0:00:57 > 0:01:01- Bois Y Loris, a club for lorry - drivers, started in 2002 or 2003.

0:01:01 > 0:01:06- Many lorry drivers would get in - touch during our nightly broadcast.

0:01:06 > 0:01:09- They would phone in with requests.

0:01:09 > 0:01:13- Gradually, we started to give - the drivers more airtime.

0:01:13 > 0:01:16- This was before the club, - Bois Y Loris, existed.

0:01:16 > 0:01:18- They were individual drivers.

0:01:19 > 0:01:21- Each one was given a number...

0:01:21 > 0:01:25- ..then we picked a number out - of a hat and they won a prize.

0:01:25 > 0:01:29- The prize was a Geraint Lloyd mug - or umbrella back then.

0:01:29 > 0:01:33- We then decided to make Bois Y Loris - a regular feature.

0:01:33 > 0:01:36- Every Thursday night, - drivers got in touch with us.

0:01:37 > 0:01:41- We'd ask them where they were going - and what they were carrying.

0:01:41 > 0:01:43- Each one had a different load.

0:01:44 > 0:01:47- We'd chat with the members - every Thursday night...

0:01:48 > 0:01:51- ..and soon it turned - into Bois Y Loris night.

0:01:51 > 0:01:56- Some of the drivers - wanted to keep their numbers.

0:01:56 > 0:02:00- Gareth Werna was number 10, - Jack Vaughan was number 25...

0:02:02 > 0:02:04- All of a sudden we had a club...

0:02:04 > 0:02:07- ..that was growing - from week to week.

0:02:07 > 0:02:10- In next to no time, - we had hundreds of members.

0:02:11 > 0:02:13- There are now over 350 members.

0:02:22 > 0:02:24- Driving a lorry is lonely work.

0:02:24 > 0:02:28- A lot of these drivers - jump in the lorry on a Monday...

0:02:29 > 0:02:32- ..and maybe - don't come home until Friday.

0:02:32 > 0:02:35- They sleep in the lorry. - It's their way of life.

0:02:39 > 0:02:43- I don't know how many of them - get homesick...

0:03:42 > 0:03:46- I go as far as Cardigan, - Llandovery and Llandeilo.

0:03:55 > 0:03:59- I left school at 15 years of age - and worked on the family farm.

0:04:26 > 0:04:31- Friesian cattle grazing in - springtime is a sight to behold.

0:04:54 > 0:04:58- Driving can be tricky in places - such as New Quay and Llangrannog...

0:04:59 > 0:05:03- ..early in the morning, - where the streets are very narrow.

0:05:07 > 0:05:13- ..when there are lots of tourists - and people parking everywhere.

0:10:20 > 0:10:23- There are lorry drivers - in every country.

0:10:24 > 0:10:26- They are a community in themselves.

0:10:27 > 0:10:31- They know what life is like in - the lorry and what the job entails.

0:10:32 > 0:10:36- Television series have been made - about all kinds of lorries.

0:10:36 > 0:10:40- But what's unique - about our club here in Wales...

0:10:40 > 0:10:44- ..is the fact - that they come from rural Wales.

0:10:44 > 0:10:47- The men are also very patriotic.

0:10:51 > 0:10:54- ..to England or wherever, - there's nothing better...

0:10:54 > 0:11:00- ..than seeing a lorry on the M25 - motorway with a Welsh flag flying...

0:22:04 > 0:22:09- I've put both their names - on the lorry to keep them happy.
