0:34:56 > 0:34:59Co-writing is a lot of fun when you get with guys, or girls,
0:34:59 > 0:35:03whatever, that you kind of get on the same wavelength

0:35:04 > 0:35:08I was with a couple of great writers and dear friends one morning,
0:35:08 > 0:35:10back in early 2007.
0:35:10 > 0:35:14One is a great record producer named Buddy Cannon, the other is
0:35:14 > 0:35:18a wonderfully talented artist and writer named Jamie Johnson.
0:35:18 > 0:35:21And we were sitting around the table trying to just catch up
0:35:21 > 0:35:24with each other, and all of a sudden somebody says,

0:35:27 > 0:35:29Buddy said, "I don't have an idea."
0:35:29 > 0:35:31Cos you try and bring an idea to a writing session.

0:35:33 > 0:35:37And I said, "Well, I don't really have a great idea either."
0:35:39 > 0:35:43Jamie said, "I'm going through a divorce."
0:35:46 > 0:35:49- I said, "I've seen that movie!" - Fantastic.

0:35:54 > 0:35:56So, Jamie picked up his guitar, and I said,
