:00:22. > :00:25.Good afternoon. The Home Secretary, Theresa May, has said that thousands

:00:25. > :00:28.of people are potentially at risk of being radicalised by extremists in

:00:28. > :00:30.the UK. Three men arrested last night are continuing to be

:00:30. > :00:34.questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder

:00:34. > :00:37.following the death of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich. This morning,

:00:37. > :00:47.prayers have been said for him at his home town of Middleton in

:00:47. > :00:51.

:00:51. > :00:57.Greater Manchester, as Ed Thomas Praise for drama Rigby. Here at all

:00:57. > :01:04.Saints where he grew up, they remembered the 25-year-old. He was

:01:04. > :01:08.described with pride, as a fine and brave lad. But the investigation

:01:08. > :01:12.into his death is gathering pace. Three people arrested last night are

:01:12. > :01:17.still being questioned. The men, who are all in their 20s, were arrested

:01:17. > :01:23.in south-east London on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. A Taser was

:01:23. > :01:26.used on two of them. Around 500 police and security officers are now

:01:26. > :01:29.investigating the Woolwich attack and today the Home Secretary,

:01:29. > :01:33.Theresa May, promised to consider new measures to crack down on

:01:33. > :01:39.extremist groups, as she warned that thousands of people are at risk of

:01:39. > :01:44.being radicalised. We'd even need to look at the powers and the laws

:01:44. > :01:48.and, for example, whether perhaps we need to have banning orders to ban

:01:48. > :01:55.organisations which don't meet the threshold for prescription. Ash back

:01:55. > :01:59.we do need to look. Today, on the Langley estate, the place where Lee

:02:00. > :02:03.Rigby grew up, today is a time to reflect on his life. And remember

:02:03. > :02:06.one of their own. Two men have been charged with

:02:06. > :02:10.endangering an aircraft after a passenger jet from Pakistan to

:02:10. > :02:14.Manchester was diverted to Stansted Airport on Friday. The men, both

:02:14. > :02:16.British nationals, will appear in court in Chelmsford tomorrow. An RAF

:02:17. > :02:21.Typhoon jet was scrambled to escort the aircraft after concerns were

:02:21. > :02:25.raised by the crew. A pensioner has died after being

:02:25. > :02:29.attacked by a dog at his home in Liverpool. The 79-year-old man was

:02:29. > :02:32.set upon in his garden yesterday evening. Merseyside Police say the

:02:32. > :02:35.dog has been destroyed and two women have been been arrested on suspicion

:02:35. > :02:38.of an offence under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

:02:38. > :02:41.Two rockets have hit an area of Lebanon's capital, Beirut, that's

:02:41. > :02:44.controlled by the Hezbollah movement. It further raised concerns

:02:44. > :02:51.that the conflict in neighbouring Syria is spilling across its

:02:51. > :02:55.borders. From Beirut, Jim Muir reports.

:02:55. > :03:02.Will the Lebanese hoped would not happen - violence related to Syria

:03:02. > :03:04.hitting the capital. Two rockets fired from nearby hills struck the

:03:04. > :03:08.city's southern suburbs, where Hezbollah holds sway. There was

:03:08. > :03:12.damage and several people wounded. Given the rising tensions, the

:03:12. > :03:18.incident is being taken very seriously. The attack came hours

:03:18. > :03:22.after the Hezbollah leader, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, relate to a big

:03:22. > :03:26.rally of supporters and made it clear his fighters would can --

:03:26. > :03:31.continue battling alongside regime forces in Syria until the largely

:03:31. > :03:34.Sunni rebels had been defeated. Tensions arising from Syria have

:03:34. > :03:38.already erupted in the north Lebanese city of Tripoli, where

:03:38. > :03:43.there is an old battlefront between the Sunni majority and the Alawite

:03:43. > :03:47.community, which has strong ties to the Syrian regime. Lebanese Sunni

:03:47. > :03:52.militants are also reported to be fighting on the rebel side. That is

:03:52. > :03:55.why the battle there is so sensitive for Lebanon. But in the meantime,
