:12:49. > :12:57.Zeppelin in the very early days when we set out, 1968, 1969, the album
:12:58. > :13:04.comes out. In America, there was an FM radio which was like, Led
:13:05. > :13:08.Zeppelin was perfect for that sort of airplay. Over here in England, as
:13:09. > :13:15.we weren't doing singles, we were not getting any airplay at all.
:13:16. > :13:21.There were a number of little shows like Top Gear on the BBC and Chris
:13:22. > :13:28.Grant's tasty pop Sunday! And you go to the BBC studios at Maida Vale,
:13:29. > :13:33.have a small slot in which to record whatever it was you were going to
:13:34. > :13:39.try to get across. That basically is what these are about God this is our
:13:40. > :13:44.airplay at the time. -- this is what they are about, this was our
:13:45. > :13:53.airplay. I thought, great, we can hear those tapes but they were lost.
:13:54. > :13:58.There was one session, the Alexis Corner session was lost, they did
:13:59. > :14:02.not have the tapes. We were going in and recording these slots, three or
:14:03. > :14:09.four numbers, and it was for the BBC World Service rhythm and blues show
:14:10. > :14:14.hosted by Alexis who was a real ambassador for the blues. They
:14:15. > :14:21.didn't have the tapes. The story is, there is a song on here called
:14:22. > :14:28.Sunshine Woman and it was recorded in eastern Europe onto a reel to
:14:29. > :14:31.reel tape. Eastern Europe in the Cold War, no walls had come down
:14:32. > :14:43.yet, he had his illegal take missing out. And he has put Led Zeppelin on
:14:44. > :14:47.but how did you get it? About 20 years ago it surfaces, not even
:14:48. > :14:51.that, it surfaces on the bootleg market about ten years ago and you
:14:52. > :14:59.are aware of it. There are a couple of the songs from the session as
:15:00. > :15:06.well You Shook Me, the real blues stuff. We managed to get access to
:15:07. > :15:12.the bootleg copy. That is only those three tracks, everything else is on
:15:13. > :15:15.the BBC analogue archive. They managed to keep them, they wiped the
:15:16. > :15:20.moon landings but they kept the important stuff! It is fantastic to
