:00:19. > :00:30.It is a tour bus and it provides me with a bunk bed and my own toilet. I

:00:31. > :00:35.need a body condoms for protection. A sense of humour. A sense of

:00:36. > :00:54.humour, yes! Hello, welcome back to Glastonbury.

:00:55. > :01:00.This is day three, the sun is shining and it is a great mood on

:01:01. > :01:06.site. I love Sunday, it is when Bliss happens and everybody becomes

:01:07. > :01:11.hippie inside and out. Definitely, and it is very much about Dolly

:01:12. > :01:17.Parton. It is an optimistic, inclusive atmosphere and we are

:01:18. > :01:24.delighted to be here bringing you some gorgeous music. We have got all

:01:25. > :01:27.sorts of stuff today. We have got the English National Ballet, a

:01:28. > :01:33.special piece they are doing. We have got so much good stuff to look

:01:34. > :01:40.forward to. It is good to remember it is a festival of all sorts,

:01:41. > :01:46.including contemporary art. I cannot wait to see some ballet. First, we

:01:47. > :01:50.are going to cross to the Pyramid stage and a gentleman who has got a

:01:51. > :01:52.very special connection with this event. It is Robert Plant from

:01:53. > :02:47.yesterday. # River man.

:02:48. > :02:52.# she's got rhythm. # ?? CAPNEXT with the no good,

:02:53. > :03:01.starry man. # well, well, yeah.

:03:02. > :03:32.# oh, the last time, she was sitting by the sea.

:03:33. > :03:51.# and her banjo on her knee. # come on, now.

:03:52. > :04:11.# oh, how kind. # just to see those two blue eyes.

:04:12. > :04:17.# ?? CAPNEXT which are shining like a diamond, like a diamond in the

:04:18. > :05:15.sky. # I am going down to the station #

:05:16. > :05:29.with my suitcase in my hand. # I am going away into some far off,

:05:30. > :05:45.distant land. # well, well, yeah. Oh, yes, oh,

:05:46. > :06:20.yes. # oh, yeah.

:06:21. > :07:07.# hey, baby, hey, baby. # oh!

:07:08. > :07:16.Robert Plant providing the grid. Little Maggie, I loved that. We have

:07:17. > :07:29.got some live music and this is a real treat. It is part of an amazing

:07:30. > :07:32.musical tradition. 70 generations has come together to make a

:07:33. > :12:00.wonderful record and they are playing for us now.

:12:01. > :12:05.literally got shivers. I went to Mali last year and made a

:12:06. > :12:12.documentary. That is just spellbinding. They are going to be

:12:13. > :12:17.on the Pyramid stage this afternoon. I love the eclectic mix

:12:18. > :12:23.of acts here. Talking about eclectic. Let's find out what the

:12:24. > :12:34.English National Ballet are doing at Glastonbury.

:12:35. > :12:38.The reason I started dancing was because of music. Michael Jackson,

:12:39. > :12:43.you put a record on and I started dancing and that is why Glastonbury

:12:44. > :12:48.is so special. It is special music. Of course I knew about Glastonbury,

:12:49. > :12:56.but I never thought I would get to perform on that stage. All of us are

:12:57. > :13:04.music fans. We would not be dancing if we did not like music. It is off

:13:05. > :13:07.the Richter scale, I am excited. As an English girl and seeing it year

:13:08. > :13:15.after year, it is an exciting thing to be part of. We are performing a

:13:16. > :13:20.piece called Dust and it is by a choreographer called Akram Khan. It

:13:21. > :13:24.started with an idea of doing something based around the First

:13:25. > :13:29.World War. I did not want to show the men dying in the trenches. We

:13:30. > :13:34.wanted to reflect that even though people are dying the women in the

:13:35. > :13:40.factories still have to build weapons for the war. We wanted to

:13:41. > :13:44.show the strength of the women showing at that time in the First

:13:45. > :13:51.World War. They had to come to the factories every day and proved they

:13:52. > :13:55.could do what the men were doing. There is the music and the movement

:13:56. > :14:00.and you will see the powerful movement from the women instead of

:14:01. > :14:05.the men. This piece is not classical ballet that we are used to dancing.

:14:06. > :14:11.This is much more grounded movement, so a lot of the stuff is

:14:12. > :14:17.very low and close to the floor. It is more like earthy movements. It is

:14:18. > :14:23.very unusual for a classical ballet dancer. One of the things I have

:14:24. > :14:30.noticed in many of the images of people in war is that they are

:14:31. > :14:36.covered in Dust. It is like a snake that needs to be released in order

:14:37. > :14:40.for a new life to start. There is one man in the centre and there is a

:14:41. > :14:50.sequence of arms that you might say looks like wings. From there it

:14:51. > :14:53.breaks up and the men go off to war and the women then take their

:14:54. > :14:59.positions, the beats of the percussion come in, and they grow in

:15:00. > :15:05.strength and our movements grow stronger and sharper. Halfway

:15:06. > :15:11.through I will be left out on stage and I will start the duet with one

:15:12. > :15:16.guy, which is beautiful. It explores our emotions and her pulling me back

:15:17. > :15:21.and me trying to go back to where my friends are on the trench. It comes

:15:22. > :15:28.after an extremely powerful piece of music and all of a sudden it is

:15:29. > :15:34.right back to nothing. I just want to see the result and the reaction.

:15:35. > :15:39.That is the bit that is making me nervous and excited at the same

:15:40. > :15:45.time. Irina is my wife, so it is going to be extremely special, not

:15:46. > :15:49.only to be performing in an incredible menu with an amazing

:15:50. > :15:56.audience, it will be special performing with my wife. It will be

:15:57. > :16:01.exciting dancing together. What more can you ask the van appearing at

:16:02. > :17:03.Glastonbury? MUSIC RESUMES WITH RENDITION OF AULD

:17:04. > :39:39.LANG SYNE CHEERING Absolutely incredible, so

:39:40. > :39:44.unique and so beautiful. The sun is out and that was the English

:39:45. > :39:49.National Ballet doing a special performance on the Pyramid stage and

:39:50. > :39:53.I am enchanted. I was almost in tears, what a powerful piece. Look

:39:54. > :40:00.at that huge crowd and that reaction. That is what is brilliant

:40:01. > :40:05.about Glastonbury. What a great response for the English National

:40:06. > :40:13.Ballet. And the main couple are married and they are in love, love

:40:14. > :40:23.Sunday! Let's gather ourselves for some beautiful music who has played

:40:24. > :40:28.the before. Sorry, that is going to happen in a minute. There is, we are

:40:29. > :40:37.going to hear about the clean-up operation.

:40:38. > :40:41.My name is Lucy Smith and I coordinate the green initiatives. I

:40:42. > :40:44.started working in the press office, so now I work doing the green

:40:45. > :41:00.initiative and it is completely different. We do a litter pick up at

:41:01. > :41:04.six in the morning and that gets taken onto a lorry up to the

:41:05. > :41:08.recycling centre. We have got conveyor belts and 2000 people

:41:09. > :41:12.working, sorting all the rubbish, the cardboard, the tins and plastic

:41:13. > :41:17.bottles. It is interesting looking through

:41:18. > :41:21.old programmes which are talking about environmental messages and

:41:22. > :41:27.banning polystyrene and they talk about recycling. Recycling has

:41:28. > :41:31.always happened at the festival. We could just have black bins,

:41:32. > :41:36.everything goes in the same thing, and we sent it to landfill, but

:41:37. > :41:41.sustainability is at the heart of Glastonbury and is in the heart of

:41:42. > :41:43.everyone who works at the festival. They want to reduce the impact on

:41:44. > :42:07.the environment. It is important to remember how big

:42:08. > :42:12.Glastonbury is and recycling on that scale is important and admirable.

:42:13. > :42:17.The sustainable side of Glastonbury. I was over keen to get

:42:18. > :42:21.to the music a moment ago. This gentleman has played the festival

:42:22. > :42:26.before, but is playing the Pyramid stage for the first time. He is

:42:27. > :42:48.herewith a special acoustic experience.

:42:49. > :43:06.# dad, dad, dad, dumb, dumb. After all the people picking, people

:43:07. > :43:12.picking people apart, my love. # after all the dealing, the hooking,

:43:13. > :43:24.the reeling along from the start. # oh, there is a feel with them.

:43:25. > :43:30.# out beyond rightness and wrong, meet me there. # woman, you are

:43:31. > :43:37.living, you are loving, you are needing me.

:43:38. > :43:42.# living, I am alive, sweet woman, keep loving me, O.

:43:43. > :43:47.# because they wake up every morning with a cradle in their hands, but

:43:48. > :43:55.they pretend it is a game. Acting like the place the truth

:43:56. > :44:00.could only live was up a lane. # oh, there is a field, lead me

:44:01. > :44:09.there. # please come along, tied that your

:44:10. > :44:23.hair. # oh, oh, oh.

:44:24. > :44:28.# I tried yesterday and it takes me so long to say, but I need you to

:44:29. > :44:33.know. # darling, you show by leaving me

:44:34. > :44:39.so, the only way to hold on is keep letting go.

:44:40. > :44:45.# oh, there is a field, meet me there.

:44:46. > :45:04.# you know, I am on my way, meet me there.

:45:05. > :45:12.# oh, oh, oh. # there is a field, meet me there.

:45:13. > :45:24.# I will be your rightness and wrong, meet me there.

:45:25. > :45:57.# I am on my way, meet me there. # please, come along, tied back your

:45:58. > :46:01.hair. # after all the people picking,

:46:02. > :46:19.people picking people apart, my love. Fantastic. That was a

:46:20. > :46:24.brilliant track from his debut solo album First Mind. Over on the

:46:25. > :46:53.Pyramid Stage we have Caro Emerald. # I feel a little lazy.

:46:54. > :46:58.To live in the hotel, it is heaven and it is hell, I do not know where

:46:59. > :47:06.I stand. # there is a rumour flying in the

:47:07. > :47:14.air. I am dating everyman, white can they not understand my life is not a

:47:15. > :47:24.mess? # even if the words are untrue.

:47:25. > :47:32.# I say to them for ever it is overdue. Don't wait. Because when I

:47:33. > :47:45.fall in love, you will see the moon and every star declare it from

:47:46. > :47:56.above. One day, the world will feel a spark, feel it in the day and in

:47:57. > :48:04.the dark, the day it is really love. # so now I am in a prison. That I

:48:05. > :48:09.put up myself. # when papers start a fire, it is

:48:10. > :48:17.started by a liar that is crying out for help.

:48:18. > :48:28.# I walk out into the lobby. It is one day in the life, but it cuts

:48:29. > :48:37.like a knife. Nobody gets the last. # even if the words are all untrue,

:48:38. > :48:43.I say to them, for ever, what is overdue?

:48:44. > :48:53.# don't wait, because when I fall in love, you will see the moon and

:48:54. > :49:02.every star declare it from above. # one day, the world will feel a

:49:03. > :49:15.spark. Feel it in the day and in the dark. The day it is really love.

:49:16. > :49:37.# when I am blue, or feeling sad, I am immune to any thing they do. #

:49:38. > :49:48.SHE SCAT SINGS. # don't wait, because when I fall in

:49:49. > :50:00.love, you will see the moon and every star declare it from above.

:50:01. > :50:12.One day the world will feel a spark. Feel it in the day and in the dark,

:50:13. > :50:18.the day it is really love. APPLAUSE thank you so much. Good afternoon,

:50:19. > :50:22.Glastonbury. Well, I never dream and I would ever say that in my

:50:23. > :50:30.lifetime. I am going to say it again. Good afternoon, Glastonbury!

:50:31. > :50:35.I know you have just woken up. You must have. We are here to wake you

:50:36. > :50:39.up. We are going to help you by playing groovy songs and we are

:50:40. > :50:54.going to try and make you never forget about us. I hope you enjoyed

:50:55. > :51:16.it. So, here is that the sun to come out. It is called breezy air of

:51:17. > :51:20.life. # I am really tired of my concrete jungle. I am going to make

:51:21. > :51:31.the great escape and go on a little way. I can get my motor, started up

:51:32. > :51:36.and Headford the green. An endless countryside and go somewhere I have

:51:37. > :51:50.never been. # kiss my blues goodbye, I'll start.

:51:51. > :52:12.Thank you for today. I am sure that by candlelight I will be all right.

:52:13. > :52:18.# Yeah. # it cleared my face so I could feel

:52:19. > :52:29.the breeze. Mr, I do not know a soul. # I will drop off the keys,

:52:30. > :52:39.look out of my window Bay. I would not want it any other way.

:52:40. > :52:46.Kiss my blues goodbye. Read until I see the crazy nights. Breathing in

:52:47. > :52:52.the air of life. Thank you for today.

:52:53. > :53:12.# I am sure that by candlelight I will be all right. Breathing in the

:53:13. > :53:23.air of life. Yeah. # so whenever my eyes get weary and I I am feeling

:53:24. > :53:34.what life brings, for ever, when times are teary, I have nothing left

:53:35. > :53:58.to lose. Ladies and gentlemen, please give it

:53:59. > :54:09.up for Robert! # I will kiss my blues goodbye. Breathing in the air

:54:47. > :54:56.APPLAUSE thank you so much. I do not know about these heels. They are

:54:57. > :55:08.really pretty. It is not comfortable at all. I am really guessing you

:55:09. > :55:15.have had a few of these over the past days, or maybe even just now

:55:16. > :55:16.you have already started. You have a little bit of a reputation for a

:55:17. > :55:26.liquid lunch. # Baby, pass the aspirin,

:55:27. > :55:40.something's gotta work # I know I did it to myself

:55:41. > :55:43.but, man-oh-man, it hurts # That second last Martini,

:56:18. > :56:20.it's the last time # I think I've got the symptoms

:56:21. > :56:28.and none of them will leave # They think that it's a party

:56:29. > :56:33.to laugh at all my grief # It must've been a doozy,

:56:34. > :56:36.I had 200 dreams # At least I found my pillow
