:00:34. > :00:57.first in a London derby that saw Fernando Torres sent off. Good

:00:57. > :00:59.afternoon. David Cameron has defended Conservative plans to

:00:59. > :01:06.introduce a tax break for married couples saying it's right to back

:01:06. > :01:08.marriage properly as an institution. From April 2015, four million

:01:08. > :01:15.couples who aren't higher rate taxpayers could be up to £200 a year

:01:15. > :01:18.better off. Critics say the policy excludes millions of people who are

:01:18. > :01:32.separated, divorced or widowed. Iain Watson reports.

:01:32. > :02:09.This couple got married Watson reports.

:02:09. > :02:48.momentous when poor -- win. Watson reports.

:02:48. > :03:09.would be a welcome wedding gift. It is right to back marriage properly

:03:09. > :03:38.in the income tax system. The Lib Dems expose the idea. Four people

:03:38. > :03:41.including a sixteen year old - have appeared in court charged with

:03:41. > :03:43.murder - over a house fire that killed four members of the same

:03:43. > :03:46.murder - over a house fire that family in Leicester. Bilal and Jamil

:03:46. > :03:49.Taufiq as well as their mother Shehnila and sister Zainab, died in

:03:49. > :03:54.the fire at their home two weeks ago. An eighteen-year-old man has

:03:54. > :03:58.already been charged with murder. In Greece - the leader of the far-right

:03:58. > :04:00.Golden Dawn party has been arrested on charges of belonging to a

:04:00. > :04:03.criminal organisation. Three other MPs belonging to the neo-fascist

:04:03. > :04:13.party were also detained along with party activists. The arrests come

:04:13. > :04:16.after the killing of a left-wing activist and rapper by an alleged

:04:16. > :04:19.Golden Dawn supporter ten days ago. It is the first time since 1974 that

:04:19. > :04:25.sitting members of the Greek Parliament have been arrested. A

:04:25. > :04:28.sixth Briton has been confirmed dead following the Kenyan shopping centre

:04:28. > :04:30.siege - as the Foreign Office said it could not rule out the

:04:30. > :04:35.possibility of further British casualties. It comes amid reports

:04:35. > :04:38.that the Kenyan government was warned by Israel of a high risk of

:04:39. > :04:47.action by islamic militants. Our Africa Correspondent, Andrew

:04:47. > :04:52.Harding, has more. Inside the ruins of the Westgate

:04:52. > :04:58.maul today. Survivors are being allowed back into claim their cars

:04:58. > :05:04.as dozens of bodies are missing somewhere under the rubble. Huge

:05:04. > :05:11.disruption under there. Here is our car. This man is amongst one of the

:05:11. > :05:17.first civilians to go in this morning. Everything came down and

:05:17. > :05:24.you can see cars on top of the rubble that have come down from the

:05:24. > :05:29.top level parking garage. It is just a giant cave in that will take

:05:29. > :05:38.months to go through, it is a mess. New footage of the attack itself,

:05:38. > :05:46.Red Cross officials ushering people to safety. It is not clear how

:05:46. > :05:51.specific the warnings were. One week after the killings started, there is

:05:51. > :05:57.confusion and uncertainty. Kenya's government insist that it's

:05:57. > :06:01.intelligence service did the best they could in chaotic circumstances.

:06:01. > :06:10., but many people are starting to question that. For Abdul, a

:06:10. > :06:13.difficult moment. He is a businessman and was captured in

:06:13. > :06:19.these photographs going repeatedly back into the mall to save civilians

:06:19. > :06:26.trapped by the fighting, including this four-year-old American girl,

:06:26. > :06:32.somehow persuaded to run for her life. She was a very brave little

:06:32. > :06:38.girl, running towards strange men holding guns. It is not an easy

:06:38. > :06:43.thing. I am not sure any kids her age would have done the same thing.

:06:43. > :06:50.It is a week that has tested many but there were plenty of questions,

:06:50. > :06:53.as well as priors. Kenya seems determined not to be divided by the

:06:53. > :06:56.horrors of the last week. Campaigners opposed to plans to move

:06:56. > :06:59.move maternity and paediatric services from Stafford Hospital have

:06:59. > :07:01.held a march just days before a public consultation ends. The

:07:01. > :07:04.hospital was at the centre of a health scandal and was put into

:07:04. > :07:07.administration last April. Its future will be decided by the Health

:07:07. > :07:10.Secretary before the end of the year. The Conservative vice chairman

:07:10. > :07:17.for Business Relations, Alan Lewis, has been arrested over an historic

:07:17. > :07:19.allegation of rape. Mr Lewis, who is 75, is the multi-millionaire owner

:07:19. > :07:29.of the Crombie clothing chain. He was detained after a woman claimed

:07:30. > :07:33.she was attacked in the late 1960s. A special fund to pay for expensive

:07:33. > :07:36.cancer medication in England is to be extended by the government for

:07:36. > :07:43.two years, at a cost of £400 million. The Cancer Drugs Fund

:07:43. > :07:46.offers patients access to medicines which have not been introduced

:07:46. > :07:56.across the NHS. Luisa Baldini has more.

:07:56. > :08:01.This busy mum of three, Lisa, is also a cancer patient. She had

:08:01. > :08:08.surgery to remove cancer in her bowel but it had spread to her

:08:08. > :08:11.liver. She took a drug paid for out of the Cancer Drugs Fund and her

:08:11. > :08:18.tumours have reduced which means she can go on to have other treatment. I

:08:18. > :08:25.thought I would have cancer for ever but now there is some hope that I

:08:25. > :08:30.will beat it, all because one drug took me from 11 tumours to two

:08:30. > :08:36.tumours. The Cancer Drugs Fund pays the medicines that would otherwise

:08:36. > :08:41.be considered too expensive. Around 34,000 patients have had drugs

:08:41. > :08:47.funded since 2010. It has helped individual patients like Lisa but it

:08:47. > :08:54.has also added to what specialists know about cancer drugs. It enables

:08:55. > :08:58.an increased response rate into treatment and increases survival.

:08:58. > :09:03.Some patients who respond physically well, it allows them to go on and

:09:03. > :09:12.have further surgery. Patients like this girl would be eligible to

:09:12. > :09:15.access the funds but it is not eligible for patients in Northern

:09:15. > :09:18.Ireland or Wales. Football now and Tottenham have

:09:18. > :09:21.moved to the top of the Barclays Premier League following a one all

:09:21. > :09:25.draw against Chelsea in the day's early kick off at White Hart Lane.

:09:25. > :09:28.Spurs took the lead in the first half only to be pegged back by a

:09:28. > :09:32.John Terry header. John Watson reports.

:09:32. > :09:35.London derbies are always feisty affair especially when both managers

:09:35. > :09:47.have shared a documented falling out. It was advantage Spurs after 90

:09:47. > :09:52.minutes. Tottenham were in front. The battle between Fernando Torres

:09:52. > :10:01.and a defender was to define this game. The Chelsea forward was lucky

:10:01. > :10:05.to stay on the pitch. The substitute turned provider here with John Terry

:10:05. > :10:13.heading it in to equalise. If John Terry was lucky before, it had run

:10:13. > :10:23.out by this time. Fernando Torres was off and Chelsea were down to two

:10:23. > :10:27.-- ten men. Both managers settled for a point.

:10:27. > :10:29.There was no shortage of goals in the Scottish Premier League where

:10:29. > :10:32.Celtic beat Kilmarnock 5-2. Georgios Samaras proved the difference for

:10:32. > :10:36.the visitors with a hat trick at Rugby Park. It was the perfect warm

:10:36. > :10:42.up for Celtic, who host Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday.

:10:42. > :10:47.There's more throughout the evening on the BBC News Channel, we are back

:10:47. > :10:47.with the late news. Now on BBC One its time for
