:00:08. > :00:10.We're making history here tonight as this event

:00:11. > :00:13.travels to North Wales for the very first time.

:00:14. > :00:15.In this special concert, we have an '80s icon...

:00:16. > :00:17.A Grammy award winning singer-songwriter....

:00:18. > :00:23.And the winner of BBC Young Musician 2016.

:00:24. > :01:18.Welcome to Parc Eirias, Colwyn Bay, for a star-studded extravanganza!

:01:19. > :01:21.Our first guest artist is a familiar face.

:01:22. > :01:24.He's a singer, a broadcaster and has an alter ego who sells insurance!

:01:25. > :01:27.To get the party started, a voice that draws thousands

:01:28. > :01:29.of listeners to his daily show on Radio Wales ? the ever

:01:30. > :04:50.Next to perform, a singer-songwriter who this year picked up a Grammy

:04:51. > :04:59.for Song of the Year with writing partner Ed Sheeran.

:05:00. > :05:05.I'm a big fan of your music, I particularly love the way your songs

:05:06. > :05:09.are filled with emotion. Would you say you've got a particular style?

:05:10. > :05:13.Yes, I definitely am one of those people that writes kind of like a

:05:14. > :05:17.diary and I always say if someone upsets me, they'll end up in a song.

:05:18. > :05:21.That's my number one threat. It's just, yeah, I'm not somebody that

:05:22. > :05:27.knows how to express myself actually in any other way other than singing

:05:28. > :05:33.about it. It's always been that kind of journey for me. The first song we

:05:34. > :05:38.are hearing is Grammy Award winning song, Thinking Out Loud. What is

:05:39. > :05:43.special about that for you? My whole journey started with Ed Sheeran. For

:05:44. > :05:47.two of us to go through that thing together in the Grammies, we both

:05:48. > :05:50.kind of sat there and went, oh, my God because it's extraordinary for

:05:51. > :05:54.what's happened to him, but for me to have got there with him is

:05:55. > :05:56.special as well. He's like my little brother and it's been a joyful

:05:57. > :05:59.thing, it really, really has. # When your legs don't work

:06:00. > :06:02.like they used to before # And I can't sweep

:06:03. > :06:07.you off of your feet # Will your mouth still remember

:06:08. > :06:11.the taste of my love # Will your eyes still

:06:12. > :06:15.smile from your cheeks # # And darling I will be

:06:16. > :06:24.loving you 'til we're 70 # And baby my heart could

:06:25. > :06:33.still fall as hard at 23 # And I'm thinking 'bout how people

:06:34. > :06:40.fall in love in mysterious ways # Maybe just the touch of a hand #

:06:41. > :06:47.Oh me I fall in love with you every single day #

:06:48. > :06:56.And I just wanna tell you I am # So honey now # Take me

:06:57. > :07:05.into your loving arms # Kiss me under the light

:07:06. > :07:10.of a thousand stars # Place your head

:07:11. > :07:14.on my beating heart # Maybe we found love

:07:15. > :07:25.right where we are # When my hair's all but gone

:07:26. > :07:29.and my memory fades # And the crowds don't

:07:30. > :07:34.remember my name # When my hands don't play

:07:35. > :07:39.the strings the same way, mm # I know you will

:07:40. > :07:42.still love me the same # 'Cause honey your soul can never

:07:43. > :07:52.grow old, it's evergreen # Baby your smile's forever

:07:53. > :08:00.in my mind and memory # I'm thinking 'bout how people fall

:08:01. > :08:08.in love in mysterious ways # Maybe it's all part

:08:09. > :08:14.of a plan # I'll just keep on making the same mistakes # Hoping

:08:15. > :08:22.that you'll understand # Kiss me under the light

:08:23. > :08:36.of a thousand stars # Place your head

:08:37. > :08:40.on my beating heart # That maybe we found

:08:41. > :08:48.love right where we are, # That maybe we found

:08:49. > :09:26.love right where we are, Thank you so much.

:09:27. > :09:34.APPLAUSE. A few months ago, our next artist

:09:35. > :09:38.was at the Barbican Hall in London competing in the Grand Final of BBC

:09:43. > :09:46.at that sensational final to witness 17-year-old cellist

:09:47. > :09:51.Sheku Kanneh-Mason give an unforgettable performance

:09:52. > :09:54.to win the coveted title. I suspect that things are never

:17:23. > :17:26.an orchestra, I think is the best experience, so I am happy. As long

:17:27. > :17:34.as the clouds held off, and the crowd looked like they are great, I

:17:35. > :17:42.be happy. -- for a singer. I play this song about three four times a

:17:43. > :17:52.week of the island of Wight. Really? Really! When I was in the jungle,

:17:53. > :17:59.the weird thing was that there were so many kids who knew True and Goal,

:18:00. > :18:09.but they didn't know the guy who had sung it. -- Gold. I had a whole new

:18:10. > :18:17.audience. It was great. Totally brilliant to meet you. Thank you.
