0:07:29 > 0:07:33- ..knowing that the race position - isn't important...

0:07:33 > 0:07:35- ..but it's about doing your best.

0:08:28 > 0:08:31- There's very little time left - for me to train.

0:08:32 > 0:08:37- Most of my training is spent pushing - the pram so I'm feeling stronger.

0:08:40 > 0:08:42- I'm really happy...

0:08:42 > 0:08:47- ..to have been able to run 32 miles - relatively comfortably.

0:08:57 > 0:08:58- I felt sick.

0:08:59 > 0:09:05- My body had gone into a massive - state of shock after finishing it...

0:09:05 > 0:09:10- ..because I hadn't run as quickly - or as far in two years.

0:09:16 > 0:09:20- My next biggest challenge - was something very foreign to me...

0:09:21 > 0:09:23- ..which was running in a team.

0:09:24 > 0:09:28- If I'm honest, I'm the sort of - person who enjoys running on my own.

0:09:28 > 0:09:31- It allows the soul to rest.

0:09:31 > 0:09:35- But this time, - I joined four other women.

0:09:35 > 0:09:39- Two of us were runners...

0:09:39 > 0:09:42- ..and the other three were sailors.

0:09:42 > 0:09:47- The challenge was - to sail from Barmouth to Snowdon.

0:09:47 > 0:09:52- Jo and I would run to the summit - of Snowdon and back...

0:09:52 > 0:09:54- ..which was 25 miles.

0:09:55 > 0:09:59- Next, we'd sail to Whitehaven - and cycle and run 40 miles...

0:09:59 > 0:10:03- ..before finishing the journey - at Fort William...

0:10:03 > 0:10:06- ..and run 20 miles - to the summit of Ben Nevis.

0:10:15 > 0:10:19- I enjoyed the experience - more than I expected...

0:10:24 > 0:10:28- We all shared the same mentality...

0:10:28 > 0:10:31- ..and worked so well together.

0:10:32 > 0:10:34- That was the secret to our success.

0:10:37 > 0:10:42- I think that I coped well - with the summits...

0:10:42 > 0:10:45- ..and felt strong - throughout the race.

0:10:45 > 0:10:51- I returned to Wales - with a massive smile on my face.

0:10:56 > 0:11:01- But why have millions upon millions - of us started running?

0:11:01 > 0:11:05- It's a question that gives you - a host of various answers...

0:11:06 > 0:11:08- ..from different runners.

0:11:09 > 0:11:11- Some want to be the fastest.

0:11:11 > 0:11:15- Others want to better themselves, - to inspire or help a cause.

0:11:15 > 0:11:19- There's people like me - who challenge the elements.

0:11:19 > 0:11:24- We take the mind and body to places - they have never been before.

0:11:29 > 0:11:31- It's an incredible feeling.

0:11:31 > 0:11:34- It was hard work but I've done it.

0:11:35 > 0:11:37- I couldn't have given any more.

0:11:38 > 0:11:42- There's 175 miles to go...

0:11:42 > 0:11:45- ..and my feet are in pieces.

0:11:45 > 0:11:51- Running, no matter the distance, - is a roller coaster of emotions.

0:11:51 > 0:11:56- With every low, there's - always an incredible high!

0:12:10 > 0:12:15- One of the reasons - that people take up running...

0:12:18 > 0:12:20- I'm very passionate about that.

0:12:20 > 0:12:25- It's important that I use - the fact that I can run...

0:12:25 > 0:12:28- ..to help those - less fortunate than me.

0:12:28 > 0:12:33- I was invited to join - Steven, Phil and Alan...

0:12:43 > 0:12:44- Go on!

0:12:53 > 0:12:58- Running 100 miles - is an incredible way to train.

0:12:58 > 0:13:03- You go through so many highs - and lows in a long period of time.

0:13:04 > 0:13:09- It teaches you to cope - with those mental pains...

0:13:09 > 0:13:14- ..and the little voices in your head - that are telling you to stop.

0:13:14 > 0:13:17- Oh, I'm trying to stay positive.

0:13:18 > 0:13:21- I'm feeling fine, I'm feeling fine.

0:14:03 > 0:14:05- ..for my training...

0:14:14 > 0:14:19- Staying on my feet for 30 hours - was a real confidence booster.

0:14:21 > 0:14:22- The saying goes...

0:15:25 > 0:15:26- It's possible.

0:15:36 > 0:15:40- Viewing some of the climbs - will settle the nerves...

0:15:40 > 0:15:43- ..whilst other climbs - could make me more unsettled.

0:15:47 > 0:15:50- ..that are awkward - and challenging...

0:15:50 > 0:15:53- ..is very important for the mind.

0:15:54 > 0:15:57- I need to familiarize myself - with the sections.

0:15:58 > 0:16:03- The last thing I want to do - on a 150-mile challenge...

0:16:03 > 0:16:05- ..is to get lost - and add more mileage.

0:16:06 > 0:16:07- I'll follow you.

0:16:16 > 0:16:18- It's easy to start...

0:17:06 > 0:17:09- There isn't a level - for competitive athletes to reach.

0:17:10 > 0:17:14- You set your own level - but try to do better every day...

0:17:14 > 0:17:17- ..and you might even enjoy it!

0:17:17 > 0:17:21- In the other massive challenges...

0:17:21 > 0:17:26- ..I always stop about five miles - before the end to thank my feet.

0:17:26 > 0:17:30- I thank my body for holding together - and carrying me along.

0:17:31 > 0:17:32- You'll do it.

0:17:59 > 0:18:01- It isn't the best of preparations...

0:18:09 > 0:18:12- I've been suffering with it - for a fortnight...

0:18:13 > 0:18:16- ..and there's only three weeks - until the 3/3/3...

0:22:39 > 0:22:40- I know that.

0:22:40 > 0:22:46- But I can't ignore that uncertainty - that's in the back of my mind.

0:22:49 > 0:22:54- How many times have I looked in the - mirror and thought I can't do it?
