:00:00. > :00:11.David Cameron is facing calls from Labour to release further

:00:12. > :00:13.information about his financial affairs, after his tax returns

:00:14. > :00:20.were published in the wake of the Panama Papers.

:00:21. > :00:27.The Labour leader says it isn't enough. I want to see the papers. We

:00:28. > :00:31.need to know what he has returned as a tax return. We need to know

:00:32. > :00:38.finally put this money overseas in the first place.

:00:39. > :00:48.With a statement before Parliament to tomorrow, we'll be asking how far

:00:49. > :00:52.the push for transparency will go. Also tonight, a fire kills more than

:00:53. > :00:58.100 people in India after a firework display goes wrong.

:00:59. > :01:01.In Macedonia, police used tear gas and stun grenades after migrants try

:01:02. > :01:06.to force their way across the border.

:01:07. > :01:14.The Duke and Duchess have to be a hit on their world tour of India.

:01:15. > :01:14.And Jordan Spieth moves closer to back-to-back victories at the

:01:15. > :01:36.Masters. David Cameron is facing calls

:01:37. > :01:39.from Labour to release further information about his financial

:01:40. > :01:41.affairs, after his tax returns were published in the wake

:01:42. > :01:43.of the Panama Papers. Mr Cameron became the first

:01:44. > :01:46.Prime Minister to make such a move. He was followed by Scottish First

:01:47. > :01:48.Minister Nicola Sturgeon, who has joined other

:01:49. > :01:50.Scottish party leaders As our political correspondent

:01:51. > :01:53.Carole Walker reports there is now pressure for more transparency

:01:54. > :01:55.from politicians - David Cameron has admitted it has

:01:56. > :01:59.not been a great week under relentless pressure

:02:00. > :02:03.over his financial affairs. Now he has given more detail

:02:04. > :02:12.on his income and taxes With some demonstrating anger

:02:13. > :02:15.over his handling of the affair, he has published a summary

:02:16. > :02:17.of his finances Last year, his income

:02:18. > :02:22.was just over ?200,000. ?140,000 of that was his

:02:23. > :02:26.salary as Prime Minister. He received nearly ?47,000

:02:27. > :02:29.by renting out his London home. We already knew he had sold shares

:02:30. > :02:34.in the Blairmore offshore fund set up by his late father for ?30,000

:02:35. > :02:42.before he became Prime Minister. But the documents show he also sold

:02:43. > :02:48.other shares in 2010 worth ?72,000 The Labour leader said

:02:49. > :02:54.there are more unanswered questions. We need to know what he actually

:02:55. > :02:59.returned as a tax return. We need to know why he put this

:03:00. > :03:05.money overseas in the first place, and whether he made anything out

:03:06. > :03:08.of it or not before 2010 The Prime Minister has now taken

:03:09. > :03:16.the unprecedented step I think the people who need to do

:03:17. > :03:20.this are Prime Minister Jeremy Corbyn has said

:03:21. > :03:24.he will do this. There are questions

:03:25. > :03:27.to about inheritance tax. We already knew David Cameron had

:03:28. > :03:31.received ?300,000 Now it has emerged his mother

:03:32. > :03:38.gave him a further ?200,000. Downing Street said this

:03:39. > :03:42.was to share the inheritance after his father's death in 2010

:03:43. > :03:46.more fairly between him and his brother, and strongly denied

:03:47. > :03:49.the suggestion it was done to avoid That is where the state encourages

:03:50. > :03:58.you to behave in a certain way and you follow it

:03:59. > :04:00.and get a tax benefit. ISAs, pensions, inheritance tax

:04:01. > :04:04.planning are planning and not avoidance and we need to be very

:04:05. > :04:08.careful how we treat this. This afternoon, Scotland's First

:04:09. > :04:10.Minister Nicola Sturgeon Scotland's other political leaders

:04:11. > :04:16.have already done so. It shows her only income

:04:17. > :04:22.is her salary of almost ?105,000. It is for every politician

:04:23. > :04:25.to make their own decision. Certainly those who lead parties,

:04:26. > :04:30.there is a good argument that we should do that and I am

:04:31. > :04:35.happy to make that commitment. Now there is pressure for other

:04:36. > :04:38.senior ministers to publish details of their finances too

:04:39. > :04:40.and for the government to do more to ensure the wealthy

:04:41. > :04:51.pay their fair share of tax. Carole joins me now

:04:52. > :05:03.from Downing Street. What did we learn today and where

:05:04. > :05:06.does it go from here? Tomorrow the Prime Minister will make that

:05:07. > :05:11.statement in Parliament setting out the government's approach to this at

:05:12. > :05:17.the end of a momentous week for him, at the end of which he has set a new

:05:18. > :05:21.bar for standards of transparency at the top of British politics. Downing

:05:22. > :05:26.Street always knew however much information they put out there would

:05:27. > :05:30.always be demands for more and we have seen some of that today but he

:05:31. > :05:36.will hope he can now get onto the front foot to talk about measures

:05:37. > :05:40.the government has taken and measures they will take against tax

:05:41. > :05:46.evasion and avoidance. He will also come under pressure to do more to

:05:47. > :05:51.change the whole tax system, which Labour say is unfair because the

:05:52. > :05:55.wealthy have options to reduce tax bills which are not available to

:05:56. > :06:01.those at the other end of the scale, and that challenge for David Cameron

:06:02. > :06:07.will be to convince the public that under his attack system is fair and

:06:08. > :06:08.he is putting in place measures to ensure the rich pay their fair share

:06:09. > :06:10.of tax. More than a hundred people have been

:06:11. > :06:13.killed in an explosion and fire at a temple in southern India -

:06:14. > :06:15.sparked by a fireworks It happened in Paravur in the state

:06:16. > :06:19.of Kerala, where thousands had Our correspondent Yogita Limaye's

:06:20. > :06:22.report contains flashing Then, a spark ignited

:06:23. > :06:45.a store of firecrackers. Witnesses say a part

:06:46. > :06:52.of the temple complex collapsed. It took hours for firemen to battle

:06:53. > :06:55.the blaze that followed, and pull out anyone they could find

:06:56. > :06:58.alive. Thousands had gathered to take part

:06:59. > :07:03.in the local festival. This man had travelled

:07:04. > :07:05.from a village He suffered injuries

:07:06. > :07:13.on his back and leg. TRANSLATION: One firecracker landed

:07:14. > :07:16.on the place where all the fireworks were stored, and suddenly

:07:17. > :07:21.there was a globe of fire. A building next to

:07:22. > :07:23.the temple collapsed. Concrete pieces flew off from it

:07:24. > :07:26.and hit me on my back. I could not move for half an hour

:07:27. > :07:30.until I was rescued. This is where people have been

:07:31. > :07:32.coming all through the day to find out if their loved ones are

:07:33. > :07:36.in this hospital or not. This medical facility

:07:37. > :07:39.is where the injured and the dead from the fire were first rushed

:07:40. > :07:42.to because it is closest to the temple, and it is perhaps

:07:43. > :07:45.the worst ever disaster this local hospital has ever had to

:07:46. > :07:50.deal with. But many didn't have

:07:51. > :07:52.a chance to escape. Some bodies were so

:07:53. > :07:58.badly hurt it has not India's Prime Minister,

:07:59. > :08:04.Narendra Modi, flew down to Kerala with a team of specialist

:08:05. > :08:10.doctors to treat the victims. TRANSLATION: The Indian government

:08:11. > :08:12.is completely with Kerala and its grieving families

:08:13. > :08:16.during this time of trouble. The incident is so horrendous,

:08:17. > :08:19.that it is difficult Local authorities have said

:08:20. > :08:24.the temple did not have permission Police in Macedonia used tear gas

:08:25. > :08:40.and stun grenades today to push back at migrants who tried to scale

:08:41. > :08:43.a fence on the Greek border. More than 11,000 people have been

:08:44. > :08:46.stranded at Idomeni on the Greek side of the border since Balkan

:08:47. > :08:49.closed off a key route Running away from the border they

:08:50. > :09:04.are desperate to cross, migrants choke on tear gas and

:09:05. > :09:06.dodge rubber bullets. Some throw stones at the Macedonian

:09:07. > :09:09.police on the other Earlier hundreds had

:09:10. > :09:16.gathered at the fence that separates Greece from Macedonia

:09:17. > :09:18.and they believe them from the better future they came

:09:19. > :09:20.here for. They were responding to rumours that

:09:21. > :09:23.after weeks of closure, When they realised

:09:24. > :09:25.the rumours were false TRANSLATION: Even before we reached

:09:26. > :09:35.the fence they started firing at us, so we ran away but they reacted,

:09:36. > :09:39.they used tear gas and they fired stun grenades

:09:40. > :09:41.and rubber belts. Macedonian police deny firing rubber

:09:42. > :09:45.bullets but said they'd used The wind brought tear

:09:46. > :09:54.gas fumes into this camp on the Greek side of

:09:55. > :09:57.the border, where more Many of them, including

:09:58. > :09:59.small children, suffered We treated around

:10:00. > :10:15.200 people for tear gas, mostly men but also women

:10:16. > :10:17.and children We had around 34 trauma patients

:10:18. > :10:20.and some people come in Greece has condemned

:10:21. > :10:25.the use off tear gas by Macedonian police

:10:26. > :10:30.as dangerous and deplorable. Tonight calm has been

:10:31. > :10:33.restored here, as has become the grim morality as thousands sit

:10:34. > :10:36.and wait in the hope that Belgian prosecutors say the bombers

:10:37. > :10:47.who carried out last month's attacks in Brussels

:10:48. > :10:49.had originally been The man suspected of being

:10:50. > :10:52.the surviving bomber - Mohamed Abrini - is reported to have

:10:53. > :10:55.said the group changed their plans after realising police

:10:56. > :10:57.were closing in. He was arrested in Brussels

:10:58. > :11:01.on Friday. A tractor driver has suffered

:11:02. > :11:04.serious injuries in a train crash 135 passengers were

:11:05. > :11:09.on the train at the time - half a dozen were treated

:11:10. > :11:11.for minor injuries. The train was heading to Cambridge

:11:12. > :11:14.from Norwich when it collided with the tractor on the crossing

:11:15. > :11:19.just outside Thetford. Around 9000 pupils in Edinburgh

:11:20. > :11:23.are unlikely to return to school at the end of the Easter

:11:24. > :11:26.holidays tomorrow morning because of the sudden closure of 17

:11:27. > :11:31.schools on safety grounds. They were all built by the same

:11:32. > :11:34.private finance contractor and serious structural issues have

:11:35. > :11:38.been uncovered at one of them. Our Scotland correspondent

:11:39. > :11:51.James Shaw is in Edinburgh What are the chances of them getting

:11:52. > :11:55.back to school soon? We don't know that at this point, that is for the

:11:56. > :12:00.Council and the construction firm to decide when the buildings are safe

:12:01. > :12:05.but it is a serious problem for a lot of errands in Aber because the

:12:06. > :12:11.council made the decision so late on Friday night and didn't have time

:12:12. > :12:16.for alternative provision so parents are wondering what to do with their

:12:17. > :12:21.children tomorrow morning. The council has said they are working on

:12:22. > :12:26.solutions, there may be alternative provision on Tuesday but meanwhile

:12:27. > :12:30.an anxious time for pupils who expect exams in the next few days

:12:31. > :12:35.and weeks, and the Scottish educational secretary, Angela

:12:36. > :12:41.Constance, has written to all Scotland's councils advising them to

:12:42. > :12:42.do all the checks they need to do to make sure their school buildings are

:12:43. > :12:45.safe. The BBC has found leaflets

:12:46. > :12:47.in a London mosque calling for the killing of Ahmadi Muslims,

:12:48. > :12:50.a sect of Islam regarded by some Muslims as being

:12:51. > :12:53.outside their faith. There's growing concern about

:12:54. > :12:55.anti-Ahmadi prejudice in the UK after the murder of the Glasgow

:12:56. > :12:58.shopkeeper Asad Shah, claimed to have been

:12:59. > :13:01.on religious grounds. The leaflets found in the London

:13:02. > :13:05.mosque have surfaced before in 2011, though the mosque's trustee has

:13:06. > :13:08.again insisted to the BBC Our Religious Affairs Correspondent

:13:09. > :13:18.Caroline Wyatt reports. Asad Shah, filmed last August behind

:13:19. > :13:21.the counter of the shop he and his family

:13:22. > :13:23.ran for many years. He was killed in March,

:13:24. > :13:26.a killing that may have been He was an Ahmadi, a sect of Islam

:13:27. > :13:30.that suffered persecution Breaking news, mosques in the city

:13:31. > :13:49.of Lahore under attack. It was five or six minutes later

:13:50. > :13:55.and we heard gunshots. This Muslim who now lives

:13:56. > :13:57.in London survived the attack in Lahore when gunmen killed 90

:13:58. > :14:02.worshippers at two mosques in 2010. There were leaflets being handed out

:14:03. > :14:15.to different people, different clerics inciting,

:14:16. > :14:17.it is lucky that sort happened yet, but if it carries

:14:18. > :14:25.on like this it is not far. But hatred against the Ahmadi

:14:26. > :14:33.sect is not new there. In 2011 the BBC asked the leader

:14:34. > :14:36.of this South London mosque about leaflets in Pakistan Britain

:14:37. > :14:39.by a missionary group calling They gave his mosque's address

:14:40. > :14:48.as their London base. At the time, Mr Qureshi,

:14:49. > :15:00.awarded an MBE for work in interfaith relations,

:15:01. > :15:02.denied any link with the leaflet. We are very angry and furious

:15:03. > :15:05.about that, they contacted the authorities in Pakistan

:15:06. > :15:07.that our name is being falsely used and we do not have any link with

:15:08. > :15:11.this organisation promoting hate. The BBC found further connections

:15:12. > :15:17.between the group and the mosque. Charity Commission documents

:15:18. > :15:21.for the UK-based charity list the mosque's address as their main

:15:22. > :15:24.address and four of the charity's trustees are also on the board

:15:25. > :15:26.of the mosque. The mosque itself is still listed

:15:27. > :15:28.as the overseas address We have discovered these leaflets

:15:29. > :15:32.inside the mosque that openly advocate the killing of Ahmadis

:15:33. > :15:34.who will not convert to mainstream So we asked Mr Qureshi

:15:35. > :15:43.about the latest leaflets and what his mosque's

:15:44. > :15:48.links were with them. These pamphlets are not

:15:49. > :15:50.produced by our charity, They have been produced

:15:51. > :15:54.maliciously by someone else. So does he admit any link

:15:55. > :15:56.between the mosque There is a link that one

:15:57. > :16:18.would need advice or literature on that issue,

:16:19. > :16:20.we would seek advice from them. In Glasgow as friends and neighbours

:16:21. > :16:30.continue to mourn the death of Asad Shah, some fear the religious

:16:31. > :16:32.intolerance towards Ahmadis seen elsewhere in the world

:16:33. > :16:34.is also taking root here. And you can hear more on that story

:16:35. > :16:37.in The Deobandis on Radio 4 With all the sport, here's Ore Oduba

:16:38. > :16:41.at the BBC Sport Centre. Jordan Speith is closing

:16:42. > :16:45.in on another historic win at the Masters golf,

:16:46. > :16:47.after a near faultless 12 months ago, the American took

:16:48. > :16:50.the title, equalling the lowest ever Should he clinch the green

:16:51. > :16:53.jacket again tonight, Spieth would join an elite club

:16:54. > :17:04.of back-to-back winners, 18 holes from history... But if he

:17:05. > :17:12.was feeding any nerves, he wasn't giving them as Jordan Spieth set

:17:13. > :17:15.about building on his 1-shot lead. As for re-Michael White, from five

:17:16. > :17:27.adrift he had to start well but didn't. A string of furry -- early

:17:28. > :17:32.errors adding to his frustration. Danny Wilkes edged into contention

:17:33. > :17:40.while Lee Westwood was also in the hunt. There was disappointment for

:17:41. > :17:45.Bernhard Langer. At 58, hoping to become the oldest ever major winner,

:17:46. > :17:52.his hopes seem to have vanished. Instead it is the man 36 years his

:17:53. > :17:57.junior stealing but show, Jordan Spieth opening up a four shot lead.

:17:58. > :18:03.But no doubting the shots of the day so far. Three holes in one including

:18:04. > :18:09.this extraordinary effort from Louis who stays in with a little help from

:18:10. > :18:12.his partner's ball, out of contention for the title but not a

:18:13. > :18:19.bad consolation prize. And here's the latest

:18:20. > :18:30.scorecard at Augusta. Jordan Spieth leading by five shots

:18:31. > :18:35.after nine holes. Danny Willett is his closest rival at two under par.

:18:36. > :18:37.Match of the Day 2 and, in Scotland, Sportscene follow

:18:38. > :18:42.So if you don't want to know today's football results, time to look away.

:18:43. > :18:45.Leicester City are now just three wins away from the

:18:46. > :18:48.Jamie Vardy with both goals in a 2-0 win over

:18:49. > :18:59.The victory guarantees Lester Champions League will next season.

:19:00. > :19:01.Second-placed Tottenham kept the pressure on the leaders

:19:02. > :19:02.with a 3-0 win over Manchester United.

:19:03. > :19:05.Spurs are seven points behind with five games to play.

:19:06. > :19:06.Liverpool were 4-1 winners over Stoke.

:19:07. > :19:09.And three English clubs will contest the semi-finals of rugby's

:19:10. > :19:11.European Champions Cup after Leicester Tigers thrashed

:19:12. > :19:16.They join Wasps and Saracens in the last four, after running

:19:17. > :19:20.in six tries in a 41-13 victory - a record European defeat

:19:21. > :19:31.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge managed to get some cricket

:19:35. > :19:37.They're in Mumbai, where they also met survivors of the 2008 terrorist

:19:38. > :19:41.attacks, visited a slum, and attended a Bollywood gala.

:19:42. > :19:43.Our royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell's report contains

:19:44. > :19:51.The best way to experience India's rich variety

:19:52. > :19:56.Within hours of arriving in Mumbai, William and Catherine were visiting

:19:57. > :20:02.one of the city's slum areas known as The Watertank.

:20:03. > :20:03.They squeezed through narrow alleyways

:20:04. > :20:08.Yards away, the daily life of the community

:20:09. > :20:17.In a city centre park, they joined activities with street children.

:20:18. > :20:20.There was a run in the park for Kate, and a game of cricket.

:20:21. > :20:22.The bowler was cricket ace Sachin Tendulkar,

:20:23. > :20:31.belted for six had it not fallen into eager hands.

:20:32. > :20:35.What a fantastic experience it was to meet the Duke and the Duchess.

:20:36. > :21:10.And, you know, really humble, very, very simple.

:21:11. > :21:13.It was at this hotel in November 2008 that Al-Qaeda linked extremists

:21:14. > :21:16.At this hotel, and other attacks elsewhere in Mumbai,

:21:17. > :21:19.William and Catherine met some of the hotel staff

:21:20. > :21:22.who tried to protect guests when the attack happened.

:21:23. > :21:24.They laid a wreath in memory of the dead and in tribute

:21:25. > :21:27.This evening, a glittering gala dinner organised

:21:28. > :21:29.by the British High Commission for Bollywood stars

:21:38. > :21:40.A country which was once part of Britain's empire is now

:21:41. > :21:42.a considerable and growing economic power in its own right,

:21:43. > :21:45.and all of this is part of Britain's effort to court it.

:21:46. > :21:47.In a speech, William spoke of his and his wife's

:21:48. > :21:53.No-one can come here without being awed and amazed.

:21:54. > :21:55.No-one can come without a sense of excitement about all that

:21:56. > :21:58.India has achieved in the past, and the extraordinary promise it holds

:21:59. > :22:03.They know, as their officials have said, that India is a country

:22:04. > :22:05.which will play a significant global role

:22:06. > :22:27.A first look at tomorrow's papers is next on the BBC News Channel. On BBC

:22:28. > :22:28.One, it's time for the news where you
