0:06:16 > 0:06:19- So I stayed in Cardiff for 12 years.

0:06:20 > 0:06:24- I'd come here, especially in summer, - and have a glass of rose...

0:06:28 > 0:06:32- I spent many a late night in - the Bay. I've got great memories.

0:06:35 > 0:06:38- I worked for a TV company - for quite a while.

0:06:39 > 0:06:41- I was 21 at the time.

0:06:43 > 0:06:48- An important man, who'd played - Phantom in Phantom of the Opera...

0:06:58 > 0:07:02- I wasn't earning very much at the - time, so I took him to McDonald's.

0:07:03 > 0:07:08- I think that was the final nail - in the coffin, as it were...

0:07:08 > 0:07:12- ..because afterwards, - they said, "You're a poor runner.

0:07:12 > 0:07:14- "Maybe you should try presenting."

0:07:16 > 0:07:22- I presented a show called La Bamba, - filmed on a beach in Magaluf.

0:07:22 > 0:07:25- I spent a month there - with 60 others.

0:07:25 > 0:07:28- Then I got into children's TV - and did that for 10 years.

0:07:29 > 0:07:31- During those 10 years...

0:07:32 > 0:07:35- ..I worked - on a music series called Popty...

0:07:36 > 0:07:39- ..13'30" Munud o Enwogrwydd. - (Minutes of Fame)...

0:07:40 > 0:07:43- ..a travel show - with Aled Sam called Tocyn...

0:07:43 > 0:07:46- ..a programme - about extreme sports called Chwa!

0:07:47 > 0:07:52- Then there was Salon and Retro, - but the one I enjoyed the most...

0:07:54 > 0:07:57- I presented that show for 10 years.

0:07:57 > 0:08:00- I loved meeting the families - and the children.

0:08:01 > 0:08:04- I spent three days with them. - The programme worked well.

0:09:30 > 0:09:34- I was adamant - I was getting married in Wales.

0:09:34 > 0:09:37- We looked at - several places in West Wales...

0:09:37 > 0:09:40- ..and after searching for a while...

0:09:40 > 0:09:44- ..my sister suggested - we come and see the castle.

0:09:44 > 0:09:47- Straightaway, - I thought, yes, of course!

0:09:47 > 0:09:49- This is the ideal place.

0:09:49 > 0:09:52- It was convenient - for guests from New Zealand...

0:09:53 > 0:09:57- ..in terms of flying to London - and driving down the M4 to here.

0:09:57 > 0:10:00- It was easy for my parents to reach. - It was central.

0:10:01 > 0:10:05- Since I'd lived in Cardiff all those - years, the castle was the answer.

0:10:12 > 0:10:14- The last time I was here...

0:10:14 > 0:10:18- ..Dad and I were perspiring - profusely behind that door.

0:10:18 > 0:10:22- We knew all our family and friends - were in this room.

0:10:22 > 0:10:25- This is where - our wedding ceremony was held.

0:10:25 > 0:10:28- Charlie at the bottom, looking pale!

0:10:31 > 0:10:35- It's odd seeing it like this - without the decorations, candles...

0:10:36 > 0:10:38- ..and all the plants.

0:10:38 > 0:10:40- It looked fantastic.

0:10:40 > 0:10:43- The ceremony was - the best part of the day for me.

0:10:44 > 0:10:46- It meant more than I expected.

0:10:52 > 0:10:56- ..because there were - a few things we needed to sort out.

0:11:08 > 0:11:12- ..and he promised to take no longer - than five minutes in the shower.

0:11:13 > 0:11:17- I had to promise - that I'd go camping with him...

0:11:17 > 0:11:21- ..and enjoy being outdoors...

0:11:21 > 0:11:24- ..in the open air - and be at one with nature.

0:11:24 > 0:11:28- We haven't done much of that - but he showers quicker!

0:11:36 > 0:11:41- It was here that our guests - enjoyed drinks and canapes...

0:11:41 > 0:11:45- ..while we were - having photographs taken in there.

0:11:45 > 0:11:47- We were starving - by the time we had food.

0:11:53 > 0:11:57- We agreed to have a Hello! - photographer take our photos.

0:11:57 > 0:12:01- I didn't want to initially, - but after some persuasion, I agreed.

0:12:01 > 0:12:04- They said it'd only be three pages.

0:12:05 > 0:12:08- We opened the magazine - after the wedding...

0:12:08 > 0:12:10- ..and we kept turning the pages.

0:12:10 > 0:12:13- It was 15 pages long, if not 18!

0:12:13 > 0:12:17- We haven't had time to look - at the photos, which is a good job!

0:12:18 > 0:12:21- Everyone says - it's the best day of your life...

0:12:21 > 0:12:23- ..but it was more than that.

0:12:33 > 0:12:35- Though I've moved away...

0:12:35 > 0:12:39- ..Cardiff is always - going to be important to me.

0:14:54 > 0:14:57- ..to achieve the things - that sometimes seem impossible.

0:15:20 > 0:15:25- On the one hand, I think family is - more important than anything else.
