:20:00. > :20:07.# I never knew if I could face myself to change
:20:08. > :20:13.# You were pacing, I was insecure # Slip and fall, I got the calls

:20:21. > :20:22.# Yeah, yeah, and I'm all right # I took a sip of something poisoned
:20:23. > :21:18.but I'll hold on tight # Yeah, yeah, and it's OK
:21:19. > :21:21.# I tie my hands up to a chair so I don't fall that way
:21:22. > :21:28.# Yeah, yeah, and I'm all right # I took a sip of something poisoned
:21:29. > :21:33.# But I hold on tight # Yeah, yeah, it's OK
:21:34. > :21:36.# I tie my hands up to a chair so I don't fall that way
:21:37. > :21:39.# Yeah, yeah, I'm all right # I took a sip of something poisoned
:21:40. > :22:21.# Took a sip of something poisoned APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Well,
:22:22. > :22:29.that looked like so much fun from earlier today. That was the brim --
:22:30. > :22:33.brilliant Foster The People. Live to The Other Stage and this is Paolo
:22:34. > :22:39.Nutini who will be here shortly. Everything's been a bit messed up
:22:40. > :22:48.today. There was an electrical storm, the power went out. Didn't
:22:49. > :22:53.know if we would be on TV today? Any highlights? I was watching earlier,
:22:54. > :22:57.the tent wasn't massively busy, time to leave and turned around and
:22:58. > :23:04.couldn't move. So many people behind me. My highlight was De La Soul. A
:23:05. > :23:08.lot of artists you wouldn't get a chance to see them and they put
:23:09. > :23:12.these artists on and they were on The Pyramid Stage today and there
:23:13. > :23:17.was a security guard in the front row who wasn't putting his hands up.
:23:18. > :23:22.Everybody was going puts your hands up! They singled this guy out. He
:23:23. > :23:29.was stood there going. And eventually everyone was going, 242!
:23:30. > :23:34.Suddenly he goes. Everybody goes yes! You can see that on the BBC
:23:35. > :23:41.Glastonbury website. You can stream all the stages, as well. Another
:23:42. > :23:45.band I saw today Haim. I think we had a moment. We didn't explain your
:23:46. > :23:49.face earlier. Is your face normally like that? I was on The Other Stage
:23:50. > :23:53.and it wasn't the weirdest face on that stage. We did the bass face to
:23:54. > :23:58.her face today. You know the band well, would they have been annoyed
:23:59. > :24:02.at that? Not at all. They're fun-time girls. Sometimes you
:24:03. > :24:05.interview a band and they're like, ha-ha! And they just leave and
:24:06. > :24:10.they're not actually that nice in real life. But with Haim what you
:24:11. > :24:16.see is 100% what you get. They're the most fun. Coming occupy we will
:24:17. > :24:20.have Paolo Nutini live from the Other Stage. We are just waiting,
:24:21. > :24:25.still loads of stuff tonight... He is probably getting into that shirt
:24:26. > :24:29.Gemma gave him. No, he put that in the bin. As we said there is so much
:24:30. > :24:34.to get your teeth into on the BBC. We have all the red button stuff
:24:35. > :24:36.going on. Plus, you can go to the website and stream all of those
:24:37. > :24:40.stages we talked about earlier. Really you can just do whatever you
:24:41. > :24:47.like. You can watch stuff on your tablets and that stuff, as well.
:24:48. > :24:54.Also The Introducing Stage. A cheeky plug, amazing bands on Sunday. Three
:24:55. > :25:01.incredible bands to check out. Hello to Steve who says, how have I not
:25:02. > :25:06.discovered Foster The People? Also, you are rocking us on our sofa at
:25:07. > :25:10.home to Foster The People, that is. Charlotte, the coverage is just
:25:11. > :25:15.brilliant. I feel like I am there with you. And also, this guy Adam
:25:16. > :25:21.says, no World Cup football tonight but thank God for Kaiser Chiefs at
:25:22. > :25:25.Glastonbury, they've saved my day. Over the next couple of days loads
:25:26. > :25:30.of brilliant stuff and we have Sunday and Ellie Goulding who will
:25:31. > :25:34.be on. These people love coming back to Glastonbury. What is it about
:25:35. > :25:38.this place? It's not just a Festival, it's everything else, as
:25:39. > :25:43.well. It's the atmosphere, the music, the people, the weird little
:25:44. > :25:47.tents and performing arts. But also so many people are here that it's
:25:48. > :25:54.like a birthday party. You go and you see all your mates, you are
:25:55. > :25:57.like, all right, hi! And everyone is up for a good time, doesn't matter
:25:58. > :26:04.what you are watching or where you are, there is something to do.
:26:05. > :26:07.Kaiser Chiefs have had a big day, they started the whole Festival, a
:26:08. > :26:11.band gets the job of opening the Festival, they were first on,
:26:12. > :26:16.they've had a lock day. They've been away -- a long day. They've been
:26:17. > :26:19.away a bit. And they're back on headlining The John Peel Stage
:26:20. > :26:25.tonight which is a big deal for them. The great thing about them is
:26:26. > :26:30.they'll have a crowd there who found them through seeing Ricky on The
:26:31. > :26:35.Voice and the old school indie fans 2004 era when you were in a disco as
:26:36. > :26:42.a student or whatever dancing to, oh, my God, I can't believe it! But
:26:43. > :26:49.it's nostalgia and current and new. Arcade Fire later. I am going to
:26:50. > :26:53.watch the Kaiser Chiefs, and I am happy, you are going to see Arcade
:26:54. > :27:00.Fire and I am jealous of you. They've earned that slot, you know
:27:01. > :27:04.what, they've gone we are ready for the Pyramid Stage. For them to do
:27:05. > :27:11.that tonight is a big deal for them. The great thing about Arcade Fire is
:27:12. > :27:14.they span a huge awry, they're going to put on a show. They draw
:27:15. > :27:18.influences from different places. My favourite member is a guy called
:27:19. > :27:26.Richard who I saw a couple of years ago do a performance called Hearts
:27:27. > :27:29.and Breaths, him and a group of musicians and they did this thing
:27:30. > :27:33.and performed this piece of music together and instead of playing it a
:27:34. > :27:42.track or something they were playing to the sound of their own heartbeat
:27:43. > :27:47.with stethoscopes on. Over this piece they fell into time. It was
:27:48. > :27:51.amazing. Paolo Nutini is coming up, we promise you. We have a few
:27:52. > :27:55.technical problems at the moment. You can see there is The Other
:27:56. > :27:59.Stage. Everyone is waiting for him to be on stage. Everything's been
:28:00. > :28:02.delayed because of the storm from today. We will get to Paolo Nutini
:28:03. > :28:08.very shortly. Looking back, you have been to Glastonbury a few times.
:28:09. > :28:15.Have you got a favourite moment, a headliner, a favourite moment? What
:28:16. > :28:20.have you liked at this Festival? On The Introducing Stage Daughter last
:28:21. > :28:24.year was special. All the kind of like, had gone to see them play, and
:28:25. > :28:28.they played the Introducing Stage and there was hardly anyone in
:28:29. > :28:32.there, it was so silent and quiet. You knew that every person in that
:28:33. > :28:38.tent was a massive fan. It made it feel so much more like electric.
:28:39. > :28:42.Also my first ever Glastonbury was brilliant too. We are going to go to
:28:43. > :29:24.The Other Stage now, because Paolo Nutini is ready to go. Enjoy.
:29:25. > :29:46.# How was I to know you'd just come along?
:29:47. > :29:55.# She's the bass, she's the beat She's the rhythm, she's the band
:29:56. > :30:10.# Sly hands, spinning webs like silk
:30:11. > :30:18.# Beats are dripping on me, like spider milk
:30:19. > :30:21.# And I never heard the warning when I woke up this morning
:30:22. > :30:28.# She's my rock, she's my bud, she's tequila, she's a trip
:30:29. > :30:48.# I said the only way I win is the way I lose
:30:49. > :30:52.# And I never got the script I unzipped
:30:53. > :30:56.# Got a little bit wet up in my brain
:30:57. > :30:57.# She's your church, she's your sin
:30:58. > :31:07.# She's the oh She's the rain
:31:08. > :31:29.# She gets me silly She's like a trick on me
:31:30. > :31:35.# And in the climax she would scream with me
:31:36. > :31:40.# She gets me funny, she doesn't want none of my money
:31:41. > :31:42.# So I pour it over her like gasoline
:31:43. > :31:45.# Light a match and then I'm back in my teens
:31:46. > :31:46.# Me and super girl smoking my green
:31:47. > :31:52.# Unload, reload Eyes back swinging
:31:53. > :31:58.# Sweet thing, knows things Jeff Beck sings
:31:59. > :32:02.# Roundhouse, going down Let's go!
:32:03. > :33:06.# Yeah, the girl, so fine You wanna scream. #
:33:07. > :34:14.# There was no sweeter fruit than this
:34:15. > :37:40.# While the rain came a-tumbling down
:37:41. > :41:46.It's such a pleasure to be back here in this field. Playing for you
:41:47. > :42:04.beautiful people. Let's hope the rain stays away.
:42:05. > :42:53.# I kiss the sky to send her blue a letter
:42:54. > :43:14.# Gonna treat her like a real man can
:43:15. > :43:38.# She's got me feeling so much better
:43:39. > :43:43.# Oh, you trade all the money in the world
:43:44. > :44:02.# All the while, she'll make you feel so much better
:44:03. > :44:16.# Oh that girl, makes me wanna be a better man
:44:17. > :44:28.# Sure she sees, gonna treat her like a real man can
:44:29. > :46:25.# I said that girl makes me wanna be a better man
:46:26. > :46:29.# Sure she see she fit, gonna treat her like a real man can
:46:30. > :47:08.# Gonna treat her like a real man can
:47:09. > :48:07.I just want to say thank you to Gemma for my Glastonbury shirt.
:48:08. > :48:39.# And all the corners of our pictures
:48:40. > :48:57.# They still symbolize what you mean to me
:48:58. > :49:11.# Well I'd be a fool to want more from you
:49:12. > :49:40.# I'll cry and you'll cry and we'll cry
:49:41. > :49:54.# And the devil moves and clings to us
:49:55. > :50:11.# Sometimes it feels like it's all I've gotten
:50:12. > :50:25.# Like you'd be a fool to want more from me
:50:26. > :51:32.# And promises captured in one kiss
:51:33. > :51:38.# We hide and we seek and we squander
:51:39. > :54:12.# The evil eyed leads a curious fight
:54:13. > :54:15.# And even angels can get caught in the end
:54:16. > :54:19.# With their halos round their throat
:54:20. > :54:29.# Part time lovin' on the primitive still
:54:30. > :54:32.# Two glass mantras on a hook, on a rail
:54:33. > :54:44.# Seems like I'm doing the same old shit
:54:45. > :55:10.# Yeah, you should taste her majesty
:55:11. > :55:48.# And all the rest seems circumstantial
:55:49. > :55:53.# Scattered across a less predictable stage
:55:54. > :55:56.# Scrambled softly, they're all over your plate
:55:57. > :56:11.# Seems like I'm doing the same old shit
:56:12. > :56:48.# Just like a crow, it comes and goes
