:02:45. > :02:47.# I gotta feeling that tonight's gonna be a good night
:02:47. > :02:49.# That tonight's gonna be a good night
:02:49. > :02:52.# That tonight's gonna be a good, good night
:02:52. > :02:54.# A feeling that tonight's gonna be a good night
:02:54. > :02:57.# That tonight's gonna be a good night

:03:07. > :03:22.
:03:22. > :03:27.# A feeling, woohoo, that tonight's CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
:03:27. > :03:32.Hello and welcome to Tonight's The Night.
:03:32. > :03:35.Yes, on this show, I go up and down the UK to make dreams come true for
:03:35. > :03:42.some very deserving people. They've all been nominated by friends and
:03:42. > :03:46.family. In fact, I've got an e-mail here to let you see what kind we
:03:46. > :03:51.get here. It says "dear Tonight's The Night, could you please fulfil
:03:51. > :03:55.my son's dream of flying to New York, performing as the lead in rez
:03:55. > :04:02.miserables and meeting David Beckham". Mother, I've told you to
:04:02. > :04:05.stop e-mailing! I'm doing all right, mom!
:04:06. > :04:15.Anyway, here is a taste of the journeys I'm taking and the dreams
:04:16. > :04:17.
:04:17. > :04:23.I'm making come true. Beverley Knight is here. We revisit
:04:23. > :04:27.the west efpbd with Ruthy Henshall. A brave mom goes sky high and
:04:27. > :04:33.Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood turns a lady into a leading
:04:33. > :04:37.lady. So, let's start delivering some
:04:37. > :04:42.dreams. Shakespeare once wrote "the course
:04:42. > :04:47.of true love never did run smooth", especially when you combine true
:04:47. > :04:51.love, a Renault Laguna and a flat tyre. So what happens when you have
:04:52. > :04:55.a broken down relationship and a broken down car? You need to call
:04:55. > :05:00.an expert. I've come home to Glasgow, the City
:05:00. > :05:08.of my birth, to surprise Gavin Cooper, a family man through and
:05:08. > :05:17.through. Gavin is used to repairing broken
:05:17. > :05:24.cars, but we are asking him to repair a broken hearted bride. Jump,
:05:24. > :05:27.cough, sing.... Laaaar. Gavin a breakdown patrolman and his
:05:27. > :05:33.wife says he'll always go the extra mile for his family. Family to
:05:33. > :05:38.Gavin is very important. That's what Gavin says is his main love in
:05:38. > :05:44.life is his family making sure we're OK. Gavin is the first to
:05:44. > :05:52.offer to assist in any way. Gavin's mother-in-law was diagnosed with
:05:52. > :05:57.cancer, since then he's been a tower of strength for the family.
:05:57. > :06:01.Since I've been in a wheelchair, he's been a superb help whenever
:06:01. > :06:08.here or on holiday. Nothing is a problem to him and it's wonderful
:06:08. > :06:13.to have a person like that in your family. When he's not helping his
:06:13. > :06:17.family, his son Jordan is his number one fan. He's a bit of a
:06:17. > :06:20.rock star. His dream is to sing with Britain's platinum selling
:06:20. > :06:24.Queen of soul, Beverley Knight. So I'm going to make that dream come
:06:24. > :06:28.true. Dearly beloved, we are gathered
:06:28. > :06:31.here today... Outside Gavin's in laws to fit the place out with
:06:31. > :06:37.hidden cameras and to watch the meeting of two people, Gavin and
:06:37. > :06:41.our pretend bride. Hmm. I'll be instructing her from inside the
:06:41. > :06:45.house. Her first job is to tell ga vin she's got a flat tyre and cold
:06:45. > :06:50.feet on the way to the altar -- Gavin. OK, the bride is set, I'm
:06:50. > :07:00.going to be speaking to her through this into her ear piece. Let the
:07:00. > :07:01.
:07:01. > :07:07.madness begin. This is him. Come on. The recoveryman wastes no time
:07:07. > :07:11.getting to work. But it's more than the tyre looking for attention.
:07:11. > :07:15.supposed to be getting married today. I think I've made a big
:07:15. > :07:20.mistake. Don't panic, you know, you'll look back and laugh 679
:07:20. > :07:27.not just a car breakdown, I feel like I'm having a nervous breakdown
:07:27. > :07:34.today. Can you just hold my hand a minute, please. It's all right,
:07:34. > :07:44.just sit down. Say to him, I was supposed to sing my song today.
:07:44. > :07:45.
:07:45. > :07:49.you know that se sleen Dionne song, -- Celine Dionne song, here, far,
:07:49. > :07:53.wherever you are, I believe that the heart will go on. Gavin's too
:07:53. > :08:00.polite to point out that it's not just the tyre that's flat, but how
:08:00. > :08:08.will he cope with this next challenge. Can you say that? Do you
:08:08. > :08:14.take David Jebediah, is that it, Robinson Duckford to be your lawful
:08:14. > :08:22.wedded husband. I do. You say I do. Is it that easy? It's that easy.
:08:23. > :08:30.it like "I do" or "I do". Say it with distinction "I do!". I do.
:08:30. > :08:33.Louder, I do. I do. OK, I'm going to call and pretend to be David,
:08:33. > :08:37.the groom. Oh, my God, that's him on the phone.
:08:37. > :08:43.My goodness. I can't talk, I'll pass you over, please, I can't talk
:08:43. > :08:50.to you. Hello there. Listen, pal, she's my sweetheart, go down on
:08:50. > :08:55.your knee, calm her down, would you just do it for me. Thanks, pal,
:08:55. > :09:01.you're brilliant. I have to get down on one knee and say to him
:09:01. > :09:07.that you're his sweetheart. There you go, she loves you. That's
:09:07. > :09:11.brilliant. I'm here, if you look right behind you. I'm John
:09:11. > :09:16.Barrowman from BBC One Eastonite's the night, Gavin and Higham to make

:09:25. > :09:30.tonight because someone contacted us to say you love singing. How
:09:30. > :09:34.would you like us to take you to the Tonight's The Night studio and
:09:34. > :09:44.you are going to be singing with Beverley Knight. I've just been
:09:44. > :09:45.
:09:45. > :09:49.watching her on the telly. Everyone's in on this. Traux, Trace.
:09:50. > :09:55.-- thanks, Trace. The fact that it will be happening very, very soon,

:19:03. > :19:07.
:19:07. > :19:12.over, Michelle. You shocked? Yeah I am. I'm really excited, because I

:21:30. > :21:36.thought wasn't going to happen. But I'm worried a about the landing.
:21:36. > :21:40.Will end up on my bottom but I want to be graceful. Since John turned
:21:40. > :21:50.up, it has been one big rollercoaster. This is it now. I
:21:50. > :21:54.
:21:54. > :22:04.can't wait. Here we go then. Up, up and away. What goes up, must come
:22:04. > :22:11.
:22:11. > :22:21.# Jump, might as well jump! Go ahead and jump! Amazing. Tonight's

:23:43. > :23:48.Martin! APPLAUSE. Now we have so many dreams to come true, I can't
:23:48. > :23:53.be every where, but I have friends to help. When a dream dropped in, I
:23:53. > :23:59.knew the guy to call. He has been around the West End more than a
:23:59. > :24:09.taxi driver. I is Craig Revel Horwood! -- it is Craig Revel
:24:09. > :24:13.Horwood! Craig, thank you for that. People see you as a shoot from the
:24:13. > :24:19.hip, take no prisoners kind of guy. I have known you for a long time
:24:19. > :24:27.and I know that he is actually a shoot from the hip no prisoners
:24:27. > :24:33.kind of guy. So it must have been touf rein that in? Ha, ha, very
:24:33. > :24:38.funny John. Actually, I had to work very hard and adapt to my
:24:38. > :24:44.surroundings. So here is the plot for this next event. Enter stage
:24:44. > :24:50.left an unsuspecting dreerm enter a devastatingly handsome lead
:24:50. > :25:00.man. That is him by the way. And here is what laps when their eyes
:25:00. > :25:02.
:25:02. > :25:08.meet over an egg sandwich and a hot I'm in Belfast to surprise a
:25:08. > :25:12.special lady. But I am going to make a real meal of it. Youth
:25:12. > :25:18.worker Angela dreamed of a career in the west end and is still always
:25:18. > :25:23.singing, according to her husband. She has my Three children singing.
:25:23. > :25:27.I'm trying to give them a rugby ball, and she has them singing John
:25:27. > :25:31.Barrowman songs. But Angela gave up her dreams to concentrate on her
:25:31. > :25:36.family and her job at Barnardos, where she helps vulnerable young
:25:36. > :25:41.people like Michelle to live independent lives. She changed my
:25:41. > :25:46.life. I know now when I need her, whether it is night or day she will
:25:46. > :25:50.be there. So sister-in-law Claire has asked us to make her dreams
:25:50. > :25:58.come true and perform in front of the nation with the cast of hit
:25:58. > :26:03.West End musical Dreamboats and Petticoats. I can't wait to see how
:26:03. > :26:13.she reacts. She will laugh her legs off and she deserves this treat to
:26:13. > :26:14.
:26:14. > :26:18.have a go and shine. This is Angela's brother's sandwich shop.
:26:18. > :26:28.But she doesn't know she is going to encounter the biggest diva the
:26:28. > :26:29.
:26:29. > :26:36.world has ever seen. Me! Easy Craig, don't peak Foo early. Angela is
:26:36. > :26:43.unaware we have rigged the place with hidden cameras. Let's see how
:26:43. > :26:53.she deals with my demand. Hello darling. How are we all here? Tell
:26:53. > :26:55.
:26:55. > :26:59.me, do you have a free range pick peas? -- chickpeas? No. Can I rope
:26:59. > :27:06.Angela into helping with my ridiculous request, or will she
:27:06. > :27:12.tell me to shove my sandwich. If I could have tomatos with that. I
:27:12. > :27:17.don't suppose I could get you to just look through the tomato there,
:27:17. > :27:24.because I'm concerned, because I can't have pips. Can you just go
:27:24. > :27:29.through it and pick them out. out the pips? Yes, while your
:27:29. > :27:36.making the sandwich, darling. That would be great. Who do you think I
:27:36. > :27:42.am? I would love it. You pick the pips out of your tomatoes. No I
:27:42. > :27:47.can't. I have sort of this bizarre fear of them oddly. Just three of
:27:47. > :27:55.those would be good. Thank you. That will do you. A bit dry.
:27:56. > :28:02.dear. Can you fold it a bit more neatly. Sorry. Oh we have a slight
:28:03. > :28:08.problem. I don't... Carry money. I'm sort of like the Queen. So I
:28:08. > :28:17.don't suppose... It would be possible at all to dance for my
:28:17. > :28:23.sandwich? I do have a wonderful like costume here. Let's dry try it.
:28:24. > :28:31.Oh look! Would you put it on, please? Oh I love a bit of bling.
:28:31. > :28:41.Do you think this will pay for my sandwich? I think. So a wee shuffle.
:28:41. > :28:41.
:28:41. > :28:47.Let's do a polka. Kick and change. And flick. You're fabulous. You
:28:47. > :28:55.should be on the stage. I am passed it Craig. No you're never passed it.
:28:55. > :29:03.You are never passed it. I'm proof of that, I'm 25 and still dancing.
:29:03. > :29:08.It is time to be honest. My love. My name is Craig Revel Horwood. I'm
:29:08. > :29:18.from Tonight's The Night and John Barrowman has sent me down here to
:29:18. > :29:19.
:29:19. > :29:25.make your dreams come true. I know your dream is to go on stage. Well
:29:25. > :29:30.how would you like to come to Tonight's The Night and sing in
:29:30. > :29:38.front of the entire UK. How do you feel about that? Oh I don't know
:29:38. > :29:44.what to say. Are you up for it. course I am. How brilliant. Oh I
:29:44. > :29:52.knew you were up to something. I was dumbfounded. I am so excited. I
:29:52. > :29:57.can't wait. My husband said you are wearing those leggings out. That is
:29:57. > :30:07.why. Who do you think will have nominated you for such a thing?
:30:07. > :30:07.
:30:07. > :30:11.Claire. Well great guess. It was Claire. Fantastic. A week later
:30:11. > :30:21.Angela is in the west end to rehearse you don't know me, the
:30:21. > :30:27.song she will sing with the stars of dream boats and petty coats.
:30:27. > :30:33.Quite nerve-wracking. I still don't know my word. Why don't you do a
:30:33. > :30:37.back-to-back sort of... Mother and daughter? They are so young and
:30:37. > :30:45.they have so much energy. That bounced off me. # Every time you
:30:45. > :30:53.pass me by # You don't know. Imimpressed, she picked it up
:30:53. > :30:59.quickly and has not hit a single bum note. # How I wish the one with
:30:59. > :31:05.you. She is nervous but you have to have nerves when you go on stage.
:31:05. > :31:11.It will drive you through. On the night she will be fantastic. # But
:31:11. > :31:18.you don't know. I know I will be nervous. But I think it will be all
:31:18. > :31:22.right on the night. Claire, you're Angela's sister-in-law. How much is
:31:23. > :31:28.she looking forward to this? She is going to be so excited and just
:31:28. > :31:37.diing to get on wit. She said she was nervous. Do you think she will
:31:37. > :31:40.be? She will pull it out of Dag bag. Daid, her husband, a a lot children
:31:40. > :31:47.she helps, will they think it is special? Absolutely. I thing they
:31:47. > :31:50.will see her in a different. I know they will be blown away. Craig she
:31:50. > :31:55.has confidence. Because not many people will stand up to you and she
:31:55. > :32:00.made you try to pick out your own pips. She gave me a run for my
:32:00. > :32:06.money. I was petrified that day. She was brilliant. She just went
:32:06. > :32:15.along with it and surprisingly. Here we go. Hope she goes along
:32:15. > :32:25.with it tonight. With the stars of Dreamboats and Petticoats, Angela,
:32:25. > :32:33.
:32:33. > :32:38.# Woah, woah, woah, # Oh, yes, yes
:32:38. > :32:44.# Woah, woah, woah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah
:32:45. > :32:51.# All though I love you so # Oh you don't know
:32:51. > :32:59.# You don't know just how I feel # For my love I darnt reveal
:32:59. > :33:08.# I am so, so afraid # You might not care
:33:08. > :33:16.# Every time you pass me by # Oh, you don't know, you don't
:33:16. > :33:21.know # Every time you pass me by
:33:21. > :33:25.# Oh, you don't know # You don't know what I've been
:33:25. > :33:35.through # Seeing someone else with you
:33:35. > :33:36.
:33:36. > :33:45.# Oh, I wish the one with you, were # But you don't know
:33:45. > :33:54.# I would tell you, if I believed # That you might care someday
:33:54. > :33:59.# But until then I'll never give this away
:33:59. > :34:02.# So, a secret it must stay # And you don't know, you don't
:34:02. > :34:07.know # How hard to bear
:34:07. > :34:17.# Is this one way love affair # For it breaks my heart to be in
:34:17. > :34:32.
:34:33. > :34:42.love CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
:34:42. > :34:47.How was it? Loved it. It was fabulous.
:34:47. > :34:51.Susanna, did she look or feel nervous? Not at all, I think she
:34:51. > :34:56.was more composed than me. She was brave and did a fantastic job, well
:34:56. > :34:59.done. Sam, you are new to the cast, how is it going? It's going well.
:34:59. > :35:04.We started Monday ourselves so we are in the same position as you,
:35:04. > :35:09.our hearts were going but you were fantastic. Craig, some shoot from
:35:09. > :35:16.the hip advice or comment? disappointed I'm afraid because I
:35:17. > :35:22.couldn't find one single thing wrong! Ten out of ten!
:35:22. > :35:31.Ladies and gentlemen, our thanks to Craig, Susanna, Sam, ladies and
:35:31. > :35:35.gentlemen Angela Montgomery. Now, there are plenty of dreamers
:35:35. > :35:40.here in the audience but only one of them has been nominated to have
:35:40. > :35:45.a dream come true tonight. So, it's time for me to track you down. What
:35:45. > :35:51.I need is everybody on the end of each of these aisles to stand up.
:35:51. > :35:55.Everybody up. Everybody up. Up, up, up. OK, Matt, can we have some
:35:55. > :36:03.appropriate music? I need you all to step down here and to do this.
:36:03. > :36:07.Ready, and, arm, and arm, and arm, come on. And arm, and arm, and arm,
:36:07. > :36:13.and arm and point and point and point and point and turn around and
:36:13. > :36:20.turn around. Come on. And then I want you to go down. It's like an
:36:20. > :36:25.outtake from Black Swan, isn't it? OK, you can all sit down. You can
:36:25. > :36:34.all sit down because I'm not cut out to be a dance teacher, unlike
:36:34. > :36:44.you, Karen Yates. Karen. Yeah. Nicola, yes? Yes. You guys, come
:36:44. > :36:44.
:36:44. > :36:48.with me. And the rest of you, take a look at this. Karen is my big
:36:48. > :36:53.sister, six years older than me. Karen's passion for dancing started
:36:53. > :36:58.at a young age. She left school when she was 15 to pursue dancing
:36:58. > :37:04.and it's just been her life ever since. The passion was there. She
:37:04. > :37:08.lived for dancing. In 1988, she had a terrible car crash. When we saw
:37:08. > :37:12.the state of the car that she'd had the accident in, we just wondered
:37:12. > :37:17.how she got out alive. We had to rush up to the hospital. She was in
:37:17. > :37:21.a really bad way. With her dancing being her one true love, I'm sure
:37:21. > :37:26.at times she must have thought it's all come to an end. When the doctor
:37:26. > :37:29.said that she probably wouldn't walk again... She said, I'm not
:37:29. > :37:33.listening to them, I will walk again and yes I will dance again,
:37:33. > :37:38.I'll prove them wrong. Since the accident, she's focused more on her
:37:38. > :37:42.dance school and that's just become her love now and she's so good at
:37:42. > :37:48.it. There are times when she really is poorly but she will go and carry
:37:48. > :37:52.on with teaching. She won't let the pupils down. She just connects to
:37:52. > :37:57.every single one of us. We are her children, we are there for her,
:37:57. > :38:01.she's there for us, works both ways, we are like a big happy family.
:38:02. > :38:07.Karen does a lot of found raising for local and national charities,
:38:07. > :38:11.dance shows, pantomimes, a weekly lottery. She's raised well over
:38:11. > :38:14.40,000. She's an inspiration to everybody, she really is. I want to
:38:14. > :38:18.say thanks for everything, thanks for the past 15 years, for being
:38:18. > :38:25.you. Hope you are having a great night. Enjoy yourself. Have a great
:38:25. > :38:33.night. You deserve this, you really do. Karen, this is your dad. Really
:38:34. > :38:37.enjoy yourself and have the best night of your life!
:38:37. > :38:43.Nicola, Karen's made a huge difference in lot of people's lives,
:38:43. > :38:47.hasn't she? She learn si has, John. She's an inspiration to everybody -
:38:47. > :38:51.- certainly has. She's my hero. She's done so much for charities,
:38:51. > :38:54.for her dance pupils and for her family and friends. She's just the
:38:54. > :39:02.best. Did you have any idea anything like this was going to
:39:02. > :39:06.happen? No, I thought she'd won a competition. I've got dancing exams
:39:06. > :39:10.tomorrow and I said to her, I'd better be back for 6 o'clock
:39:10. > :39:15.tomorrow morning for my dancers. think you will be all right, you
:39:15. > :39:19.will be there for the dancers, don't worry. Karen, because this is
:39:19. > :39:23.your special night, and we wanted something special for you, and I
:39:23. > :39:33.think you are an incredibly brave and special woman and I would like
:39:33. > :39:38.
:39:38. > :39:41.to sing this song, your favourite song for you. Thank you. Clsh
:39:41. > :39:49.Girl when you hold me # How you control me
:39:49. > :39:54.# You bend me and fold me any way you please
:39:54. > :40:01.# It must be easy for you, the loving things that you do
:40:01. > :40:06.# For just a pastime for you # I could never be and I never know
:40:06. > :40:16.girl if I should stay or go # Cos the games that you play keep
:40:16. > :40:19.
:40:20. > :40:24.drieing me away - driving me away # Don't love me for fun girl
:40:24. > :40:28.# Let me be the one girl # Love me for a reason
:40:28. > :40:35.# Let the reason be love # Don't love me for fun girl
:40:35. > :40:45.# Let me be the one girl # Love me for a reason
:40:45. > :40:46.
:40:46. > :40:49.# Let the reason be love ahen, you've taught so many people over
:40:49. > :40:53.the years. Here tonight to celebrate that are some of your
:40:53. > :40:58.students from over the years. Come on over here.
:40:58. > :41:03.# Don't love me for fun girl # Let me be the one girl
:41:03. > :41:07.# Love me for a reason # Let the reason be love
:41:07. > :41:17.# Don't love me for fun girl # Let me be the one girl
:41:17. > :41:21.# Love me for a reason # Let the reason be love
:41:21. > :41:31.# Don't love me for fun girl # Let me be the one girl
:41:31. > :41:35.
:41:35. > :41:45.# Love me for a reason # Let the reason be love... #
:41:45. > :41:50.
:41:50. > :41:53.Thank you so much. You're very welcome. You're an inspiration, not
:41:53. > :41:57.only to everybody here but to everybody watching tonight. What do
:41:57. > :42:01.you have to say to these people who're sneaky but really care about
:42:01. > :42:07.you an awful lot? Oh, I wondered where all my dancers were last
:42:07. > :42:10.night. I got texts saying "I can't come exbeen called into work" and
:42:10. > :42:17.I'm thinking, I'm on my own with new pupil. Are you going to pass
:42:17. > :42:24.them all tomorrow? I will, yes. Ladies and gentlemen, our dance
:42:24. > :42:30.teacher extraordinary Karen Yates. So much more to pack into the show.
:42:30. > :42:33.Here is what is still on the way: West End star Ruthy Henshall is
:42:33. > :42:38.here with a classic from the musical cabaret.
:42:38. > :42:42.And Bevly Knight's back and will have us dancing In The Aisles.
:42:42. > :42:47.Next, I'm surprising a theatre-goer in London's busy West End. We all
:42:47. > :42:51.know a trip to the theatre is no easy feat. Sometimes it's tricky
:42:51. > :42:59.getting a ticket, sometimes it's hard getting a parking spot. But
:42:59. > :43:06.surely getting a drink would be easy, right? Oh...
:43:06. > :43:14.Huh? Not when I'm the usher it isn't.
:43:14. > :43:19.Woah. Roger? Roger, where's the end of the stage? Roger...
:43:19. > :43:23.CRASH I'm on my way to the West End to
:43:23. > :43:28.surprise a very special young woman who dreams of performing on stage.
:43:28. > :43:31.And that's a dream Charlotte Bullen's had since childhood. Her
:43:31. > :43:35.dance teacher and friend Paula is going to tell us more.
:43:35. > :43:39.If Charlie got the chance to perform with a West End star, it
:43:39. > :43:43.would just been everything to her. It's always been her dream. Just
:43:43. > :43:45.over four years ago, everything changed for Charlotte. Her mum Jane
:43:45. > :43:49.remembers how a life-threatening heart condition almost shattered
:43:50. > :43:54.her daughter's West End dreams. This obviously affected her
:43:54. > :43:56.performances, she had to give up dancing and singing and her
:43:56. > :43:59.confidence really, really did suffer.
:43:59. > :44:04.Despite taking time off college for regular treatment, she's kept the
:44:04. > :44:08.childhood dreams alive and has even recorded a CD for charity. Over the
:44:08. > :44:11.years, she's really suffered and kept it all to herself and she's
:44:11. > :44:14.been really brave. But she's also managed to raise thousands of
:44:14. > :44:19.pounds for the local charities and I just think it would be nice for
:44:19. > :44:23.her to have a little surprise back. So that's where I come in. I've
:44:23. > :44:29.arranged for Charlotte's musical dreams to come true by setting up a
:44:29. > :44:34.duet with her idol, West End and Broadway star, Ruthy Henshall.
:44:34. > :44:40.think she'll be absolutely blown away, to be honest. She absolutely
:44:41. > :44:44.adores her. Charlie thinks she's coming to see
:44:44. > :44:49.Chicago. She certainly is coming to see a show, but tonight, she's
:44:49. > :44:53.going to be the star! Show time! The whole theatre has been rigged
:44:53. > :44:56.with our secret cameras, including the VIP box. Charlie's getting pre-
:44:56. > :45:00.show drinks there with her best friend Paula, but of course,
:45:00. > :45:03.Paula's in on the set-up and the hospitality is not what you would
:45:03. > :45:09.expect. Because I'm upstairs being transformed into the man who will
:45:09. > :45:13.Kate tore their every need. Usher extraordinaire. Walter is a
:45:13. > :45:17.frustrated performer who could have been a big star if only he'd had
:45:17. > :45:19.the breaks. Well, it looks like he's broken
:45:19. > :45:23.something. The girls are called up to their
:45:23. > :45:27.VIP box, and with mum watching backstage, they are about to
:45:28. > :45:35.experience Walter's unique pre-show hospitality. Excuse me a minute,
:45:35. > :45:41.just going to ps oop, terribly sorry. I will get in a lot of
:45:41. > :45:45.trouble for that. A little bit of... Sorry, that was orange. Oh dear!
:45:45. > :45:52.I need another glass! And they need another usher. But
:45:52. > :45:56.once Walter's popped, just can't stopment
:45:56. > :46:02.Oops. Sorry. I just thought, Thwaiteer's being really strange, I
:46:02. > :46:06.was saying to Paula, what's he doing, but honestly, I didn't have
:46:06. > :46:11.any idea at all. I've actually opened an ice-cream and I'm not
:46:11. > :46:14.supposed to unless you wanted one. Terrible, isn't it? Don't tell
:46:14. > :46:20.anyone, I'm having a nice time talking to you, but don't worry,
:46:20. > :46:27.I'm just going to... Mint chocolate chip, absolutely wonderful. What's
:46:27. > :46:31.your favourite song from the show? Are you a naughty girl? Cell block
:46:31. > :46:35.tango. You are a naughty one, yes you are. This is only the first act
:46:35. > :46:37.of the surprise. Curtain down on Walter and curtain up on me. Listen,
:46:37. > :46:41.darling, back after the show's started to make sure everything's
:46:41. > :46:44.all right, you've got your champagne and remember, you have a
:46:44. > :46:49.wonderful show, but they are not going to be the only ones in the
:46:49. > :46:55.spotlight, my dear, because I'm John Barrowman from BBC One
:46:55. > :47:01.Eastonite's the night and I am here to make your dream come true.
:47:01. > :47:07.Stand up. Yay. Oh, my God. Overwhelmed really,
:47:07. > :47:10.absolutely in shock at the moment. Needs to sink in. Would you please
:47:10. > :47:19.come with me to the Tonight's The Night studio, where you are going
:47:19. > :47:23.to perform in front of the nation... Sure... Are you sure? Totally
:47:24. > :47:31.serious. Take a breath. You would? Yes. Would you sing with somebody
:47:31. > :47:37.else? Yes. Would you sing with Ruthy Henshall? No way! Yes way.
:47:37. > :47:40.Oh... Yes. OK? Brilliant. Oh, my God, I
:47:40. > :47:46.was trying to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming ofrpbt. It's
:47:47. > :47:51.amazing honestly, I can't wait to sing with her. Charlie rehearses
:47:51. > :48:01.her song. Maybe this time from cabaret. And a surprise Eaves
:48:01. > :48:03.
:48:03. > :48:09.dropper is outside. Her duet Are you Charlotte. I was listening,
:48:09. > :48:15.it is incredible. She has a beautiful innocent quality to her
:48:15. > :48:24.voice. She seemed overwhelmed at first and then you could hear it
:48:24. > :48:30.just blossoming. Ruthy's voice is what I want to be lake. It is
:48:30. > :48:35.amazing to be able to sing like her. I think she will coal really well
:48:35. > :48:39.on the big stage. It is one of those things if you have that in
:48:39. > :48:47.your blood, as soon as the lights hit, it happens, you know and I
:48:47. > :48:57.think she will just come out fighting. # Maybe this time I'll
:48:57. > :49:04.
:49:04. > :49:08.win! So mum, Charlotte has always wanted to perform with Ruthie
:49:08. > :49:13.Henshall. This one the -- must be the biggest moment in her life.
:49:13. > :49:17.she is really looking forward to it. Has her heart condition held her
:49:17. > :49:22.back? Yes it has. She has been performing since she was about 10
:49:22. > :49:29.and it has held her back two or three years. She is now coming out
:49:29. > :49:36.of it. It is wonderful to see. how is it going to be to see your
:49:36. > :49:41.youngest up there. Fantastic. Like the lottery, better than winning
:49:41. > :49:45.the lottery. Money can't buy these moments. Well, take your seats, for
:49:46. > :49:55.a return to the West End, with Ruthie Henshall and a classic from
:49:56. > :49:56.
:49:56. > :50:04.the show Cabaret. Charlotte, Tonight's The Night. # Maybe this
:50:04. > :50:11.time I'll be lucky. # Maybe this time he'll stay.
:50:11. > :50:21.# Maybe this time for the first time.
:50:21. > :50:22.
:50:22. > :50:32.# Love won't hurry away. # He will hold me fast.
:50:32. > :50:34.
:50:34. > :50:44.# I'll be home at last. Ladies and gentlemen, please
:50:44. > :50:57.
:50:57. > :51:07.welcome the incredible Charlotte! Something's bound to begin. It's
:51:07. > :51:11.
:51:11. > :51:20.going to happen. # Happen some time # Maybe this time I'll win #
:51:20. > :51:29.Everybodys loves a winner. So nobody loved me. # Lady peaceful.
:51:29. > :51:34.# Lady happy. # That's what I long to be.
:51:35. > :51:43.# Well, all the odds are, they're in my favour.
:51:43. > :51:53.# Something's bound to begin. # It's gotta happen.
