0:00:21 > 0:00:25..but just three short weeks to plan the entire wedding...

0:00:25 > 0:00:27Could we make that in the shape of like a football?

0:00:27 > 0:00:29Flowers are a tough thing to make manly.

0:00:29 > 0:00:31..with absolutely no input from his bride.

0:00:31 > 0:00:34There is still some major fear that he's going to come out with this,

0:00:34 > 0:00:36you know, manly wedding.

0:00:36 > 0:00:40Plus, his only source of support, his groomsmen.

0:00:40 > 0:00:44No more wedding talk for the night. Let's watch the game and play some games.

0:00:44 > 0:00:46Joe is an overconfident sports fanatic.

0:00:46 > 0:00:48What if we had a couple of baseballs stuck in there too?

0:00:48 > 0:00:51Will his sports-themed wedding be a home run?

0:00:51 > 0:00:53Maybe even an umpire could marry us?

0:00:55 > 0:00:57Sports theme wedding, not good.

0:00:57 > 0:01:00- Can this man... - I said from the start you've got to do something crazy.

0:01:25 > 0:01:29Meet Joe and Cristin from Worcester, Massachusetts.

0:01:29 > 0:01:32They've been together for two-and-a-half years and are ready to get married.

0:01:32 > 0:01:35Cris and I are both from Worcester, Massachusetts.

0:01:35 > 0:01:38We both grew up in the area, Cristin specifically in Worcester.

0:01:38 > 0:01:40I grew up in Shrewsbury.

0:01:40 > 0:01:42We had known each other for a long time.

0:01:42 > 0:01:45We reconnected at a place we like to go down the street here in Worcester, Mass.

0:01:45 > 0:01:47I thought she was very pretty.

0:01:47 > 0:01:50Half of our conversation took place about how

0:01:50 > 0:01:54we still live in Worcester, how we still really enjoy living in Worcester.

0:01:54 > 0:01:57Cristin told me that she was, you know, she was a fan of kind of the local teams.

0:01:57 > 0:01:59I've kind of always been a sporty girl.

0:01:59 > 0:02:02I played sports in high school so I know about them a lot.

0:02:02 > 0:02:03Coming into the relationship with Joe

0:02:03 > 0:02:06I never realised how much I would need to love sports.

0:02:06 > 0:02:08Joe is obsessed with sports.

0:02:08 > 0:02:12He likes football, basketball, baseball, hockey, golf.

0:02:12 > 0:02:15I'd say his favourite sport is definitely basketball.

0:02:15 > 0:02:18What I love about the Boston Celtics is the tradition,

0:02:18 > 0:02:20the 17 championships.

0:02:20 > 0:02:22That's probably the first team that I really gravitated towards

0:02:22 > 0:02:24as a little kid because I loved basketball.

0:02:24 > 0:02:27Joe's idea of a romantic evening would be

0:02:27 > 0:02:30a candlelight dinner in front of the basketball game.

0:02:30 > 0:02:33BOTH LAUGH

0:02:33 > 0:02:35It does sound pretty romantic.

0:02:35 > 0:02:37No romantic game nights for this sports fan

0:02:37 > 0:02:41because he's moving out to plan their wedding over the next three weeks.

0:02:41 > 0:02:46The most important aspect of this wedding is probably my wedding dress.

0:02:46 > 0:02:49I really just want that to be something I remember.

0:02:49 > 0:02:52Certainly the wedding dress is the thing

0:02:52 > 0:02:54I probably understand the least about.

0:02:54 > 0:02:56They're all just white dresses.

0:02:56 > 0:03:00I mean, some of the things I think I could do to put my stamp

0:03:00 > 0:03:04on this wedding is definitely have some sort of sporting theme.

0:03:04 > 0:03:09I just can't picture it being a hard-core Boston sports wedding.

0:03:09 > 0:03:12Sports-themed wedding, not good.

0:03:12 > 0:03:15Hey come on, get out of here. Get off my stuff.

0:03:15 > 0:03:17You think I'm going to do all right?

0:03:17 > 0:03:20I think you'll do all right. Just keep er... keep focused.

0:03:20 > 0:03:24Remember, just wedding, wedding, those are your thoughts.

0:03:24 > 0:03:26I'm got to put my stamp on this thing, too.

0:03:26 > 0:03:29That's what I'm a little worried about.

0:03:29 > 0:03:32This day is really important to her.

0:03:32 > 0:03:36She told me that when she was a little girl she remembers playing

0:03:36 > 0:03:40wedding with her friends and practising walking down the aisle.

0:03:40 > 0:03:43Let's all hug.

0:03:43 > 0:03:44I love you so much.

0:03:44 > 0:03:46I love you too, babe.

0:03:46 > 0:03:50Making this wedding nice for Cristin is the most important thing in the world to me right now.

0:03:50 > 0:03:51Don't screw this up.

0:03:51 > 0:03:52THEY LAUGH

0:03:52 > 0:03:54All right, Avery, you ready?

0:03:54 > 0:03:56Bye.

0:03:56 > 0:03:57Say bye to your mama.

0:03:57 > 0:03:59- Oh, yeah.- All right, I'll see you in three weeks.

0:03:59 > 0:04:01I love you so much.

0:04:01 > 0:04:03I love you too, babe. All right?

0:04:07 > 0:04:08Bye-bye.

0:04:11 > 0:04:12It was sad seeing Joe leave.

0:04:12 > 0:04:14I just teared up a little bit.

0:04:14 > 0:04:16Seeing him and Avery go, it's really hard.

0:04:25 > 0:04:28For the next three weeks, Joe will be staying with his mom

0:04:28 > 0:04:30and step-dad while he plans the wedding.

0:04:30 > 0:04:32There we go.

0:04:33 > 0:04:34Hello, hello!

0:04:34 > 0:04:36Look who's home!

0:04:36 > 0:04:40- Hello.- I'm so happy.

0:04:40 > 0:04:43Well, the boys will be here pretty soon and I, uh,

0:04:43 > 0:04:45I'm relying on them for a lot of help.

0:04:45 > 0:04:49I think the first thing we need to do is have a couple of drinks,

0:04:49 > 0:04:51you know, then we'll get to the planning.

0:04:51 > 0:04:53We've got plenty of time.

0:04:53 > 0:04:56Oh, dear Lord. I think you're in for a rude awakening.

0:04:58 > 0:05:00Hello!

0:05:00 > 0:05:01Hey, hey, hey!

0:05:01 > 0:05:05Joe's recruited an all-star line up to help him tackle this wedding.

0:05:05 > 0:05:06Nick, he's my best man.

0:05:06 > 0:05:09I've known Nick since we were three years old.

0:05:09 > 0:05:13We've been friends forever and he knows that I respect his opinion

0:05:13 > 0:05:14as much as he respects mine.

0:05:14 > 0:05:15Brian is funny.

0:05:15 > 0:05:19When he focuses, he'd be a good guy to have in my corner.

0:05:19 > 0:05:21I am willing to help Joe in any way I can.

0:05:21 > 0:05:24First things first is we got to relax a little bit.

0:05:24 > 0:05:27- Have a little bit of fun, maybe through a few beers back here.- OK.

0:05:27 > 0:05:30Because we got... We do have some time. I mean, three weeks.

0:05:30 > 0:05:31Yeah, that's plenty of time.

0:05:31 > 0:05:33Yeah, I mean that's a lot, yeah.

0:05:33 > 0:05:35What, you don't think it is?

0:05:35 > 0:05:38I mean we've got... We can't just wait until week two.

0:05:38 > 0:05:40Right.

0:05:40 > 0:05:42I think we've got to nail down the venue.

0:05:42 > 0:05:44- All right.- That's priority one.

0:05:44 > 0:05:47- Why don't we...- All right. - Do we have a pen and paper?

0:05:47 > 0:05:50- Perfect, all right. - Oh, look at this.- Motherly love.

0:05:50 > 0:05:53Boston Harbor, they do a wedding on a nice boat. That's pretty cool...

0:05:53 > 0:05:56- Ooh, I like boats. - ..if it's a nice night out.

0:05:56 > 0:05:59I don't know how many people get married at Fenway, but that's another idea.

0:05:59 > 0:06:03A sports-themed wedding. Looks like Mom is mortified.

0:06:03 > 0:06:05What's the exact day that you're looking to do this?

0:06:05 > 0:06:06I think some time in...

0:06:06 > 0:06:10- We're going to the Red Sox on the 17th so it can't be then. - No, we're not.

0:06:10 > 0:06:12- It's on Saturday.- I don't think so. - It is.

0:06:12 > 0:06:13Really?

0:06:13 > 0:06:16Ah, so the Red Sox are priority number one.

0:06:16 > 0:06:17Then the wedding, got it.

0:06:17 > 0:06:19Let's huddle in. I think we got a great day here.

0:06:19 > 0:06:23Let's toast to this and we'll have a good first day's work.

0:06:23 > 0:06:26All right, all right. No more wedding talk for the night.

0:06:26 > 0:06:29- Let's watch the game and play some games.- Let's go watch the game.

0:06:29 > 0:06:30Sounds good to me.

0:06:31 > 0:06:33Joe lets a couple of days slide

0:06:33 > 0:06:36before he begins brainstorming with his groomsman Brian.

0:06:36 > 0:06:41But what does football, golf, soccer and wiffle ball have to do with a wedding?

0:06:41 > 0:06:42Here's what I'm thinking.

0:06:42 > 0:06:44We got a baseball field here in Shrewsbury.

0:06:44 > 0:06:47We all have some memories here. It is kind of pretty.

0:06:47 > 0:06:50You got the backdrop of the water. It's picturesque.

0:06:50 > 0:06:53You got the flag waving, the pine trees.

0:06:53 > 0:06:54Cristin's a softball player.

0:06:54 > 0:06:58You got a bunch of guys and girls that are huge sports fans, so why not really play this up?

0:06:58 > 0:07:02Instead of going to this stuffy wedding when we're all in tight suits,

0:07:02 > 0:07:05what better unique idea to do than to actually have it on a field?

0:07:05 > 0:07:10A baseball wedding probably won't be a hit with your traditional bride, Joe.

0:07:10 > 0:07:17Cristin jumps off the bench to visit her dream ceremony spot with two of her bridesmaids.

0:07:17 > 0:07:20I feel like I'm in a dream. This place is absolutely beautiful.

0:07:20 > 0:07:23Picture all the guests sitting here.

0:07:23 > 0:07:26With the aisle draped with the cloth just like you were describing.

0:07:26 > 0:07:28- With silks?- Yeah.- It's so nice.

0:07:28 > 0:07:32I got an idea to help you kind of picture a little bit. Go over on the bench for me.

0:07:32 > 0:07:35You're sitting on the bench. You're a groomsman.

0:07:35 > 0:07:39"Now introducing one of the groomsmen,

0:07:39 > 0:07:41"Brian Collins."

0:07:41 > 0:07:45You come out, crowd's going wild. How do you feel right now?

0:07:45 > 0:07:46Feel pretty good.

0:07:46 > 0:07:47Yeah, see?

0:07:47 > 0:07:51So picture me walking down the aisle with my mother and my brother

0:07:51 > 0:07:54and stopping here.

0:07:54 > 0:07:57Seeing Joe for the first time in three weeks.

0:07:57 > 0:08:02Picture everybody kind of in the infield. We got all the chairs.

0:08:02 > 0:08:05Cristin and I standing here right at home plate.

0:08:05 > 0:08:09We could have like umpires here, maybe even an umpire could marry us.

0:08:09 > 0:08:10It would just mean so much.

0:08:10 > 0:08:14I feel like, you know, our rings are blessed, the wedding is blessed.

0:08:14 > 0:08:17It's just going to be a magical moment to remember.

0:08:17 > 0:08:19We could have like a seventh inning stretch.

0:08:19 > 0:08:22Like, you know, with a little bit of time left in the wedding

0:08:22 > 0:08:25everybody could get up and sing like you do at baseball games.

0:08:25 > 0:08:28We could even get an organ playing some of the old favourites.

0:08:28 > 0:08:29We could do things like...

0:08:29 > 0:08:30"Take Me Out To The Ball Game?"

0:08:30 > 0:08:32ORGANIST PLAYS WEDDING MUSIC

0:08:39 > 0:08:41- If we get some Cracker Jacks.- No.

0:08:41 > 0:08:44- Peanuts. Has anyone been throwing peanuts?- Peanuts, we could do that.

0:08:44 > 0:08:45We can execute this.

0:08:45 > 0:08:48People will show up to the Tagman-Houlihan wedding and say,

0:08:48 > 0:08:52"Holy crap, I can't believe I'm at a baseball field having a wedding."

0:08:52 > 0:08:53And that's what I'm looking for.

0:08:53 > 0:08:57They might say, "Holy crap, I can't believe I'm at a baseball field having a wedding."

0:08:57 > 0:09:00A baseball wedding ceremony?

0:09:00 > 0:09:03Oh, say it ain't so, Joe.

0:09:03 > 0:09:05With the wedding just 17 days away,

0:09:05 > 0:09:07and no decisions made,

0:09:07 > 0:09:11Joe and his groomsmen fish for his dream wedding dinner.

0:09:11 > 0:09:12A clambake?!

0:09:12 > 0:09:15Clambake's a cool idea for my wedding because it's real New England.

0:09:15 > 0:09:19I mean, it's real authentic, what people do as a treat.

0:09:19 > 0:09:22And if I'm looking to try to treat my guests,

0:09:22 > 0:09:24I think a clambake might be a solid idea.

0:09:24 > 0:09:26Put our bibs on.

0:09:26 > 0:09:28Will this bib match Cristin's dress?

0:09:30 > 0:09:31You ever eaten a lobster before?

0:09:31 > 0:09:33- Not with a bib.- Really?- Yeah.

0:09:33 > 0:09:36Ah, you just, you put your arms through each one of these.

0:09:36 > 0:09:38- You serious?- Yeah.

0:09:38 > 0:09:40Shut the hell up!

0:09:43 > 0:09:46- All right, this is a one-and-a-half-pound lobster.- Wow.

0:09:46 > 0:09:49That's a one-and-a-eighth-pound lobster over there.

0:09:49 > 0:09:53My biggest fear for the wedding is that we're going to have a clambake.

0:09:53 > 0:09:54I just do not want anything like that.

0:09:54 > 0:09:59I want to sit there in my beautiful dress and not have to worry

0:09:59 > 0:10:04about getting butter or fish sauce on my outfit.

0:10:06 > 0:10:08- Pretty good.- It's all right.

0:10:08 > 0:10:10Cristin might not like the idea of lobster?

0:10:10 > 0:10:13Give her a champagne toast and a couple glasses of wine,

0:10:13 > 0:10:16she won't be worried other people cracking lobster guts all over them.

0:10:16 > 0:10:19Lobster is a great idea, Joe. Except Cristin will hate it.

0:10:19 > 0:10:22Plus you'll have to shell out too many clams.

0:10:25 > 0:10:29The next day, Joe and Nick continue venue hunting.

0:10:32 > 0:10:34Their first stop is...

0:10:34 > 0:10:38a marvellous mansion on hallowed grounds -

0:10:38 > 0:10:41White Cliffs, which give Nick the creeps.

0:10:41 > 0:10:43All right.

0:10:43 > 0:10:44Wow, is it haunted?

0:10:48 > 0:10:50Wow, holy moly.

0:10:50 > 0:10:51This is crazy.

0:10:56 > 0:10:57Where is anyone. Hello?

0:10:59 > 0:11:02- Hello.- Hello, Annemarie? - Are you Joe?

0:11:02 > 0:11:05- Yes?- Pleasure to meet you. - Nice to finally meet you, too.

0:11:08 > 0:11:09- Is it haunted?- It is not!

0:11:09 > 0:11:12It seems like it is, like a haunted mansion or something.

0:11:12 > 0:11:13- I promise it's not haunted.- No!

0:11:20 > 0:11:23While the boys put their fears to rest...

0:11:23 > 0:11:25- If it was haunted, would I be here? - That's true.

0:11:25 > 0:11:29- I would be like, "We can leave the place open, no alarms."- Right.

0:11:29 > 0:11:33Cristin and her maid of honour look at her dream haunt, just for fun.

0:11:33 > 0:11:37- Hi.- Hi! David Mebiano. Welcome to the Omni-Parker House.

0:11:37 > 0:11:39Ladies, feast your eyes. This is table number 40.

0:11:39 > 0:11:45- The reason it's famous is this is where John F Kennedy proposed to Jackie Onassis.- Oh!

0:11:45 > 0:11:48Jen, this is what I've been talking about. This is it.

0:11:48 > 0:11:53- This is gorgeous. This is everything you've wanted or talked about.- It really is.

0:11:53 > 0:11:56The views of Boston. Imagine this at night.

0:11:56 > 0:11:59- And music right by the dance floor. - Ideal.

0:11:59 > 0:12:01I think a simple set-up would be pretty good.

0:12:01 > 0:12:04I don't want - I don't know - screens along the back wall.

0:12:05 > 0:12:07Oh, wow.

0:12:07 > 0:12:11These would come down. You'll see those throughout the building.

0:12:11 > 0:12:12Do these open from the inside?

0:12:12 > 0:12:16If there were rowdy guests, could we pop them in here and pull the storm door down.

0:12:16 > 0:12:17- Certainly.- OK.

0:12:17 > 0:12:20Look at the different berries on each champagne glass.

0:12:20 > 0:12:22I hope Joe will picture something like this.

0:12:22 > 0:12:29There is still some major fear that he's going to come out with this, you know, manly wedding

0:12:29 > 0:12:34that I'm going to walk into and just not even know what to say.

0:12:34 > 0:12:38- Have you been to the arcade and they have mini hoop shots?- Yeah. - Would that be a good spot?

0:12:38 > 0:12:41You can do whatever you want, it's your day, you're the groom.

0:12:41 > 0:12:44Wait, can you say that again?! I love that. What was that again?

0:12:44 > 0:12:48You can do, Joe, whatever you want, it's your day, you're the groom.

0:12:48 > 0:12:49Oh, you're the best, Annemarie!

0:12:51 > 0:12:55What do you think, Nick? Cocktail hour here, basketball hoops there?

0:12:55 > 0:12:58The unhaunted mansion leaves the boys in good spirits,

0:12:58 > 0:13:00but they have one more venue to see.

0:13:02 > 0:13:05Luciano's seems like a classy place.

0:13:05 > 0:13:07I think an outdoor wedding could be beautiful.

0:13:07 > 0:13:10My biggest fear about the venue is it'll probably be outside.

0:13:10 > 0:13:15This is the way that she'd walk down and this is where the actual ceremony's going to take place.

0:13:15 > 0:13:17- It's really pretty out here.- It is.

0:13:17 > 0:13:20I'm not the kind of girl who likes being outside.

0:13:20 > 0:13:23I don't like humidity. I don't like certain weather.

0:13:23 > 0:13:26I'm a big basketball guy, I love basketball.

0:13:26 > 0:13:28So I thought, you know those little hoop shot things?

0:13:28 > 0:13:30Would that be something I could do in here?

0:13:30 > 0:13:33Yeah, if you could find a place that you think that it wouldn't

0:13:33 > 0:13:37interfere with broken glass or balls in food and stuff like that.

0:13:37 > 0:13:39No balls in food, got it.

0:13:39 > 0:13:42And this is the ballroom.

0:13:42 > 0:13:45- And this is the ballroom. - Ooh, I love the floor already.- Yeah.

0:13:45 > 0:13:48Like the parquet. I feel like I'm on a basketball court.

0:13:48 > 0:13:52The two of you feel comfortable sitting at a sweetheart table?

0:13:52 > 0:13:55A sweetheart table, does that mean all eyes are on me? Yeah, I like that.

0:13:55 > 0:13:57CLINKS GLASS

0:13:57 > 0:14:00- You know what happens after that? - No.

0:14:00 > 0:14:03- You guys have to kiss every time. - Really?

0:14:03 > 0:14:06My knife will be going crazy that day.

0:14:06 > 0:14:09When you clink glasses the bride and groom are supposed to kiss.

0:14:09 > 0:14:12Nick seemed really into it for some reason.

0:14:12 > 0:14:15- Why, you like seeing me and Cristin kiss? - Centre of attention.

0:14:15 > 0:14:17You enjoy that for some reason?

0:14:17 > 0:14:19OK. Awkward.

0:14:19 > 0:14:24I think within this whole process I'm around the six or seventh inning.

0:14:24 > 0:14:28But, like any person that follows sports knows, it can change in a heartbeat.

0:14:30 > 0:14:33Joe and his groomsmen check out another location -

0:14:33 > 0:14:35the botanical gardens.

0:14:35 > 0:14:37This is the first ceremony location you could choose.

0:14:37 > 0:14:39It's called the lawn garden.

0:14:39 > 0:14:42Look at this view. This is perfect right here.

0:14:42 > 0:14:46Maybe after the ceremony we could get a little wiffle ball game going.

0:14:46 > 0:14:47Bring it back old style.

0:14:47 > 0:14:49- There we go. - Home runs over the trees.

0:14:49 > 0:14:53- No ball playing is allowed. - No ball playing? It's like home. It's just like home.

0:14:53 > 0:14:57- Yes. Exactly.- Our mums will like that rule, that's for sure.

0:14:57 > 0:15:01- You're going to have to put on your grown up clothes.- Ahhh.

0:15:01 > 0:15:03These are grown up clothes, right?

0:15:03 > 0:15:06There is nothing grown up about those.

0:15:06 > 0:15:10The other location for a ceremony is down here in this lower garden called the secret garden.

0:15:10 > 0:15:14Can I take a stab that that might be a nice little area for the cocktail hour.

0:15:14 > 0:15:15No, you may not.

0:15:17 > 0:15:19You're 0 for 2.

0:15:19 > 0:15:22That definitely looks like a great, um, photo shoot spot.

0:15:22 > 0:15:23- You're very photogenic, Joe. - Thank you.

0:15:23 > 0:15:27- You are with this yellow shirt, too. - You think so?- Oh, yeah. - I think so, too.

0:15:27 > 0:15:29We're very colourful today.

0:15:29 > 0:15:32This is called the Limonaia, where we would hold the ceremony

0:15:32 > 0:15:35- if we had to pull it inside due to bad weather.- OK.

0:15:35 > 0:15:37- Wow.- Pretty spectacular.

0:15:37 > 0:15:38It is very pretty, here.

0:15:38 > 0:15:41It does have a little bit of a churchy feel to it.

0:15:41 > 0:15:46All right, this is really nice, but the important question is, how far away are we from the party room?

0:15:46 > 0:15:50- I am sensing that the party is important to you. - It's definitely important.

0:15:50 > 0:15:54- And this is where dinner and dancing will take place.- OK. - Come on in and see the grandeur.

0:15:54 > 0:15:57- You can seat 150 guests with a dance floor.- OK.

0:15:57 > 0:16:01One of the things I'm kind of envisioning is different lighting and things like that.

0:16:01 > 0:16:02Have any other couples done that?

0:16:02 > 0:16:09The only thing to remember here is set-up here is between four and six. We can't do anything during the day.

0:16:09 > 0:16:13- And it has to removed by 12:30, an hour after the wedding.- OK.

0:16:13 > 0:16:17There was just a lot of stuff that I guess, if you are planning weddings, is important

0:16:17 > 0:16:21- but to me, I mean, I want to throw a kick ass party. - Do you bring in a wooden floor?

0:16:21 > 0:16:25- That's a great question. We dance right on this surface. - On this surface? OK.

0:16:25 > 0:16:28Would a DJ be allowed to bring in any type of floor?

0:16:28 > 0:16:31Only because I look at these and again I'm thinking...

0:16:31 > 0:16:35In order for me to get psyched up for this I have to think like a girl a little bit.

0:16:35 > 0:16:38If I was a girl and I looked at this and I was wearing my nice shoes,

0:16:38 > 0:16:43I'd be worried about getting stuck in one of these and having to live at the Botanic Gardens.

0:16:43 > 0:16:47At a wedding last week they brought in baskets of flip flops and everyone changed their shoes.

0:16:47 > 0:16:49Ohhh. And a lot of girls do do that.

0:16:49 > 0:16:52A lot of girls bring flats because they go, "Oh, my feet hurt."

0:16:52 > 0:16:56That actually isn't a bad idea. That could be some sort of favour.

0:16:56 > 0:17:00Why don't you write that down because I know you've taken a ton of notes today so far.

0:17:00 > 0:17:01Flip flops.

0:17:01 > 0:17:05- Yeah. What have you got so far? - What else you got over there? - What else for the day?

0:17:05 > 0:17:08- What else is on there, Nick? - Flip flops and iPad.

0:17:08 > 0:17:13- You don't even have Botanical Gardens on here? - He's struggling a bit with notes.

0:17:13 > 0:17:14Another thing to write down -

0:17:14 > 0:17:18if you want to have a wedding you need to actually chose a venue, Joe.

0:17:18 > 0:17:23- Thanks for showing us around. - Great to meet you and good luck with this amazing project.

0:17:23 > 0:17:25- OK.- Bye, guys. - All right, bye.- See you.

0:17:25 > 0:17:28One week down and no points on the board,

0:17:28 > 0:17:32Joe and Nick meet graphic designer friend, Mary, to discuss invitations.

0:17:32 > 0:17:38- So I'm thinking, maybe these invitations have something to do with sports, so that...- Oooh.

0:17:38 > 0:17:40What? You don't think that's a good idea?

0:17:40 > 0:17:42I don't know if Cristin would like that.

0:17:42 > 0:17:45It's going to make her panic a bit, but I have a lot of panic to do

0:17:45 > 0:17:48in the next two weeks, so why not let her panic?

0:17:48 > 0:17:51Passive aggression - the foundation of a successful marriage(!)

0:17:51 > 0:17:54Get a blank slate and just imagine.

0:17:54 > 0:17:58- And just think, "Joe."- Yeah. - And a little bit of Cristin.

0:17:58 > 0:18:00Yeah, yeah, at least at this stage.

0:18:00 > 0:18:03What about something like a ticket?

0:18:03 > 0:18:05You know, like they give you for the game.

0:18:05 > 0:18:08- Like have the ticket presenting... - Whoa, that's cool.

0:18:08 > 0:18:10Joe Tagman vs Cristin Houlihan, The boxing match.

0:18:10 > 0:18:13Yeah, versus, you guys against each other.

0:18:13 > 0:18:16Whoa, I'm not boxing. But no, I like the ticket idea.

0:18:16 > 0:18:19Something like that. That looks like a ticket.

0:18:19 > 0:18:21That looks more like a rectangle.

0:18:21 > 0:18:27It'll be something with us probably next to each other, with maybe my arm around her.

0:18:27 > 0:18:31This one's Cristin, she's not really sure whether she's happy yet.

0:18:31 > 0:18:37Well I get your idea but I might, you know, make it prettier and change it up a little bit.

0:18:37 > 0:18:38Cristin loves bows.

0:18:38 > 0:18:43Like if we did a basketball and then you did a bow.

0:18:43 > 0:18:48- So it would kind of look like... - That's ridiculous. - What, like a... Why?

0:18:48 > 0:18:50You want to put a bow on a basketball?

0:18:50 > 0:18:55I mean, obviously the theme of this thing is to not tell the bride.

0:18:55 > 0:18:57- Yeah.- So if we did, like...

0:18:59 > 0:19:05"I hope you're all ready to come along for the ride, but everyone remember, don't tell the bride."

0:19:05 > 0:19:07Hey, that's the name of the show.

0:19:07 > 0:19:10- I'll write that down. - That is gold. - Somebody might steal it.

0:19:10 > 0:19:12- Before we forget.- OK, so what was it?

0:19:15 > 0:19:18With Mary designing the invitations for free,

0:19:18 > 0:19:20Joe only pays 213 for the supplies.

0:19:24 > 0:19:27It's just 12 days till the wedding.

0:19:27 > 0:19:30Joe and Nick meet Chris to finally shop for Cristin's wedding dress.

0:19:30 > 0:19:34- Hi.- We're here to shop for some wedding dresses.

0:19:34 > 0:19:37- Can I aim you in the direction of what you're looking for?- Sure.

0:19:37 > 0:19:40Um, we're looking for a wedding dress!

0:19:40 > 0:19:42I know very little about wedding dresses.

0:19:42 > 0:19:45I know that it's going to be white.

0:19:45 > 0:19:46Is it something you want to see her in

0:19:46 > 0:19:49or is it something you're picking out so she'll be happy?

0:19:49 > 0:19:52- A little bit of both, right? - Yeah, probably a bit of both.

0:19:52 > 0:19:55- I think I have a pretty good sense of what her style is, so...- You do?

0:19:55 > 0:19:58When I buy Cristin things, she likes them.

0:19:58 > 0:20:01Joe buys me gifts and sometimes they are a little bit off the mark.

0:20:01 > 0:20:05So I have some good confidence going into this.

0:20:05 > 0:20:09That might be a big issue for the wedding because I tell him that I love these gifts.

0:20:09 > 0:20:12I'm not sure exactly if Joe really knows my style.

0:20:12 > 0:20:15- This is... - Yeah, here we go buddy, huh?

0:20:16 > 0:20:20- Pick out a dress. - They all kinda look... - Don't they all look the same?

0:20:20 > 0:20:25Unwilling to be ejected from the wedding dress game,

0:20:25 > 0:20:28Cristin and her bridesmaids try on gowns just for fun.

0:20:28 > 0:20:30I'd say I'm a wedding dress connoisseur.

0:20:30 > 0:20:33I've been dreaming of my wedding dress my entire life.

0:20:33 > 0:20:37- This is our Oscar de la Renta. One of the bestsellers.- Beautiful.

0:20:38 > 0:20:41As far as the veil, there's fingertip.

0:20:41 > 0:20:44You could wear a pill box hat. You can have a birdcage.

0:20:44 > 0:20:47You might as well be speaking another language.

0:20:47 > 0:20:51- OK, you want me to dumb it down? - Yeah, yeah. Dumb it down!

0:20:51 > 0:20:53We don't need the big, fancy words.

0:20:53 > 0:20:55- This is a Paloma Blanca. - How much is that one, Janet?

0:20:55 > 0:21:00- If my memory serves me correct, around 2,850.- Wow.

0:21:00 > 0:21:03Yeah. It's not about the money. It's about how you want her to look.

0:21:03 > 0:21:05- It is.- No, it's not.

0:21:05 > 0:21:09The bride looks forward to her day since she's been five years old.

0:21:11 > 0:21:14Oh, OK. It's beautiful.

0:21:14 > 0:21:15Very big!

0:21:15 > 0:21:18The train is gorgeous.

0:21:18 > 0:21:21I mean, that's a stunning dress, but you don't even look happy.

0:21:21 > 0:21:25I feel if I was dancing you wouldn't even be able to tell.

0:21:25 > 0:21:29You'd be moving inside the dress. No ball gowns for Cristin.

0:21:29 > 0:21:31Joe, no ball gown for Cristin!

0:21:31 > 0:21:33- How's that? - Not bad, actually.

0:21:33 > 0:21:35You could do a pill box.

0:21:35 > 0:21:37If you had a pill box...

0:21:39 > 0:21:43You looked shocked. I like that.

0:21:44 > 0:21:45- Isn't that a little snug?- Yeah.

0:21:45 > 0:21:49If you're not as comfortable even in the way you're standing,

0:21:49 > 0:21:51- it's not the perfect wedding dress. - It's not for me.

0:21:51 > 0:21:55I really don't like the mermaid style, it's too tight, too fitted at the bottom.

0:21:55 > 0:21:58I want to be comfortable. I want to be able to move my legs.

0:21:58 > 0:22:02Now boys, this is the one you did not want to see her in.

0:22:02 > 0:22:05- Oh, see his face? - That one I didn't like at all, but...

0:22:05 > 0:22:06- This is...- I like that.

0:22:06 > 0:22:08This is, believe it or not, a mermaid fit.

0:22:08 > 0:22:10I like that one a lot, Janet.

0:22:10 > 0:22:12You threw me a curveball here, Janet.

0:22:13 > 0:22:17- This is a little bit bigger. Definitely a different style.- Yes.

0:22:17 > 0:22:19Something about this I really like.

0:22:19 > 0:22:22It's regal. You look like a Princess.

0:22:22 > 0:22:25It's nothing everyone has.

0:22:25 > 0:22:29The wedding dress is so important to me. When you think of a wedding, you think of the dress.

0:22:29 > 0:22:32- Girls, this is my perfect dress. - Oooh, that's nice.

0:22:34 > 0:22:37It's really important I get the dress right.

0:22:37 > 0:22:40The dress has been one of the most important things to her

0:22:40 > 0:22:44and this is probably the thing that scares me the most about this whole process.

0:22:53 > 0:22:55- All right, let's ring it up.- OK. - I like it, I like it.

0:22:55 > 0:22:59- We have a winner. - We've got to make a decision on this. We've got do this.

0:22:59 > 0:23:02There was a ton of me that wanted to walk out of there today and say,

0:23:02 > 0:23:05"I'll think about it," but I don't really have time to think about it.

0:23:05 > 0:23:09What was I going to do when I walked out - remember something different?

0:23:09 > 0:23:10Maybe not, Joe.

0:23:10 > 0:23:13But buying that mermaid dress could be a costly error.

0:23:16 > 0:23:19The next day, Joe decides on a venue over drinks.

0:23:19 > 0:23:20What could go wrong?

0:23:20 > 0:23:26I think we should crunch some numbers and then figure out exactly what decision needs to be made.

0:23:26 > 0:23:31White Cliffs, things I didn't like was that it was really inside.

0:23:31 > 0:23:33There was no sense of being outside.

0:23:33 > 0:23:36I didn't love where you walk in and where Cristin would have walked in,

0:23:36 > 0:23:39- kind of would have looked weird. - Mmm-hmm.

0:23:39 > 0:23:44Lake Pearl, positives were it was beautiful. It was a cool site.

0:23:44 > 0:23:48I mean, everything from the ballroom with the parquet floor to where the ceremony was.

0:23:48 > 0:23:50That floor just looked perfect.

0:23:50 > 0:23:54It was just like a hard wood gymnasium floor, ready to play a game of hoops on.

0:23:54 > 0:23:58Come on, guys, this is a wedding, you're not marrying Larry Bird.

0:23:58 > 0:24:05The one that I liked the most is... Luciano's at Lake Pearl.

0:24:05 > 0:24:08If my wedding's outside, I am not really going to like it.

0:24:08 > 0:24:12An outdoor wedding would not be ideal for me.

0:24:12 > 0:24:19Joe locks in Luciano's with an outdoor ceremony for 11,614.

0:24:25 > 0:24:27It's nine days until the wedding.

0:24:27 > 0:24:32With the venue and dress booked, Joe and his groomsmen go tux shopping.

0:24:32 > 0:24:34The challenge is to make us look as good as we feel today.

0:24:34 > 0:24:37- I can do that. - All right, perfect.

0:24:37 > 0:24:42I really hope that Joe has picked a traditional black tux for himself.

0:24:42 > 0:24:44I don't think I've ever tried on a white tux.

0:24:44 > 0:24:46- Do you have any of these here that I can try on?- I do.

0:24:46 > 0:24:50You can try on you want. Let's get you in the back room and put some things on.

0:24:50 > 0:24:54Um, I'm not sure Cristin will love this Boston Celtics colour scheme?

0:24:56 > 0:24:57Wow, Joey!

0:24:57 > 0:25:00Hold on, stay right there, buddy, let me get a little shot.

0:25:00 > 0:25:03- You got it? - Let me get a full frontal.

0:25:03 > 0:25:07- I haven't seen it yet, let me at least look in the mirror. - All right.

0:25:07 > 0:25:10- What do you think about the white? - The white is definitely very different.

0:25:10 > 0:25:13- Sharp.- It is sharp.

0:25:13 > 0:25:17So what would be different between the groom and the groomsmen?

0:25:17 > 0:25:20Well, we can do the groomsmen in the same set-up, but black coat.

0:25:20 > 0:25:23- Black coat and Joey wears the white? - That makes it a little...

0:25:23 > 0:25:25Like the Captain, yeah, there you go.

0:25:25 > 0:25:29- Captain, I like that. Do you have any hats?- I do.

0:25:29 > 0:25:32- Are you really going to wear a hat? - I might. Oh, here we go.

0:25:35 > 0:25:38Do not pass go, do not collect 200!

0:25:38 > 0:25:40So, the hat doesn't work?

0:25:40 > 0:25:42Thank you for this fabulous hat.

0:25:42 > 0:25:47In terms of price, what could you do for me and six of my groomsmen?

0:25:47 > 0:25:49I can give it to you for 35% off.

0:25:49 > 0:25:52If you go 50, I'll get 'em.

0:25:53 > 0:25:57Can we go 50, please? Please Gina, please?

0:25:57 > 0:26:00- OK.- We've got a deal? - We can do that.

0:26:00 > 0:26:02All right, I'm fired up. Let's get it in here.

0:26:02 > 0:26:04One, two, three...yeah!

0:26:04 > 0:26:07- Let's do the 50% off dance. - The 50% off dance.

0:26:08 > 0:26:11Yeah!

0:26:16 > 0:26:20On the agenda today is picking out the bridesmaids' dresses.

0:26:20 > 0:26:21I'm Joe.

0:26:21 > 0:26:24Just like taking a band-aid off, let's get this over with as fast as possible.

0:26:24 > 0:26:26- The colour I'm looking at - green, emerald green.- OK.

0:26:26 > 0:26:31- So a bit of a darker green, kind of the Irish type of thing.- All right.

0:26:31 > 0:26:34So you're sticking with the Boston Celtics colour scheme?

0:26:34 > 0:26:36How romantic(!)

0:26:36 > 0:26:39We have a sample dress, it's in certain style

0:26:39 > 0:26:41and a certain colour, but you can choose your colours.

0:26:41 > 0:26:45So all these are different, huh?

0:26:45 > 0:26:47Looks more like a nightgown.

0:26:47 > 0:26:50Kind of feels like a pool cover. Uh-oh, and here they are.

0:26:50 > 0:26:52- Hey!- Hey, what's going on?

0:26:52 > 0:26:56Team Cristin arrives to model bridesmaids' dresses for Joe.

0:26:56 > 0:26:59- You guys going to be nice to me? - Are you going to be nice to us?

0:26:59 > 0:27:02When the girls walked in I could see the look on their face,

0:27:02 > 0:27:05already wondering what I had done and I hadn't even done anything yet.

0:27:05 > 0:27:07Come on out.

0:27:07 > 0:27:09I like that one.

0:27:09 > 0:27:11Geez, they all look so pretty, maybe it's just the models.

0:27:15 > 0:27:17- Is that one comfortable?- No.

0:27:19 > 0:27:21Nobody is even looking at me now.

0:27:21 > 0:27:25They're all just looking away. Come on, ladies.

0:27:25 > 0:27:29- You know what might make it easier for you?- A drink?

0:27:29 > 0:27:31A drink, that would actually start.

0:27:31 > 0:27:34I tried to judge a little bit by their facial reactions,

0:27:34 > 0:27:37but every reaction they gave me was...

0:27:37 > 0:27:39So, I got nothing.

0:27:39 > 0:27:45All right, no more procrastination, Joe, you've just got to pick one of these...

0:27:45 > 0:27:47All right, I'm going to go with this one.

0:27:47 > 0:27:51Overall, I feel good that the dress-picking part is over.

0:27:51 > 0:27:52- Thank you, Jen.- Thank you.

0:27:52 > 0:27:55I want to keep the girls in the dark about the colour.

0:27:55 > 0:27:58I don't want them squawking about it amongst themselves.

0:27:58 > 0:28:00I don't want them telling Cristin.

0:28:00 > 0:28:01Don't hate me.

0:28:01 > 0:28:04And I didn't really want their opinion on it at that time, either.

0:28:04 > 0:28:10Six Celtics uniforms - sorry, bridesmaid's dresses - for 1,378.

0:28:15 > 0:28:17The wedding is just a week away

0:28:17 > 0:28:20so Joe and best man, Nick, look at flowers.

0:28:20 > 0:28:23I don't even know the first place to look in here.

0:28:23 > 0:28:27- I need a special flower, you need a special flower. - What kind? Do you know what kind?

0:28:27 > 0:28:32Boutonnieres. Sometimes the women want one around their wrist or they want to hold one.

0:28:32 > 0:28:35- Is that a "cra-sage"? - I'm not too sure.

0:28:35 > 0:28:38- A corsage? - A corsage, that sounds familiar.

0:28:38 > 0:28:40Flowers are really important to this whole process.

0:28:40 > 0:28:44I didn't realise how much goes into it and everything you need, until today.

0:28:44 > 0:28:47I'll tell you what my style is a little bit - I love sports.

0:28:50 > 0:28:56- I can make you the Bruins sign.- OK. - I could do the Red Sox.

0:28:56 > 0:28:57But can you make the Celtics?

0:28:57 > 0:29:02- I'm delivering a couple weddings today - you want to go and see 'em? - Yeah, let's check 'em out.

0:29:02 > 0:29:08Meanwhile Cristin and her maid of honour, Jen, hone in on her ideal flower arrangements.

0:29:08 > 0:29:11- When I think of a wedding I think of roses.- OK.

0:29:11 > 0:29:13I really love blue hydrangeas, roses,

0:29:13 > 0:29:15maybe an arrangement with both.

0:29:15 > 0:29:19So something king of classic as opposed to funky and unusual?

0:29:19 > 0:29:23Classy, elegant, yeah. Definitely!

0:29:23 > 0:29:25This is exactly what I would want for my wedding.

0:29:25 > 0:29:27I think it's perfect. I think it's so pretty.

0:29:27 > 0:29:31These here are boutonnieres that the guys pin on their shirts.

0:29:31 > 0:29:34- Could I do something a little bit more manly?- Yeah.

0:29:34 > 0:29:37- All right. - You can pick out anything you like.

0:29:37 > 0:29:38That's a cascade.

0:29:38 > 0:29:41Could we make that in the shape of a football?

0:29:41 > 0:29:44- Yeah.- If that's what I wanted... - If that's what you want.

0:29:44 > 0:29:47- Walking down the aisle, she'd be carrying a football.- Uh-huh.

0:29:47 > 0:29:49- That might be different.- It would.

0:29:49 > 0:29:52What if we had a couple baseballs tucked in there too?

0:29:52 > 0:29:56- Could you can work around baseballs or something? - Absolutely, it'd be fun.

0:29:56 > 0:29:59Flowers are a tough thing to make manly.

0:29:59 > 0:30:05I definitely want to put something sports into the flowers to make it my own.

0:30:10 > 0:30:15Now Joe and groomsman Chris go to buy rings.

0:30:15 > 0:30:17Hey, how's it going? I'm Joe.

0:30:17 > 0:30:19- Joe. Nick.- Nick, good to meet you, man.

0:30:19 > 0:30:20- Chris.- Nice to meet you both.

0:30:20 > 0:30:23Chris is a groomsman and an agent. He's probably going to do

0:30:23 > 0:30:26- a lot of the negotiations.- OK. - I'm all in one, I'm all exclusive.

0:30:26 > 0:30:28What kind of agent? Like a...

0:30:28 > 0:30:31Er, a wedding jewellery agent, as of today.

0:30:31 > 0:30:33Well, it's nice to meet one.

0:30:34 > 0:30:37I'm looking to get some wedding rings.

0:30:37 > 0:30:40- I know that's an important part of the ceremony, isn't it?- Yeah!

0:30:40 > 0:30:42So these are our wedding bands.

0:30:42 > 0:30:43I like those. Those are sharp.

0:30:43 > 0:30:46- These are white tungsten. - Let's check it out.

0:30:46 > 0:30:48I'm afraid to put it on.

0:30:48 > 0:30:50If you get it on, you'll be able to get it off.

0:30:50 > 0:30:54- I don't know if it's going to come off.- Just put it on. - I don't want to!

0:30:54 > 0:30:56- Then I'll put it on. - All right. You put it on.

0:30:56 > 0:30:59How about I put it on you? How about that?

0:30:59 > 0:31:00- Nah, nah, nah.- Why not?

0:31:00 > 0:31:02It's just a step over the line that I don't feel like going.

0:31:02 > 0:31:04Oh, boy.

0:31:05 > 0:31:08If you like that style, this one here

0:31:08 > 0:31:11is actually very popular and we sell a lot of that one.

0:31:11 > 0:31:12What do you think about this one?

0:31:12 > 0:31:15- That's interesting. - I kinda like that one.

0:31:17 > 0:31:18It's a very sharp look.

0:31:18 > 0:31:21Every time you look down at it, you can think of me now.

0:31:21 > 0:31:23- I don't think so.- No?

0:31:23 > 0:31:25You can get rid of those. I don't want to look at another.

0:31:29 > 0:31:32This ring right here would probably make her the happiest

0:31:32 > 0:31:35because it's got the most diamonds in it.

0:31:35 > 0:31:37It's very nice and very sparkly, but unfortunately,

0:31:37 > 0:31:41- I think it might just be a little out of my budget... - What's your slogan, Joe?

0:31:41 > 0:31:42- Uh...- The more sparkles...

0:31:42 > 0:31:44The more expensive.

0:31:46 > 0:31:49- This is Carl Saks. He's my uncle. - Hi, Carl. Pleased to meet you.

0:31:49 > 0:31:52Pleased to meet you too. Hey, Chris. Nice to meet you.

0:31:52 > 0:31:56I'm wondering what you could do for me for those two.

0:31:56 > 0:32:00I think we can probably do these rings for you for 700 for the pair.

0:32:00 > 0:32:02Just so I feel like I'm wheeling and dealing,

0:32:02 > 0:32:04if you could do it for 650, we'll call it a deal today.

0:32:04 > 0:32:06What do you think?

0:32:06 > 0:32:07You're the boss.

0:32:07 > 0:32:08Yeah, all right. You've got a deal.

0:32:08 > 0:32:11- Excellent.- Thank you. - We appreciate it.- You're welcome.

0:32:13 > 0:32:17That was the first time in this three weeks,

0:32:17 > 0:32:19that I've seen Joe legitimately nervous.

0:32:19 > 0:32:23He was over those rings and I don't know if you could see the sweat.

0:32:23 > 0:32:25- I could see the sweat coming down... - I was sweating.

0:32:25 > 0:32:26..and he was nervous.

0:32:26 > 0:32:28'Yeah, I was nervous.'

0:32:28 > 0:32:31I was definitely nervous in there. It was tough.

0:32:32 > 0:32:34With five days to go,

0:32:34 > 0:32:37Joe has a trick play to get Cristin to the wedding...

0:32:37 > 0:32:38Thanks for meeting me, buddy.

0:32:38 > 0:32:42..using his pal, Finz, the mascot of the Worcester Sharks Hockey Team.

0:32:42 > 0:32:47So, here's the deal. I'm marrying my fiancee Cristin on Friday.

0:32:47 > 0:32:50That will let them honeymoon at the Sox game on Saturday.

0:32:50 > 0:32:52So I'm going to write an invitation out here

0:32:52 > 0:32:54and I need you to hand deliver it to her.

0:32:54 > 0:32:55Can you do that for me?

0:32:55 > 0:32:58All right, I appreciate it, buddy. Let's get it written.

0:32:59 > 0:33:02A wedding invitation on a basketball?!

0:33:02 > 0:33:04Where's the romance in that?

0:33:04 > 0:33:07Oh, there's the romance(!)

0:33:07 > 0:33:10Plus, what I'm doing, Finz, is I kind of have a sports theme to this.

0:33:10 > 0:33:12I know you're a hockey guy, but I figured you might be able

0:33:12 > 0:33:14to deliver this basketball for me.

0:33:14 > 0:33:17Don't let anybody see you.

0:33:17 > 0:33:18Yeah!

0:33:33 > 0:33:35Oh, my goodness!

0:33:35 > 0:33:37It's Finz!

0:33:37 > 0:33:38Oh, my God!

0:33:38 > 0:33:40'When I opened the door I saw Finz,'

0:33:40 > 0:33:41I was shocked,

0:33:41 > 0:33:43'I was speechless.'

0:33:45 > 0:33:46Awww, guys.

0:33:46 > 0:33:47What does it say?

0:33:47 > 0:33:52"Cristin, I can't wait any more to marry you, the girl of my dreams.

0:33:52 > 0:33:57"On 9/16/11 at 6pm Xoxo..."

0:33:57 > 0:34:00I'm an emotional wreck.

0:34:02 > 0:34:03Yay!

0:34:03 > 0:34:05Finz is dancing!

0:34:08 > 0:34:11I need to take this all in. This is so much.

0:34:11 > 0:34:14So, is it a relief, though? It must be a big weight off your shoulders.

0:34:14 > 0:34:16I'm hoping that this is not

0:34:16 > 0:34:19'a sports-themed wedding and the basketball invitation'

0:34:19 > 0:34:24is definitely scaring me a lot.

0:34:24 > 0:34:26'I think I'm just too overwhelmed.'

0:34:28 > 0:34:29I can't do this.

0:34:29 > 0:34:32He's holding a basketball and he plays hockey.

0:34:32 > 0:34:34Which very much confused us.

0:34:34 > 0:34:36What does that mean?

0:34:36 > 0:34:37Sports.

0:34:37 > 0:34:39I'm screwed.

0:34:39 > 0:34:40BLEEP

0:34:44 > 0:34:47Only two days until the wedding, Cristin continues to worry

0:34:47 > 0:34:51about Joe's sports-themed wedding with her mom and maid of honour.

0:34:51 > 0:34:54This beautiful wedding could be the opposite of what you wanted.

0:34:54 > 0:34:56- Exactly.- Anything, we think.

0:34:56 > 0:34:57- KNOCKING ON DOOR - Oh, I'll get it.

0:34:57 > 0:34:59Hello?

0:34:59 > 0:35:01How are ya? Oh, my God!

0:35:01 > 0:35:03SHRIEKING

0:35:05 > 0:35:09Joe used their dog Avery to deliver an important message.

0:35:12 > 0:35:14"Take some time to relax and get ready

0:35:14 > 0:35:16"for tonight's bachelorette party.

0:35:16 > 0:35:19"Tell the girls to meet at Junior's at 7.45."

0:35:22 > 0:35:24Ain't no party like a bachelor party!

0:35:24 > 0:35:26Hey, Joey!

0:35:26 > 0:35:28Meanwhile, the boys meet up at Chris's house

0:35:28 > 0:35:30to kick off the bachelor party.

0:35:30 > 0:35:32Congratulations, brother. To many years, let's go!

0:35:32 > 0:35:34Woo! Here we go.

0:35:34 > 0:35:36All right, let's do it.

0:35:37 > 0:35:39LAUGHTER

0:35:45 > 0:35:47So, we're going to stop for beers.

0:35:52 > 0:35:53The girls follow Joe's plan

0:35:53 > 0:35:57and begin the bachelorette party at Junior's.

0:35:57 > 0:35:58Guys, look.

0:36:30 > 0:36:32- Hey!- Heya!

0:36:32 > 0:36:34We love you.

0:36:34 > 0:36:37We're here at Tresca cos we're going to start a chocolate tour for you.

0:36:37 > 0:36:39Can we pee first?

0:36:39 > 0:36:41One of our classiest friends right here.

0:36:42 > 0:36:45Oh, my God!

0:36:45 > 0:36:47How awesome?

0:36:48 > 0:36:50Whoa! Who are you? I like you.

0:37:09 > 0:37:11with what Joe did.

0:37:11 > 0:37:14This is one of the best bachelorette parties I've ever been to.

0:37:14 > 0:37:17I was a little sceptical of what he could do

0:37:17 > 0:37:22and I'm really surprised of what he did for the...

0:37:22 > 0:37:23bachelorette party.

0:37:23 > 0:37:25I'm the maid of honour to the best bachelor...

0:37:25 > 0:37:27like, I'm having the best time ever.

0:37:27 > 0:37:30The best bachel-la-la-la...

0:37:30 > 0:37:34Way to go, Joe. You left them speechless.

0:37:37 > 0:37:40The next day, Cristin, her mom and her maid of honour

0:37:40 > 0:37:42see the dress Joe has purchased.

0:37:42 > 0:37:44Joe picking out my wedding dress is definitely making me

0:37:44 > 0:37:49a little nervous. I don't really even know Joe's take on a wedding gown.

0:37:49 > 0:37:53'I really hope Joe's got this right because there really isn't any time to fix this.'

0:37:53 > 0:37:55I'm very, very nervous, not only

0:37:55 > 0:37:58'to see the dress that Joe picked out,'

0:37:58 > 0:38:02but to see my daughter, my baby, in a wedding dress for the first time.

0:38:03 > 0:38:05I am like so nervous and anxious right now

0:38:05 > 0:38:08- that it's hard to even talk to you because...- I know.

0:38:08 > 0:38:10I cried so much last night.

0:38:14 > 0:38:17- Are you ladies ready?- We are!

0:38:17 > 0:38:19All right.

0:38:22 > 0:38:24Oh, Cristin!

0:38:26 > 0:38:29Oh...

0:38:29 > 0:38:31SHE SOBS

0:38:35 > 0:38:39Wait. Are those tears of joy or tears of sorrow?

0:38:39 > 0:38:41SHE LAUGHS

0:38:41 > 0:38:43He did a really good job.

0:38:45 > 0:38:47I love it.

0:38:51 > 0:38:54'I don't want to take it off. I think it is so beautiful

0:38:54 > 0:38:56and I can't wait to wear it

0:38:56 > 0:38:57on my wedding day.

0:39:00 > 0:39:05Everything's really starting to feel real right now. I can barely talk.

0:39:05 > 0:39:07- You're in your wedding gown. - I'm in my wedding gown.

0:39:07 > 0:39:09And Joe really did so good.

0:39:09 > 0:39:12- It just looks like it was almost designed for you.- For her body.

0:39:12 > 0:39:15This is it.

0:39:20 > 0:39:22While Cristin is bawling for joy over her dress,

0:39:22 > 0:39:25Joe and Nick do some balling of their own.

0:39:28 > 0:39:30- I think we got a lot accomplished. - You think?

0:39:30 > 0:39:35I feel like I'm just doing, kind of, exactly what Cristin would do,

0:39:35 > 0:39:37which is fine to a certain extent but...

0:39:37 > 0:39:40But she'll remember, "Wow, Joe did this for me.

0:39:40 > 0:39:41"I want him to be like..."

0:39:41 > 0:39:44That's fine, that's fine and that's important,

0:39:44 > 0:39:46but I also want me to be like,

0:39:46 > 0:39:49I did that because I liked it and then Cristin likes it too, you know?

0:39:49 > 0:39:52Meanwhile, Joe's got some money left,

0:39:52 > 0:39:56so he and the boys head to a prop shop for a last minute score.

0:39:58 > 0:40:00I know you guys rent like games and equipment

0:40:00 > 0:40:02that might be kind of cool at a wedding.

0:40:02 > 0:40:05- What about the bull, Joe? - That would be kinda cool.

0:40:05 > 0:40:08- It's a mechanical bull! - It doesn't really fit the...

0:40:08 > 0:40:10I'm going with a little bit of a sports theme.

0:40:10 > 0:40:11Basketball. Do you have any hoop shots?

0:40:11 > 0:40:15We do have basketball. We don't have it set up right now.

0:40:15 > 0:40:16HE GROANS

0:40:16 > 0:40:19But, it would be the hoops, where you could each...

0:40:19 > 0:40:21- Like try out?- We have some stuff set up out back,

0:40:21 > 0:40:23- if you guys want to...- Yeah!

0:40:23 > 0:40:26I'm worried that Joe may not take the wedding

0:40:26 > 0:40:28as serious as I hope that he does.

0:40:28 > 0:40:31Especially when he's planning it with all of his groomsmen.

0:40:31 > 0:40:32Woo!

0:40:33 > 0:40:36You've got to peddle or you're not going to make it.

0:41:02 > 0:41:05Great idea, Joe. Cristin will have a blast

0:41:05 > 0:41:07manoeuvring though that obstacle course

0:41:07 > 0:41:09in her wedding gown and heels.

0:41:13 > 0:41:15Woo!

0:41:15 > 0:41:17Where is he?!

0:41:17 > 0:41:18Hey!

0:41:21 > 0:41:24'I'm under budget on a bunch of items that I thought'

0:41:24 > 0:41:26I would be at a different number at,

0:41:26 > 0:41:28so I have enough money to play with here

0:41:28 > 0:41:31and what better way to spend it than something like

0:41:31 > 0:41:35'the obstacle course, the jousting, just something crazy.'

0:41:35 > 0:41:37Cos I said from the beginning, we've got to do something crazy.

0:41:37 > 0:41:40It's the day of the wedding. Cristin and her bridesmaids

0:41:40 > 0:41:44get ready at her maid of honour Jen's house.

0:41:44 > 0:41:47So today's the day of my wedding and I'm so excited.

0:41:47 > 0:41:50I woke up refreshed and I'm looking forward to tonight.

0:41:50 > 0:41:54I can't wait to marry Joe and I'm feeling probably the best I've ever felt.

0:41:54 > 0:41:58Meanwhile, Joe arrives at the venue for the finishing touches.

0:41:58 > 0:42:00Getting married today.

0:42:00 > 0:42:03It's crazy. I can't wait to see Cristin.

0:42:09 > 0:42:12Ah, that's going to look awesome.

0:42:12 > 0:42:13- Hey!- Hey, Joe.

0:42:13 > 0:42:16Hey, that kind of looks like some basketballs there, right?

0:42:16 > 0:42:19The plan with the flowers was to try to get a bit of a sport theme.

0:42:19 > 0:42:21So I did a little bit of a subtle basketball seam

0:42:21 > 0:42:24on the outsides of them.

0:42:24 > 0:42:26Green is for the basketball team here in Boston.

0:42:26 > 0:42:30What will Cristin think of her Celtics green bridesmaid's dresses?!

0:42:31 > 0:42:33Green!

0:42:35 > 0:42:36How do we look?

0:42:37 > 0:42:39Now, I'm scared!

0:42:40 > 0:42:44When the bridesmaids walked down, one thing I was shocked about

0:42:44 > 0:42:47was the colour green. So now it leaves me thinking that Joe

0:42:47 > 0:42:51might be going towards maybe a Celtics-themed sports wedding.

0:42:51 > 0:42:53It's not my wedding, really. It's Joe's.

0:42:53 > 0:42:57Oh, Cristin. Don't throw in the towel just yet.

0:42:58 > 0:43:02Look out, the groomsmen have arrived.

0:43:04 > 0:43:06Ah, this is perfect.

0:43:07 > 0:43:09I need some help from a couple of guys.

0:43:12 > 0:43:14All right, boys.

0:43:14 > 0:43:17I had to do something a little basketball.

0:43:25 > 0:43:28Put it together. Cristin's going to love this.

0:43:28 > 0:43:29What's this for?

0:43:31 > 0:43:341-on-1 hoops at your wedding?!

0:43:34 > 0:43:35That is a flagrant foul, Joe.

0:43:40 > 0:43:42Oh, my God, Cristin!

0:43:45 > 0:43:48I'm going to cry.

0:43:48 > 0:43:50Worst case scenario, I hope the venue

0:43:50 > 0:43:52isn't something totally sports-related.

0:43:52 > 0:43:55I hope it's not in a sports Hall of Fame or something.

0:43:55 > 0:43:58I just want it to be something pretty, classy and elegant that I like.

0:44:00 > 0:44:04The first time you see Cristin, are you going to drop a tear or...

0:44:04 > 0:44:07I don't know. I really don't know. It's like a cool moment.

0:44:18 > 0:44:19But, no. I wasn't done yet.

0:44:19 > 0:44:21I was about to say, it's one of those moments

0:44:21 > 0:44:24you know you'll remember for the rest of your life.

0:44:41 > 0:44:42Where the heck are we?

0:44:42 > 0:44:44I have no idea.
