0:49:09 > 0:49:13Today, you're in a county called Kent in the southeast of England.

0:52:42 > 0:52:46If the cherries have too much water, they grow too large

0:52:46 > 0:52:48and their skins burst.

0:52:48 > 0:52:54- Farmers call this splitting.- Here's some that weren't covered.- Oh!

0:53:02 > 0:53:08Lucy and Laura show William where the apples are grown in the orchard.

0:53:09 > 0:53:14In the apple field, they all help Graham to thin the apple trees.

0:53:14 > 0:53:18Thinning is where the smallest apples are picked from the trees,

0:53:18 > 0:53:23leaving the ones left behind to become big and juicy.

0:53:35 > 0:53:40The orchard has lots of other fruit which ripen through the seasons,

0:53:42 > 0:53:44and pears.

0:53:44 > 0:53:48This means there is always something to pick.

0:53:48 > 0:53:54Finally, Graham shows the explorers where the strawberries are grown.

0:53:54 > 0:53:59- What are we going to do now?- We can pick our own strawberries!- Really?

0:54:01 > 0:54:05Graham hands the explorers punnets to put their strawberries in.

0:54:28 > 0:54:33Then they pay for what they have picked and take it home to eat.

0:54:41 > 0:54:44They are only ready to eat when they turn red.

0:54:47 > 0:54:50but remember some berries can be bad for you.

0:55:52 > 0:55:57the different fruits they've seen on their orchard adventure.
