:03:10. > :03:13.a flavour of what has been going on, it has been dry, we haven't needed

:03:20. > :03:22.what, I sort of miss the mud. You massive idiots, it has been

:03:23. > :03:25.brilliant to walk around the site and enjoy it all. People get

:03:26. > :03:31.superstitious about the weather, they say we just want a bit of

:03:32. > :03:35.spitting, just to get the dust down. No, none of that, sunshine all the

:04:18. > :04:19.# Maybe I'm foolish, maybe I'm blind

:04:20. > :04:21.# Thinking I can see through this and see what's behind

:04:22. > :04:23.# Got no way to prove it so maybe I'm blind

:04:24. > :04:33.# But I'm only human after all, I'm only human after all

:04:34. > :04:45.# Take a look in the mirror and what do you see

:04:46. > :04:50.# Do you see it clearer or are you deceived

:04:51. > :04:59.# Cos I'm only human after all, you're only human after all

:05:00. > :05:11.# Some people got the real problems

:05:12. > :05:19.# Some people think I can solve them

:05:20. > :05:27.# I'm only human after all, I'm only human after all

:05:28. > :05:39.# Don't ask my opinion, don't ask me to lie

:05:40. > :05:48.# For making you cry, making you cry

:05:49. > :05:52.# Cos I'm only human after all, I'm only human after all

:05:53. > :06:03.# Don't put your blame on me, don't put the blame on me

:06:04. > :06:06.# Some people got the real problems

:06:07. > :06:12.# Some people think I can solve them

:06:13. > :06:21.# I'm only human after all, I'm only human after all.

:06:22. > :06:38.# That's all it takes to put the blame on me

:06:39. > :07:05.# Should go looking somewhere higher

:07:06. > :07:15.# I'm only human after all, I'm only human after all

:07:16. > :07:22.# Don't put the blame on me, don't put the blame on me

:07:23. > :07:28.# I'm just a man, I do what I can

:07:29. > :07:57.Thank you so much for your love, Glastonbury.

:07:58. > :08:03.That's Rag N Bone Man come you don't see many of them nowadays. It is so

:08:04. > :08:08.much more soulful, not what I was expecting when I first heard him,

:08:09. > :08:14.but now a stall of the pop charts. When I was growing up in Bolton, I

:08:15. > :08:21.am sure it was the same to you, Rag N Bone Man. And here he is, having

:08:22. > :08:26.brought his horse and cart to Glastonbury. Steptoe and son, he is

:08:27. > :08:31.about the most famous one. Time for some music, and who better to give

:08:32. > :08:34.that to stand this year's emerging talent winner. Glastonbury Festival

:08:35. > :08:38.every year holds a competition to find the hottest new act around and

:08:39. > :08:41.we have this year's when a committee has been working very hard on site

:08:42. > :08:44.doing lots of different shows, but delighted he has found time to

:08:45. > :08:47.perform here, please welcome, Josh Barry.

:08:48. > :09:08.# People running, always running, where they go, scared of stopping

:09:09. > :09:22.# Can't even escape my mind, I'm just trying to stabilise, oh no, no.

:09:23. > :09:24.# Nothing left to take away, all my faith.

:09:25. > :09:36.# When I'm grown, maybe I will understand a little more.

:09:37. > :09:51.# When I'm old, will you tell me when my judgment's going to come?

:09:52. > :09:58.# Bruising, burning, ever earning, I shall learn.

:09:59. > :10:09.# Never listen, in my prison, why's it so?

:10:10. > :10:14.Erik everything that I've been hearing slowly is disappearing.

:10:15. > :10:21.# When I'm grown, maybe I will understand a little more.

:10:22. > :10:28.# When I'm old, won't you tell me when my judgment's going to come?

:10:29. > :10:31.# When I'm grown, maybe I will understand.

:10:32. > :10:52.# When I'm old, won't you tell me when my judgment's going to come?

:10:53. > :11:13.# Nothing at all, nothing at all, no, no.

:11:14. > :11:40.# Always wishing, something missing #

:11:41. > :11:53.CHEERING and APPLAUSE. There you go, that is Josh Barry, how has it been

:11:54. > :11:58.going, how has your Glastonbury bean? Very busy, show number seven.

:11:59. > :12:03.Amazing though, thank you for having me. Had you been before a queue

:12:04. > :12:11.times? Yes, I did it with Corgan city two years back, that was just

:12:12. > :12:16.one show. A bit easier. Was the final in Filton working men 's club?

:12:17. > :12:21.Yes, that is an interesting place. So going from there to playing seven

:12:22. > :12:26.shows at last a break incredible. Yes, the manic, my manager and

:12:27. > :12:30.everyone around me, these guys especially, seven shows is a lot.

:12:31. > :12:39.You need a lot of sleep, put it that way. Catch up next week. We will see

:12:40. > :12:43.you in the charts in the next few days. Thank you.

:12:44. > :12:50.So here we go, perhaps one day in the legend spot will be Josh Barry,

:12:51. > :12:55.aged 60 or 70, it is possible. Anything is possible, absolutely.

:12:56. > :12:58.And we have another Barry in the legend spot this year, it is all

:12:59. > :13:02.about Barry Gibb on the Pyramid Stage this afternoon. It has been a

:13:03. > :13:05.fantastic set, and we bring it to you right now.

:13:06. > :13:17.His match domain, glimmering smile and strides are synonymous with 70s

:13:18. > :13:21.six appeal. But Barry Gibb is not just a master of high-pitched

:13:22. > :13:24.perfection. One third of band of brothers, the Bee Gees, he is also

:13:25. > :13:32.one of the great songwriters in history. You couldn't stay out of

:13:33. > :13:35.the studio, and we didn't know whether what we were doing was going

:13:36. > :13:40.to be successful or not, but we have to keep doing it. The brothers Gibb

:13:41. > :13:49.had a marked resemblance to the Fab four when they made their top 20

:13:50. > :13:51.debut in 1967. And later that year, they scored their first UK number

:13:52. > :13:57.one with Massachusetts. # Analytes all went out in

:13:58. > :14:08.Massachusetts... The 70s got off to a slow start for

:14:09. > :14:14.the ban. But as disco dawned, the trio were back on form, with an

:14:15. > :14:16.endless flow of funky floor fillers. Their songs for the film Saturday

:14:17. > :14:34.Night Fever soundtrack the late 70s. And in four years, the Bee Gees

:14:35. > :14:40.racked up eight US number ones. As the disco era faded, Barry and the

:14:41. > :14:48.boys turned to penning hits for the likes of Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick

:14:49. > :14:56.and Kenny Rogers. They staged a smooth synth comeback in the 80s.

:14:57. > :15:00.And 60s single, to love somebody, became one of the most covered songs

:15:01. > :15:15.of all time. Losing brother Morris in 2003 and

:15:16. > :15:20.Robin in 2012, Barry is the last surviving BG. I had very vivid

:15:21. > :15:24.dreams of my brother. You see your brother and he is talking to the way

:15:25. > :15:33.he always is, you want to go on stage, I was up for it and that was

:15:34. > :15:39.the dream. Barry made a brief appearance last year at Worthy Farm

:15:40. > :15:46.with Chris Martin and chums. But today he's back for a full Sunday

:15:47. > :15:49.afternoon singalong. You don't consider doing the legend spot, they

:15:50. > :15:54.ask you to do it, and if they ask you to do it, that is too much of an

:15:55. > :15:58.honour, you cannot not do it. So pull out your flares, dust off that

:15:59. > :16:04.medallion and show me some chest hair. Bee Gees's Barry Gibb on the

:16:05. > :16:28.Pyramid Stage. I have got a couple of songs I am thinking of doing.

:16:29. > :25:04.Thank you all very, very much, and good afternoon,

:25:05. > :25:10.You don't know how beautiful you all look from here.

:25:11. > :25:13.And it's a pleasure to be here, and an honour to be here

:25:14. > :25:25.The last time was with Chris Martin and Coldplay,

:25:26. > :25:29.and that was just a glimpse, for me, but a great honour,

:25:30. > :25:37.OK, let's get it to the time, what do we call it, time

:25:38. > :26:06.# Good morning Mr Sunshine, you brighten up my day

:26:07. > :26:30.# I see you every morning, outside the restaurants

:26:31. > :28:04.# Good morning Mr Sunshine, you brighten up my day

:28:05. > :30:44.Let us do something nice and romantic.

:30:45. > :30:47.# I can think of younger days when living for my life

:30:48. > :30:49.# Was everything a man could want to do

:30:50. > :31:01.# But I was never told about the sorrows

:31:02. > :31:13.# How can you stop the rain from falling down?

:31:14. > :31:22.# How can you stop the sun from shining?

:31:23. > :31:55.# Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again

:31:56. > :32:01.# I can still feel the breeze that rustles through the trees

:32:02. > :32:23.# No-one said a word about the sorrow

:32:24. > :32:28.# And how can you mend a broken heart?

:32:29. > :32:36.# How can you stop the rain from falling down?

:32:37. > :32:42.# How can you stop the sun from shining?

:32:43. > :32:54.# And how can you mend this broken man?

:32:55. > :33:15.# Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again

:33:16. > :33:39.# Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again

:33:40. > :34:51.# I want my life to be lived with you

:34:52. > :35:30.# You don't know what it's like, baby

:35:31. > :36:28.# And I'm blind, so so sorrily blind

:36:29. > :37:01.# You don't know what it's like, baby

:37:02. > :38:55.It's been a good few months since I've heard an audience at all,

:38:56. > :38:59.that's remarkable, thank you very, very much.

:39:00. > :39:02.So I don't know if you're aware of it or not, but this

:39:03. > :39:06.is the 40th anniversary of a certain movie.

:39:07. > :39:22.And we sort of have to perform some of that stuff, and this song

:39:23. > :39:30.is probably the most remembered, because it became some kind

:39:31. > :39:32.of an anthem for CPR, and it's just maybe about the tempo,

:39:33. > :39:49.I've got a couple of Sgt Pepper jackets, OK, but that's about it.

:39:50. > :40:09.OK, let's get on with this, hope you enjoy it.

:40:10. > :44:19.OK, I'd like to bring my eldest son to the stage now,

:44:20. > :44:35.OK, I'd like to bring my eldest son to the stage now,

:44:36. > :44:41.this is my eldest son over here, Stephen.

:44:42. > :44:44.And we're going to do a song that my brother, Robin,

:44:45. > :44:54.but we always enjoy playing it, it's called I've Gotta

:44:55. > :45:14.# The preacher talked with me and he smiled,

:45:15. > :45:20.# Said, "Come and walk with me, come and walk one more mile.

:45:21. > :45:26.# Now for once in your life you're alone,

:45:27. > :45:32.# But you ain't got a dime, there's no time for the phone."

:45:33. > :45:43.# I've just got to get a message to you, hold on, hold on.

:45:44. > :45:59.# One more hour and my life will be through, hold on, hold on.

:46:00. > :46:10.# But if I broke her heart, won't you tell her I'm sorry.

:46:11. > :46:17.# And for once in my life I'm alone,

:46:18. > :46:22.# And I've got to let her know just in time before I go.

:46:23. > :46:33.# I've just go to get a message to you, hold on, hold on.

:46:34. > :46:48.# One more hour and my life will be through, hold on, hold on.

:46:49. > :46:54.# Well, I laughed but that didn't hurt,

:46:55. > :47:00.# And it's only her love that keeps me wearing this dirt.

:47:01. > :47:06.# Now I'm crying but deep down inside,

:47:07. > :47:12.# Well I did it to him, now it's my turn to die.

:47:13. > :47:23.# I've just got to get a message to you, hold on, hold on.

:47:24. > :47:44.# One more hour and my life will be through, hold on, hold on.

:47:45. > :47:48.OK, time to go back to that film again.

:47:49. > :48:05.OK, time to go back to that film again.

:48:06. > :48:08.By the way, it was called Saturday Night Fever,

:48:09. > :48:17.OK, this is my favourite song from that film.

:48:18. > :48:45.# I know your eyes in the morning sun

:48:46. > :48:50.# I feel you touch me in the pouring rain

:48:51. > :48:55.# And the moment that you wander far from me

:48:56. > :49:04.# And you come to me on a summer breeze

:49:05. > :49:09.# Keep me warm in your love then you softly leave

:49:10. > :49:27.# 'Cause we're living in a world of fools

:49:28. > :49:51.# You're the light in my deepest darkest hour

:49:52. > :50:22.# 'Cause we're living in a world of fools

:50:23. > :50:52.# Da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da

:50:53. > :50:57.# And you come to me on a summer breeze

:50:58. > :51:01.# Keep me warm in your love then you softly leave

:51:20. > :51:49.# 'Cause we're living in a world of fools

:51:50. > :52:38.This is the song, this was the first song that we ever heard

:52:39. > :52:43.Not so sure you're familiar with it, but I certainly am,

:52:44. > :52:47.so let's give it a shot, it's called Spicks and Specks.

:52:48. > :56:19.And I want to bring Beth to the stage, so we can pay tribute

:56:20. > :56:23.to a couple of wonderful female artists that I've had

:56:24. > :56:25.the opportunity of working with, and there's nobody better than Beth

:56:26. > :56:32.Hang on a minute, I always have trouble pulling these things out.

:56:33. > :57:09.# Shadows falling, baby, we stand alone

:15:54. > :16:05.But also I'd like to dedicate this to the people of Manchester,

:17:55. > :18:33.# And you think that I don't even mean

:18:34. > :18:46.# It's only words, and words are all I have

:18:47. > :18:53.# It's only words, and words are all I have

:18:54. > :19:10.# It's only words, and words are all I have

:19:11. > :19:35.# It's only words, and words are all I have

:19:36. > :19:46.Thank you, thank you for the life experience, just amazing.

:19:47. > :20:33.CHANTING: "BARRY, WEAR THE JACKET, LA LA LA LA!"

:20:34. > :20:43.Someone give it to me, it'd be a pleasure to put it on.

:20:44. > :22:32.# In a world of tears I slowly drown

:22:33. > :22:53.# When the feeling's gone and you can't go on

:22:54. > :23:00.# When the morning cries and you don't know why

:23:01. > :23:10.# When you lose control and you got no soul

:23:11. > :23:13.# When the morning cries and you don't know why

:23:14. > :23:56.# There's a burning down inside of me

:23:57. > :24:04.# With a yearning that won't let me be

:25:40. > :26:27.You guys have been the best, thank you

:26:28. > :26:31.for the experience of a lifetime, and I hope to see you again soon.

:26:32. > :27:10.Amazing. Magical. You can't ask for much more than that. Beautiful

:27:11. > :27:16.weather, a quality band, a song book, almost beyond, you know equal

:27:17. > :27:21.and a lovely personality, I mean genuinely moved by being here. The

:27:22. > :27:29.lads in the audience handing the jacket up and him putting it on.

:27:30. > :27:33.What a touch, it was magical. Fantastic set and Jo Whiley got to

:27:34. > :27:38.catch up with him. And everybody gets involved and like the security

:27:39. > :27:41.guards in the pit doing that dance. I saw them rehearsing that round the

:27:42. > :27:44.side of the Pyramid Stage, I saw them doing the Tragedy dance. I

:27:45. > :27:48.thought this is going to be excellent. And it was just a

:27:49. > :27:51.wonderful atmosphere, genuinely it was, I saw the Jacksons last night

:27:52. > :27:56.with a quality song book and this today, we still have Chic to come.

:27:57. > :28:00.Jo has been catching up with him as he came off stage.

:28:01. > :28:04.Barry Gibb, you have played on the Pyramid Stage, and that was a

:28:05. > :28:09.triumph, a triumph. Thank you. How was it for you? Shocking, because

:28:10. > :28:13.they were completely in the spirit of it, and you know, watching young

:28:14. > :28:20.kids singing those songs after all these year, that is a great feeling

:28:21. > :28:23.too. OK, I remember interviewing Lionel Richie when he came off, he

:28:24. > :28:27.was almost speechless and couldn't believe the size of the crowd. Same

:28:28. > :28:31.thing, it has been about three or four Mondays since I have had the

:28:32. > :28:36.opportunity to go on stage, you know, so, so the band is wonderful,

:28:37. > :28:42.and, we are looking to do another gig. How does it compare going out

:28:43. > :28:46.on your own? Do you get nervous? Of course, every show is a terrifying

:28:47. > :28:51.experience until that first song. And when you know that first song,

:28:52. > :28:55.it is working, and the crowd is smiling, and you just know, so it is

:28:56. > :29:01.like, you know, we have been doing this, or I have for 50 year, you

:29:02. > :29:05.know, so, yeah, I look round and I don't see my brothers and you have

:29:06. > :29:08.to deal with all of that. But I have done, and you can't live on that,

:29:09. > :29:11.you know. But I never stop thinking they are standing next to me, that

:29:12. > :29:17.is always there. Particularly on a day like today, which is a very

:29:18. > :29:21.emotional day. It is a mixture of feelings, bitter-sweet, you know.

:29:22. > :29:26.Great moments, I think of the times when we wrote those songs, the

:29:27. > :29:31.collaboration, the conflict, of coming up with lyric, those moments

:29:32. > :29:34.never go away. They would have loved it. Of course they would. It is

:29:35. > :29:41.something they would have dreamed of doing too. How you feeling? Ready.

:29:42. > :29:45.But I don't know what for. Ready for a sit down, a drink. Ready for

:29:46. > :29:51.something. Did you hear from Chris Martin this morn something No. I

:29:52. > :29:55.wondered whether he had made conxxxx contact. We haven't spoken since

:29:56. > :30:00.that night. This is the never ending tour. But I look forward to speaking

:30:01. > :30:03.to him at some point. Maybe you will get a call, a gig review after. I

:30:04. > :30:09.don't know. I don't know, I think they are very busy. It is all about

:30:10. > :30:13.you. Yes, but I am a fan, so it's all right. Congratulations, well

:30:14. > :30:20.done, it was wonderful today, great sight. Thank you. Thank you so much.

:30:21. > :30:24.So touching, how poignant is that. It will be interesting to see, what

:30:25. > :30:29.happens in the chart, because often after the legends slot, you see

:30:30. > :30:34.people's back catalogue rocketing, lie Nel Richie hat his first number

:30:35. > :30:40.one in 25 careers in Britain after his performance, after that, today,

:30:41. > :30:44.who knows. Just memories of his brothers, and you were saying after

:30:45. > :30:48.the festival. Not only is he nice but everybody who came with him is

:30:49. > :30:53.amazing. That is what I heard from the team. He is one of the loveliest

:30:54. > :30:57.artists to work with. And big on family, clearly. While we are

:30:58. > :31:02.talking about family, can I say hello to my grandchildren, who have

:31:03. > :31:07.been watching, sent us a photo of watching grandad on the telly. We

:31:08. > :31:08.will head up to the west holds stage and check out Shaggy. It was

:31:09. > :31:34.definitely him. # Honey came in and she caught me

:31:35. > :31:37.red-handed # Picture this we were both

:31:38. > :31:42.butt-naked # How could I forget

:31:43. > :31:46.that I had given her an extra key? # All this time she was standing

:31:47. > :31:48.there she never took her eyes off me # How you can grant the woman access

:31:53. > :31:54.she turn into a killer # Best for you and the situation not

:31:55. > :31:56.to call the beaner # To be a true player

:31:57. > :31:58.you have to know how to play # If she say you're not,

:31:59. > :32:00.convince her, say you're gay # Makes a claim and you tell her,

:32:01. > :32:03.baby, no way # Heard the screams getting louder

:32:04. > :32:20.It wasn't me # Honey came in

:32:46. > :32:48.da gigolo flex # As funny as it be by you

:32:49. > :32:50.it not that complex # Seein' is believin' so you better

:32:51. > :32:54.change your specs # You know she not gonna be worrying

:32:55. > :32:55.about things from the past # Hardly recollecting and then

:32:56. > :33:00.she'll go to noontime mass # But if she pack a gun

:33:01. > :33:04.you know you better run fast # Heard the screams getting louder

:33:43. > :33:56.there she never took her eyes off me Glastonbury. If you get caught

:33:57. > :34:08.red-handed, you should look her in the eye and you say, you say... You

:34:09. > :34:20.say Crowd chants: It wasn't me. It wasn't me. What you say? It wasn't

:34:21. > :34:26.me. Never fear. And if you do that and your ass gets kicked out and you

:34:27. > :34:38.are sleeping on the couch, don't blame it on me, it wasn't me. You go

:34:39. > :34:41.on your knee and you look her in the eye and you beg. You look her in the

:34:42. > :35:18.eye and you say something like - # Honey came in and she caught me

:35:19. > :35:20.red-handed # Picture this we were both

:35:21. > :35:23.butt-naked # How could I forget

:35:50. > :35:55.# It wasn't me #

:35:56. > :36:00.Glastonbury. Shaggy, sounding sensational in the

:36:01. > :36:04.sunshine up on the West Holts stage who've had the most fantastic

:36:05. > :36:10.line-up. I think if I had to pick one stage I would stick at, it

:36:11. > :36:14.would've been West Holts for me this year. If you want to check out

:36:15. > :36:17.anything you might have missed, there are over 100 performances you

:36:18. > :36:21.can watch online at bbc.co.uk/Glastonbury. I was there

:36:22. > :36:29.last night and watched the Jacksons. Another classic song catalogue.

:36:30. > :36:33.Another legends slot. And we had English National Opera opening up

:36:34. > :36:37.the other year And we had ear Ache but how about a bit of brass band

:36:38. > :37:01.music? LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY PLAYS Welcome

:37:02. > :37:08.to Queensberry the home of the Black Dyke Band. This has been the home of

:37:09. > :37:11.the band since 1855. It was here in the North that blahs bands began in

:37:12. > :37:14.the early 19th century. The mill owners and pit bosses realise the

:37:15. > :37:24.that workers' morale was boosted by music after a hard day's work. Into

:37:25. > :37:25.these are all amateurs. We are all amateur musicians.

:37:26. > :37:30.these are all amateurs. We are all amateur musicians. We have normal

:37:31. > :37:35.jobs. We are amateurs but like Olympicians. Because these are the

:37:36. > :37:42.very best. We've had many association was famous people over

:37:43. > :37:58.the years. Perhaps the most famous was Paul McCartney when he was with

:37:59. > :38:02.The Beatles. We recorded Yellow Sub marine and Thingy Me Bob. The band

:38:03. > :38:07.have typical concerts throughout the year. Glastonbury is fantastic for

:38:08. > :38:15.us. Something unique. We have not done a festival such as this. I'm

:38:16. > :38:19.looking forward to waking up all the hungover people from the night

:38:20. > :38:22.before with brass banding. Maybe that no-one has heard before and

:38:23. > :38:26.probably think is boring and we're going to show them it is not as

:38:27. > :38:30.boring as they think, it is quite exciting. Just to play on the stage

:38:31. > :38:34.will be phenomenal. Can't wait. We are a brass band, we're from

:38:35. > :38:45.Yorkshire, it is one of the things that Yorkshire does best. Morning.

:38:46. > :38:57.We'll get warmed up and psyched up and go on stage and smash it.

:38:58. > :39:06.When we walk on stage with our uniforms, golden lapels bow ties, I

:39:07. > :39:59.think there will be a few eyebrows raised. Good morning Glastonbury.

:40:00. > :40:39.APPLAUSE That was awesome, amazing I couldn't

:40:40. > :40:45.believe how the day went. They got me more excited. We'll probably have

:40:46. > :40:49.a well-deserved beer A great festival for music and performing a

:40:50. > :40:57.arts everywhere. We'll just go out and soak it all up.

:40:58. > :41:06.Just something about that sound that makes me want to join in. Whether it

:41:07. > :41:10.is a brass band or New Orleans Hot Air who were with us. It is like

:41:11. > :41:16.everybody, something is happening, join in and march. If I hear a brass

:41:17. > :41:22.band I have to walk in time. I liked she said - we're going to smash T

:41:23. > :41:27.why wouldn't they say it? Like any band on the Introducing Stage. We're

:41:28. > :41:31.going to have an acoustic. This was someone singing up a storm in

:41:32. > :41:37.rehearsal. Astonishing stuff. The most recent album is My Wild West.

:41:38. > :41:47.Originally from Illinois, this is Lissie.

:41:48. > :41:54.# I've got a feeling like I'm almost there

:41:55. > :42:04.# And I think I might belong somewhere

:42:05. > :42:15.# I've been disbelieving in my own heart

:42:16. > :42:22.# And the deceiving is the hardest part

:42:23. > :42:29.# And I feel the knowing that I must be going

:42:30. > :42:40.# Ojai, I don't wanna leave you behind

:42:41. > :42:46.# But you know that I made up my mind

:42:47. > :42:56.# So goodbye, I know I'm gonna see you again

:42:57. > :43:07.# And I'll be thinking of you until then, Ojai

:43:08. > :43:16.# I miss the seasons, I miss the land

:43:17. > :43:18.# I miss them for reasons I don't understand

:43:19. > :43:40.# Ojai, I don't wanna leave you behind

:43:41. > :43:45.# But you know that I made up my mind

:43:46. > :43:58.# So goodbye; I know I'm gonna see you again

:43:59. > :44:08.# And I'll be thinking of you until then, Ojai

:44:09. > :44:31.# Ojai, I don't wanna leave you behind

:44:32. > :44:37.# Ojai, I don't wanna leave you behind

:44:38. > :44:43.# But you know that I made up my mind

:44:44. > :44:58.# So goodbye, I know I'm gonna see you again

:44:59. > :45:03.# And I'll be thinking of you until then, Ojai #

:45:04. > :45:13.APPLAUSE Fantastic stuff from Lissie. How has

:45:14. > :45:19.your Glastonbury been? Awesome, short. I just got here yesterday but

:45:20. > :45:26.so much fun, magical. You live in Iowa? I bought a farm there noshgts

:45:27. > :45:32.eastern, it is great to be back on auto farm. You were in California?

:45:33. > :45:37.Yes and the move prompted me to write my Wild West. It is all about

:45:38. > :45:43.leaving California to go back to the Midwest where I'm from? You are

:45:44. > :45:46.happy there? Yes, close to family, learning about bee-keeping and

:45:47. > :45:53.gardening a lot. And learning more about the land and all that stuff

:45:54. > :46:02.so... Good, lovely to see you. Enjoy the rest of your week. Sensational,

:46:03. > :46:05.the pipes and the background there. We are minutes away, ladies and

:46:06. > :46:11.gentlemen, from Chic Chic who are coming up, but first, today's secret

:46:12. > :46:20.guests. Jo Whiley is with them in the Dome, back stage.

:46:21. > :46:30.How was it for you? It was a ruckus, it was good. We have good memories

:46:31. > :46:34.of that tent. So it was a bit nostalgic but it felt fresh. I feel

:46:35. > :46:39.good about it. Tell us about the memories? The first time we played

:46:40. > :46:44.there was about 13 years ago, and we, some kind of switch had been

:46:45. > :46:49.flipped we weren't aware of. When we came out the crowd was different and

:46:50. > :46:53.it has never been the same, it has always been that way since. Before

:46:54. > :46:58.then we we are earning it. Earning it, and now we are just spoiled I

:46:59. > :47:03.guess. In 2007 you said it would be the last time you would come to

:47:04. > :47:07.Glastonbury. I did not say that. You might have done. We had issues with

:47:08. > :47:12.the sound, it wasn't our fault. You chose that. We will be back next

:47:13. > :47:16.year. Headlining? I don't know. Playing the tent again. How does it

:47:17. > :47:22.feel to be together again, last time I saw you it was solo stuff and now

:47:23. > :47:28.all together? It feels good. Reading -- riding a bike. It feels natural

:47:29. > :47:34.As natural as slot machines in the laundry. If that makes any sense. It

:47:35. > :47:38.makes no sense. Have you ever done a festival and gone out in disguise. I

:47:39. > :47:46.have seen people who wear the bucket hats. You weren't Lord bucket head.

:47:47. > :47:50.I don't mind taking couple of hundred selfies. It probably makes

:47:51. > :47:56.you happy. We don't mind it. You used to talk a lot, you know. You

:47:57. > :48:02.have changed. I'm tired. I am on two hours sleep. Sum up what it was like

:48:03. > :48:08.today. Well, it was, it was daunting to walk out to what we walked out

:48:09. > :48:14.to. It was an impressive thing. It felt great. We have played Mr Bright

:48:15. > :48:19.side probably 1500 time, live, and I think that was the craziest it has

:48:20. > :48:23.ever been. It is... It must have been emotional. There is a thing

:48:24. > :48:26.that happens when you walk out on a stage like that, where, you are not

:48:27. > :48:30.in control of your own body, you feel yourself hitting things but you

:48:31. > :48:35.are not sure if you are the one doing it. It was that kind of...

:48:36. > :48:42.Experience. Well done on keeping it a secret. I don't think it was a

:48:43. > :48:45.secret. Car 1900. Here they are. These are the killers on John Peel

:48:46. > :48:49.and flashing images here, just to warn you.

:48:50. > :49:28.We're the killers. # Now I'm falling asleep

:49:29. > :49:32.And she's calling a cab # While he's having a smoke

:49:33. > :49:34.And she's taking a drag # And she's taking a drag

:49:35. > :50:51.And I've been doing just fine # Now they're going to bed

:50:52. > :52:54.And my stomach is sick CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:52:55. > :53:02.Lad alive, it has been all the hits today and if you want More Killers

:53:03. > :53:06.8pm BBC Four in full on your telly. But, do you really want do that is

:53:07. > :53:09.this we have the party started with Barry Gibb, and some disco classics

:53:10. > :53:16.and ballads to put you in the mood. But we can take you to the party to

:53:17. > :53:22.a hiring level, can't we. I have my disco pans on, let's do it. Nile

:53:23. > :55:09.Roger, Chic. What can you say. Put your hands together, everybody.

:55:10. > :55:15.Come on. # Everybody dance

:55:16. > :55:40.# Everybody dance

:55:41. > :56:25.# Bop-shoo-wa, bop-shoo-wa, bop-shoo-wa

:56:26. > :57:03.# Come on everybody, get on your feet

:57:04. > :57:53.# Everybody dance # Everybody dance

:57:54. > :59:35.thank you. I Want Your Love. Come on, everybody sing it with us.

:59:36. > :59:58.# To try my love and see how well it fits?

:59:59. > :00:01.# Baby, can't you see, when you look at me

:00:02. > :00:04.# I can't kick this feelin' when it hits

:00:05. > :00:14.# I grab my pillow and squeeze it tight

:00:15. > :00:18.# I think of you and I dream of you all the time

:00:19. > :00:42.# Sometime, don't you feel like you I want your love

:00:43. > :00:46.# Never really had a love that's real?

:00:47. > :00:54.# A better love you won't find today?

:00:55. > :00:58.# Just one chance and I will show you love

:00:59. > :01:12.# I want your lovin', please don't make me beg

:01:13. > :02:05.# I want your love, I want your love

:02:06. > :02:20.# Your lovely need #

:02:21. > :02:47.Woo # Yeah, yeah, yeah

:02:48. > :02:47.# You know what, it's time to get funky

:02:48. > :04:32.# It's time to get funky, yeah # I want your love,

:04:33. > :04:37.I want your love Yeah

:04:38. > :05:42.# I want your love# # Right now

:05:43. > :06:13.# Oh, yeah, yeah Give it up for the trumpet player

:06:14. > :06:19.and Miss Kimberly Davis on vocals. So, before we go on, I just got to

:06:20. > :06:25.say a little something. I've been here in London, in England for about

:06:26. > :06:29.ten days now and I got to be honest with you, it's been the most

:06:30. > :06:38.inspirational period of my life. I got here, I arrived the day after

:06:39. > :06:43.the horrible fire. A friend of mine called me up and he told me to come

:06:44. > :06:48.down andville tier. I have to be honest with you, I never saw such

:06:49. > :06:53.spirit as the spirit I saw with those volunteers. It was unreal,

:06:54. > :06:56.man. It was unreal. We packed clothing, we shipped clothing. I

:06:57. > :07:01.mean people's spirit, instead of what I was seeing on the television

:07:02. > :07:04.when I was flying over, seeing a bunch of people being angry and

:07:05. > :07:13.stuff, I saw a bunch of people who were full of love. They were filled

:07:14. > :07:21.with hope and I got to be honest with you, the pay that they treated

:07:22. > :07:28.me, I walked into the centre and the woman said to me - now Roger, I'm

:07:29. > :07:34.happy you are here, here's a pair of gloves, do some work! It was

:07:35. > :07:37.unbelievable. She had me packing clothing, doing clothing all sorts

:07:38. > :07:42.of things. I've got to be honest with you, her spir and the all of

:07:43. > :07:47.those volunteers d her spirit and all of those volunteers, brought a

:07:48. > :07:53.tear to my eye. It was like we were here last time, you guys made us all

:07:54. > :08:00.feel so welcome. I just want to thank you. You are a great country,

:08:01. > :08:06.great people, thank you so much. So, I don't want to be corny and bring

:08:07. > :08:11.you down, so I just want to say that I feel like a really, really happy

:08:12. > :08:17.man because I have, like the best job in the world. I get to write and

:08:18. > :08:24.produce songs for lots of really big stars and every now and then, some

:08:25. > :08:41.of those records go number one. Now I'm going ego trip and just play my

:08:42. > :08:49.number one records. I'm going to start off, we'll do a medley of some

:08:50. > :08:54.of my number ones. This is a song I did for Diana Ross. It's called I'm

:08:55. > :09:03.Coming Out. Here is the deal. When we get to the chore chorus, you guys

:09:04. > :09:10.have to sing with us. The lyrics are simple. "I'm coming out." You got

:09:11. > :09:12.it. Here we go you all, let's do this. One, two, one, two, three,

:09:13. > :09:19.and... # I'm coming out, I want

:09:20. > :09:48.the world to know # I'm coming out, I want

:09:49. > :10:09.the world to know # I'm coming out, I want

:10:10. > :10:16.the world to know # I got to let it

:10:17. > :10:22.show # There's a new me coming out,

:10:23. > :10:25.I just have to live # And I wanna give, I'm

:10:26. > :10:32.completely positive # I think this time around, I am

:10:33. > :10:36.gonna do it # The time has come for me

:10:37. > :10:46.to break out of the shell # I have to shout, "I am coming

:10:47. > :10:48.out" I'm coming out, # I want the world to know I got

:10:49. > :10:54.to let it show # I'm coming out, I want

:10:55. > :10:59.the world to know # I'm coming out, I want

:11:00. > :11:02.the world to know # I've got to show the world

:11:03. > :11:11.all that I wanna be # And all my abillities,

:11:12. > :11:13.there's so much more to me # Somehow, I have to make

:11:14. > :11:15.them just understand # I've got it well in hand and,

:11:16. > :11:17.oh, how I've planned # I'm spreading love,

:11:18. > :11:22.there is no need to fear # And I just feel so good

:11:23. > :11:26.every time I hear # I'm coming out, I want

:11:27. > :11:30.the world to know # I'm coming out, I want

:11:31. > :11:41.the world to know # Around and round

:11:42. > :12:51.you're turning me # Respectfully I see to thee I'm

:12:52. > :13:28.aware that you're cheating # When no one makes

:13:29. > :13:29.me feel like you do # As long as the sun

:13:30. > :13:54.continues to shine # There's a place in my heart

:13:55. > :13:56.for you that's the bottom line # Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah

:13:57. > :14:51.# Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah # One night in a disco

:14:52. > :15:06.on the outskirts of Frisco # I was cruisin'

:15:07. > :15:10.with my favourite gang # The place was so borin',

:15:11. > :15:14.filled with out-of-towners tourin' # I really wasn't carin'

:15:15. > :15:21.but I felt my eyes starin' # At a guy who stuck out

:15:22. > :15:26.in the crowd # He had the kind of body

:15:27. > :15:31.that would shame Adonis # And a face

:15:32. > :15:35.that would make any man proud # He's the greatest

:15:36. > :15:48.dancer # The champion of dance,

:15:49. > :15:56.his moves would put you in a trance # And he never leaves

:15:57. > :16:00.the disco alone # Arrogance but not conceit

:16:01. > :16:04.as a man he is complete # My creme de la creme,

:16:05. > :16:08.please take me home # He wears the finest clothes,

:16:09. > :16:12.the best designers, heaven knows # Ooo, from his head down

:16:13. > :16:16.to his toes # Hey, and we flock just

:16:17. > :17:51.like birds of a feather # All of the people

:17:52. > :17:59.around us they say # We're giving love

:18:00. > :18:05.in a family dose # I got all my sisters

:18:06. > :18:17.with me # Living life is fun

:18:18. > :18:41.and we've just begun # To get our share of

:18:42. > :18:47.the world's delights # Cause here's what we

:18:48. > :19:03.call our golden rule # Have faith in you

:24:20. > :24:23.all before I'm through # Fly into space or maybe

:24:24. > :24:25.save the human race # All these things

:24:26. > :24:31.seem so appealing # But I'll never get the chance,

:24:32. > :24:37.'cause all I do is dance # My mama said my

:24:38. > :24:48.brains are in my feet # My feet keep dancing,

:24:49. > :25:03.dancing, dancing # Papa told me, every night

:25:04. > :25:04.when he would scold me # He knew I'd never

:25:05. > :25:07.make him very proud # So I ran away from

:25:08. > :25:09.home to live all alone # And make myself

:25:10. > :25:14.a standout in the crowd # Then it hit, my

:27:23. > :27:28.ago. And at that time, I didn't share this with you, but a couple of

:27:29. > :27:32.years before that, my doctors had told me that I was suffering from

:27:33. > :27:40.extremely aggressive cancer, and that I needed to go home and get my

:27:41. > :27:44.affairs in order. So, I went home and I did a little thinking and I

:27:45. > :27:48.thought to myself, well I'm a musician, if I'm going to get my

:27:49. > :27:58.affairs in order what would that mean to me? Well, I happened to get

:27:59. > :28:03.a phone call from two French guys called Daft Punk and a gentleman

:28:04. > :28:11.named Pharrell Williams. And we got together, and we wrote

:28:12. > :28:15.this song called Get Lucky. And I feel like the luckiest man in the

:28:16. > :28:22.world tonight, because six years after that doctor told me to go home
