0:12:12 > 0:12:17- He wrote many of his novels, - or surely started writing them...

0:12:17 > 0:12:20- ..while he was a minister - in Llanrhaeadr.

0:12:20 > 0:12:23- Hunangofiant Tomi, - Nedw, Gwr Pen y Bryn.

0:12:23 > 0:12:27- The most well-known he wrote here - was Tir y Dyneddon.

0:12:27 > 0:12:31- When Tegla - lived in Llanrhaeadr in 1917...

0:12:31 > 0:12:35- ..there was a very harsh winter.

0:12:35 > 0:12:39- It was so harsh, - the waterfall froze.

0:12:39 > 0:12:43- 240 feet and it was frozen solid.

0:12:43 > 0:12:50- That inspired Tegla to write - the fantasy novel Tir y Dyneddon...

0:12:50 > 0:12:55- ..about fairies with - the frozen waterfall as a backdrop.

0:12:56 > 0:12:59- Tegla Davies was renowned - in his own right...

0:12:59 > 0:13:02- ..but the area's most famous son - was William Morgan.

0:13:02 > 0:13:05- He became a bishop later in life.

0:13:05 > 0:13:13- William Morgan was the - parish priest between 1578 and 1595.

0:13:13 > 0:13:17- During the first decade - of his stay here...

0:13:17 > 0:13:21- ..he translated - the entire Bible into Welsh.

0:13:39 > 0:13:44- In all honesty, he translated the - Bible despite living in Llanrhaeadr.

0:13:52 > 0:13:56- There was a great falling out - between both...
