:42:51. > :42:55.Miguel. Thank you. And now I'm joined at the piano by
:42:55. > :43:00.the wonderful KT Tunstall. Lovely to see you. Hello. Now, at the love
:43:01. > :43:05.you here. You have this great, lovely, lovely record. It seems to
:43:05. > :43:09.have changed since your last record. What was the motivation behind this
:43:09. > :43:15.record? Very different. I just got really inspired to make a record
:43:15. > :43:18.that was just all about voice which, weirdly I have not done yet. I
:43:18. > :43:22.proceeded myself with this package that was rhythm and guitar and
:43:22. > :43:27.writing and performing and never really just trusted singing. So
:43:27. > :43:33.this is' what this was about. It was old songs from the heart. A
:43:33. > :43:36.very emotional record where I'd been really into sound and
:43:36. > :43:41.production, this is definitely about sitting and playing again.
:43:41. > :43:44.Based on difficult experiences and a fantastic lovely gentle piano and
:43:44. > :43:49.guitar, very stripped down. A lovely record. But the voice is
:43:49. > :43:54.great, as a thing? It is a human instrument which we all have, and
:43:54. > :43:58.you can sing in all different styles. I mean, give us the two
:43:58. > :44:01.different types of ranges? How would you describe one end and the
:44:01. > :44:09.other end? When I first started singing, I didn't really start
:44:09. > :44:15.until I was about 14 or 15. And I just naturally graph taited towards
:44:15. > :44:21.a blues voice. It's always been a very natural place for me. But all
:44:21. > :44:25.the time I've written upbeat songs and knees-up pub songs I've always
:44:25. > :44:29.written ballads at the same time, so there has always been this
:44:29. > :44:34.softer voice that I've had. I think from busking you get used to
:44:34. > :44:40.yelling all the time. It is also very addictive, getting a crowd
:44:40. > :44:44.jumping. And, so, sometimes the quieter stuff just gets trampled.
:44:44. > :44:52.Another voice you have - because you did some shows with my big band.
:44:52. > :45:02.You can sing like an old-styley voice as well. I would love that.
:45:02. > :45:04.What have we go the there # Like the beat, beat, beat of the
:45:04. > :45:10.tomtom$$NEWLINE# When the junkle shadows fall
:45:10. > :45:15.# Like the tick, tick, tock of the stately clock up against the wall
:45:15. > :45:22.# Like the drip, drip, drip of the rain drops
:45:22. > :45:27.# When the sun would shower through # I hear a voice inside repeating
:45:27. > :45:35.you, you, you... # Night and day
:45:36. > :45:45.# You are the one. # Only you beneath the moon
:45:46. > :45:50.
