:00:18. > :00:22.The missing cows. They go into their beds. Toi, a spa. They do serve

:00:23. > :00:24.hamburgers here right? They're very comfortable. They're being dead lazy

:00:25. > :00:49.somewhere. Hello there. Here we are, to do it

:00:50. > :00:52.all one last time. It's the final night of Glastonbury 2014. Our

:00:53. > :00:55.headliners must be pretty excited right now. They've played the

:00:56. > :00:59.festival four times before, but their fifth is going to be the first

:01:00. > :01:02.time headlining the Pyramid Stage. Kasabian have said after this show

:01:03. > :01:06.they will be able to die happy. It's literally a dream come true. Before

:01:07. > :01:10.we see them playing live on that there stage, let's find out a little

:01:11. > :01:20.bit about the journey it too them to get here.

:01:21. > :01:26.Leicester City 1997 an 18-year-old wannabe rock star falls to his knees

:01:27. > :01:32.and yells... That was Glastonbury. Tom. The front man of the mighty

:01:33. > :01:37.Kasabian, arguably one of the best live acts around. Tonight, they

:01:38. > :01:46.headline the Pyramid Stage. Performing together with SergePisono

:01:47. > :01:52.the band performed under the short-lived name of Syracuse. They

:01:53. > :01:56.renamed themselves Kasabian they took on great British rock and too

:01:57. > :02:04.took it into the millennium with a swagger all their own.

:02:05. > :02:10.And the release of their 2004 debut album gave them an instant fan base.

:02:11. > :02:14.After an 11am booking at Glastonbury in 2004, they were promoted to an

:02:15. > :02:18.evening slot on the other stage the following year. It was the first

:02:19. > :02:21.realisation we had connected with people. It was these people wanted

:02:22. > :02:29.to see our band play. You realise that's all that matters. In 2006,

:02:30. > :02:35.their album Empire sold over a million copies and stormed to number

:02:36. > :02:44.one, bringing a steady release of anthems that defined their same. In

:02:45. > :02:49.2009, the catchily named West Rider Lunatic Asylum reached number one.

:02:50. > :02:52.It gave us lock locks from Tom, the classic Fire and brought them one

:02:53. > :03:01.step closer to being Pyramid headliners. In 2009 we played fire,

:03:02. > :03:06.because it was delayed at the back, there was a weird sea of jumping and

:03:07. > :03:13.Tom's strawberry jacket... And the long hair. It's unparalleled. Two

:03:14. > :03:17.years later and another number one album, Kasabian cemented their

:03:18. > :03:22.reputation as being one of the must-see live acts of their

:03:23. > :03:26.generationment A decade on from the release of

:03:27. > :03:38.their first record they find themselves at the top again. Finally

:03:39. > :03:42.their dream of headlining the Pyramid Stage is here. The nerves

:03:43. > :03:47.are kicking in. This has made it worse. Can't be scared of it. Have

:03:48. > :03:49.you to embrace a moment. If you get it right, you can go to places you

:03:50. > :04:02.never thought possible. # Get them a message,

:04:03. > :06:09.a message from me # I'm caught up in love

:46:39. > :46:43.That was The Wailers. Just, I think really showing the breadth of music

:46:44. > :46:46.and the genre and the variety you get here at Glastonbury that was on

:46:47. > :46:51.the West Holt stage earlier today Time is running out for us. We have

:46:52. > :46:56.time for our final acoustic performance here in our special

:46:57. > :46:59.studio at this year's grass tonbury. Someone born in Beirut but now based

:47:00. > :50:48.in Paris. This is Yasmine Hamdam. That was Yasmine Hamdam. That's the

:50:49. > :50:53.final of our live performances had here at Glastonbury. Nearly gone.

:50:54. > :50:57.Every year there is someone who really surprises you. Someone you

:50:58. > :51:02.were aware of but you have not realised how on the cusp of

:51:03. > :51:07.greatness. Who is it from you? The time just fitted as I was walking

:51:08. > :51:09.past. It was Ellie Goulding. To be honest, she blew me away and here is

:51:10. > :51:39.why. # You look at me,

:51:40. > :51:47.it's like you hit me with lightning # Like paper planes

:51:48. > :52:24.and playground games # You look at me,

:52:25. > :54:52.it's like you hit me with lightning smashed it. She very much did. That

:54:53. > :54:56.was Ellie Goulding on The Other Stage. For me, I tell you someone I

:54:57. > :54:59.was impressed with, Ed Sheeran. Everyone knows he is massively

:55:00. > :55:04.successful at the moment. He went on stage after Dolly Parton. Obviously

:55:05. > :55:09.she had the biggest crowd I have ever seen And a big band. He walks

:55:10. > :55:13.out on stage and it is just him but he held on to the audience. They

:55:14. > :55:19.were singing along with every word. He is very clever. He sent a video

:55:20. > :55:24.message to Mike Hibbs. What a gent. The highlights for you, then? Well,

:55:25. > :55:29.I remember the thunderstorm on Friday afternoon and Fisherman's

:55:30. > :55:34.Friend singing acousticically in the acoustic tent. It has gone so

:55:35. > :55:39.quickly. It doesn't seem five minutes sin I saw Blondie first band

:55:40. > :55:44.on the The Other Stage on Friday. Dolly was a massive moment. There

:55:45. > :55:47.haven't been many moments but Sam Smith was great. Bombay Bicycle

:55:48. > :55:51.Club, you could see them growing into the set they had. They played

:55:52. > :55:56.on The Other Stage. They were great. It has been rocky. A year of rock

:55:57. > :56:01.here. We should tell you about a if you things. If you go to the BBC

:56:02. > :56:06.iPlayer, you can see highlights. And the website has things. There is a

:56:07. > :56:11.high lites programme on Friday, 4th July at 11.00pm. These are

:56:12. > :56:17.Glastonbury's best bits. We will see you next year. We have done quite a

:56:18. > :56:22.few of these together. . Veterans, I think it is what they call it. I

:56:23. > :56:26.hope you enjoyed it, see you next year.

:56:27. > :56:32.# Here you come again # Just when I'd begun to get myself

:56:33. > :56:35.together # You waltzed right in the door

:56:36. > :56:40.# Just like you did before # And you wrapped my heart around

:56:41. > :56:47.your little finger # Here you come again job just when

:56:48. > :56:55.I'm about to make it work without you

:56:56. > :56:59.# You look into my eyes # And I pretty soon I'm wondering

:57:00. > :57:06.how I came to doubt you # All you've got to do is smile that

:57:07. > :57:10.smile and there go all my defences # Just leave it up to you

:57:11. > :57:15.# And in a little while # You are messing up my mind

:57:16. > :57:24.# Filling up my senses # Here you come again

:57:25. > :57:26.# Oh looking better than a body has a right to

:57:27. > :57:31.# And shaking me up so # That all I really know

:57:32. > :57:51.# Is here you come again # And here I go

:57:52. > :57:58.# Awful' got to do is smile that smile

:57:59. > :58:03.# And there go all my defences # Just leave it up to you

:58:42. > :58:45.# Here I go. # Here you come again

:58:46. > :58:57.# Darling here you come again # Here you come again

:58:58. > :59:02.# And here you come again # Here I go #
