:00:00. > :00:30.Hallo, good evening and welcome to T In The Park from the picturesque

:00:31. > :00:37.sass -- Strathallan Castle. We are with you all over the weekend on BBC

:00:38. > :00:40.Scotland and BBC 4, bringing you the best of the festival. We are

:00:41. > :00:45.backstage in the artist area. I will show you more of that through the

:00:46. > :00:52.weekend. We have a lovely selection of music coming up from the likes of

:00:53. > :00:57.Disclosure, Alesso, Frightened Rabbit and Bear's Den, to name a

:00:58. > :01:02.few. Let's start with a bad return to T In The Park for their sixth

:01:03. > :01:05.time. -- let's start with a band returning. They played at King Tut's

:01:06. > :01:21.Wah Wah Hut. This is The Coral. # What's up with my heart

:01:22. > :01:24.when it skips a beat? # Can't feel no pavement

:01:25. > :01:29.right under my feet # Up in my lonely room

:01:30. > :01:34.When I'm dreaming of you # I still need you,

:01:35. > :01:44.but I don't want you now # When I'm down

:01:45. > :01:59.and my hands are tied # I cannot reach a pen

:02:00. > :02:04.for me to draw the line # From this pain

:02:05. > :02:09.I just can't disguise # It's gonna hurt

:02:10. > :02:13.but I'll have to say goodbye # Up in my lonely room

:02:14. > :02:18.When I'm dreaming of you # I still need you,

:02:19. > :02:58.but I don't want you now # Up in my lonely room

:02:59. > :03:13.When I'm dreaming of you # I still need you,

:03:14. > :03:34.but I don't want you now. # Thanks very much. This is our last

:03:35. > :04:00.song. # Black as a devil

:04:01. > :04:17.She has a scalder kiss # Walk in the shadow

:04:18. > :04:27.Soft as a whisper, yeah # You've taken everything you want

:04:28. > :04:38.Then you vanish in the mist # Black is approaching

:04:39. > :04:46.Ghosts are in the sky # Voices are calling

:04:47. > :04:56.But there's nowhere left to hide # Passion is damnation

:04:57. > :05:36.Like a moth to the light # Black as a devil

:05:37. > :05:44.Sweet as a summer breeze # Deep from the night sky

:05:45. > :05:54.Trying to steal my dreams # I will be your prisoner

:05:55. > :09:30.Inside the fear machine. # One of the things I love about The

:09:31. > :09:34.Coral is you can always expect a bit of drama on stage when they play a

:09:35. > :09:38.festival. They finally got round to releasing a new album after six

:09:39. > :09:44.years. It came out earlier this year and it's fantastic. The Coral

:09:45. > :09:47.nailing it earlier at King Tut's. If you would like to see more highlight

:09:48. > :09:58.over the weekend, we will be feeding the website and the iPlayer as we

:09:59. > :10:02.get things in, so check it out. We will put performances are as and

:10:03. > :10:07.when we get them. There will be loads up there as we get through the

:10:08. > :10:10.weekend at T In The Park. We would also like to hear your thoughts and

:10:11. > :10:23.opinions on the performances, so please get in touch, either on

:10:24. > :10:26.Twitter or Instagram. Next up, a band making their T In The Park

:10:27. > :10:29.debut who are about to release their second album in two weeks. This is

:10:30. > :10:59.the brilliant Bear's Den. # Yeah, I know that

:11:00. > :11:09.I have got this all wrong # Even though your

:11:10. > :11:27.words hurt the most # I wanna believe every

:11:28. > :11:42.word that you say # And I don't know

:11:43. > :11:50.what I can do about it # So tell me how long

:11:51. > :11:58.love before you go # I don't want to know

:11:59. > :12:23.who I am without you # Yeah, I know that

:12:24. > :12:33.I have got this all wrong # And I don't know

:12:34. > :12:54.what I can do about it # So tell me how long

:12:55. > :12:59.love before you go # I don't want to know

:13:00. > :13:12.who I am without you # And I don't know

:13:13. > :13:38.what I can do about it # So tell me how long

:13:39. > :13:44.love before you go # So tell me how long

:13:45. > :13:55.love before you go # I don't want to know

:13:56. > :14:09.who I am without you # I don't want to know who I am

:14:10. > :14:30.without you. # If I am being completely honest, I

:14:31. > :14:35.had no idea there were so many members of Bear's Den, but they were

:14:36. > :14:40.wonderful earlier on today on the King Tut's stage live at the huge

:14:41. > :14:45.blue tent. It is my first time at this site, the second time T In The

:14:46. > :14:48.Park has been held here at Strathallan Castle, overlooked by

:14:49. > :14:54.this wonderful castle. I spent a lot of time wandering round, getting my

:14:55. > :14:59.bearings. There is loads of space. We are surrounded by a wonderful

:15:00. > :15:02.forest, overlooked by this Castle. It's beautiful and it feels like

:15:03. > :15:07.there is loads of space for everyone. Hopefully we can give you

:15:08. > :15:11.an idea of that through the weekend, bringing you as many performances as

:15:12. > :15:15.physically possible. Now we are going head to the main stage and a

:15:16. > :15:20.man who is no stranger T In The Park. I remember doing something

:15:21. > :15:33.with them on Radio 1 where I was persuaded, blackmail, I don't know

:15:34. > :15:35.what the right word is, to try and do the Ne;lly Furtado part of this

:15:36. > :15:41.song. This is James Morrison. # I try to hold on,

:15:42. > :16:20.but it hurts too much # I try to forgive, but it's not

:16:21. > :16:29.enough to make it all OK # You can't feel anything

:16:30. > :16:42.that your heart don't want to feel # I can't tell you something

:16:43. > :16:46.that ain't real # When I love you

:16:47. > :17:05.a little less than before? # It's like chasing the very last

:17:06. > :17:38.train when it's too late # I try to hold on,

:17:39. > :17:47.but it hurts too much # I try to forgive, but it's not

:17:48. > :17:54.enough to make it all OK # You can't feel anything that your

:17:55. > :18:08.heart don't want to feel # I can't tell something

:18:09. > :18:12.that ain't real # When I love you

:18:13. > :18:29.a little less than before? # It's like chasing

:18:30. > :18:47.the very last train # You can't feel anything that your

:18:48. > :19:00.heart don't want to feel # I can't tell you something

:19:01. > :19:06.that ain't real # When I love you

:19:07. > :19:32.a little less than before? # It's the last chance

:19:33. > :19:57.to feel again. # She did a great job, didn't she?

:19:58. > :20:03.Amazing. Much better job than anyone else could have done there. I'm now

:20:04. > :20:08.joined by Scott and Grant from Frightened Rabbit, thanks for coming

:20:09. > :20:13.in. Thanks for having us. I went round to what you in the buggy early

:20:14. > :20:18.on. We had a short window of opportunity, it was like, got to

:20:19. > :20:24.watch them. T in the Park is a special one for you. You came here

:20:25. > :20:28.as music fans before, didn't you? First weekend I was here I saw Fun

:20:29. > :20:35.Lovin Criminals, who are here tonight. Stereophonics. Yeah, it's a

:20:36. > :20:41.really special festival, you know. I remember finding a little bottle of

:20:42. > :20:50.beer and opening it against a fence, sharing the study. Drinking beer?

:20:51. > :20:56.No, ma'am, I wasn't drinking beer. She's going to be disappointed.

:20:57. > :21:00.She'll be chuffed to get a mention. Congratulations on the album, which

:21:01. > :21:04.is wonderful. You're getting a great response from that well from the

:21:05. > :21:11.fans. You spend two years making something, then... We were talking

:21:12. > :21:18.about this earlier, when you take that long to make something and then

:21:19. > :21:23.putting it out... It's like doing exams or something. It's like exam

:21:24. > :21:28.day or something. When it comes out and people actually connect with it,

:21:29. > :21:33.it's amazing that people actually still care about Frightened Rabbit

:21:34. > :21:45.after all this time. It's been a long time. How long? Ten years. We

:21:46. > :21:55.are not old. I'm quite old. OK, then I'm... I am younger. You'll always

:21:56. > :21:59.be youngest one. How do you go about picking the set now. You have this

:22:00. > :22:03.amazing collection of songs, you've got those found to be never the

:22:04. > :22:09.start. You've also got this new set of fans who are discovering you now.

:22:10. > :22:13.If that something you think about when you're putting together a set

:22:14. > :22:22.for a festival? I mean you have to, you know, and it differs each

:22:23. > :22:25.festival. This is obviously, in Scotland people have been listening

:22:26. > :22:32.for a bit longer than Belgium for example. Use that as an example. You

:22:33. > :22:37.have to think, what will people actually want to hear at this

:22:38. > :22:40.festival. You have to leave out songs people are really going to

:22:41. > :22:44.want to hear and they are going to get angry and treat you later,

:22:45. > :22:48.saying, why didn't you play this? If they given us a three hour set we'd

:22:49. > :22:57.have played everything but we're not Bruce Springsteen. Do you tweet

:22:58. > :23:01.back? It depends. In case of any bottles of beer you found. It was

:23:02. > :23:05.difficult when we went on to after the album was released, dropping

:23:06. > :23:14.songs that have been in the set for six years, five years. It makes it

:23:15. > :23:19.harder. It reinvigorates the set for us to put in new songs. And play

:23:20. > :23:24.them and see how the crowd reacts to that. You've just come back from...

:23:25. > :23:27.Are you going back out to the States? You've just been in the

:23:28. > :23:33.States, what an amazing response you've had. Congratulations, that

:23:34. > :23:37.must blow your mind. It's weird. It's strange to be so well-received

:23:38. > :23:42.somewhere like that, somewhere that's far away. We always dream

:23:43. > :23:48.duff touring the US. Then all of a sudden, you know, we've got this

:23:49. > :23:51.audience that... I think people really, really like Scottish stuff

:23:52. > :23:57.over there, any Scottish stuff. The accent. You should do dancing with

:23:58. > :24:03.the stars over there. You've not seen my dancing. Give me half an

:24:04. > :24:08.hour. Tell you what, we'll play you, I'll show you my dancing, then you

:24:09. > :24:14.should never have suggested that. As in, thank you so much for popping

:24:15. > :24:22.in. We're going to watch you now earlier on in the King Tuts

:24:23. > :24:31.Strathallan tent. Frightened Rabbit earlier on today... -- the King

:24:32. > :24:55.# Between her thumb and her forefinger

:24:56. > :25:20.# Chased it and for a minute I was floating dead above myself

:25:21. > :25:33.# I saw a glimmer in the dark She won't, she won't

:25:34. > :25:38.# And now I know she won't get out of my heart

:25:39. > :26:03.# Stick me to your lip and draw a scarlet O

:26:04. > :26:25.# I saw a glimmer in the dark She won't, she won't

:26:26. > :26:32.# And now I know she won't get out of my heart

:26:33. > :27:10.# And there's a heavenly scar She won't, she won't

:27:11. > :27:13.# That let's me know she won't get out of my heart

:27:14. > :27:43.CHEERING How's everyone doing, you all right?

:27:44. > :28:16.CHEERING This is called Living in Colour.

:28:17. > :28:27.# Living in colour # Living in colour

:28:28. > :28:30.# I'm floating # My eyes float

:28:31. > :28:55.# I'm soaking # Living in colour, living in

:28:56. > :28:59.colour, I can see the paint on your toes

:29:00. > :29:14.# Living in colour, living even in the blackout I know

:29:15. > :29:25.# # She pokes the iris, then she

:29:26. > :29:40.pierced a hole # And watched the colour rush for

:29:41. > :29:45.# # Living in colour, living in

:29:46. > :29:48.colour, I can see the paint on your toes

:29:49. > :29:55.# Living in colour, living even in the blackout, I know

:29:56. > :30:00.# Living in colour, living in colour # I can see the paint on your toes

:30:01. > :30:06.# Living in colour, living even as I blackout I know

:30:07. > :30:11.# And though I dreamt with a rapid eye

:30:12. > :30:15.# By day I hope to rapidly die # And have my organs laid on ice

:30:16. > :30:19.# Wait for somebody that would treat them right

:30:20. > :30:23.# And as the night started swallowing

:30:24. > :30:25.# You put the blood to my blue lips # Forced the life through still

:30:26. > :30:34.veins # Filled my heart with red again

:30:35. > :30:42.# Living in colour, living in colour # I can see the paint on your toes

:30:43. > :30:44.# Living in colour, living even in the blackout, I know.

:30:45. > :30:48.# Living in colour, living in colour # I can see the paint on your toes

:30:49. > :31:10.# Living in colour, living even in the blackout, I know.

:31:11. > :31:18.Thank you! The excellent Frightened Rabbit.

:31:19. > :31:27.Check out a new album. It's brilliant. Thank you for getting in

:31:28. > :31:32.touch. You can find us on Twitter or Instagram at @bbctinthepark, or on

:31:33. > :31:37.the hashtag #BBCTITP. Andy is watching at home. He says he is too

:31:38. > :31:42.old for T In The Park. You are never too old for that. Dan was delighted

:31:43. > :31:48.to see The Coral on and he says it has been too long. Chloe is loving

:31:49. > :31:54.Bear's Den. We think there are exciting times at it, too. I think

:31:55. > :31:58.so, too. Now some more music, a band that grant mentioned that he saw at

:31:59. > :32:26.his first ever T In The Park. It is Fun Lovin Criminals.

:32:27. > :32:38.# I talk of things that might be to her

:32:39. > :32:42.# In a voice that makes her pulse rush

:32:43. > :32:54.# Ritmo si mena ritmo si I watch her dance man

:32:55. > :33:08.# Woke up with you might roll over you

:33:09. > :33:16.# He had her love but he had to leave it

:33:17. > :33:29.# I know her love man and you just can't beat it

:33:30. > :33:32.# I just know baby it's not bad to love

:33:33. > :33:36.# So why the face girl? So why the face girl?

:33:37. > :34:17.# Just like she owns it walk down that street

:34:18. > :34:20.# Yeah, with a boom boom and a boom boom

:34:21. > :35:43.# See, I can tell # Yes, I can tell

:35:44. > :35:51.the ladies loving it a bit, Fun Lovin Criminals on the main stage

:35:52. > :35:56.earlier on. We've still got music to come from Disclosure and Alesso but

:35:57. > :36:00.now we are going to go to a band and I think it is their seventh time

:36:01. > :36:13.playing at T In The Park. This is the Courteeners.

:36:14. > :36:17.# You're just like Plasticine Being moulded into a libertine dream

:36:18. > :36:25.# But you're not and you should know better

:36:26. > :36:27.# I'll gather my thoughts on a notepad

:36:28. > :36:30.# With a Parker pen Write you a letter

:36:31. > :36:34.# But there's not enough paper in the world

:36:35. > :36:50.# You've got an OK jacket but you've got no spine

:36:51. > :37:10.# Come on, please vacate this city of mine

:37:11. > :37:14.# I only wish you had the song to back up your talk about love

:37:18. > :37:21.# In an ancient bar that nobody goes in

:37:22. > :37:28.# Did you win? Did you what, so no-one cares

:37:29. > :37:58.# You're just like Plasticine You're moulded into a libertine dream

:37:59. > :38:05.# If you were 13 I'd let you off but you're not and you should know bette

:42:30. > :42:56.# It's not big and you're definitely not clever. #

:42:57. > :43:20.What a huge crowd for the Courteeners earlier on. I saw Liam

:43:21. > :43:23.leaving just before we came on air, and he was walking with an

:43:24. > :43:29.incredibly large selection of shirts. I guess he went with the

:43:30. > :43:32.camouflage, the one that most went with the pastel coloured chalk dust

:43:33. > :43:38.that they had during the performance. That is my new

:43:39. > :43:41.favourite thing at festivals so far this summer. We are in the artist

:43:42. > :43:47.area, it's quite quiet. There is music still on and we are going to

:43:48. > :43:53.head over to the Radio 1 stage and catch Alesso live in a bit. First,

:43:54. > :43:57.two young lads who have worked their way up here at T In The Park. They

:43:58. > :44:02.went from King Tut's to the Radio 1 stage and this year they are second

:44:03. > :44:08.top on the main stage. This is the wonderful Disclosure.

:44:09. > :44:57.Scotland, this is a brand-new one for you guys.

:44:58. > :45:39.# She's the bars and I'm an old romantic doing favours I don't look

:45:40. > :45:44.good on paper # But when she looks behind these

:45:45. > :45:48.eyes girl I can see the psychic and baby I like it

:45:49. > :45:59.# I don't look good on paper But when she looks behind these

:46:00. > :46:09.# I don't look good on paper an old romantic doing favours

:46:10. > :46:12.# But when she looks behind these eyes girl I can see

:46:13. > :46:52.# She's the boss and I'm an old romantic doing favours

:46:53. > :46:57.# But when she looks behind these eyes girl I can see

:46:58. > :47:04.# She's the boss and I'm an old romantic doing favours

:47:05. > :47:18.# But when she looks behind these eyes girl I can see

:47:19. > :47:21.The psychic and baby I like it

:47:22. > :47:24.# She's the boss and I'm an old romantic doing favours

:47:25. > :47:32.# But when she looks behind these eyes girl I can see

:47:33. > :47:49.#The psychic and baby I like it

:47:50. > :47:52.# She's the boss and I'm an old romantic doing favours

:47:53. > :47:57.# But when she looks behind these eyes girl I can see

:47:58. > :48:10.# She's the boss and I'm an old romantic doing favours

:48:11. > :48:14.# But when she looks behind these eyes girl I can see

:48:15. > :48:21.# She's the boss and I'm an old romantic doing favours

:48:22. > :48:28.# But when she looks behind these eyes girl I can see

:48:29. > :48:57.All right, that was pretty good, but I read and we can take it up a

:48:58. > :49:06.notch, I reckon we've still got some more to give. T in the Park, one

:49:07. > :49:47.more song? CHEERING All right, we've got this.

:49:48. > :49:54.# You lift my heart up when the rest of me is down
