0:00:15 > 0:00:20to local policing, local services and to our environment.

0:00:28 > 0:00:31and what support is on offer for local shops and businesses.

0:00:31 > 0:00:34I want my council tax money to be spent efficiently.

0:00:34 > 0:00:37The Scottish Conservatives have a good record

0:00:37 > 0:00:40of keeping council tax bills low, supporting local businesses

0:00:40 > 0:00:42and supporting the Scottish police force.

0:00:42 > 0:00:46But there is a bigger question, too, about who should have the power

0:00:46 > 0:00:50to take decisions about your town, your street and your local school.

0:01:08 > 0:01:11I don't feel that the government in Edinburgh understands our community.

0:01:11 > 0:01:14I would like more decisions to be made by local people,

0:01:14 > 0:01:16and the Conservatives want that too.

0:01:16 > 0:01:19Conservatives are making a difference all over Scotland.

0:01:19 > 0:01:23In Aberdeenshire, the Conservative administration has saved £52 million

0:01:23 > 0:01:27of taxpayers' money in two years, while keeping up frontline services.

0:01:27 > 0:01:29The council has been voted

0:01:29 > 0:01:32the best local authority to work for in the whole of the UK.

0:01:32 > 0:01:37In the Borders, recycling rates have soared to more than 40%.

0:01:37 > 0:01:40The Conservative administration has built three high schools

0:01:40 > 0:01:44and refurbished five primaries, more than any council has done before.

0:01:44 > 0:01:47And in South Ayrshire, we have overseen

0:01:47 > 0:01:50a dramatic improvement in education over the past five years,

0:01:50 > 0:01:53catapulting the council into the top four in the country.

0:01:53 > 0:01:56'We believe in supporting business

0:01:56 > 0:02:00'and offering young people greater training and job opportunities.'

0:02:00 > 0:02:03This is the first time I'm going to be voting in a local election

0:02:03 > 0:02:08and I'm going to vote Conservative. Young people need to know that they have representatives

0:02:08 > 0:02:11who care about good skills and opportunities for work.

0:02:11 > 0:02:15A vote for the Scottish Conservatives is a vote for the United Kingdom.
