# But I can't without you

0:39:07 > 0:39:10# I knew him forever in a minute

0:39:10 > 0:39:12# That summer night in June

0:39:12 > 0:39:14# And papa says he's got malo in him

0:39:14 > 0:39:16# He got me feelin' like

0:39:16 > 0:39:22# Ooh-ooh-ooh I knew it when I met him

0:39:22 > 0:39:25# I loved him when I left him

0:39:25 > 0:39:28# Got me feelin' like Ooh-ooh-ooh

0:45:09 > 0:45:11For a minute there, he thought it was going to be on BBC One,

0:45:11 > 0:45:13but it's not.

0:45:14 > 0:45:16OK, off you go with your story, sir.

0:45:16 > 0:45:19OK, many years ago, my father emigrated to the south of France

0:45:19 > 0:45:21with his family and his pet parrot, Jasper.

0:45:21 > 0:45:25They stayed for about five years and then decided to come back to the UK.

0:45:25 > 0:45:27My dad couldn't be bothered with all the pet passport things,

0:45:27 > 0:45:30so he smuggled Jasper back in his car, in the boot of his car.

0:45:30 > 0:45:33About five months down the line, the parrot got very ill,

0:45:33 > 0:45:37my dad had to take him to the vet and one of the questions of the vet

0:45:37 > 0:45:39had was, "Has Jasper ever been out of the UK?"

0:45:39 > 0:45:40And my dad said, "No, not at all."

0:45:40 > 0:45:42Anyway, the parrot had to stay overnight and in the morning,

0:45:42 > 0:45:45my dad got a phone call saying everything's fine,

0:45:45 > 0:45:46you can come and collect Jasper.

0:45:46 > 0:45:49My dad went to collect the parrot and after he paid her everything,

0:45:49 > 0:45:51the vet said, "Are you sure Jasper's never been out of the UK?"

0:45:51 > 0:45:53My dad said, "Yes, why?"

0:45:53 > 0:45:55"Because I came down this morning and he said, 'Bonjour.'"

0:45:57 > 0:45:59That's not true. That's not true.

0:46:00 > 0:46:03That didn't happen. That didn't happen.

0:46:03 > 0:46:07Can we squeeze in another one? OK, squeeze in one more. Here we go.

0:46:07 > 0:46:11- Hello!- Hi.- Hi. Who are you? - I'm Laura.- Laura, lovely.

0:46:11 > 0:46:13And where are you from, Laura?

0:46:16 > 0:46:18- I'm an outreach worker. - An outreach worker, OK.

0:46:18 > 0:46:20Off you go with your story.

0:46:20 > 0:46:24When I was a young, I used to sweat a lot, just under my arms.

0:46:24 > 0:46:28So I used to wear panty liners to cover it up, which I think is

0:46:28 > 0:46:32- a great idea. I should have gone on Dragons Den with it.- Very smart.

0:46:32 > 0:46:34But as I was walking to this bar one night,

0:46:34 > 0:46:37I saw an ex across the room who I had dumped,

0:46:37 > 0:46:40and he was there with a new girlfriend, and I walked up

0:46:40 > 0:46:42to him, thinking, "I best be polite, be the bigger person."

0:46:42 > 0:46:45So I went up, was chatting away, but I started to get really nervous,

0:46:45 > 0:46:47using my arms a lot and was flapping around.

0:46:47 > 0:46:50And as I lifted my arms up and put them back down,

0:46:50 > 0:46:53the panty liners flew out of my arms,

0:46:53 > 0:46:56swung around in the middle and landed right in front of us.

0:46:56 > 0:47:00With the two of them just looking at them, and looking at me.

0:47:00 > 0:47:02And looking at them, and I just had to walk off.

0:47:02 > 0:47:05Oh, shall we let her walk? That's a yes! You can walk!

0:47:05 > 0:47:06I really wanted to be flipped.

0:47:06 > 0:47:09Oh, you want to be flipped? OK, here we go.
