:04:13. > :04:17.one so far, so victory for him would mean... A victory for him

:04:17. > :04:22.would mean all three magicians will share the title. Trust me, these

:04:22. > :04:32.guys are very competitive. They want to win not just for the title,

:04:32. > :04:38.

:04:38. > :04:44.but to avoid the forfeit. AUDIENCE:

:04:44. > :04:54.They said, "Oh" indeed. Now, first, and hoping to be crowned series

:05:19. > :05:23.that, I'm going to teach you how to control water.

:05:23. > :05:30.I am going to take things seriously. That works for me.

:05:30. > :05:34.It is nuts! This Week is really massive for me,

:05:35. > :05:38.so I'm going to bring it in like none other.

:05:38. > :05:42.Right now, it is a tie for first place so we have to win.

:05:42. > :05:52.I am very nervous. Our grand illusion for stage hasn't

:05:52. > :06:02.

:06:02. > :06:03.been considered before. Here is to something new!

:06:03. > :06:07.APPLAUSE Having won over the public with his

:06:07. > :06:08.dancing, he is going to be looking to do it with his magic too. It is

:06:08. > :06:14.George Sampson and Latimer, everybody.

:06:14. > :06:21.Thank you. This is so special, I want to do it starting off in the

:06:21. > :06:26.audience, right here with this ball and will you help me on this one?

:06:26. > :06:28.Yes. What's your name? Thomas. Yes. What's your name? Thomas.

:06:28. > :06:33.Yes. What's your name? Thomas. Let's put a microphone on you.

:06:33. > :06:37.Thomas, I'm going to get your hands wet, if that's OK. George is going

:06:37. > :06:42.to pour the water through your hands. Your yob is to make sure --

:06:43. > :06:48.job is to make sure nothing comes out of the pitcher apart from water.

:06:48. > :06:52.How old are you? 12. When I was your age, I was nine. When I was

:06:52. > :06:55.nine - I want you to reach around in the water. Make sure there is

:06:55. > :06:59.nothing in the water, just water, right? Yes.

:06:59. > :07:03.Feel around the bowl. Make sure the bowl is solid? Yes.

:07:03. > :07:09.There you go. When I was younger I used to dream

:07:09. > :07:19.about how magical it could be if you could control water. If you

:07:19. > :07:34.

:07:34. > :07:40.could actually shape it an object. drop it or we're all getting wet.

:07:40. > :07:49.How imagine magical does that feel? You see, that's magic, but this

:07:49. > :07:53.idea, it is just a dream come true. APPLAUSE

:07:53. > :07:59.Let's give him a big round of applause.

:07:59. > :08:04.You're awesome. Now, we took the idea from a bowl and we figured if

:08:04. > :08:14.that's what we could do with a bowl, could you imagine what we could do

:08:14. > :08:34.

:08:34. > :08:44.could you imagine what we could do CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:08:44. > :08:44.

:08:44. > :09:51.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 66 seconds

:09:51. > :10:01.Would you like to see more? AUDIENCE: Yes. They want to see

:10:01. > :10:01.

:10:01. > :11:13.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 66 seconds

:11:13. > :11:19.more. All right, here we go. This Amazing. That was amazing. Guys,

:11:19. > :11:24.what do you think? He is fantastic, isn't he?

:11:24. > :11:28.really is. That's dangerous over there. We can't beat that. He is

:11:28. > :11:38.all wet and sexy and dancing, I've got Pete.

:11:38. > :11:39.

:11:39. > :11:43.Pete... They are heckling you from the audience. You have down three

:11:43. > :11:48.forfeits so far. You don't want do a fourth, do you? There is a hole

:11:48. > :11:54.in the roof or something like that! No, I don't want to do a fourth. It

:11:54. > :11:57.would be great to finish the series with a win. It would be two for us

:11:57. > :12:01.each. I worked with Joe Swash before so

:12:01. > :12:11.good luck on that. Here is what Joe Swash gets up to when he is not

:12:11. > :12:14.

:12:14. > :12:18.The actor with the fewest votes, Pete and Arlene.

:12:18. > :12:24.Arlene was fantastic, but after the win the week before, coming third

:12:24. > :12:32.was just awful. Nice to see you, Pete.

:12:32. > :12:38.My name is Joe Swash. I am an actor and I went into the jungle and I

:12:39. > :12:44.ate a crocodile willie. Are you a fish fan?

:12:44. > :12:48.So Joe, Barry and Stuart won two. Latimer has won two. I won one. I

:12:48. > :12:52.need to get this one. No one likes to see him being the

:12:52. > :12:56.whipping boy. The forfeits are getting worse and

:12:56. > :13:02.worse. I am a little bit nervous. Barry and Stuart, I know you are

:13:02. > :13:12.watching this. Isn't it about time you dit a forfeit -- did a forfeit?

:13:12. > :13:25.

:13:25. > :13:31.As far as I am concerned, I am the How are you? As you can see, we are

:13:31. > :13:35.at the London Aquarium, waiting for Pete. He hasn't turned up. I'm here,

:13:35. > :13:40.fella. Why are you dressed like that and you are wet and you smell

:13:40. > :13:43.of fish. I have been inside the tank, ask

:13:43. > :13:48.these ladies, calm down. I understand this maybe a little bit

:13:48. > :13:53.too much for you. We need somebody to help with - would you mind

:13:53. > :14:00.helping? You can stay where you are, that's fine. Let's look inside this

:14:00. > :14:06.tank. I put this prediction inside this tank. This is isolated inside

:14:06. > :14:10.the tank. The glass is about a foot thick. What's your name? Steph.

:14:10. > :14:20.It is difficult to hear with this on. Steph.

:14:20. > :14:21.

:14:21. > :14:25.Steph, I want you to stare into the tank. There is many a seafarer

:14:25. > :14:30.hypnotised by a haddock for a mackerel. Joe, hold that. I'm going

:14:30. > :14:36.to talk to you on the walkie-talkie so be alert!

:14:36. > :14:41.. So, I suppose we do what Pete said, have a look at the tank. Look

:14:41. > :14:49.at the creatures. As you can see, we have got a clown-nosed ray, we

:14:49. > :14:54.have a stingray, all sorts. Come in red herring, come in red

:14:54. > :14:57.herring, are you there? Yes, I am here. How are you, Pete? I'm good.

:14:57. > :15:00.Is Steph thinking of a creature? Yes.

:15:00. > :15:04.Steph is thinking of her creature, yes.

:15:04. > :15:08.Fantastic. Tell her not to tell anybody what it is, just keep it in

:15:08. > :15:12.mind. Don't tell anybody what it is.

:15:12. > :15:22.Cool. She said, "Cool."

:15:22. > :15:33.

:15:33. > :15:38.There he is. He is very graceful in the water if you haven't noticed.

:15:38. > :15:41.Steph, we asked you to think about one of the sea creatures in the

:15:42. > :15:46.tank behind us. Have you been thinking of that sea creature?

:15:46. > :15:53.You haven't told anybody about that sea creature. Are you ready?

:15:53. > :15:57.you reveal the sea creature you was thinking of? Stingray. Pete, are

:15:57. > :16:07.you ready? He is ready. Let's reveal your

:16:07. > :16:10.

:16:10. > :16:10.prediction. Stingray.

:16:10. > :16:10.APPLAUSE That's

:16:10. > :16:11.That's amazing.

:16:11. > :16:12.That's amazing. How

:16:12. > :16:14.That's amazing. How do

:16:14. > :16:22.That's amazing. How do you think he did that?

:16:22. > :16:29.I think he is just trying to tell me something. Well, he is going to

:16:29. > :16:35.take off his tank. Guys, would you like to help us with this curtain?

:16:35. > :16:40.Perfect. So Pete, winning the easy easy way, and he is going to come

:16:40. > :16:50.out the hard way. Are you ready, Pete? He is ready. Are you ready?

:16:50. > :17:11.

:17:11. > :17:13.Let's do this. I'm out! He is there.

:17:13. > :17:16.APPLAUSE I can't believe how he knew what I

:17:16. > :17:22.was thinking. It was so weird. I was thinking stingray the whole

:17:22. > :17:26.time and it was in the tank. I knew she was thinking of a fish, but I

:17:26. > :17:33.didn't know what fish it was. And then he came through the window.

:17:33. > :17:38.When he came through the tank, I was like, "Oh my God." I couldn't

:17:38. > :17:48.come through with the tank. I had to leave the tank inside. I need to

:17:48. > :17:49.lie down. Do you need the kiss of life?

:17:49. > :17:52.APPLAUSE That's why they call Pete the

:17:52. > :17:55.Little Mermaid. Hello, Ed Byrne. How are you Barry and Stuart?

:17:55. > :18:01.good. Still yet to do a forfeit. Have you

:18:01. > :18:05.got your grannies, uncles and cousins calling up voting from

:18:05. > :18:09.Scotland? I think they are voting for Pete.

:18:09. > :18:13.Whatever you are doing, it is working. Ed, you do some crazy

:18:13. > :18:18.stuff tonight. With that being said, are you scared of of doing the

:18:18. > :18:23.forfeit? I don't want to do the forfeit. I have gone above and

:18:23. > :18:27.beyond the call of duty. I have done hairy stuff already.

:18:27. > :18:33.That's your campaign pitch. He doesn't need to do anymore. He

:18:33. > :18:38.has done enough? I have done myself to secure myself on an arrow.

:18:38. > :18:48.Let's look at what happened when Ed teamed up with our dark duo, Barry

:18:48. > :18:51.

:18:51. > :19:00.Do you dress like this all the time? I'm Ed Byrne. I am known best

:19:01. > :19:04.as a comedian. We are going to go on a mini moat mini motto. I am

:19:04. > :19:10.going to push a rubber band to its limit.

:19:10. > :19:17.Ed is a comedian. He is used to being funny. Fortunately for us, he

:19:17. > :19:23.has started to take things more seriously. I did maths at school.

:19:23. > :19:28.Clever, but deadly. This series, we have avoided the

:19:28. > :19:35.forfeit completely so we are hoping we avoid the last one. The grim

:19:35. > :19:39.reaper of forfeits. If we win, we are the series

:19:39. > :19:47.winners. If they win, I will never let them

:19:47. > :19:53.forget the fact that I got them there!

:19:53. > :20:03.Hoping and praying it is enough for the championship, make them feel

:20:03. > :20:04.

:20:04. > :20:08.welcome, everybody, it is Barry and Thanks very much, the piranha fish,

:20:08. > :20:17.famous because they are carnivores and they can eat flesh. Inside this

:20:17. > :20:22.tank of murky water we have hungry pir piranha fish.

:20:22. > :20:27.You know that treatment where you have dead skin eaten off the sole

:20:27. > :20:33.of your feet. We have educated piranha fish.

:20:33. > :20:40.They have degrees in chemistry and physics and one has an NVQ in who

:20:40. > :20:44.is pa tilt. Clever, but deadly. I have got this

:20:45. > :20:50.book and it is a book of animals with the name of the animal printed

:20:50. > :20:54.beside T we have an animal selected at random, I am going to ask the

:20:54. > :20:58.lady there, I am going to ask you to say stop.

:20:58. > :21:03.Stop. Look at the animal, you stopped me

:21:03. > :21:05.at. Everybody look at the animal, but nobody say the name of the

:21:05. > :21:10.animal out loud. These fish can read and write and

:21:10. > :21:16.we will prove it now by getting a piece of stick out of the cooler

:21:16. > :21:20.box. We will feed it to the fish. We will show them the book. They

:21:20. > :21:29.like their meat rare. Are piranha fish intelligent enough

:21:29. > :21:35.to read the words printed on the page of this book?

:21:35. > :21:39.A beautiful cat that is too! But that was good, but top them,

:21:39. > :21:46.that's easy. That's kids stuff. That was the baby fish doing that.

:21:46. > :21:51.The big fish are cleverer. You can ask the big ones any any question

:21:51. > :21:57.from a Trivial Pursuit. They would have a chance of winning

:21:57. > :22:02.if they could roll the dice, but they don't have any fish fingers!

:22:02. > :22:08.Madam, will you pick a category, please? Entertainment.

:22:08. > :22:14.The one that the intellectuals never go for. Entertainment which

:22:14. > :22:19.is pink and take a card and select any one at ran do. Take a look at -

:22:19. > :22:27.- randomment take a look at it. The questions and answers are random.

:22:27. > :22:36.We are going to feed our piranha fish a pork chop. No need for the

:22:36. > :22:42.tongs. They know me. What is the pink question? How many Oscars did

:22:42. > :22:51.Ingrid Birdman win in her career? Let's see if the fish know? I will

:22:51. > :23:01.try and get it, Stuart. Keep your hand in. What's the

:23:01. > :23:04.

:23:04. > :23:11.answer? Three. They have gnawed my hand!

:23:11. > :23:14.The educated piranha. There is something fishy going on.

:23:14. > :23:19.All our acts have performed their first trick which means the

:23:19. > :23:29.phonelines are open. To save your favourite celebrity and magic, you

:23:29. > :23:34.

:23:34. > :23:44.need to pick up the phone. You have to snap an arrow on the throat. To

:23:44. > :23:45.

:24:05. > :24:11.on the gas in a bid to be crowned champs.

:24:11. > :24:21.It is full speed ahead as Barry and Stuart and Ed aim for victory.

:24:21. > :24:27.

:24:27. > :24:31.Pete and Joe pull out all the stops All that and we will have the

:24:31. > :24:36.fastest illusion in the world. Don't miss it, it is amazing.

:24:36. > :24:40.Very exciting. We have got the world champion of

:24:40. > :24:45.magic here, Mr Latimer, do you think you might make that the world

:24:45. > :24:49.champion of the magicians? I have had so much fun. I had a blast

:24:49. > :24:52.being here. I think we have won already because it has been so much

:24:52. > :24:58.fun here. Oh, that's such a diplomatic answer.

:24:58. > :25:04.Are you going to win tonne? tonight? You are a favourite with

:25:04. > :25:09.Britain. They voted you a winner of Britain's Got Talent. Do you think

:25:09. > :25:14.they will enjoy your magic? I have had the master to help me.

:25:14. > :25:24.Hopefully they will pick upon it. He is good this guy.

:25:24. > :25:43.

:25:43. > :25:47.With the grand illusion, it is Today we are going to move five

:25:47. > :25:51.people through time and space. Transportation? Exactly. We are

:25:51. > :25:55.going to move them from one truck to another truck while the audience

:25:55. > :26:01.is following on a military transport truck. As we move down a

:26:01. > :26:08.runway. I want each individual to reach

:26:08. > :26:13.into the bag and take a poker chip. Most of them are blue. Only five

:26:14. > :26:20.are white. The people that pick these five are

:26:20. > :26:26.going for the ride of their life. They are deciding the people who

:26:26. > :26:36.are going to travel on their hands. I can't get more fairer than that.

:26:36. > :27:12.

:27:12. > :27:22.Close your eyes and do not open them until you are told otherwise.

:27:22. > :27:22.

:27:22. > :28:07.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 66 seconds

:28:07. > :28:11.You can't run behind the curtain. There is no curtain. It is not like

:28:11. > :28:21.you can run underneath the stage because there is no stage. It is a

:28:21. > :28:38.

:28:38. > :28:42.Take your gloves off. Take your gloves off. Put your hands up!

:28:43. > :28:46.They moved from one truck to another right in front of our eyes.

:28:46. > :28:51.It is amazing. I don't know how he did it.

:28:52. > :28:55.There was no camera trickry. It was something to do with sequence. I am

:28:55. > :28:59.a Star Trek fan. You have to wonder now.

:28:59. > :29:03.It was the most incredible thing that I have ever seen quite frankly

:29:04. > :29:07.and I can't explain it. It was just a a wonderful illusion

:29:07. > :29:17.and I would love to know how it is done.

:29:17. > :29:21.

:29:21. > :29:23.That really is magic. APPLAUSE

:29:23. > :29:26.That was amazing, honestly, I have never seen anything like that

:29:26. > :29:31.before. An amazing trick. Hoping to save face tonight and tie up the

:29:32. > :29:41.series with a win, I want everyone to clap, scream and shout for Pete

:29:42. > :29:42.

:29:42. > :29:48.Thank you very much. I want the public to help me.

:29:48. > :29:54.Would you like me to find someone? What wants to help me. Would you

:29:54. > :29:59.like to come up and help with this trick? That's your name? Amy.

:29:59. > :30:05.Come and stand here. Thank you very much for helping. Amy, in a minute,

:30:05. > :30:14.we will ask you to pick one of these. Can you you shuffle?

:30:14. > :30:17.little bit. I want you to pick a maggot, any maggot.

:30:17. > :30:21.These are live maggots, you can probably tell from the smell of

:30:21. > :30:26.death! There are 52 maggots. I want you to

:30:26. > :30:29.choose one. I want you to look at one and remember it. We don't want

:30:29. > :30:34.you to touch the maggots. You might have to follow them

:30:34. > :30:44.around because they are a little bit wiggly. You point at a maggot.

:30:44. > :30:45.

:30:45. > :30:47.Leave your finger there. Now mix them up.

:30:47. > :30:50.LAUGHTER Know Joe is going to try and -- now

:30:50. > :30:57.Joe is going to try and find your maggot. No peeping. Is that your

:30:57. > :31:00.mog your maggot? Is that your maggot? Say yes it is.

:31:00. > :31:05.That's only the beginning. The next bit is more impressive, because I

:31:05. > :31:12.am going to make that maggot disappear. We are going to ask to

:31:13. > :31:18.put this in the the middle of your hand. Is he wig bli. You are very -

:31:18. > :31:28.- wiggly. You are very cool about that. Do you fish? I want you to

:31:28. > :31:32.put it on the tip of my tongue. LAUGHTER

:31:32. > :31:36.Three second rule! I don't suppose it matters, it has

:31:36. > :31:40.been on the floor, it is a maggot. It is still alive. It goes on my

:31:40. > :31:44.tongue. Ah, Pete.

:31:44. > :31:53.That's disgusting. It could be worse. It could be the

:31:53. > :31:58.crocodile's little fella. He has has gone. He has disappeared.

:31:58. > :32:05.He is in Pete's stomach. I am going to make the maggot

:32:05. > :32:10.reappear. I am going to regurgitate I am pulling it up from my belly.

:32:10. > :32:14.It is at the chest. It is coming up to the back of my throat. It is on

:32:14. > :32:19.the back. Back of the throat, coming up to the nasal passage. All

:32:19. > :32:25.the sinuses are connected. I am going to pull it up. I should

:32:25. > :32:35.mention, ladies, I am single! It is going to go to my right eye.

:32:35. > :32:42.

:32:42. > :32:44.It is in my right eye just about now.

:32:44. > :32:47.APPLAUSE Because you were so brilliant, you

:32:47. > :32:51.can have these. Take them away. They will be a little momento of

:32:51. > :33:01.the evening. I feel like the audience, they feel

:33:01. > :33:08.

:33:08. > :33:11.a little bit left out. Do you want some maggots?

:33:11. > :33:14.LAUGHTER Well done. The most disgusting

:33:14. > :33:24.trick I have ever seen. Thank you very much for that. Great work by

:33:24. > :33:28.

:33:28. > :33:33.the little worm. Next up, it is I am about to do a trick with Barry

:33:33. > :33:37.and Stuart. It involves an air canon, a motorcycle and playing

:33:37. > :33:45.cards. Three of my favourite things in the in the world. What could

:33:45. > :33:51.possibly go wrong? We are here to show you something

:33:51. > :33:56.very special, the world's most extreme card trick using this motor

:33:56. > :34:01.and -- mortar and a really fast motorbike. I am going to stand in

:34:01. > :34:11.front of you all. Ed, we are ready. They are all safe. Come on out,

:34:11. > :34:16.

:34:16. > :34:18.full speed. The streak of lightening.

:34:18. > :34:21.APPLAUSE It is very cold today.

:34:21. > :34:25.We need to get someone to select a playing card.

:34:25. > :34:31.We want this trick to be extreme from all angles. We are not going

:34:31. > :34:37.to get you to choose a card from one deck, but it will be from three

:34:37. > :34:40.decks. We We want you to choose any one of these cards at all. Run your

:34:40. > :34:45.finger across the cards and stop it on any one you like.

:34:45. > :34:49.I will go for that one. Take it out. Don't let anyone see it. Don't let

:34:49. > :34:55.Ed see it because Ed is going to be doing this. Ed, if you can go and

:34:55. > :34:59.get into the starting position. Ed, is going to catch your card from

:34:59. > :35:06.mid-air. We want you to sign your name on the face of the card that

:35:06. > :35:12.you have right now. I will take the pen back. If you

:35:12. > :35:20.can put the card back anywhere in the deck. I want to you take the

:35:20. > :35:28.deck and shuffle it up yourself. Could you shuffle those two packs

:35:28. > :35:32.together. Add that to the pile, I need you to shuffle that. Perfect.

:35:32. > :35:35.Everyone stay here. I want to you come over here. Everyone else, stay

:35:35. > :35:43.with me. You are going to load all these

:35:43. > :35:49.cards into this air air bazooka. Take the cards and shove them in

:35:49. > :35:53.there. Shove them inside there. That's perfect. Excellent. Now, go

:35:53. > :36:03.back back and and join the others at finishing line.

:36:03. > :36:24.

:36:24. > :36:26.Ed, ready? It is in my helmet.

:36:26. > :36:32.It has got my signature and everything.

:36:32. > :36:35.That is your signature. I am staggered, I don't know how he

:36:35. > :36:42.did that. I don't know how it could have happened.

:36:42. > :36:45.I am impressed to say the least. I'm speechless. Speechless.

:36:45. > :36:55.APPLAUSE Very cool. Very cool, indeed, I

:36:55. > :36:59.thought. I hope they gave little Latimer his bike back. All our acts

:36:59. > :37:09.performed two tricksment here are the -- tricksment here are the

:37:09. > :37:14.

:37:14. > :37:19.The calls will cost 15 pence from a BT land line. Calls from mobiles

:37:19. > :37:23.will cost more. Please get the bill payers permission before you call.

:37:23. > :37:33.Next up, with their street magic in Manchester, it is Latimer and

:37:33. > :37:38.

:37:38. > :37:41.We are here to do a little bit of magic for people travelling around

:37:41. > :37:46.the world and we have come to the conclusion that exchanging money in

:37:46. > :37:52.the airport is the most expensive thing you could do. Have you

:37:52. > :37:55.changed your money? Not yet. I have collected numerous bits of

:37:55. > :37:59.cash and I find every time I come back to Manchester, it gets more

:37:59. > :38:09.and more expensive to change my notes back to pounds. Do you know

:38:09. > :38:18.

:38:18. > :38:28.how much this is worth? How much is that? About that much!

:38:28. > :38:35.The cheapest way is to... I don't even bring a wallet anymore. I stop

:38:35. > :38:40.at the visitors centre and grab these leaflets. Fold it up.And you

:38:40. > :38:46.take it and fold it one more time. Take that, you fold it again and

:38:46. > :38:56.across and one more time, down like that. You can actually see it

:38:56. > :38:57.

:38:57. > :39:02.change, once, twice, 20. Do you guys use pounds here? Great. You

:39:02. > :39:09.take this, you fold it like that. You take this, and you fold it down

:39:09. > :39:12.like that. Unfold it once. Unfold it twice. And then And unfold an

:39:12. > :39:22.original 20 note. Fantastic.

:39:22. > :39:26.

:39:26. > :39:30.No. It is still card. Rubbish. I have I have got no idea how they do

:39:30. > :39:34.it. You can watch the shows on the iplayer. Coming back live in the

:39:34. > :39:42.studio now, it is time for their live, grand illusion, see if you

:39:42. > :39:48.can work out this in the audience and at home. The pressure is on for

:39:48. > :39:51.Joe, I will tell you something, mate, I like you a lot.

:39:51. > :40:01.Thank you. You are looking a little bit pale.

:40:01. > :40:02.

:40:02. > :40:08.Sorry. You are looking healthy. Joe, you

:40:08. > :40:18.you look ill. I have been working on a form of self-tanning.

:40:18. > :40:20.

:40:20. > :40:27.I do not fake tan. Self-tan. Look at this there, is the Tanamatic

:40:27. > :40:31.2000. It works with this bird. I don't

:40:31. > :40:35.know how you are going to fit her in that box

:40:35. > :40:42.Not better, this bird -- not her, this bird.

:40:42. > :40:45.It is going to go to work and give the bird a beautiful all over tan.

:40:45. > :40:53.Let's look at this. You are sure this is going to be safe.

:40:53. > :40:58.Of course, it is. Dial in the correct co-ordinates

:40:58. > :41:04.and look at that, a beautiful golden brown colour.

:41:04. > :41:14.That's amazing. With a tan like that you could go

:41:14. > :41:16.

:41:16. > :41:20.on an ITV reality TV show. This is the envy of the world. This is the

:41:20. > :41:22.Tanamatic 3000. You are sure, this is safe? Yes.

:41:22. > :41:28.That looks like where they put dead people.

:41:28. > :41:36.That's a good point. Would you mind trying that. Lie yourself down

:41:36. > :41:40.there. It is fine. As an an extra safety precaution, we have these

:41:40. > :41:50.goggles. I will run you through the settings. We have a few different

:41:50. > :41:54.

:41:54. > :41:59.settings. We have got the Winton. We have got Charlmers and the

:41:59. > :42:06.Dickinson and then this one, the Danger Zone. Don't go there unless

:42:06. > :42:15.you want to look like a mahogany sideboard. Let's do it.

:42:15. > :42:21.Are you sure, it is going to be safe? Yes. I have got nothing to

:42:21. > :42:25.worry. Peter, Peter... Get in there. All

:42:25. > :42:30.right, let's crank this bad boy up. First things first. Turn it on.

:42:30. > :42:40.That's great. OK, here we go. The Winton.

:42:40. > :42:41.

:42:41. > :42:44.No, I'm not getting nothing. The Charlmer is. Still not working.

:42:44. > :42:52.The Dickinson. It's broken.

:42:52. > :43:02.You should be more tanned. In the Danger Zone. Let's go nuclear.

:43:02. > :43:10.

:43:11. > :43:20.get me out. I feel a bit funny. Get him out. Open it up. Open it up.

:43:21. > :43:25.

:43:25. > :43:27.Joe. APPLAUSE

:43:27. > :43:31.I'm sorry, but I think that is a significant improvement. Does

:43:31. > :43:35.anyone else? Very handsome. Next up, doing all they can to win your vote

:43:35. > :43:39.and finish this series without having to do a forfeit on location

:43:39. > :43:49.with their grand illusion in Sheffield, it is Barry and Stuart

:43:49. > :43:57.

:43:57. > :43:59.Tonight we are going to perform a classic of magic. It is the cut and

:44:00. > :44:06.restored rope trick. We want to do a really dangerous

:44:06. > :44:11.version. Ed, you have got a balloon version of yourself.

:44:11. > :44:15.I never travel anywhere without this.

:44:15. > :44:21.The shears of death. I have the nail scissors of of doom

:44:21. > :44:25.which could double as the the shears of death. Pvrp. The idea is

:44:25. > :44:27.we we do this with the string. It is going to cut it into several

:44:27. > :44:33.bits. Keep going.

:44:33. > :44:38.I have been asked many times, how long is a piece of string? Normally

:44:39. > :44:42.when I ask a question, like how long do we have to keep filming

:44:42. > :44:50.for? That's how long a piece of string is.

:44:50. > :44:55.We need one other thing and that's the application of is a of saliva.

:44:55. > :45:02.Mine. It is wet enough to make it stick

:45:02. > :45:12.on this string right there. And if this has worked then Ed

:45:12. > :45:15.

:45:16. > :45:18.should be able to do that. It seems like it is not dangerous.

:45:18. > :45:24.That wasn't the rope we were talking about.

:45:24. > :45:30., no, the actual rope we were talking about is that one up there!

:45:30. > :45:34.The bungee rope. Ed's feet are going to be strapped to the end of

:45:34. > :45:44.the rope and we are going to sever it in half. It would be dangerous

:45:44. > :45:49.

:45:49. > :45:59.if this was a concrete floor. We are going to try and restore the

:45:59. > :46:22.

:46:22. > :46:32.Right now, we are 150 feet above the ground. 150 feet. When Ed jumps

:46:32. > :46:41.he will reach a speed of 50mph. 50mph. And experience the force of

:46:41. > :46:46.about 1.8 G. This is if we are successful. If we are successful.

:46:46. > :46:53.I need to grab your bungee chord. When we were down there, we did

:46:53. > :46:57.that trick with the chord. The bungee chord is made up of 1,200

:46:57. > :47:02.individual strands. It is like doing this trick 1,200 times at

:47:02. > :47:12.once. The the shears of of death are

:47:12. > :47:17.never going to be powerful enough to get through this. We need the

:47:17. > :47:20.knife of bread. Ed, you might want to look away.

:47:20. > :47:23.need to get rid of the knife. Yeah, that could be dangerous

:47:23. > :47:33.otherwise. Ed, get yourself in position.

:47:33. > :47:33.

:47:33. > :48:25.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 66 seconds

:48:25. > :48:29.Ed Byrne. I was there.

:48:29. > :48:33.When he jumped, I thought he was going to hit the floor and that

:48:33. > :48:42.would be the last we would see of him. And we saw the rope get kupt.

:48:42. > :48:49.I didn't -- cut. I didn't think he would make it. Madness. He is a

:48:49. > :48:51.legend. He did very well.

:48:51. > :48:55.APPLAUSE I am sweating looking at that. I

:48:55. > :49:01.don't know how much they are paying him, but that's not worth that.

:49:01. > :49:07.With Barry and Stuart, would you trust them. Exactly. They have only

:49:07. > :49:12.one more trick left each. That's one more trick left each for this

:49:12. > :49:17.series of The Magicians. It is more important now than ever to vote.

:49:17. > :49:23.We will find out which magician is crowned the champion of the series.

:49:23. > :49:30.This is the last time you will see the numbers on the screen so please

:49:30. > :49:40.make a a note of them and get behind your favourite. Here come

:49:40. > :49:58.

:49:58. > :50:02.Just a wonderful illusion and I would love to know how it is done.

:50:02. > :50:12.Unfold it twice. Unfold an original 20 note.

:50:12. > :50:14.

:50:14. > :50:24.I I was thinking stingray the whole time and it was in the tank and

:50:24. > :50:25.

:50:25. > :50:30.Calls cost 15 pence from a BT land line and other networks may vary

:50:30. > :50:38.and and calls from mobile phones cost more. If you want terms and

:50:38. > :50:43.Now it is time for some more live, close-up magic in the studio. It is

:50:43. > :50:49.the last chance to win your votes, a big round of applause, everybody.

:50:49. > :50:52.It is Latimer and George. It is Latimer and George.

:50:52. > :50:55.Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. In this box we have a

:50:55. > :50:59.surprise. For this trick to work we are going

:50:59. > :51:02.to need volunteers. Well, I am going to pick some especially

:51:02. > :51:06.actually. I'm going to pick you. What's your

:51:06. > :51:16.name? Sammy. Come with me.

:51:16. > :51:23.I am going to find somebody else. I think we always pick - I can see it

:51:23. > :51:28.from here. Would you mind if that borrow that, your ring. And your

:51:28. > :51:33.name is? Jason. A great name. Let's give him a big

:51:33. > :51:38.round of applause, ladies and gentlemen. No actually, I just need

:51:38. > :51:46.the ring. Thank you so much for the enthusiasm, I appreciate it.

:51:46. > :51:52.Take a look at that. I want you to make sure -- I just want to make

:51:52. > :51:55.sure you know what it looks like. Got the ring? And your name was?

:51:55. > :51:59.Sammy. Would you be able to recognise that

:51:59. > :52:07.if you saw it again. Yes.

:52:07. > :52:17.If you lose that, you have to explain that to him. You want you

:52:17. > :52:21.

:52:21. > :52:27.place that in the handkerchief. It has gone.

:52:27. > :52:31.We have a surprise in this box. Would you like to see the surprise?

:52:31. > :52:37.Yes. Would all of you like to see the

:52:37. > :52:45.surprise? If you can grab the box. I will give you some some slack.

:52:45. > :52:52.Hold on to the box. Got that? Pull it out. Today!

:52:52. > :52:59.Sammy, would you be amazed if the ring was inside the box? Yes.

:52:59. > :53:06.Would you be astounded? Yes. Would you be be flabbergasted?

:53:06. > :53:13.Can you spell flabbergasted? What's in the box? Scissors.

:53:13. > :53:21.Surprise! Scissors. Nothing else?

:53:21. > :53:31.Well, I said that the surprise was in the box and I meant in the box,

:53:31. > :53:37.

:53:37. > :53:47.right here, holding everything up. Right here, holding up the case.

:53:47. > :53:48.

:53:48. > :53:53.APPLAUSE Is that the ring? Yes.

:53:53. > :53:57.APPLAUSE Thank you so much.

:53:57. > :54:05.Is that your ring? Does it still fit Yes.

:54:05. > :54:09.We're good. APPLAUSE

:54:09. > :54:13.I was sure I knew where that was going. I got no clue. Anyway, it is

:54:14. > :54:23.the final chance to impress with their street magic in Reading. This

:54:24. > :54:30.

:54:30. > :54:34.would tie the series if they won Hello ladies.

:54:34. > :54:43.Hello. Nice to see you. Nice to see you.

:54:43. > :54:50.Do you like magic? I love it. Good. Do you like card tricks?

:54:50. > :54:55.Thank Goodness for that. We have a deck of cards. What's your name?

:54:55. > :55:00.Amelia. I want to you say stop. Stop.

:55:00. > :55:04.Take that card. Have a little look at it. What did you get? Six of of

:55:04. > :55:09.clubs. It doesn't matter if I see it.

:55:09. > :55:12.Amelia, watch closely, I am going to lose the card in the pack.

:55:12. > :55:17.you can see, Pete stuck one of the cards on the outside of the glass.

:55:17. > :55:25.That couldn't be the six of clubs, yours is inside the deck. Watch

:55:25. > :55:30.closely. One, two, three. Six of clubs.

:55:30. > :55:35.Touch it. Try and get it down. It is on the other side of the

:55:35. > :55:40.glass. Part two, part two, the remix.

:55:40. > :55:45.If that blew your mind, wait until you see that.

:55:45. > :55:50.What's your name? Anna. Amelia, hold on to the deck. Get

:55:50. > :55:58.the jack of diamonds. Hold it next to the six which is on the inside.

:55:58. > :56:06.Go for it. This is your magic moment.

:56:06. > :56:15.It is on the inside and the six is on the outside.

:56:15. > :56:20.It is behind the glass, yeah? It was amazing.

:56:20. > :56:25.It was a card and it was on the inside and then he had it in his

:56:25. > :56:34.hand and my card was on the inside. I didn't know what was going on.

:56:34. > :56:44.It was amazing. I don't know how he did it. It was crazy.

:56:44. > :56:49.

:56:49. > :56:53.Who are you voting for Saturday A cheeky little trick there.

:56:53. > :56:56.That's all you can do. If you win tonight, you have tied up the

:56:56. > :57:03.series. How are you feeling about that? That would be awesome. That
