0:00:18 > 0:00:22And all went to be taxed, everyone into his own city.

0:00:23 > 0:00:27And Joseph also went up from Galilee,

0:00:27 > 0:00:31out of the city of Nazareth into Judea

0:00:31 > 0:00:36unto the city Of David which is called Bethlehem,

0:00:36 > 0:00:40because he was of the house and lineage of David,

0:00:40 > 0:00:46to be taxed with Mary his espoused wife being great with child.

0:00:48 > 0:00:51And so it was that while they were there,

0:00:51 > 0:00:55the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

0:00:56 > 0:01:00And she brought forth her first-born son

0:01:00 > 0:01:03and wrapped him in swaddling clothes

0:01:03 > 0:01:05and laid him in a manger,

0:01:05 > 0:01:08because there was no room for them in the inn.

0:01:10 > 0:01:16And there were, in the same country, shepherds abiding in the field,

0:01:16 > 0:01:19keeping watch over their flock by night.

0:01:20 > 0:01:21And lo,

0:01:21 > 0:01:25the Angel of the Lord came upon them

0:01:25 > 0:01:30and the glory of the Lord shone round about them

0:01:30 > 0:01:31and they were sore afraid.

0:01:32 > 0:01:35And the angel said unto them,

0:01:35 > 0:01:38"Fear not, for behold,

0:01:38 > 0:01:42"I bring you good tidings of great joy

0:01:42 > 0:01:45"which shall be to all people.

0:01:45 > 0:01:47"For unto you is born this day,

0:01:47 > 0:01:53"in the city of David, a saviour which is Christ the Lord."

0:01:54 > 0:01:57"And this shall be a sign unto you -

0:01:57 > 0:02:02"ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes

0:02:02 > 0:02:03"lying in a manger."
