0:11:14 > 0:11:18- We wanted to find a carol - that stood the test of time...

0:11:18 > 0:11:21- ..and could be performed - for many years.

0:11:21 > 0:11:25- I think we've found a few like that.

0:11:26 > 0:11:32- I'm not a huge fan of drums and - guitars in a big accompaniment...

0:11:32 > 0:11:36- ..unless it fully contributes - to the performance.

0:11:36 > 0:11:41- I think it's essential to have - a good melody for a carol.

0:11:41 > 0:11:47- A catchy tune is very important - with children...

0:11:47 > 0:11:50- ..and it grabs my attention.

0:11:50 > 0:11:55- I'm looking for memorable lyrics, - a singable melody...

0:11:55 > 0:12:00- ..and a performance that conveys - the message effectively.

0:12:00 > 0:12:04- We have to remember - the real meaning of Christmas.

0:12:04 > 0:12:09- All the ten carols - that have reached the shortlist...

0:12:09 > 0:12:15- ..convey the message, have memorable - lyrics and a singable melody.
