0:15:32 > 0:15:36- ..but I begged God to help me - and I didn't feel that He was.

0:15:36 > 0:15:39- I said hardly a word...

0:15:40 > 0:15:44- ..but I'd write - asking God to help me...

0:15:44 > 0:15:47- ..and wonder why - He'd closed the door on me.

0:15:48 > 0:15:49- I was in a locked room.

0:15:50 > 0:15:54- The door couldn't be opened - there - was no door knob on the inside.

0:15:55 > 0:15:56- But I was ill.

0:15:57 > 0:15:58- I was ill.

0:15:59 > 0:16:04- I was there when I was 30 and 31, - two years.

0:16:04 > 0:16:07- Then, two years trying to get out.

0:16:08 > 0:16:11- But I was institutionalized.

0:16:11 > 0:16:15- I had more of a fear of coming out - than I had of staying inside.

0:16:16 > 0:16:21- Everything changed for you - around a decade ago.

0:16:22 > 0:16:24- Yes, I had breast cancer.

0:16:24 > 0:16:30- But before then, I'd found reiki.

0:16:31 > 0:16:34- A more spiritual life...

0:16:34 > 0:16:37- ..where one can choose to believe...

0:16:38 > 0:16:43- ..in a life - that's worthwhile and good.

0:16:43 > 0:16:46- Where you are kind - and see the best in everything.

0:19:43 > 0:19:49- One way I've enjoyed relaxing since - I was a child is being in the sea.

0:19:51 > 0:19:57- I have one that hasn't cost as much - as the others in my collection...

0:20:04 > 0:20:09- I went into the sea last summer - and I was wearing this ring.

0:20:09 > 0:20:13- I looked down at where the sun's - rays were shining on the sea...

0:20:14 > 0:20:16- ..and on the ring - and it was wonderful.

0:20:17 > 0:20:22- The colours on the ring - were brighter than ever before.

0:20:22 > 0:20:27- The reason was because - the little abalone...

0:20:27 > 0:20:30- ..was back from where it came.

0:20:30 > 0:20:33- An important part - of a chaplain's work...

0:20:33 > 0:20:35- ..is to heal people at the hospital.

0:20:36 > 0:20:39- One way of doing it, - which I see every day...

0:20:39 > 0:20:44- ..is for people to use this - difficult time in their lives...

0:20:45 > 0:20:48- ..to put themselves back - in God's love.

0:20:48 > 0:20:50- Back where they should be.

0:20:50 > 0:20:53- Not in the desert - but in the arms of God, our Father.

0:20:53 > 0:20:58- "Here is love, vast as the ocean, - loving-kindness as the flood."

0:20:58 > 0:21:03- We're like this ear shell - back in the sea's arms.

0:21:03 > 0:21:09- I hope we're putting ourselves back - in the arms of God, in His love.
