:02:15. > :02:19.Good evening. We certainly had contrasting weather conditions for

:02:19. > :02:24.photography across Anglesey this weekend. Sunshine on Saturday and

:02:24. > :02:28.cloud and rain on Sunday. Cool this weekend and we stick with that this

:02:28. > :02:34.week. Temperatures below average and turning wet and windy in the

:02:34. > :02:38.second half of the week. This wet and windy weather today came

:02:38. > :02:41.courtesy of the cloud that is pushing South and East. Clearing

:02:41. > :02:45.skies working in over the northern flank of that, Scotland and

:02:45. > :02:51.Northern Ireland, so temperatures will drop. They could be some mist

:02:51. > :02:56.and fog with the winds so light. Into the morning rush-hour, some

:02:56. > :03:01.lively bursts of rain across the South West and South Coast. All in

:03:01. > :03:04.all, it will be a great day with rain on and off. Mist and fog and

:03:04. > :03:09.low cloud breaks up further North and it will be brighter with sunny

:03:09. > :03:12.spells. Showers returned to northern Scotland later in the day,

:03:12. > :03:17.may be preceded by some snow above 400 metres in the North West

:03:17. > :03:20.Highlands. Much of Scotland will be dry and bright, the same in

:03:20. > :03:24.Northern Ireland when the mist and fog has broken up. Brighter in

:03:24. > :03:28.northern England and predominantly dry with just a couple of showers

:03:28. > :03:33.possible. In the afternoon, centre will breakthrough in the Midlands,

:03:33. > :03:37.Wales and the South West. -- sunshine will break through. We

:03:37. > :03:41.stick with the rain in the south- eastern corner and a long southern

:03:41. > :03:47.coasts. That is where we will see the heaviest rainfall, and it is

:03:47. > :03:51.possible across Sussex and Kent. -- one inch is possible. That

:03:51. > :03:56.continues into Tuesday with cloud and rain in the North of Scotland.

:03:56. > :04:02.Calder by and large overnight with Frost through to the Midlands. In

:04:02. > :04:06.the South, winds are lightest, but Tuesday will not be too bad. This

:04:06. > :04:10.weather front is developing to the South of Iceland bringing cloud and

:04:10. > :04:14.outbreaks of rain to western Scotland and the North of Northern

:04:14. > :04:19.Ireland. Southern and eastern parts will be dry and bright with

:04:19. > :04:22.increasing cloud. We lose mist and fog elsewhere to some bright and

:04:22. > :04:27.sunny spells during the day. Temperatures do not rise a great

:04:27. > :04:30.deal despite sunny spells in the West. Low pressure develops across

:04:30. > :04:36.north-western Scotland. Make friends with it because it stays

:04:36. > :04:39.all week. Isobars begin to tighten. Heavy rain from Scotland and

:04:39. > :04:42.Northern Ireland through into England and Wales during the day.

:04:42. > :04:47.It is driest for longest in the south-eastern corner, but we cannot

:04:47. > :04:52.rule out any showers here. Particularly windy with gale-force

:04:52. > :04:56.winds expected and feeling cool. This weather front pushes East into

:04:56. > :05:03.Thursday. It could develop ulcers of heavy rain. That will slow its

:05:03. > :05:07.departure. It will be very wet across eastern England on Thursday.

:05:07. > :05:11.That raises the risk of higher river levels across the South. But

:05:11. > :05:14.once it has gone, lighter winds than Wednesday with a mixture of

:05:14. > :05:18.sunshine and showers. That low pressure stays to the North on

:05:18. > :05:23.Friday. We have to watch this feature running into the North

:05:23. > :05:26.Atlantic. Some of the models take that very close to the South of the

:05:27. > :05:31.UK so there is a small potential at this stage of longer spells of rain

:05:31. > :05:36.across the South coast. At the moment, on Friday there will be

:05:36. > :05:46.strong to blustery winds and showers prolific in the West. We

:05:46. > :05:46.

:05:46. > :14:02.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 495 seconds
