0:00:41 > 0:00:47even though bills have surged by 140% since 1997.

0:00:47 > 0:00:50Under Labour in Wales, unemployment is high

0:00:53 > 0:00:57We'd help businesses hire new staff, to grow and expand,

0:01:25 > 0:01:28are opening up government and publishing expenditure.

0:01:30 > 0:01:32The local elections on May 3rd

0:01:35 > 0:01:38the length and breadth of Wales.

0:01:38 > 0:01:41School standards are slipping behind other UK nations,

0:01:41 > 0:01:44and four out of ten schoolchildren

0:01:44 > 0:01:47start secondary school unable to read properly.

0:01:47 > 0:01:49It is a shameful record

0:01:49 > 0:01:52and is failing our small but proud country.

0:01:52 > 0:01:54And what about Plaid Cymru?

0:01:54 > 0:01:59Well, after their election failure last year, they've got a new leader,

0:02:01 > 0:02:04who believes in isolation for Wales and republicanism.

0:02:07 > 0:02:11and, like us, are proud of Wales, proud of our language,

0:02:11 > 0:02:16proud of our heritage, culture and of the diversity in communities,

0:02:16 > 0:02:23and if you believe in hard work, meritocracy, fairness and ambition,

0:02:23 > 0:02:26then you have a home with us in the Welsh Conservatives.
