5:51:03 > 5:51:06Debt's rising and hope is disappearing.
5:51:06 > 5:51:10Unlike the other parties, the Green Party knows that the way to tackle
5:51:10 > 5:51:14the deficit isn't by slashing public services, it's by investing in jobs.
5:51:17 > 5:51:20Jobs will get tax revenues going back into the economy.

5:52:13 > 5:52:17Contrary to what this Government tells you, not all borrowing is bad.
5:52:17 > 5:52:20We will borrow to invest in a sustainable future
5:52:20 > 5:52:22and by clamping down on tax evasion and avoidance,
5:52:22 > 5:52:25we will gain tens of billions every year.
5:52:25 > 5:52:27By scrapping Trident nuclear weapons,
5:52:27 > 5:52:30we will save 100 billion over the next 30 years.
5:52:30 > 5:52:33And a transaction tax for the financial institutions
5:52:33 > 5:52:36of a tiny 0.05% will bring in more money than
5:52:36 > 5:52:39the Government is raising this year through welfare cuts.
5:52:39 > 5:52:42All across the country, where we have Green councillors, we are
5:52:42 > 5:52:45implementing the living wage, fighting the cruel
5:52:45 > 5:52:48and unfair bedroom tax and encouraging community banks
5:52:48 > 5:52:50and affordable loans.
5:52:52 > 5:52:56We've shown we can do it. And we can do it in your community, too.
