:01:40. > :01:50.
:01:50. > :01:53.# I Gotta Feeling # Tonight's gonna be a good night
:01:53. > :02:03.# That tonight's gonna be a good night
:02:03. > :02:24.
:02:24. > :02:31.# That tonight's gonna be a good CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
:02:31. > :02:35.Good Evening! I'm back. You're back. Tonight's
:02:35. > :02:39.The Night's back! Oh, it feels so good. Now, on this
:02:39. > :02:44.show, we think good things should happen to good people. So, our
:02:44. > :02:50.business is making dreams come true. Tonight is the night for amazing
:02:50. > :02:55.stories. Great guests and big surprises, which could involve you
:02:56. > :02:59.guys. So get ready! Here's what's on the way.
:03:00. > :03:04.There's a Yankee doodle surprise in store for a hard-working vicar as
:03:04. > :03:09.she swaps the pulpit for a pit stop. Matt Baker will go undercover to
:03:09. > :03:13.give this Elvis fan the shock of his life. We turn on the blues and
:03:13. > :03:21.twos and I play bad cop and give a young lady the chance to perform
:03:21. > :03:24.with The Wanted. Hey, this is Dolly Parton and later on, I'm going to
:03:24. > :03:32.be meeting a very special person in the name of country music right
:03:32. > :03:35.here in Nashville so stay tuned. Yes, we've got The Wanted!
:03:35. > :03:40.They're here tonight and you could have heard the hysterical screaming
:03:40. > :03:44.when they arrived at the studios. That was just me...
:03:44. > :03:48.If your dreams come true on this show, you know you deserve it.
:03:48. > :03:53.Friends and family have nominated tonight's dreamers and they had no
:03:53. > :03:57.idea what was in store for them. So, let's get cracking with our first
:03:57. > :04:02.unsuspecting girl. She thinks she's got a job as an extra on a brand-
:04:02. > :04:09.new TV show. Unfortunately, that show starts a stroppy demanding
:04:09. > :04:15.diva - me! Really? I'm on the set of myny new
:04:15. > :04:18.BBC One cop drama On The Beat, and we've got a very special person
:04:18. > :04:23.under surveillance. 22-year-old Hayley is described as a rock by
:04:23. > :04:28.her friends and family and her best friend Jade wants Tonight's The
:04:28. > :04:32.Night to give her a surprise she'll never forget. Hayley's definitely
:04:32. > :04:36.larger than life. She's probably the most reliable person that I
:04:36. > :04:39.know. I want everybody else to see that she's deserving as well.
:04:39. > :04:45.Hayley spends a lot of time supporting others, even though
:04:45. > :04:48.she's had her own problems to deal with. A year ago, Hayley was
:04:49. > :04:54.diagnosed with epilepsy and it came as a big shock but she's the sort
:04:55. > :05:01.of person that just takes it all in her stride. While coming to terms
:05:02. > :05:05.with her epilepsy, she restained -- remained strong for her family. Her
:05:05. > :05:11.grandfather passed away, her father was diagnosed with Parkinson's.
:05:11. > :05:15.When my husband passed away, she was here that night, stayed with us
:05:15. > :05:19.and she was an absolute brick. mum and sister are so proud of her
:05:19. > :05:22.and they think she should have her dream come true. Hayley's been
:05:22. > :05:28.through a lot the last year and definitely deserves this
:05:28. > :05:33.opportunity to shine. She's always there for her family and her
:05:33. > :05:37.friends and it'd just be fantastic. Hayley's coming here today to be an
:05:37. > :05:42.extra on my new BBC One hit cop show On the Beat. What she doesn't
:05:42. > :05:52.know is that it's a total fake, yes, and I'm not the star of the show,
:05:52. > :05:58.
:05:58. > :06:03.There's just not enough jazz hands in BBC dramas. Hayley makes extra
:06:03. > :06:08.cash as an extra, so she's here on set with best friend Jade for my
:06:08. > :06:13.pretend police series. As the crew get ready to record, the crime-
:06:13. > :06:18.fighting detective becomes a foot- stomping diva. Did you guys get
:06:18. > :06:24.stuff, are you all right? Do you want water or anything? I'm fine,
:06:24. > :06:28.had a hot chocolate earlier. That is awful. What is in there?!
:06:28. > :06:31.you get John another coffee? That's what I think of that coffee. Both
:06:31. > :06:37.the coffee and Hayley are completely thrown. She does not
:06:37. > :06:45.know where to look. Now I get all organic on set with some pre-
:06:45. > :06:51.filming meditation exercises. Get ready for this. Feel your shockra.
:06:51. > :07:01.OK. Everybody, cameramen and everything, I am employing
:07:01. > :07:09.
:07:09. > :07:19.everybody, come on! Shockra. Ready? No, no, just a minute. Ready,
:07:19. > :07:21.
:07:21. > :07:31.shockra-mocha. Shockra- mochra- froppa. Once again then end with a
:07:31. > :07:36.leap, OK. Totally focused. Ready, John? Not ready yet, just a minute.
:07:36. > :07:46.Ready? Now I'm ready. Having seen my temperamental side, Hayley's
:07:46. > :07:47.
:07:47. > :07:51.come up with an extreme way of stopping her giggles when she's on
:07:51. > :07:58.set. Puppy's dying, puppy's dying. That dog over there getting shot,
:07:58. > :08:03.that dog over there getting shot. I get the giggles really bad. Don't
:08:03. > :08:08.crack a smile. I know, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Action! Sir, there's
:08:08. > :08:18.been another mugging. I think she's OK though but these people might
:08:18. > :08:24.
:08:24. > :08:29.have seen something. OK. Just cut there. Great. Brilliant. The pup
:08:29. > :08:32.worked but how will Hayley react when I start picking on her elderly
:08:32. > :08:36.actress. While they're waiting, do you mind if we just sit and talk
:08:36. > :08:41.about the next bit because you guys are going to be right here. So come
:08:41. > :08:45.on over. Do you mind if we have the seat, love? Do you mind. All right,
:08:45. > :08:50.dear, come on. There you go, you just sit there. No, it's all right.
:08:51. > :08:57.No, do you want to sit here? I don't... She's all right, don't
:08:57. > :09:00.worry. So, are you with the... With everything that goes on and all
:09:00. > :09:03.that stuff... Pushing out a pensioner might have been the final
:09:03. > :09:07.straw. I think it's time to tell Hayley The Real Story and show her
:09:07. > :09:11.the real me. OK, fine, fine. You know what, are you cool with this,
:09:11. > :09:15.like what I said about being organic and natural, I'm just going
:09:15. > :09:19.to ad-lib something because actually, I am John Barrowman and
:09:19. > :09:23.I'm from BBC One Eastonite's the night and I'm going to make your
:09:23. > :09:31.dream come true because this is all a big set up. You are the star of
:09:31. > :09:35.this show, not me. Yeah! What the hell?! No! Yes. Yes, and all the
:09:35. > :09:40.stuff I already know about you, I'm really not that mean to old people.
:09:40. > :09:46.She's OK, see, she's fine. How would you like to perform to the
:09:46. > :09:54.nation and a big live audience, prime time Saturday night on
:09:54. > :10:03.Tonight's The Night? Oh, my God. That would be nice. Awesome! Oh, my
:10:03. > :10:09.God. I thought you were really mean. I was really upset because I really
:10:09. > :10:13.liked you. Listen, it's about making your dream come true and I
:10:13. > :10:17.know you love to sing and I know that you've been supportive of your
:10:17. > :10:21.family and your dad and everything that you've been through and we're
:10:21. > :10:30.going to make that dream come true and it's all thanks to your friend,
:10:30. > :10:37.Jade. Thank you. It's now two weeks later and in Glasgow, Hayley's
:10:37. > :10:41.getting in some last-minute rehearsals for her performance of
:10:41. > :10:45.The Wanted's song, All Time Low. Hayley thinks she's singing on her
:10:45. > :10:53.own, but I'm about to spring a surprise on her, a visit from The
:10:53. > :11:00.Wanted. And they have some special news. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm
:11:00. > :11:03.good, thank you. Hello. Nice to meet you. You all knew this didn't
:11:04. > :11:09.you?! So we have got a bit of a surprise for you. You were supposed
:11:09. > :11:13.to be singing on your own tonight, but you're actually going to be
:11:14. > :11:19.performing All Time Low with us boys. Oh, my God, that's so cool.
:11:19. > :11:24.Is that all right? Thank you very much. You sound much better than us.
:11:24. > :11:33.I'm a bit worried now. That was really scary but also amazing at
:11:33. > :11:37.the same time. Jade, you got in touch with us and now she's about
:11:37. > :11:44.to perform with five really hot guys. How excited is she, do you
:11:44. > :11:51.think? She's going to be backstage climbing the walls, I'm so jealous,
:11:51. > :11:54.can't believe it. I'm jealous too! When she was dying nodes with
:11:54. > :11:57.epilepsy, did it dent her confidence at all? For a little
:11:57. > :12:00.while. She struggled a bit, but things like this bring her
:12:00. > :12:03.confidence straight out and I'm so pleased, so happy. Well, she's
:12:03. > :12:09.going to be happy and confident tonight because we've got a girl
:12:09. > :12:15.who makes everyone feel wanted and five guys who are Wanted, let's put
:12:15. > :12:19.them together and watch the fireworks, for Hayley, Tonight's
:12:19. > :12:23.The Night! # Praying won't do it

:14:43. > :14:56.
:14:56. > :15:02.and heart Haley, that was awesome! First of
:15:02. > :15:08.all, did you enjoy yourself? Yeah so, I did. Did you expect her to
:15:08. > :15:13.come strutting out like that? she seemed nervous earlier, but she
:15:13. > :15:18.proper strutted out and obviously sounded better than we did. It is
:15:18. > :15:25.the shoes! You said she came out with confidence, was it what you
:15:25. > :15:35.expected? And more. You were amazing, an absolute star. We are
:15:35. > :15:36.
:15:36. > :15:43.all proud. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up!
:15:43. > :15:47.So, forget an all-time low, we are on an all-time high. We have more
:15:48. > :15:53.from The Wanted later, that is my wish for the evening sorted, and
:15:53. > :15:58.here is what is coming up. A Scottish girl saves the day and I
:15:58. > :16:08.send her to meet Dolly Barton. Matt Baker will be going undercover to
:16:08. > :16:12.
:16:12. > :16:18.give this Elvis fan the shock of his life. Delay Bill will lead... -
:16:18. > :16:24.- dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to meet someone very
:16:24. > :16:30.special. She has a 300 horse power dream, anybody have any idea what
:16:30. > :16:38.it could be? Here is at the surprising truth as we go driving
:16:38. > :16:42.with the vicar. I am driving through the beautiful Herefordshire
:16:42. > :16:47.countryside to surprise local vicar Reverend Sue Strutt. She dedicates
:16:47. > :16:53.her life to other people but today it is all about her. 65 year-old
:16:53. > :16:57.Susan was one of the first women to be ordained in the UK. Now she is
:16:57. > :17:01.constantly thinking about the needs of her parishioners and community.
:17:01. > :17:07.She is always available to anyone who needs her help. Her daughter
:17:07. > :17:11.explains why she has nominated her. She is supposed to have one day off
:17:11. > :17:15.a week but that sometimes doesn't happen because her phone is
:17:15. > :17:19.constantly ringing and sometimes there is somebody that needs her
:17:19. > :17:23.attention straight away. I just wanted to nominate her to give her
:17:23. > :17:28.a treat for herself because she gives so much to everybody else. It
:17:28. > :17:33.would be nice to give something back. So what kind of calm,
:17:33. > :17:38.spiritual dream does the vicar have? She has always wanted to go
:17:38. > :17:46.rally driving, and she certainly drives her car as if it is a rally
:17:46. > :17:51.kart! But husband David knows she deserves it. She has worked hard
:17:51. > :17:57.all of her life, she has asked for nothing for herself. She is my
:17:57. > :18:05.soulmate. I am her soulmate. We have got no secrets, except this
:18:05. > :18:10.one! We are at Hampton Court Castle in Herefordshire. Susan thinks she
:18:10. > :18:15.is coming to this calm majestic stately home for an afternoon visit
:18:15. > :18:25.with her husband and daughter, but she will be joined by Randy, a very
:18:25. > :18:34.loud and obnoxious accident prone American tourist. Don't mess with
:18:34. > :18:42.Texas! Ride them, cowboy. They speak French here in the UK -
:18:42. > :18:46.toilet. The castle guide Sharon is in on the set-up. I'm would like to
:18:46. > :18:51.introduce you to an American millionaire, who I like to refer to
:18:52. > :18:58.as our benefactor because he bought the house in 1994. Sounds like my
:18:59. > :19:04.daddy. Randy's Daddy sounds like a rich man, I wonder if he can afford
:19:05. > :19:12.this vase. My and this vase as you come by because we have only just
:19:12. > :19:16.recently received it. It is a beautiful room. Would they have
:19:16. > :19:23.received jesters in here? Some of my friends back at home say I am a
:19:23. > :19:31.jester because whenever I am in a space like this - there is a old
:19:31. > :19:39.song... Very loud! There is always worn on the tour, I think I can
:19:39. > :19:46.isolate him. Can Sharon come to reception, please. A call to
:19:46. > :19:52.reception, I wonder why. I will be as quick as I possibly can. Back to
:19:52. > :20:01.this vase, did somebody say it was valuable? Randy is like Abel in a
:20:01. > :20:07.china shop. Randy is on the flight back to Houston. Randy has just
:20:07. > :20:13.broken your vase. Don't worry, Tonight's The Night is about to
:20:13. > :20:20.make a full confession. It is all about you, Susan because I am John
:20:20. > :20:24.from Tonight's The Night and I am here to make your dream come true.
:20:24. > :20:29.The reason I am here today is because everybody wants something
:20:29. > :20:39.special for you. I know you have a dream, and you want to go round the
:20:39. > :20:45.racing. Yes as commission marred I have arranged for you to race with
:20:45. > :20:54.a rally driver Kris Meeke. You are going to be Vicar of speed. I can't
:20:54. > :21:04.believe it. Believe it! Next stop, Silverstone, and rallying driver
:21:04. > :21:07.
:21:07. > :21:10.Kris Meeke. Nice jumpsuit. Mind your glasses! So Uzun, are you
:21:11. > :21:17.ready for your first rallying experience here at Silverstone?
:21:17. > :21:27.am looking forward to this. He will show Susan how it is done. Hold on
:21:27. > :21:30.
:21:30. > :21:39.tight! Don't you hate Sunday drivers?! I have never driven like
:21:39. > :21:49.that in my life. I won't go as fast as that, I don't think. Susan, this
:21:49. > :21:52.
:21:52. > :22:02.is your big dream! Put your foot She is really good. Kris Meeke
:22:02. > :22:04.
:22:04. > :22:10.might have a new team made next year. It was brilliant, scary. I
:22:10. > :22:16.just don't know what I feel at the moment. If you have a dream, keep
:22:16. > :22:26.going, keep following it. You just never know. I had almost given up
:22:26. > :22:31.
:22:31. > :22:36.on this one but it came true and Susan, you said you were too old to
:22:36. > :22:43.do it. How does it feel now once you have done it? I'm think I have
:22:43. > :22:49.a new career ready for when I retire. Follow your dreams, keep
:22:49. > :22:53.going. You are never too old. you will keep driving like that to
:22:53. > :22:57.the local shops? I have noticed I take the corner as a little bit
:22:57. > :23:03.fast since I did that. important was it for you to see
:23:03. > :23:08.your mum fulfil one of her dreams? Very important. She does so much
:23:08. > :23:14.for other people, and for the family as well. She always put
:23:14. > :23:21.other people first, never herself. It was important for her to fulfil
:23:21. > :23:26.a dream that was just for her. certainly was just for her and we
:23:26. > :23:33.are glad you got in touch. But everybody out there, watch those
:23:33. > :23:43.corners because she is coming! Ladies and gentlemen, Reverend Sue
:23:43. > :23:49.
:23:49. > :23:58.Sorry to break up the family moment, I just need to come past. Still to
:23:58. > :24:08.come, Dolly pattern becomes a singing teacher. And yes... We have
:24:08. > :24:17.
:24:17. > :24:22.got more from Britain's biggest boy I have been looking in a lot have
:24:22. > :24:28.your photo albums and I found some classic wedding photographs. Here
:24:28. > :24:33.is Linda and Kenneth. That is screaming 1970s! Here is another
:24:34. > :24:38.one, Teddy and Alex. She is laughing on the wedding day because
:24:38. > :24:43.she just found out what is underneath his kilt! This one was
:24:43. > :24:49.such a sunny day, this bride wore sunglasses in the church. The sun
:24:49. > :24:53.was shining that day, but that is not the reason for the sunglasses,
:24:53. > :24:58.isn't that right? We have got a very special surprise for you
:24:58. > :25:06.tonight because your wedding didn't go exactly according to plan, did
:25:06. > :25:16.it? No, not at all. You guys come with me, and you guys take a look
:25:16. > :25:17.
:25:17. > :25:24.at this. I first spoke to Jackie at Coventry ice-rink. It was almost
:25:24. > :25:28.love at first sight. I just felt in my heart she was the one for me.
:25:28. > :25:32.Jackie and I have been best friends literally since the day we met. I
:25:32. > :25:37.remember her telling me she was engaged and she was over the moon,
:25:37. > :25:41.so excited about it and she put so much planning into the wedding
:25:41. > :25:45.itself. The night before the wedding, I had a phone call to say
:25:45. > :25:50.that Jackie had fallen from the top of the stairs and had an accident.
:25:50. > :25:53.Her face was very swollen and she had a black eye. It was very
:25:53. > :25:59.traumatic but at the time I thought the wedding was definitely
:25:59. > :26:06.cancelled. My daughter was crying all morning. Wouldn't you? After
:26:06. > :26:10.months of planning and it will goes wrong. I was overjoyed she turned
:26:10. > :26:15.up for the wedding knowing what she had gone through. I think Jackie
:26:15. > :26:20.was in a lot more pain than she let on to anyone. She put on a very
:26:20. > :26:26.brave face. She still has nightmares about her big day and
:26:26. > :26:30.she deserves to have a lovely night tonight. I want John to sing to her
:26:30. > :26:36.because the wedding day is not a day that she looks back on with
:26:36. > :26:41.fond memories. A special song for me was by Texas, our first song
:26:41. > :26:46.together as man and wife. I hope you have a great night, I Love You
:26:46. > :26:56.to Bits, and you were always the one for me. I can't imagine my life
:26:56. > :26:57.
:26:57. > :27:02.without you. That in itself is worth this evening, but how do you
:27:02. > :27:08.look back on Monday? I enjoyed the day but it is not what every bride
:27:08. > :27:14.dreams of, to get married wearing a pair of sunglasses and having a big
:27:14. > :27:21.black car a. Did you enjoy your first dance? We didn't really enjoy
:27:21. > :27:25.the first dance, it was not how it was meant to be. Your dream didn't
:27:25. > :27:35.go as well as you wanted but we are going to bring it back to life
:27:35. > :27:52.
:27:52. > :27:56.because, Jackie, I am going to sing # I think that you're the one When
:27:56. > :28:06.everytime you call me lady I don't know what it is That makes me feel
:28:06. > :28:10.
:28:10. > :28:20.like this just lately yeah # Those heavenly calls You knew I was on my
:28:20. > :28:26.
:28:26. > :28:36.own Those heavenly calls We stepped into the unknown # Let me sleep So
:28:36. > :28:44.
:28:44. > :28:54.I can dream of you Let me sleep So I can be with you Hold me close,
:28:54. > :28:54.
:28:54. > :29:02.let me be with you At least tonight, we'll be misunderstood.
:29:02. > :29:12.Jackie, here are your family, some of the original wedding guests.
:29:12. > :29:12.
:29:12. > :29:18.# Let me sleep so I can dream of you.
:29:18. > :29:28.# Let me sleep so I can be with you. # Let me sleep so I can dream of
:29:28. > :29:32.
:29:32. > :29:42.you. # Let me sleep so I can be reviewed.
:29:42. > :29:49.
:29:49. > :29:53.You're shaking. Yes. So you are genuinely surprised? Yes, I am.
:29:53. > :30:03.there anything that you would like to say to this secretive lot behind
:30:03. > :30:08.you and the man whoo set it all up? Thank you very much for doing that.
:30:08. > :30:13.Everyone, our black-eyed bride, Jackie!
:30:13. > :30:19.Still to come, we've got a show- stopping finale from the stars of
:30:19. > :30:25.the hit West End musical, Million Dollar Quartet. And, The Wanted are
:30:25. > :30:33.back. But first, a story worthy of an
:30:33. > :30:36.Alfred Hitchcock film. Stop it! No, not that one. Just
:30:37. > :30:41.imagine, you're in your favourite restaurant when a mystery man
:30:41. > :30:50.rushes in. What do you do? Well, if you are any smart of sterling, you
:30:50. > :30:56.swing into action. Here's what happened when that man met Annie
:30:56. > :31:01.Small! We are in Scotland, stirling to be
:31:01. > :31:04.exact, packing out this pub with a load of cameras to surprise Annie
:31:04. > :31:10.Smart. What a scandalous surprise we have in store, because I am
:31:10. > :31:14.about to hit the headlines. We have hired the cameras of our fake
:31:14. > :31:18.paparazzi, all to convince Annie that John Barrowman's been a very
:31:18. > :31:22.naughty boy. Me, bad? Well, 31- year-old Annie has no idea her
:31:22. > :31:27.sister Jane's organised a gate- crasher for their quiet, relaxing
:31:27. > :31:30.lunch. It's me, escaping from the Papps!
:31:30. > :31:35.Annie's family have always had a passion for music. They've
:31:35. > :31:40.performed together from an early age, but their harmony was about to
:31:40. > :31:44.be shattered. Her sister Jane explains. My father has cancer at
:31:44. > :31:49.the moment. He had bowel cancer, diagnosed about two years ago.
:31:49. > :31:55.Annie gave up everything to help dad. I was in hospital for six
:31:55. > :32:00.weeks and I saw Annie and the kids every day for six weeks. That's how
:32:00. > :32:04.they spent their summer holidays. I was so proud of them. The illness
:32:04. > :32:08.took its toll on Annie and she immediately began to think of ways
:32:08. > :32:11.to raise funds. She combined disco with her passion for music and set
:32:11. > :32:15.up a choir in the village to pull everyone together. The message
:32:15. > :32:21.quickly spread and Annie's positive attitude became infectious for
:32:21. > :32:26.everyone around in need of a boost. The choir now has 100 members who
:32:26. > :32:30.raise money for cancer charities and hospices. Caroline and Beth
:32:30. > :32:35.tell us more. It's a place where people go to
:32:35. > :32:41.sormise, a place where we meet friends. -- to socialise. Irbgs
:32:41. > :32:47.she's within in a million. There's a drama unfolding outside as I'm
:32:47. > :32:54.on-the-run from some Papps. But, will Annie believe my story and
:32:54. > :33:01.jump to the rescue. Jesus. There's a major problem here, I've been
:33:01. > :33:08.followed by a bunch of Papps. The place is surrounded by paparazzi.
:33:08. > :33:16.You told me this wasn't going to get out. My mom will lay me over 2t
:33:16. > :33:21.coals around this one. Do you need any help? So sorry... Do you need a
:33:21. > :33:27.lift anywhere? I may take you up on that... You can steal my car.
:33:27. > :33:37.Papps are snapping at my heels. going to sit with you. Could you
:33:37. > :33:39.
:33:39. > :33:48.ask them to move, please. Sorry, sorry... Really sorry. Do you mind
:33:48. > :33:53.if I have a mushroom?! When I'm stressed I eat. Cappuccino? No, no,
:33:53. > :33:56.I'll have a mushroom. Sorry, I'm John, nice to meet you. Annie.
:33:56. > :34:01.After taking her seat and her mushrooms, I make a break for it,
:34:01. > :34:06.leaving a sweet and bewildered Annie to boost my ego inside. Did
:34:06. > :34:13.you not recognise him? I don't know... He's incredibly famous on
:34:13. > :34:17.the West End, a singer, been on BBC. Very famous. OK. She's fallen for
:34:17. > :34:25.it, hook line and sinker. She offered to come out and get rid of
:34:25. > :34:30.'em and she offered to drive me somewhere. She's brilliant. Looks
:34:30. > :34:34.like compassionate Annie will help anyone, even a mushroom thief. All
:34:34. > :34:44.right, I'll take a picture with you, for goodness sake. I have to say
:34:44. > :34:46.
:34:46. > :34:50.something, it's really not about me, it's about you! Oh! I am John
:34:50. > :34:59.Barrowman, from BBC One Eastonite's the night and Annie, I'm going to
:34:59. > :35:03.make you dream come true. Oh, my God. The Scotland Choir are
:35:04. > :35:07.inspirational for you because it makes people happy, puts smiles on
:35:07. > :35:10.their faces. Your dream is to sing in front of millions of people. So
:35:10. > :35:15.I'm going to take you to the Tonight's The Night studio and you
:35:15. > :35:19.are going to perform in front of millions of people. It's going to
:35:19. > :35:25.require you travelling a little bit. OK with that? Yep. You are going to
:35:25. > :35:29.travel to Nashville Tennessee, because you are going to travel to
:35:29. > :35:34.see the legendary Dolly Parton for some training. You are going to be
:35:34. > :35:37.working nine to five, what a way to make a living. Never been out of
:35:37. > :35:41.Europe before so I'm extremely excited about going to Nashville
:35:41. > :35:46.and meeting Dolly and I think I'm in very much a state of shock as
:35:46. > :35:51.well. 15 hours and 4,000 miles later, Annie and sister Jane arrive
:35:51. > :35:56.in Nashville and the reality of meeting her idol is sinking in.
:35:56. > :36:02.Even five minutes with a lady like Dolly's just mind-blowing. Before
:36:02. > :36:08.they meet the legend herself, the girls get prepared by checking out
:36:08. > :36:15.this town. But first, some appropriate clothing, please...
:36:15. > :36:20.Having met the King of rock, it's time for Annie to meet the Queen of
:36:20. > :36:26.country. Hello. You have to be Annie. Come here and give me a hug.
:36:26. > :36:31.How are you? # Begun to get myself together
:36:31. > :36:37.# You walked right in the door # Just like you've done before
:36:37. > :36:41.# And wrapped my heart # Round your little finger
:36:41. > :36:45.# Here You Come Again... # Got a beautiful quality in your voice, a
:36:45. > :36:50.beautiful range. You've obviously been singing for a long time.
:36:50. > :36:54.I was this big. So have I, I'm still that high but still singing.
:36:54. > :36:59.The other question is, how can I cope with my nerves. Anything you
:36:59. > :37:02.can recommend that I do In order to steal your nerves, look out into
:37:02. > :37:05.the crowd and picture everybody naked then you have a sense of
:37:05. > :37:10.humour, but more than anything, I think, these are my friends, not
:37:10. > :37:17.enemies, they didn't come to shoot me, you know, they came here to
:37:17. > :37:20.hear me sing. You get out there, break a leg, but not a nail. OK. I
:37:20. > :37:23.think Annie will do great, a great personality, a great voice, a
:37:23. > :37:27.little nervous but still has the confidence she needs to pull it off.
:37:27. > :37:32.I'm rooting for her and I know she's going to do great. It's been
:37:32. > :37:36.a dream come true to come here, get some advice from Dolly about my
:37:36. > :37:42.performance and I'm read tkwroi take to the stage on national
:37:42. > :37:52.television and bring it on -- ready to take to the stage. Performing
:37:52. > :38:01.
:38:01. > :38:04.with her choir, Heart of Scotland, # Here you come again
:38:04. > :38:09.# Just when I'm about to get myself together
:38:09. > :38:13.# You waltz right in the door # Just like you done before
:38:13. > :38:17.# And wrap my heart round your little finger
:38:17. > :38:20.# Here You Come Again # Just when I'm about to make it
:38:20. > :38:27.work without you # You look into my eyes
:38:27. > :38:31.# And lie those pretty lies # And pretty soon I'm wondering
:38:31. > :38:35.# How I came to doubt you # All I gotta do
:38:36. > :38:41.# Is smile and smile # And there go all my defences
:38:41. > :38:47.# Just leave it up to you # And in a little while
:38:47. > :38:57.# You're messing up my mind # And filling up my senses
:38:57. > :39:02.
:39:02. > :39:06.# All I gotta do is smile and smile # And there go all my defences
:39:06. > :39:11.# Just leave it up to you # And in a little while
:39:11. > :39:17.# You're messing up my mind # And filling up my senses
:39:17. > :39:21.# Here you go again # Looking better than a body
:39:21. > :39:26.# Has a right to # And shaking me up so
:39:26. > :39:36.# That all I really know # Is Here You Come Again
:39:36. > :39:47.
:39:47. > :39:57.# Here I go # Here You Come Again
:39:57. > :40:10.
:40:10. > :40:14.# Here I go... # You saved me from the paps, went to
:40:14. > :40:19.Nashville, met Dolly Parton. What has been the best part of this?
:40:19. > :40:23.every part of the experience has been incredible. It was lovely to
:40:23. > :40:28.have the choir with me tonight especially, but...
:40:28. > :40:32.APPLAUSE. Meeting Dolly, spending some time with Dolly and her top
:40:32. > :40:36.tips about my performance tonight was my highlight, it was amazing.
:40:36. > :40:40.You are shaking. Was it a dream come true for you? It was, I can't
:40:40. > :40:47.thank everybody enough and especially Jane for nominating me.
:40:47. > :40:51.I'm just so happy. Your sister? Who is in choir, by the way!
:40:51. > :40:56.Well, we are glad we could do it, ladies and gentlemen, a big country
:40:56. > :41:02.and western round of applause for Annie Smart.
:41:02. > :41:07.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE As you have seen, whether I'm
:41:07. > :41:10.playing a badly behaved actor or a pap, I love surprisings the good
:41:10. > :41:16.people of the UK. But sometimes, I need a little help from my friends.
:41:16. > :41:20.For this next srp rise, I needed a real jack-of-all-trades, a man
:41:20. > :41:27.who's faced challenges on Blue Peter, Strictly, The One Show and
:41:27. > :41:32.Countryfile, but for us, he'll face of his biggest TV challenges yet.
:41:32. > :41:38.It's Matt Baker. Hello.
:41:39. > :41:43.Matt, you're obviously here for a reason? Yes, with so many dreams to
:41:43. > :41:49.make come true, I'm happy to help out when I can. So glad you are,
:41:49. > :41:55.but we needed a radio studio for this one? Yes, check one
:41:55. > :41:58.interviewee that definitely wasn't checked. And one Matt Baker in
:41:58. > :42:03.disguise. Check! John has sent me to York to make a
:42:03. > :42:08.dream come true for mobile DJ and fund-raising superstar Richard
:42:08. > :42:11.hinds. At this time on a Saturday, he's usually preparing for his
:42:11. > :42:15.mobile disco, but today, BBC Radio York have asked him to be a guest
:42:15. > :42:20.on their brand-new show, Keith Magpie in the Afternoon and he
:42:20. > :42:23.thinks he's here to talk about his charity work. But Richard doesn't
:42:23. > :42:28.know that Tonight's The Night are rigging the studio with cameras.
:42:28. > :42:34.While he's in reception, I'm being transformed into BBC Radio York's
:42:34. > :42:38.newest and loudest star. All right there, it's Keith Magpie on the
:42:38. > :42:41.radio. Richard has been fund- raising for years and his latest
:42:41. > :42:46.venture was this charity single he recorded with his daughter last
:42:46. > :42:52.Christmas, in aid of a local children's special needs charity
:42:52. > :42:56.called Snappy and the manager Anne is truly grateful. Richard came in,
:42:56. > :43:00.he went out to meet the need, involving the whole family, his
:43:00. > :43:06.friends, everyone. Everyone wants to do it because it's Richard.
:43:06. > :43:11.So what is Richard's big wish? According to wife Jane, it might be
:43:11. > :43:19.quite tricky. His big wish, he'd love Elvis to come back to life to
:43:19. > :43:24.sing with him. Yep, that's going to be hard. But we've got a solution.
:43:24. > :43:29.To help Jane and Emily say thank you, we have arranged for him to
:43:29. > :43:33.sing with Elvis, one of the stars of the Million Dollar Quartet.
:43:33. > :43:36.Looking forward to seeing him on stage and he deserves it very much
:43:36. > :43:40.because he's helped loads of other people. Things like this just don't
:43:40. > :43:46.happen to people like us so I think he'll be extremely amazed but
:43:46. > :43:52.thrilled at the same time. Black-and-white through and through,
:43:52. > :43:55.my name's Keith Magpie, who are you. Another great catch phrase in. York,
:43:55. > :44:02.Richard's all primed to answer questions about his charity work,
:44:02. > :44:06.but dozey DJ Keith's got his guests mixed up and mistaken Richard for
:44:06. > :44:09.his next guest who is an expert on beaches, Mr Richards. With the
:44:09. > :44:13.family watching next door, here comes the phone-in from hell. But
:44:13. > :44:19.the show is not being broadcast and it's our team who're calling in.
:44:19. > :44:24.OK, tell you what, let's go to the lines. Who've we got on line three.
:44:24. > :44:28.How you doing, pet? Who are you and where are you calling from? Susan
:44:28. > :44:38.from Leeds. Listen, we've got our beach expert here, Mr Richards.
:44:38. > :44:44.
:44:44. > :44:51.Mr Richards, are the coastlines and beaches more windy now? Have you
:44:51. > :44:57.noticed more wind? We will be right back. It is the weather coming into
:44:57. > :45:03.microseconds. We will be right back. I am not Mr Richards. Just go with
:45:03. > :45:09.it, I will make it easy. So the question we are asking here is how
:45:09. > :45:15.we noticed the beaches are getting breezier, fresh wind coming in from
:45:15. > :45:22.the east? I think we have, yes. is good kite flying weather at the
:45:22. > :45:32.moment. Definitely. Why? easterly wind is a lot higher now,
:45:32. > :45:37.
:45:37. > :45:42.and taking them a lot further. you know what this next song is? He
:45:42. > :45:52.is obviously keen to learn, so I am going to put him in the hot seat. I
:45:52. > :45:53.
:45:54. > :45:59.am going to make out, but just sit here and press go. Things will take
:45:59. > :46:05.a turn for the weird for Richard because the next song lined up is
:46:05. > :46:15.the charity record he made with his daughter, Emily. I can't keep the
:46:15. > :46:24.moustache on any more! Listen, I am not keep Magpie, I am actually Matt
:46:24. > :46:32.Baker from Tonight's The Night. John has sent me to make your
:46:32. > :46:37.dreams come true. How do you feel? Nervous. Shocked! The were you
:46:37. > :46:43.thinking what is going on? Yes. would it feel to sing with the West
:46:43. > :46:49.End cast of Million Dollar Quartet? Will you do it? Yes. Who do you
:46:49. > :46:58.think put you up for this? I are have got a feeling it was my wife.
:46:58. > :47:04.Let me take a step to the side and see - is your wife here? I love it!
:47:04. > :47:10.I can't believe my wife put me up to this. I love her to bits, I have
:47:10. > :47:14.got to forgive her. A one week later, and a very nervous Richard
:47:14. > :47:24.is in London's West End to meet the Million Dollar Quartet cast and
:47:24. > :47:27.
:47:28. > :47:32.they are keen to get rehearsing We are going to be out of our
:47:32. > :47:37.comfort zone as well. This is where we belong, and because of your wife
:47:37. > :47:42.we have now got to go to the television studio and show off on
:47:42. > :47:47.television so we will probably be as nervous as you! We are all in it
:47:47. > :47:54.together, all in the same boat. once the music starts, we are just
:47:54. > :47:59.going to go for it. Some people like to rock, some people like to
:47:59. > :48:03.roll. We are moving and grooving, let's have a party. Once I was on
:48:03. > :48:10.the stage with the guys, watching them play and listening to them
:48:10. > :48:14.saying, it was fantastic. Made me feel a lot more comfortable. It is
:48:14. > :48:19.that great transition from feeling nervous to realising you are having
:48:19. > :48:29.the best time. I think Richard will get that within the first couple of
:48:29. > :48:32.
:48:32. > :48:39.beats of the song. You are going to be great. Thank you very much!
:48:39. > :48:46.he got over the shock yet? I think so. He has taken a couple of weeks
:48:46. > :48:49.but it has finally hit home. He had such confidence. He knew nothing
:48:49. > :48:54.about the weather, knew nothing about which way the wind was coming
:48:54. > :48:59.from and how to fly a kite! What ever I threw at him, he just kept
:49:00. > :49:09.going. We can't wait for him, he will be brilliant. I have also had
:49:09. > :49:14.some experience in time travel so I am sending Richard back to the 19
:49:14. > :49:24.50s. It is the cast of the West End musical, Million Dollar Quartet.
:49:24. > :49:43.
:49:43. > :49:51.# Some people like to rock, some people like to roll. We are moving
:49:51. > :50:00.and grooving to satisfy your soul. # Let's have a party # Let's have a
:50:00. > :50:04.party. Let's have a party tonight.
:50:04. > :50:14.I never kissed her there but I can shake a chicken in the middle of
:50:14. > :50:14.
:50:14. > :50:19.the room. # Let's have a party.
:50:19. > :50:29.# Let's have a party tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Richard
:50:29. > :50:38.
:50:38. > :50:48.# Let's have a party. Let's have a party. Let's have a party will
:50:48. > :50:49.
:50:49. > :50:59.start let's have a party tonight. # Bring a shovel if you really want
:50:59. > :51:04.
:51:04. > :51:14.# Let's have a party tonight. dinner is on the stairs, the bread
