:20:54. > :21:02.A triumphant show from The Vaccines earlier today. Unbelievable and

:21:02. > :21:06.they're joining us now. That guy... The big guy? Respect to the people

:21:06. > :21:12.who gave him that opportunity. Yes, respect to him for braving it

:21:12. > :21:17.up there. It was good work! I love it when they hone in on people in

:21:17. > :21:22.the crowd and they know the words and they are like, "Show me, show

:21:22. > :21:27.me, I know the words.". How was it? It was amazing. All things

:21:27. > :21:31.considered, it was amazing. We played in Denmark yesterday and we

:21:31. > :21:34.flew in at 3am this morning and we got to Glasgow and none of our

:21:34. > :21:42.stuff was here and until about ten minutes before stage time we were

:21:42. > :21:50.sort of begging and stealing and borrowing leads and drumsticks. So

:21:50. > :22:00.apparently some people were scared we weren't going to play. It was

:22:00. > :22:01.

:22:01. > :22:05.fantastic all things considered. It is good to hear about these things

:22:05. > :22:09.afterwards. Oh my god that sounds scary.

:22:09. > :22:13.It is fascinating watching the performances with you in the studio

:22:13. > :22:18.because you are going, "The crowd looks massive." You were worried

:22:18. > :22:24.when you were on the stage, it wasn't as big as the crowd for Noel.

:22:24. > :22:27.What do you mean, our crowd was bigger than Noel's? It is amazing,

:22:27. > :22:32.it is weird because you are competing with a wide open space.

:22:32. > :22:36.This is our first time really on like a main stage at a major

:22:36. > :22:42.ecofestival. Last year we were in the tent and it is a more intense

:22:42. > :22:46.environment... Intimate? intimate.

:22:46. > :22:50.And personal. Do you prefer the the tent or main

:22:50. > :22:54.stage? We had a special gig in the tent last year, it is easy because

:22:54. > :22:57.you bounce auft walls and -- off the walls and stuff, but no, today

:22:57. > :23:00.was special. Are festivals a good good way

:23:00. > :23:05.because you have got the new album, but people know that first album so

:23:05. > :23:10.well, those tunes that everybody fell in love with. But is it a

:23:10. > :23:15.great way of teaching the new songs to an audience? It is an important

:23:15. > :23:18.way for us to get good at them because like, you know, the songs

:23:18. > :23:25.we have been playing for the last year-and-a-half are the songs we

:23:25. > :23:29.played every night. The more we get a chance to play the songs, we're

:23:29. > :23:33.giving them justice. You are forced to put in more

:23:33. > :23:38.effort in at festivals, you are not preaching to the converted so you

:23:38. > :23:43.have to up your game. We incorporated songs that we

:23:43. > :23:47.thought would make sense in the set we're playing at the moment. There

:23:47. > :23:53.are songs which are more dancable. Well, the new single went down a

:23:53. > :23:57.storm today? Yes. How have you found the new album?

:23:57. > :24:03.You must have written about it when you were touring around? It is

:24:03. > :24:07.difficult. One thing we were keen to do is avoid making an album

:24:07. > :24:17.about tour tour buses and missing our friend and family. The med

:24:17. > :24:22.olies came from -- melodies came from high rise hotel rooms. When we

:24:22. > :24:26.got days off on tour, we went into like little rehearsal spaces to

:24:26. > :24:30.work things out and we tried loads and loads of different things out,

:24:30. > :24:35.but it came together when we were off tour more than anything else.

:24:35. > :24:40.I have to say Freddie is the person, the only band member that says

:24:40. > :24:45.thank you quicker than anyone else in the world. He knowsI want to say

:24:45. > :24:50.thank you. That's his moment. jurching in there before -- jumping

:24:50. > :24:54.in there before you basically! We are looking forward to the new

:24:54. > :25:00.album and it is going to to get bigger and bigger from here?

:25:00. > :25:05.don't know. The first album did so well so

:25:05. > :25:11.quickly as well. I liken it to being in the eye of a storm, you

:25:11. > :25:16.don't know how well something has been received unless you spend all

:25:16. > :25:21.day day Googling yourself. I don't know how much of an impact that

:25:21. > :25:24.first record had. This next record is ten times times better and we

:25:24. > :25:28.are so proud of it and we put faith in our own taste the first time

:25:28. > :25:33.around and we have done that again and I feel if this record has

:25:33. > :25:36.connected, there is no reason why this one won't even more.

:25:36. > :25:42.Emma wants to know when you are coming to Liverpool next? November

:25:42. > :25:45.actually. We have got a UK tour in November and we, I don't think we

:25:45. > :25:53.have headlined Liverpool yet, but we're going in November.

:25:53. > :26:00.Have you got a date for the new album? 3rd September.

:26:00. > :26:07.And it is called? Come Of Age. Thank you, guys. Enjoy the rest of

:26:07. > :26:13.We're going to head over to Jemma. Yesterday we created this feature

:26:13. > :26:20.which is Jemma's, ask. It is a play on words.

:26:20. > :26:29.Today's Ask has a Scottish theme. I am hanging out in my leather

:26:29. > :26:39.lined pod right now. Taste, and play an instrument. That's going to

:26:39. > :26:53.

:26:53. > :26:58.be easy in the mud and the rain. I'm hungry. I need to get some food.

:26:59. > :27:08.Haddock and onions. It is fantastic. Over there.

:27:09. > :27:12.

:27:12. > :27:15.This smells delicious. This has done me good. Right, what's next?

:27:15. > :27:19.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Hello mate. I'm Jemma. I really

:27:19. > :27:25.need your help? Yeah. I need to learn an instrument and

:27:25. > :27:30.you've got a big one. LAUGHTER

:27:30. > :27:40.I'm going to pass out! It is very difficult.

:27:40. > :27:42.

:27:43. > :27:50.You blow. You blow.

:27:50. > :27:57.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE And another task completed. Thank

:27:57. > :28:01.Very good. She didn't have enough blow in her there.

:28:01. > :28:05.She is better at those things than I was last year. I had to be in a

:28:05. > :28:09.canteen for a bit and I dropped some hot tea on someone and they

:28:09. > :28:12.made a complaint to the BBC. I was not allowed to do it again. It was

:28:12. > :28:15.awful. It was such a deliberate way of

:28:15. > :28:20.getting out of trying to play the bagpipes, Greg.

:28:20. > :28:25.I have got to head off. I'm leaving you on your own for a bit, but you

:28:25. > :28:28.have got The Maccabees coming in to keep you company. I'm going to get

:28:28. > :28:32.Noel Gallagher and chat to him as he comes off stage. He is on stage

:28:33. > :28:39.right now. There is a huge crowd there to see Noel. Look, they have
