:14:53. > :14:58.# Well you treat me just like another stranger

:14:59. > :15:03.# Well it's nice to meet you sir # I guess I'll go

:15:04. > :15:08.# You treat me just like another stranger

:15:50. > :15:58.# You treat me just like another stranger

:15:59. > :17:09.# I guess I'll go # I best be on my way out. #

:17:10. > :17:12.# I can feel the pressure # It's getting closer now

:17:13. > :17:14.# We're better off without you # I can feel the pressure

:17:15. > :17:23.# It's getting closer now # We're better off without you

:17:24. > :17:36.# And I had to let them go # Some things I'll never know

:17:37. > :17:39.# I'm sitting all alone feeling empty

:17:40. > :17:50.# It's getting closer now # We're better off without you

:17:51. > :18:00.# Feel the pressure # It's getting closer now

:18:01. > :18:33.# And I had to let them go # Some things I'll never know

:18:34. > :18:44.# I'm sitting all alone feeling empty

:18:45. > :18:56.# It's getting closer now # We're better off without you

:18:57. > :19:02.# Feel the pressure # It's getting closer now

:19:03. > :24:43.# It's never my intention to brag # To steal it all away from you now.

:24:44. > :24:47.# But God does it feel so good # Because I got him where I want him

:24:48. > :24:51.now # And if you could then you know you

:24:52. > :24:59.would # Because God, it just feels so,

:25:00. > :25:02.# It feels so good # Second chances they don't ever

:25:03. > :25:07.matter # People never change

:25:08. > :25:14.# Once a whorr you're nothing more # I'm sorry, that will never change

:25:15. > :25:21.# And about forgiveness, we're both supposed to have exchanged? I'm

:25:22. > :25:26.sorry honey, but I passed it up # Now look this way

:25:27. > :25:36.# I never meant to brag # But I got him where I want him now

:25:37. > :25:41.# Whoa it was never my intention to brag snowed to steal it all away

:25:42. > :25:47.from you know # But God does it feel so good

:25:48. > :25:52.# Because I got him where I want him now

:25:53. > :25:55.# And if you could then you would # Because God it just feels so

:25:56. > :26:25.# It just feels so good. This is our favourite part. We must

:26:26. > :26:30.get it right tonight. Tonight... I saw her name at the top of the

:26:31. > :26:43.Reading Festival bill. And not only that. Not only that. I saw our name

:26:44. > :26:48.next to Queens of the Stone Age! CHEERING ??LINEB And so... We must

:26:49. > :26:52.get this part right. It is absolutely crucial. I think to do it

:26:53. > :27:07.we're going to need one of you to get up here and help us out. We had

:27:08. > :27:14.a lot of time go by when we were singing love songs together, so I

:27:15. > :27:26.gotta make this wick. Alright? Make this quick. Alright? So, I think

:27:27. > :27:34.it's pretty simple. I need a dinosaur to come up here and sing

:27:35. > :27:40.Misery Business in front of 8 jillion people. Get on up here. I

:27:41. > :27:44.have seen this dinosaur sing every word to every song we've played

:27:45. > :27:58.tonight. Now this dinosaur is going to perform to you. Give it up for

:27:59. > :28:07.this dinosaur! Hello! Come here. In truce yourself to Reading. My name

:28:08. > :28:12.is Medda and I'm from Denmark. Give it up for her! This is very simple.

:28:13. > :28:17.I think you probably know what to do. I think you've got this. I feel

:28:18. > :28:25.like you look very confident. You got it. Hold on one second. Alright

:28:26. > :28:30.Reading... This is the golden microphone. The golden microphone

:28:31. > :28:36.has seen a lot of places and done a lot of things but it has never

:28:37. > :28:43.headlines Reading Festival. Get it up for the Reading Festival. I

:28:44. > :28:51.present to you... That's yours. Alright, listen. We all got to count

:28:52. > :29:00.her off. Are you ready to do that? OK. Reading, this is how it is going

:29:01. > :29:15.to go. 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4. I know counting is really tough. Here we

:29:16. > :29:42.go. 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4... # Just watch my streets

:29:43. > :29:52.Whoa, I never meant to brag # But I got him where I want him now

:29:53. > :29:54.# Whoa, I never meant to brag # Whoa, it was never my intention to

:29:55. > :30:00.brag # To steal it all away from him now

:30:01. > :30:03.# But God does it feel so good # Because I got him where I want him

:30:04. > :30:07.now # And if you could, then you know

:30:08. > :30:15.you would # God, it just feels so... Give it

:30:16. > :30:35.up! # It just feels so good. Thank you!

:30:36. > :30:38.Thank you dinosaur. Alright. Put on those dancing shoes, Reading. I

:30:39. > :31:01.wanna see it. # You might be the one who's running

:31:02. > :31:03.things # Where you could ring anybody's

:31:04. > :31:16.bell and get what you want # Ain't it good?

:31:17. > :31:22.# Being all alone # Ain't it fun, you can't count on

:31:23. > :31:32.no one # When nobody wants to fool with

:31:33. > :32:00.you? # Ain't it fun?

:32:01. > :32:10.# Living in the real world # Ain't it good?

:32:11. > :32:19.# Being all alone # Ain't it fun, you can't count on

:32:20. > :32:26.no one # Ain't it fun, you can't count on

:32:27. > :32:30.no one # Ain't it fun?

:32:31. > :32:38.# Living in the real world # Cos you're on your own in the real

:32:39. > :32:51.world # Cause you're on your own in the

:32:52. > :32:57.real world # Cause you're on your own in the

:32:58. > :33:04.real world # Cause you're on your own in the

:33:05. > :33:15.real world # Ain't it fun? Ain't it fun?

:33:16. > :33:23.# Baby, now you're one of us # Ain't it fun? Ain't it fun? Ain't

:33:24. > :33:30.# Ain't it fun? # Living in the real world

:33:31. > :33:38.# Ain't it good? Ain't it good? # Being all alone

:33:39. > :33:47.# Cause you're on your own in the real world

:33:48. > :33:58.# Cause you're on your own in the real world

:33:59. > :34:06.# Cause you're on your own in the real world

:34:07. > :34:16.# 'Cause you're on your own in the real world

:34:17. > :34:23.# 'Cause you're on your own in the real world

:34:24. > :34:30.# 'Cause you're on your own in the real world

:34:31. > :34:32.# Don't go crying # Don't go crying

:34:33. > :35:08.# 'Cause you're on your own in the real world

:35:09. > :35:14.# 'Cause you're on your own in the real world

:35:15. > :35:23.# 'Cause you're on your own in the real world

:35:24. > :36:45.# 'Cause you're on your own in the real world

:36:46. > :36:55.CHEERING . I've got some Question Timely.

:36:56. > :37:00.I've never seen the confetti before. What a show! So far so good.

:37:01. > :37:05.Paramore on the Main Stage. It was incredible. You were shaking after

:37:06. > :37:10.the interview. I'm alright now. I've calmed down. How was it? It was

:37:11. > :37:15.brilliant. They've got so much energy. They were loving it and

:37:16. > :37:27.suddenly everything cut out, and you could hear the crowd shout ing mic!

:37:28. > :37:33.Did you panic that you may have stepped on a wire? No, they rolled

:37:34. > :37:46.on for a moment and sat down and got the crowd the sing ach Pella. -- a

:37:47. > :37:52.ka Pella. This song is called The Only Exception. Put your lighters in

:37:53. > :37:55.the air and wave them around like you don't care that there's no sound

:37:56. > :42:31.system. Can I have your autograph?" He runs

:42:32. > :42:35.festival. Was that Melvyn? Probably saying, sorry about that love. That

:42:36. > :42:41.was a lovely moment from Paramore earlier today. Did you cry? I shed a

:42:42. > :42:45.tiny tear. Hey, what links Paramore with your next Treehouse guest? I

:42:46. > :42:55.know the answer and it is your T-shirt. I wore this T-shirt because

:42:56. > :43:02.it was a band called a Now Now. They said, is that your mate from

:43:03. > :43:06.Minneapolis. Mow is it going? We had a great show today. Beautiful

:43:07. > :43:19.weather. The sun was out. Can't complain. What track are you going

:43:20. > :45:20.to play for us? Bus Passes and Happy Meals.

:45:21. > :45:28.right one # Give us time

:45:29. > :45:33.# We promise it will be worth it # Breathe deep ly

:45:34. > :46:32.# Was I ain't never gonna tell a # Breathe deeply

:46:33. > :46:39.# Cause I'm burying you all alive, yeah #.

:46:40. > :46:43.Thank you. That was brilliant. You're amazing. Thank you so much.

:46:44. > :46:48.We've got a lot of performances in the Treehouse this weekend, but I

:46:49. > :46:53.would say that's the one to beat. Thank you so much for having us. You

:46:54. > :46:56.were written about in the Guardian this week saying you are one of the

:46:57. > :47:02.ten things you have to see at this festival. Me? Yes! The crowd was an

:47:03. > :47:12.indication of that. They were all there, crowd surfing, waving. It was

:47:13. > :47:15.amazing. We are going welcome along now Mr Jam.

:47:16. > :47:18.now MrJam. Jam.

:47:19. > :47:26.APPLAUSE 's finest. Welcome to our Treehouse. How was your day? It's

:47:27. > :47:30.been amazing. It is only the second year we've had our own stage here at

:47:31. > :47:34.Reading and Leeds. Just the vibe that you get from the crowd, they

:47:35. > :47:39.know the music that we are playing. They know the artists that are

:47:40. > :47:44.performing. Some of the artists performing this weekend are so big

:47:45. > :47:50.at this time it's the amazing we've got them. Lizzo is about to support

:47:51. > :47:55.Chvrches. An important artist. Very important artist, and she is very

:47:56. > :48:01.much at stage one of her journey. It's been great to be part of that

:48:02. > :48:07.at 1Xtra, championing her early. DJ Semtex was playing stuff off her mix

:48:08. > :48:12.tape before my other DJ knew what it was she did. You see the way she

:48:13. > :48:19.commanded the 1Xtra stage earlier. She's got a bright future ahead of

:48:20. > :48:26.her. A lot of people are like, what is 1Xtra's job? We support artists

:48:27. > :48:30.early and give them careers. Whether it was Disclosure, before anyone

:48:31. > :48:38.else knew who there were, we were supporting her on 1Xtra. Lizzo can

:48:39. > :48:44.go and perform alongside rappers or a band. It is about good quality

:48:45. > :48:48.music. She reminds me of like when you had acts like Kid Sister coming

:48:49. > :48:56.through, they could play on any bill. If someone had said to me five

:48:57. > :49:03.years ago there's going to be a 1Xtra stage, I would say, really?

:49:04. > :49:10.We've got over that Glastonbury, Noel Gallagher and Jay Z thing,

:49:11. > :49:16.black music has no place at a festival. The look at what people

:49:17. > :49:22.are looking at now. Genre boundaries are being broken down. It is not a

:49:23. > :49:27.surprise to see people from a traditional ly indie background

:49:28. > :49:31.working with people from an urban background. I played my set earlier

:49:32. > :49:35.and I've played many festival this is summer. It was one of the best

:49:36. > :49:42.reaction it is I've had. It was amazing. It is traditionally a rock

:49:43. > :49:47.festival, a guitar festival, but it has changed with the times, as the

:49:48. > :49:51.genres are broken down. You don't have to like one style of music any

:49:52. > :49:56.more. I think that Reading and Leeds have done well to expand themselves

:49:57. > :50:01.like that and go you are allowed to like whatever you want and you can

:50:02. > :50:09.like Paramore. You can go and watch Lizo, watch your set. We had Kate

:50:10. > :50:15.Tempest up here. She's amazing. There's a lot of stuff here. If you

:50:16. > :50:22.are not catering for a little bit of something for everyone, you will see

:50:23. > :50:27.why so many festivals are failing. These days you are it is so very

:50:28. > :50:33.hard to find someone who is into just when genre of music. I'm a

:50:34. > :50:39.1Xtra DJ but the last thing I bought is Royal Blood. Their album is

:50:40. > :50:44.amazing. Go and see them tomorrow. Thank you Mr Jam. We are going to

:50:45. > :51:53.see some Metronomy from earlier today.

:51:54. > :52:07.# Love letters. # Love letters.

:52:08. > :52:14.# Love letters all I see # On every day I read

:52:15. > :52:20.# The bits of yellow paper # Addressed from you to me

:52:21. > :52:28.# And every day a chance # Inside a book of stamps

:52:29. > :52:34.# To tell you what I'm up to # And say just how I feel

:52:35. > :52:39.# You've got me writing... # Love letters

:52:40. > :52:45.# I'm always writing # Love letters

:52:46. > :52:50.# You have got me writing # Love letters

:52:51. > :53:03.# I'm always writing # Love letters

:53:04. > :53:10.# From far across the sea # They fly from you to me

:53:11. > :53:22.# But still I get no sleep # Oh my love, don't be mad

:53:23. > :53:29.# 'Cause I'll keep on writing... # Love letters

:53:30. > :53:33.# Yeah, I'll keep on writing # Love letters

:53:34. > :53:44.# Yeah, I'll keep on writing # Love letters
