:00:10. > :00:15.It is Friday! Remember Aidan Turner causing a stir when he got his

:00:16. > :00:20.scythe out in Poldark? Well, today we are joined by an actor who has

:00:21. > :00:25.had his own Poldark moment. Nikesh Patel made many a heart flutter last

:00:26. > :00:28.weekend. He will be here with the brilliant Aysha Kala to talk about

:00:29. > :00:39.one of the hottest shows on TV, Indian Summers.

:00:40. > :00:47.Hello and welcome! Coming up, one of the biggest TV events of the year,

:00:48. > :00:50.Sport Relief is on tonight, so the sporty Louise Hazel has gone to meet

:00:51. > :00:55.the athletes warming up for the toughest event of the night, Clash

:00:56. > :01:00.of the Titans. Susan Calman is going through the keyhole of some of TV's

:01:01. > :01:06.best-known properties. Plus, it's Friday, so there will be another TV

:01:07. > :01:12.quiz. This one beat me last week, so I am ready for revenge should. And

:01:13. > :01:18.in a couple of moments, we will be talking to Nikesh and Aysha from

:01:19. > :01:21.Indian Summers. First, remember The Cook Report? TV investigator Roger

:01:22. > :01:25.Cook is reported to be returning to the BBC for the first time in ten

:01:26. > :01:33.years to investigate a new case. So if you are involved in any dodgy

:01:34. > :01:39.dealing, watch out, because he might be bashing down your door. Not such

:01:40. > :01:44.good news now. National treasure Stephen Fry is heading to America!

:01:45. > :01:48.But it is not all bad, hopefully he will not be gone forever. He is

:01:49. > :01:52.filming a new comedy show called The Great Indoors, about the offices of

:01:53. > :01:57.a US travel magazine. Come back soon. Don't fret. Fry might be off,

:01:58. > :02:03.but we could be getting James Corden back. I adore him. He moved to the

:02:04. > :02:06.US last year to host The Late Late Show, but has admitted this week

:02:07. > :02:14.that he would love to bring back Gavin And Stacey for a special

:02:15. > :02:19.episode. I would love to see that. That is well lush. I think we should

:02:20. > :02:24.meet our first guests. Channel 4's period drama Indian Summers returned

:02:25. > :02:29.to our screens last weekend. That in the 1930s, it concerns a group of

:02:30. > :02:33.socialites living in India under British rule. Nikesh Patel and Aysha

:02:34. > :02:39.Kala star as brother and sister Aafrin and Sooni. It looks

:02:40. > :02:48.fantastic. Watch this. Time to light the fuse. Are you ready? Where is

:02:49. > :02:56.it? You are my friend. Save me, as I once saved you. You lie! You see

:02:57. > :03:01.enemies everywhere. You make threats against my family. You have no

:03:02. > :03:06.reason to be afraid. Please welcome stars of the incredible show, Nikesh

:03:07. > :03:18.Patel and Aysha Kala! How are you? Thanks for joining us. Look how

:03:19. > :03:20.beautiful they are. Nice to see you not looking nervous. Indian Summers

:03:21. > :03:27.is back for a second series. Tell us about it. Well, it is set in India

:03:28. > :03:31.in the 1930s and it follows the British Raj. But it also follows the

:03:32. > :03:38.Indians and what they were going through at that time. Season two

:03:39. > :03:42.picks up in 1935, three years on, so the political tension is really

:03:43. > :03:44.rising and everyone is really tense. Hopefully, we will show what

:03:45. > :03:51.happened all the way up to partition. Things have changed a lot

:03:52. > :03:59.for your character. They have. The first series was set in 1932, so in

:04:00. > :04:03.1935, Aafrin has gone from being this aspiring clerk in the civil

:04:04. > :04:08.service. He has been posted out in Bangor and met some people who have

:04:09. > :04:11.made him question his place in the Empire -- in Bangor. Those people

:04:12. > :04:17.think independence has to be won by non-peaceful means, so he is caught

:04:18. > :04:22.up in that and has become a kind of double agent, working for the

:04:23. > :04:28.British and for these other guys. Last week, we saw you turning

:04:29. > :04:33.against your bosses. That's right, he has become a man on the inside.

:04:34. > :04:38.And I think a lot of the conflict for Aafrin in series two will be

:04:39. > :04:48.where his loyalties are and how much he is prepared to push for that. I

:04:49. > :04:51.just like a happy life. Do this. It is lovely when everything is the

:04:52. > :04:58.same. But that does not make for good drama! We love drama. You two

:04:59. > :05:01.play brother and sister on the show. It is such a convincing

:05:02. > :05:08.relationship. Here are the two view from last week's episode. Can you

:05:09. > :05:18.keep a secret? Depends what it is. In everything I do, I am your

:05:19. > :05:39.brother. And always will be. What does that mean? It means I missed

:05:40. > :05:43.you, too. I should think so! Aafrin! You have a great on-screen

:05:44. > :05:49.chemistry. You close off camera as well? People keep telling us that we

:05:50. > :05:56.bicker like brother and sister. We are used to each other now. I think

:05:57. > :06:04.you were enjoying that bit. She hated it. This is a huge thing for

:06:05. > :06:07.you as well. We have seen you in Shameless, but slightly different.

:06:08. > :06:12.Slightly. There are some Americans. They are both fierce women, not to

:06:13. > :06:17.be messed with. -- some similarities. But Sooni is more

:06:18. > :06:21.innocent than Sita was in Shameless. And I know you had a wobbly knee

:06:22. > :06:25.moment when you met Julie Walters? I did. She is a legend. We didn't have

:06:26. > :06:34.much face-to-face time in the first series. This was my first scene with

:06:35. > :06:46.her. I was thinking, I have to tell my mum I am squaring up against Mrs

:06:47. > :06:53.weaselly! Also, one of our cast to me about her amazing comedy. Two

:06:54. > :06:59.soups, I had not seen it. So I went home and watched it. Did she know

:07:00. > :07:06.you were watching clips of her? I hope not. She caught us muttering.

:07:07. > :07:11.Has this been as much fun as the first series to film? It has been so

:07:12. > :07:18.much fun. We all get on well and we were away in Malaysia for six

:07:19. > :07:21.months. The job is a dream. And in terms of setting the bar, I think

:07:22. > :07:27.they have set it even higher for where the series goes. You said you

:07:28. > :07:31.filmed in Malaysia. Why not India? Well, all these amazing houses are

:07:32. > :07:37.in Malaysia. They looked in India, but a lot of stuff was not there any

:07:38. > :07:44.more. How long did you spend in Malaysia? Six months. Hard life!

:07:45. > :07:51.Believe it or not, by the end of it, I was missing prize and gravy. I am

:07:52. > :07:58.not missing the weather so much now. So it didn't feel like a holiday? It

:07:59. > :08:05.did for me! I think after a while, and also, wearing suits in 80%

:08:06. > :08:12.humidity... We are not feeling sorry for you at all. You were not always

:08:13. > :08:18.wearing suits. You had a special moment here. Here you are, looking

:08:19. > :08:24.wonderful. Are you getting more attention because of this? There has

:08:25. > :08:29.been a bit of attention. Hey, when you are offered a moment not to wear

:08:30. > :08:35.a suit, you grab it. So they didn't have to persuade you? Well, the

:08:36. > :08:42.point with the scene is that it is three years on. He was more innocent

:08:43. > :08:47.in series one, and he has kind of grown-up and yeah, it sort of makes

:08:48. > :08:53.sense that he is less recognisable. Please tell me you work out hard for

:08:54. > :09:01.that. He looks great, it is really annoying! It is not on. We have a

:09:02. > :09:06.clip here from this Sunday's episode. Tell us what your character

:09:07. > :09:10.is up to. In last week's episode, Aafrin got close to being found out

:09:11. > :09:14.for his involvement in this pamphlet which was sent out after an attempt

:09:15. > :09:18.on the Viceroy's life. And at the last minute, he was not given up and

:09:19. > :09:22.he was trying to figure out why, when all the evidence pointed

:09:23. > :09:25.towards him. And he gets a bit closer to one of his conspirators,

:09:26. > :09:33.who is also his lover, as we see here.

:09:34. > :09:41.It is a transcript of a conversation we learn had with a spy. Could be

:09:42. > :09:46.anyone. I was seen. I was seen by the printer, and I was given up. And

:09:47. > :09:54.then this in form and character says, no. The person you want is

:09:55. > :10:06.Banerjee. To spare me. And who would do that? Hmm? Who in the world but

:10:07. > :10:09.you? Lots of drama. Sooni, what is coming up for you in this series? In

:10:10. > :10:14.the last series, she was quite intense, and this year she has a bit

:10:15. > :10:18.of light relief going on. She has three men after her. So she has to

:10:19. > :10:24.make a decision. And she might get a little kiss, maybe. From one of the

:10:25. > :10:30.men. You are not allowed to go unless you give us some gossip that

:10:31. > :10:34.no one else knows from the show. OK, I will get in trouble if I give away

:10:35. > :10:38.too much, but there is a really juicy scene in episode four with

:10:39. > :10:45.Julie's character. If you think you have been shocked by Cynthia or any

:10:46. > :10:48.of the events so far, she tops it. And I think people will know exactly

:10:49. > :10:55.what it is when they watch. They will be like, wow. Is she? And you

:10:56. > :11:02.get your shirt off in episodes three, four... Or is this as good as

:11:03. > :11:07.it gets. Highly recommended. Sunday night, nine o'clock, Channel 4.

:11:08. > :11:13.Let's hear it for Nikesh and Aysha! Thank you. Now, Sport Relief is back

:11:14. > :11:18.tonight on BBC One and two, and it is hosted by an array of famous

:11:19. > :11:21.faces. One of the highlights will be the Clash of the Titans challenge,

:11:22. > :11:24.where Steve Redgrave and Freddie Flintoff captain two teams of

:11:25. > :11:25.celebrities and take on a variety of sports. By the of it, things could

:11:26. > :11:39.get competitive. I have been promoted to captain. I

:11:40. > :11:43.want to show I can captain a team successfully. Sir Steve Redgrave,

:11:44. > :11:48.how come you wrote for all those years? Just splashing about, isn't

:11:49. > :11:51.it? I am a five times Olympic gold medallist. Once a sportsman, always

:11:52. > :12:11.a sportsman. noise on this one, because they are

:12:12. > :12:15.right in the thick of rehearsals. It is Sport Relief day, and I am here

:12:16. > :12:21.at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Tonight, 19 celebrities and athletes

:12:22. > :12:33.take on various tasks and each other for Clash of the Titans. Hi, guys.

:12:34. > :12:41.Excited? Well, excitement and nerves. I woke up feeling anxious

:12:42. > :12:46.this morning. I think it is a case of wanting to start and get it done.

:12:47. > :12:50.What sports are you doing? I am doing the cycling and wrestling. Me

:12:51. > :12:54.being 15 years older, I can only do one event, so I am going to do

:12:55. > :13:00.rhythmic gymnastics, which I did at school many years ago. Who are you

:13:01. > :13:04.up against? Paddy McGuinness in wrestling. He is a bed glad.

:13:05. > :13:09.Everyone I say that two is like, ooh! I am more concerned about that

:13:10. > :13:13.than the cycling. What have you been doing to prepare? Paddy has been

:13:14. > :13:22.letting me know what he has been up to. I am following a strict

:13:23. > :13:27.nutritional plan. Protein shake versus pasty bake is how I see it. I

:13:28. > :13:31.am old school, we don't do protein shakes. I would say you have the

:13:32. > :13:38.competitive edge. Saying that, you must have met Steve Redgrave before.

:13:39. > :13:43.He is the most competitive man I ever met. He is intimidating. I did

:13:44. > :13:46.a training session with him a few days ago and he is so competitive. I

:13:47. > :13:52.would not pay too much attention to it. You have the advantage. You have

:13:53. > :13:58.done the protein shakes. It is about just going out and smashing it. I am

:13:59. > :14:04.right up for this. You haven't got long, guys. Look forward to seeing

:14:05. > :14:17.you in action. Good luck! Let's do it. Guys, thanks for joining me. Are

:14:18. > :14:23.you excited for tonight? Yeah. I can't say the word excited, I am so

:14:24. > :14:29.excited. And a bit scared. Really? Yes, a bit nervous. Looking forward

:14:30. > :14:34.to it, actually. Now I have been here for a while, I am getting used

:14:35. > :14:39.to it. You are holding onto your rhythmic ribbon. Presumably, you are

:14:40. > :14:45.doing rhythmic gymnastics? Correct. And my mantra is letting the ribbon

:14:46. > :14:50.live. What are you doing? I am doing the cycling elimination race. Who

:14:51. > :14:55.are you up against? It is me, Steve Redgrave and Dan Snow, versus

:14:56. > :15:04.Freddie Flintoff, Harry Judd and Mark Wright. Ooh! It is tough. I

:15:05. > :15:10.worked out the combined ages of each team. As a three, we are over 50

:15:11. > :15:16.years older than they are! But that is 50 years of experience. For one

:15:17. > :15:22.night only, you guys are Team GB. What can our viewers expect tonight?

:15:23. > :15:30.Only the best. Better than the Olympics? It is not for me to say,

:15:31. > :15:34.but... I don't know. It is going to be exciting in a completely

:15:35. > :15:39.different way. Last time round, ?51 million raised for Sport Relief. Are

:15:40. > :15:51.you going to be that? Oh, yes. Definitely! I love the fact that

:15:52. > :15:53.Will Young will be doing some synchronised swimming.

:15:54. > :15:56.You can see those guys in action on Sport Relief,

:15:57. > :16:00.Now you may have seen in the news this week that the hotel

:16:01. > :16:03.that was the inspiration for Fawlty Towers has been

:16:04. > :16:06.Fans of comedy and bad hotels are distraught,

:16:07. > :16:10.none more so than the wonderful Susan Calman, welcome Susan!

:16:11. > :16:30.Still not had the call. I am obsessed with property shows. I

:16:31. > :16:35.thought I would talk you through and reveal how much they are worth.

:16:36. > :16:37.Let's start on the most famous street in Britain:

:16:38. > :16:47.There are actually 82 real Coronation Streets in Britain

:16:48. > :16:53.They moved the whole production across the city and rebuilt

:16:54. > :16:56.Let's focus on Tyrone Dobb's house, Number 9 Coronation Street.

:16:57. > :17:04.This house used to belong to Vera and Jack Duckworth.

:17:05. > :17:11.It is a way of making your home stand out.

:17:12. > :17:14.If you wanted to buy a terraced house in an identical

:17:15. > :17:16.street in a similar part of Greater Manchester,

:17:17. > :17:34.I do not know if that includes the cladding.

:17:35. > :17:38.Now if you wanted to buy an actual house that you've seen

:17:39. > :17:42.on the telly, how about doing what this guy has done.

:17:43. > :17:48.His name is Andrew Witney, he lives in Britain

:17:49. > :17:51.but he was born in Melbourne, which might explain why he's trying

:17:52. > :17:54.to buy up houses from his favourite soap

:17:55. > :18:07.There are only six houses on the street but Andrew already

:18:08. > :18:19.That is him standing outside the house.

:18:20. > :18:24.More recently he bought this property, also known

:18:25. > :18:27.as 30 Ramsey Street, also known

:18:28. > :18:41.Which apparently is above average for a home in Melbourne.

:18:42. > :18:50.Would you like to buy a house in Ramsay Street? Is he really trying

:18:51. > :19:03.to buy the whole street? I think so, he loves it.

:19:04. > :19:07.to Friends and take a look at Monica Gellar's Manhattan

:19:08. > :19:24.If that falls off the truck, it would not have been the worst thing.

:19:25. > :19:35.Wow! I know. It seems smaller somehow. Has it always been purple?

:19:36. > :19:40.) I cried through this whole episode. You can see there is a leak

:19:41. > :19:54.floor space. -- a big floor space. Some clever chaps on the internet

:19:55. > :19:57.have sketched out the floor plan of these apartments,

:19:58. > :20:01.so we can see what it would be like if we ever

:20:02. > :20:04.wanted to live there. But if we did ever want to live

:20:05. > :20:12.there, what would it cost? Staying with the rental

:20:13. > :20:22.market for a moment. If you've been watching

:20:23. > :20:24.The Night Manager and fancy staying in Jonathan Pine's Devon coastal

:20:25. > :20:26.cottage then that'll cost If that's not your style and you'd

:20:27. > :20:39.rather stay somewhere a bit more swish how about

:20:40. > :20:41.Richard Roper's Mallorcan lair? This 17th century fort

:20:42. > :20:43.has a tennis court, two pools, and seven individual

:20:44. > :20:45.villas in 25,000 square foot of immaculately manicured

:20:46. > :20:47.terraces and gardens. It's called La Fortaleza,

:20:48. > :20:50.is apparently Spain's most expensive property and was sold

:20:51. > :21:05.in 2011 for ?35 million. Flat 127, Nelson Mandela House,

:21:06. > :21:09.Peckham, South London. This is the original exterior

:21:10. > :21:11.of where the Trotters lived But a three-bedroom Peckham flat

:21:12. > :21:22.like the one the Trotters lived in would set you back

:21:23. > :21:33.now about ?330,000. I quite fancy a holiday

:21:34. > :21:37.home on Ramsey Street! Will you help us settle

:21:38. > :21:40.a score now in this In homage to Sport

:21:41. > :21:46.Relief, it's our own You just about beat me last week,

:21:47. > :22:12.but what you don't know, Once again you'll face questions

:22:13. > :22:18.all about this week's telly and once again the loser

:22:19. > :22:20.will be confronted with an embarrassing clip

:22:21. > :22:22.from their past. It's hard to pick just

:22:23. > :22:25.one for you, isn't it, Last week, you had darts, this week,

:22:26. > :22:31.it's the TMTV Sport Relief You saw them earlier,

:22:32. > :22:37.now some of Team Flintoff and Team Redgrave are back with

:22:38. > :22:39.questions on the week's TV. If you answer correctly,

:22:40. > :23:17.you score a point. Yes, I am. Who is the maitre d'? It

:23:18. > :23:24.is Fred. On Monday in EastEnders, Jack had a steamy shower scene. He

:23:25. > :23:35.was it with? I cannot remember. Incorrect answer. It was Ronnie

:23:36. > :23:45.Mitchell. Complete the TV title. Inside the Bama's what? House. White

:23:46. > :23:52.House. You have to take the first answer. I'd do not need to take the

:23:53. > :24:00.first answer. She got there. I do not know why I bothered turning up.

:24:01. > :24:11.I will have Harry next. What is the name of the Jim Hunter in the

:24:12. > :24:18.documentary Mine Kings? I cannot remember. For the dancing, one

:24:19. > :24:23.point. In aid of Sport Relief, Jo Brand bought from the Humber Bridge

:24:24. > :24:36.in Yorkshire to wear this week? -- walks. Liverpool. Kate, please. What

:24:37. > :24:48.was the name of the winner of Best in show in crafts this year? --

:24:49. > :25:33.Crufts. It was actually Geordie Girl. Surprisingly, tonight, the

:25:34. > :25:35.Now, it's time for the biggest decision of the day.

:25:36. > :25:43.Something you might want to catch is on Channel 4 at

:25:44. > :25:47.This is another wacky show from Heston Blumenthal.

:25:48. > :25:50.He's done giant food, snail porridge and now he's

:25:51. > :25:55.Before British astronaut Tim Peake shot up to

:25:56. > :25:58.the International Space Station, Heston created some meals

:25:59. > :26:18.into the mindset of an astronaut by experiencing zero gravity.

:26:19. > :26:32.I have always wanted to do that. He cooked salmon, sausages and a cup of

:26:33. > :26:39.tea to take into space. That's Heston's Dinner

:26:40. > :26:41.in Space, Sunday, 6 o'clock On Saturday, at 8pm on

:26:42. > :26:45.More Four is the new series, Coastal

:26:46. > :26:47.Walks With My Dog. It has celebrities

:26:48. > :26:50.going on walks with their dogs, which sounds

:26:51. > :26:53.so simple but it's really Tonight's show has Bill Bailey

:26:54. > :26:57.with his dog, Louie, Cerys Matthews with her dog, Smot,

:26:58. > :26:59.and here is Debra Stephenson with her gorgeous chocolate

:27:00. > :27:11.labrador, Biscuit. Total door is a knockout view from

:27:12. > :27:21.the clifftop. A brilliant beach for Biscuit to play on. Come on! Come

:27:22. > :27:23.on, Biscuit! A chance for Biscuit to doggy paddle her way to dropping a
