:01:03. > :01:07.Glastonbury Festival, hearing quite glorious Somerset. Look at this

:01:08. > :01:11.weather. Bathed in sunshine, it's beautiful, it's been a great day

:01:12. > :01:15.here, is always running the full musical gamut from Thundercat right

:01:16. > :01:21.through the Craig David who killed it on the Pyramid Stage. Closely

:01:22. > :01:25.followed by Jeremy Corbyn. It's been quite a day and we're going to be

:01:26. > :01:29.bringing you as much of the action as possible. Later on the night

:01:30. > :01:32.you'll see Katy Perry and also the headline is on the Pyramid Stage,

:01:33. > :01:38.Foo Fighters. But now, we have something quite lovely for you. Yes,

:01:39. > :01:41.we do. We are going to check out some action from the Pyramid Stage

:01:42. > :01:46.in a few minutes' time with Jools Holland and his orchestra but before

:03:31. > :03:34.near my foot yet. It's been welly free so far, but I feel that's the

:03:35. > :03:38.one area where I am superstitious. You need to bring your waterproofs,

:03:39. > :03:43.just in case. I caught up with Jools Holland earlier today. He hadn't

:03:44. > :03:47.brought any. It was slightly worried. The rain that was starting

:03:48. > :03:51.at the beginning of his set, the clouds parted and it was sunshine

:03:52. > :03:58.all round. This is Jools Holland and his orchestra and Ruby Turner and

:21:40. > :22:07.# Saying why were you creeping around late last night

:22:08. > :22:11.I been doing this since I was 16 Been a few years let's call it 16

:22:12. > :22:14.A brand new flow for 2016 Seen it's like I'm living a dream

:22:15. > :22:16.1999 when I first came on the scene Skinny young breh

:22:17. > :22:19.from out of Southampton With a bunch of melodies for days,

:22:20. > :22:22.Lean and mean, embodied the whole scene

:22:23. > :22:23.Packing on muscle like bars of protein

:22:24. > :22:25.Crushing every microphone that I be holding

:22:26. > :22:30.'Cos you know I be training dirty but same time keeping it clean

:22:31. > :22:35.# Glastonbury, can I break it down? # Let me break this down

:22:36. > :22:41.# Can I break it on down? # Whenever the coast was clear

:22:42. > :22:45.and she'd ask me to come out # I'd say, "Hey, girl,

:22:46. > :22:47.come on right around" # I was standing with the keys

:22:48. > :22:52.in my hand to the 4x4 # Jumped in my ride,

:22:53. > :22:54.checkin' that nobody saw # We got down bounced

:22:55. > :22:57.bounced to the rhythm # So I gave you my

:23:12. > :23:14.young people in love do # Parents tryna find

:23:15. > :23:16.out what we were up to # Saying why can't you keep

:23:17. > :23:35.your promises no more # Why were you creeping round?

:23:36. > :23:40.# Can you fill me in? # Why were you creeping, why were

:23:41. > :23:42.you creeping round? # Ken Duke fill me in?

:23:43. > :24:34.# Why, why were you creeping round? Craig David, and the Craig Davies

:24:35. > :24:38.renaissance absolutely killing it on the pyramid stage to the biggest

:24:39. > :24:45.crowd of the day. -- Craig David renaissance. Maybe even more than

:24:46. > :24:54.Radiohead last night? Who knows. Smokers whos. You can't have

:24:55. > :24:55.everything. -- but no Cazorlas. Next, a magical mystery tour of the

:24:56. > :25:07.Glastonbury site. Two days before the gates open, we

:25:08. > :25:11.have a number of tours going round the site that Michael Foster and I

:25:12. > :25:16.help out for some of the more senior members of the community, so this

:25:17. > :25:22.morning we've got the Happy Circle from Pilton. I've been in the

:25:23. > :25:32.village for over 150 years, my family, so we are local people. We

:25:33. > :25:36.were here in the first place. My name is Rodney. I've lived in the

:25:37. > :25:42.village for over 40 years. I've been here since it started, but driving

:25:43. > :25:51.the coach, I expect 22 years. Part of the scenery, really. It's almost

:25:52. > :25:56.two and a half miles east to west and a mile north to south, but I

:25:57. > :26:01.think what fascinates them is the scale of the organisation. I know

:26:02. > :26:02.all of these people. That's good, isn't it?

:26:03. > :26:11.LAUGHTER Oh, here we are again. Right-hand

:26:12. > :26:17.side, campsites as far as you can see. The John Peel tent. It's all

:26:18. > :26:24.trendy, and I'm not that trendy any more. Well, that is a matter of

:26:25. > :26:29.opinion, I suppose! Driving down towards the main arena. Ed Sheeran,

:26:30. > :26:37.the world number one star at the moment. Such history to all of this.

:26:38. > :26:48.We don't see much of you any more, Phyllis. Are you all there? Are you

:26:49. > :26:53.losing your brain? No, I'm not! Can I take your hand? Yes, but you need

:26:54. > :27:05.to catch me. Are you all right, Cathy? Yes, see you later. Well

:27:06. > :27:09.done, John. Hello, Frida. Hello! I don't know who you are, but...

:27:10. > :27:17.LAUGHTER We had cupcakes. Ice cream.

:27:18. > :27:24.Chocolate bars. Tea, coffee or a cold drink. It started with just a

:27:25. > :27:27.minibus to get the villagers to see what it was like down here, and now

:27:28. > :27:32.we've got 57 seats and every year it's getting more. They like to come

:27:33. > :27:42.and have a look. They can't get about too often.

:27:43. > :27:51.This is one field where nothing happens. People come and sit on the

:27:52. > :27:55.grass. There was a tall, skinny, stark naked man hugging one of those

:27:56. > :28:05.stones. You don't see that all of the time! We are thankful to Michael

:28:06. > :28:09.for taking us on a trip today. Thank you, Michael. This is Michael's

:28:10. > :28:16.family, home and village, and these are his friends. That's why it

:28:17. > :28:21.started. Please join me in giving a big round of applause and a big

:28:22. > :28:33.thank you. Lovely to see you all and to still be able to do it.

:28:34. > :28:39.Oh, lovely Michael Eavis, giving those guys a tour of the site

:28:40. > :28:43.earlier in the week, before the madness began. It all started with

:28:44. > :28:49.tea and cakes and calmness, but I was out with quite a lot of them

:28:50. > :28:51.last night in a lot of them are still at block nine. Absolutely

:28:52. > :28:55.hard-core, you've got to respect that. We are going to head to the

:28:56. > :28:59.west hold stage and the wonderful jazz odyssey that Thundercat was

:29:00. > :29:13.bringing to the stage earlier. # Nobody move, there's

:29:14. > :29:38.blood on the floor # So please give it back,

:29:39. > :29:55.'cause it's not yours to take! # It must've fell

:29:56. > :30:00.when I lost my mind # Deep in the cut,

:30:01. > :30:05.drowning in a pain # Somebody help 'cause

:30:06. > :30:33.I can't find my way Put your hands up, Glastonbury!

:30:34. > :30:39.Yeah! Keep your hands up! Here we go!

:30:40. > :30:43.# Somebody tell me how I'm supposed to feel

:30:44. > :30:48.# When I'm sitting here knowing this ain't real

:30:49. > :30:53.# Why in the world would I give my heart to you?

:30:54. > :30:59.# Just to watch you throw it in the trash

:31:00. > :31:03.# I've been traveling so long, I don't think I can hold on

:31:04. > :31:09.# Where were you when I needed you the most?

:31:10. > :31:14.# Now I'm sitting here with a black hole in my chest

:31:15. > :33:05.# So please give it back, 'cause it's not yours to take!

:33:06. > :33:11.# It must've fell when I lost my mind

:33:12. > :33:15.# Deep in the cut, drowning in a pain

:33:16. > :33:21.# Somebody help 'cause I can't find my way

:33:22. > :33:44.Thundercat up at the stage earlier today. You can catch up on

:33:45. > :33:50.performances on the iPlayer. The easiest way to do it as check out

:33:51. > :33:54.the website. Bbc.co.uk/ Glastonbury, whether you want to look at the live

:33:55. > :33:58.streams, or sets that have already been on. I've got to check it out, I

:33:59. > :34:06.love that guy. Right now we're going to catch up with Yasser, who's been

:34:07. > :34:10.experiencing some poetry here at Glastonbury. I'm here at the poetry

:34:11. > :34:15.and word stage, a stage that started off other small yurt and now it's a

:34:16. > :34:21.massive stage. Helen, one of the organisers, is here. This is cool,

:34:22. > :34:25.isn't it? It's awesome. You've got poetry, world renowned poets coming

:34:26. > :34:31.down? We have an international line-up. We've had poets from New

:34:32. > :34:36.Zealand, Botswana, America, everyone from Carolann Duffy the Kate

:34:37. > :34:42.Tempest. Incredible. One of your poets and residences here. Hello,

:34:43. > :34:48.Dominic. Hello. Poet in residence is a cool title. It's great, I love it.

:34:49. > :34:52.Can you give is a little something? Yes.

:34:53. > :35:06.I can't change that and I've been dealt, it's limp as watercress. I

:35:07. > :35:13.hate being Eddisbury, anything but that, and so Mike Weir desires --

:35:14. > :35:19.might queer desires I keep under lettuce wraps. But like any iceberg

:35:20. > :35:23.most of me is still concealed. Prefer asparagus too real. The only

:35:24. > :35:28.blood I suck is from Orange. It sends me to Nirvana. In my bedroom,

:35:29. > :35:35.under quilt, I'm peeling my... Banana. It's time to pop my cherry.

:35:36. > :35:48.It's time to dance and shout. Yes, I am a beacon! And I am coming out! --

:35:49. > :35:52.I am at vegan. I am coming out. Glastonbury is probably the most

:35:53. > :35:58.vegan friendly place on the honest. I've had 47 De La Souls since I've

:35:59. > :36:04.been here. A poet about being a vegan is very much Glastonbury. I --

:36:05. > :36:08.its spitting. I said don't wear wellies, you will need one. It's

:36:09. > :36:13.spitting, it's spitting. It's all over. OK, we are going to experience

:36:14. > :36:14.some more music now. We are heading over to the Other Stage and catch up

:36:15. > :36:46.with the Kaiser Chiefs. # Do you wish you hadn't

:36:47. > :36:48.stayed all night? # Do you wish you hadn't

:36:49. > :36:49.gotten so high? # Do you wish

:36:50. > :36:56.it wasn't half past gone? # Do you wish

:36:57. > :36:59.you didn't last that long? # And we're dancing

:37:00. > :37:58.on the finest line # Between the chance of

:37:59. > :38:00.the time of our lives # And we're choosing not to

:38:01. > :38:08.make that choice # But we have a lot of fun on the

:38:09. > :38:16.way # So I'm standing beside you,

:38:17. > :38:30.standing beside you # Then it all

:38:31. > :39:20.comes flooding back to me # Like a forgotten melody

:39:21. > :39:24.from a dream # Then it all comes

:39:25. > :39:26.flooding back to me # Like a forgotten melody

:39:27. > :39:29.from a dream # Then it all

:39:30. > :39:33.comes flooding back to me # Walking through town

:39:34. > :41:39.is quite scary # He looked the wrong way

:41:40. > :41:48.at a policeman # Would never have happened

:56:58. > :57:40.forever baby The Amazons. We've heard plenty of

:57:41. > :57:43.sounds and we have seen a few sites and we have also had some smells,

:57:44. > :57:49.but we are trying to give you the full experience. What a bad taste?

:57:50. > :57:56.We are great to out. Glastonbury is the best bands but also the best

:57:57. > :58:00.snacks. What has been your highlight? A Cornish woman gave me a

:58:01. > :58:08.protein ball and, I must say, it kept me going. I enjoyed a cheese

:58:09. > :58:13.toasty last night. A bit of pesto and a bit of ham. Here is James

:58:14. > :58:20.finding out more about the food on offer. There is nothing quite like

:58:21. > :58:22.getting your boogie on to work up an appetite but leading 200,000

:58:23. > :58:26.festivalgoers is massive, and the heart of it is behind this secret

:58:27. > :58:36.gate. -- feeding 200,000 festivalgoers. Where are we?

:58:37. > :58:43.Wholesale, where we supply all the traders and keep people happy. Shall

:58:44. > :58:48.we have a look? Yeah. How is that courgette? It is firm. Feel the

:58:49. > :58:55.weight on that! And a good girth. Flat leaf parsley. I have heard

:58:56. > :59:01.there are a lot of herbs at Glastonbury. The range of produce is

:59:02. > :59:04.incredible. You can have everything from across the world 24/7. It's a

:59:05. > :59:11.city the size of Swindon and everybody needs to eat. Family

:59:12. > :59:19.traders are on site? 514 food traders. What tips would you give?

:59:20. > :59:21.We are looking for a nice product that is colourful and eye-catching

:59:22. > :59:28.in keeping with the festival at a good price. What is the most unusual

:59:29. > :59:34.application you've had from a trader? This year we've got vegan

:59:35. > :59:39.jackfruit and the Mexican Brito stall. They also do a spin on fish

:59:40. > :59:45.made from Hoffman. That is to spend thousands of people on site. It is a

:59:46. > :59:51.side of the operation people maybe don't say. All of the food gets

:59:52. > :00:01.eaten out here. Let's see what culinary delights Glastonbury has to

:00:02. > :00:12.offer. Home fried tortilla chips with barbecue pulled jackfruit. A

:00:13. > :00:19.big amount of jackfruit. It's good. This is the toadfish taco, tofu with

:00:20. > :00:36.seaweed on it. This will blow your mind. It was called fresh this

:00:37. > :00:41.morning! -- it was caught. Curries, stir-fries, salads. Not bad. In

:00:42. > :00:47.English stir-fry with barley. It's meant to be a healthy dish. I've

:00:48. > :00:53.been here 31 years. People know if they come to sell food they've got

:00:54. > :00:56.to try and do something a bit different, or at least well,

:00:57. > :00:57.home-made, locally produced. Those things are brownie points if you

:00:58. > :01:10.want to get on at Glastonbury. Nice to meet you. What's happening

:01:11. > :01:18.here, what are you making? Have you made this type of bread? As a first

:01:19. > :01:23.time for everything. Do you use a lot of stuff from the wholesale

:01:24. > :01:27.market? I every order everything in bulk. You need that back-up because

:01:28. > :01:32.there's so much going on. So an operation like this can only really

:01:33. > :01:38.happen at a festival like Glastonbury? Yes. Lets get our buns

:01:39. > :01:43.in the oven. Look at those beauties, all sizzling. How organic does not

:01:44. > :01:51.look? And all made in a field in Glastonbury. All made in a field,

:01:52. > :01:56.good, honest food. I've had food that tastes like meat, a great

:01:57. > :02:00.British stir-fry, and a bun in the oven. I still fancy a bit of desert.

:02:01. > :02:12.An ice cream! Forget that. You know when you watch the Great

:02:13. > :02:17.British Bake Off and you're like, I need a cake now. You bobbin

:02:18. > :02:21.famished! I'm starving, I've never eaten food before. After watching

:02:22. > :02:28.that, I need all of that right now, please. You are desperate for some

:02:29. > :02:32.of that fish. Just gagging for it. Can we get some? While we do that

:02:33. > :02:37.we're going to play use the music. This is British Sea Power earlier

:02:38. > :02:42.today. A warning, this contains a filthy polar bear.

:07:23. > :07:25.Yasser, experiencing some Glastonbury magic. We are here in

:07:26. > :07:29.the theatre and circus feel. It's pretty manic at the moment. We have

:07:46. > :07:49.Let me try this. That's better, isn't it. Let's try something else,

:07:50. > :07:53.really quickly. I've only got a few of these national lottery tickets.

:07:54. > :07:56.These are the slightly older ones. These are not winning once. They are

:07:57. > :08:01.tattered. I've found an amazing thing to do with these bits of

:08:02. > :08:06.paper. One, two, you can change that into cash. Oh, my gosh! Can you do

:08:35. > :08:38.APPLAUSE What's going on? That's really

:08:39. > :08:46.weird. That's really strange. Back to you guys, in the studio.

:08:47. > :08:54.Yasser, quite literally in the field. Magic, magic. We are going to

:08:55. > :08:58.check out another bit of magic, vocal magic, from Sigrid, who is

:08:59. > :09:04.super talented. She is 19 years old and comes from that place that
