:11:29. > :11:35.fast lane, speed up # It ain't no game, just turn up all

:11:36. > :11:40.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:11:41. > :11:50.The wonderful sound of Caravan Palace. Lone Digger from their

:11:51. > :11:54.album, Caravan Palace! Now a man with his only pint of Guinness, it's

:11:55. > :11:58.Guy Garvey. It's great to have you here. Do you like that? It was

:11:59. > :12:03.great. Love it. Fantastic. It makes me want to go to Paris. Shall we run

:12:04. > :12:08.away to Paris? And learn to dance. Brilliant. We can dance like that in

:12:09. > :12:13.nightclubs in par. I love the idea of that. Congratulations on your

:12:14. > :12:16.solo record. A beautiful product and beautiful voice and everything.

:12:17. > :12:23.Thank you. It's not Elbow, who is it? It's me and a bunch of old pals.

:12:24. > :12:29.I have Peter, Nathan from The Whip. Alex Reeves on the drums. On the

:12:30. > :12:33.album Ben Christopher played keyboards and the brass section, the

:12:34. > :12:36.girls that Elbow worked with for a long time, Sarah and Victoria, who

:12:37. > :12:41.are amazing. I surrounded myself with the best people around. A super

:12:42. > :12:44.group of players. What's different about this, what can you achieve

:12:45. > :12:48.with this that you couldn't with Elbow? It's not so much that. It's

:12:49. > :12:54.stretching myself a little bit. Because there's five writers in

:12:55. > :12:57.Elbow, things take five times longer so the album was made quicker and

:12:58. > :13:01.really it was an exercise, I wasn't actually going to take it live or

:13:02. > :13:05.anything but it was Pete from Elbow that said I should do or I might

:13:06. > :13:08.regret it. It's been great fun. It's interesting, when you work in a

:13:09. > :13:12.different people, something different comes out. Do you think

:13:13. > :13:17.that is what you have learned? Plus when you are in a band it's, as you

:13:18. > :13:25.know, it's where your tastes meet, that's what you end up producing and

:13:26. > :13:29.certain areas of my taste that Elbow - well they wouldn't let me get away

:13:30. > :13:33.with that keyboard solo, I couldn't play it anyway! It's groovy. Ben

:13:34. > :13:38.can't come on tour with us because he is such an in demand man. I miss

:13:39. > :13:42.you, Ben. You are in demand, as well. Also you have a show on the ie

:13:43. > :13:47.player, I believe. Tell us what that features. Like this good programme,

:13:48. > :13:52.it's about promoting music that I think is worthy of a bigger

:13:53. > :13:56.audience. So, with my good friend Rachel Davis who produced and made

:13:57. > :14:00.the programme we made six episodes about artists I think that the

:14:01. > :14:05.British public would like. So, a good 25 minutes per artist. On each

:14:06. > :14:13.person. Give us an example of one person that you have focussed on.

:14:14. > :14:19.Here We Go Magic, an amazing band from upstate New York. Elbow toured

:14:20. > :14:25.with them. The album before last was made with Nigel from Radiohead fame.

:14:26. > :14:29.It's shining a light on things that might have escaped people's

:14:30. > :14:32.attention that is great to listen to. Exactly. In the room tonight who

:14:33. > :14:39.are you enjoying, anybody in particular? I think it's amazing.

:14:40. > :14:43.Judy, what an honour to meet Judy. Absolutely loving what Dave is

:14:44. > :14:48.doing, as well. That's an incredible sound over there chaps. A room full

:14:49. > :14:51.of amazing stuff. Judy Collins, one of the first records I ever bought.

:14:52. > :14:54.When she came to my dressing room I couldn't believe it. You know what I

:14:55. > :14:58.mean? If you came to my dressing room I would believe it and I would

:14:59. > :15:02.love to see you but it's not like a dream. Well it is... I will stop

:15:03. > :15:05.now. It's great. Thank you very much Guy Garvey!

:15:06. > :15:12.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:15:13. > :15:18.Are you doing another number? Great. Now we are welcoming Bela Fleck and

:15:19. > :15:43.Abigail Washburn. # If I had a shot gun and you were

:15:44. > :16:06.in the words # I'd hunt you down

:16:07. > :16:14.# And tell you you're no good # If I had a shotgun

:16:15. > :16:33.# You'd go down on your knees # You'd start begging please

:16:34. > :16:51.# Don't you run now # If you run now

:16:52. > :16:58.# You know what I will do # I would let you go but you are

:16:59. > :17:11.just too mean # Wish I was a big girl

:17:12. > :17:41.# Could let my heart be free # But if I was a big girl

:17:42. > :17:46.# I'd have you hung in a tree # So get me a shotgun

:17:47. > :17:48.# And don't you run now # Because if you run now

:17:49. > :18:26.# You know what I have to do # So get me a shotgun

:18:27. > :18:32.# And don't you run now # Because if you run now

:18:33. > :18:50.# You know what I have to do # The extraordinary sound of Bela

:18:51. > :18:54.Fleck and Abigail Washburn. Now, the talented young fella whose new album

:18:55. > :19:12.comes out on Friday called Making Time, Jamie Woon.

:19:13. > :19:23.# Never been so existent # You can't know unless you feel

:19:24. > :19:40.# Come back - bodies aching from the want and the waiting

:19:41. > :19:51.# Never felt this before # Is it written on my back, take it

:19:52. > :20:04.back and then let it go # Every day is the day that you

:20:05. > :20:08.saved me # Light into darkness cut on the

:20:09. > :20:17.sharpness of you # Never been so inside and falling

:20:18. > :20:29.into you # You can't fall unless you feel

:20:30. > :20:35.it,? # Come back - bodies aching from the

:20:36. > :20:54.want and the waiting # I get this pain when you're

:20:55. > :20:56.leaving # Never felt this before

:20:57. > :20:59.# Never felt this before # Is it written on my back, take it

:21:00. > :21:07.back and then let it go (let it go) # Is it written on my back, take it

:21:08. > :21:17.back and then let it go # Every day is the day that you

:21:18. > :21:20.saved me # Light into darkness cut on the

:21:21. > :21:47.sharpness of you # Come back - bodies aching from the

:21:48. > :21:58.want and the waiting # Never felt this before

:21:59. > :22:04.# Never felt this before # Is it written on my back, take it

:22:05. > :22:12.back and then let it go (let it go) # Is it written on my back, take it

:22:13. > :22:44.back and then let it go Jamie Woon. When he was playing

:22:45. > :22:52.everyone in the room was going like this. Now it is time for an

:22:53. > :22:54.incredible legend, one of the greatest singers of all time, the

:22:55. > :23:10.fabulous Judy Collins. # There are places I remember all my

:23:11. > :23:20.life # Though some have changed

:23:21. > :23:29.# Some forever, not for better # All these places have their

:23:30. > :23:41.meanings # With lovers and friends I still

:23:42. > :23:44.can recall # But of all these friends and

:23:45. > :24:12.lovers # And these memories lose their

:24:13. > :24:29.meaning # When I think of love as something

:24:30. > :24:31.new # Though I know I'll never lose

:24:32. > :24:35.affection # For people and things that went

:24:36. > :24:41.before # I know I'll often stop and think

:24:42. > :25:32.about them That was wonderful. The amazing Judy

:25:33. > :25:39.Collins. In My Life. We have only got 40 seconds for a wrap. Now that

:25:40. > :25:53.I have done this we only have 20 seconds. I would like to thank Jamie

:25:54. > :25:58.Woon! Caravan Palace. Dave Gahan and Soulsavers. And now we will say

:25:59. > :26:37.farewell with the wonderful Guy Garvey.
