:00:20. > :00:23.Good afternoon. A new satellite image has been

:00:24. > :00:26.released showing debris in the southern Indian Ocean, which could

:00:27. > :00:32.be the remains of the Malaysian passenger plane that's been missing

:00:33. > :00:35.for two weeks. The new picture, taken by a Chinese satellite on

:00:36. > :00:38.Tuesday, appears to show a large object in the sea, around 75 miles

:00:39. > :00:51.from an earlier sighting of possible debris. Our correspondent Alastair

:00:52. > :00:56.Leithead is in Kuala Lumpur. The mystery is, of course, far from

:00:57. > :01:01.solved. This new satellite photograph reaffirms the search

:01:02. > :01:05.efforts that have been going on in the southern Indian Ocean. The news

:01:06. > :01:09.was broken here, in Malaysia. This report contains some flash

:01:10. > :01:20.photography. The search for MH -- flight MH370

:01:21. > :01:23.has taken a new twist. While Malaysia's acting Transport Minister

:01:24. > :01:28.took questions, another twist was coming. I don't view, he was handed

:01:29. > :01:34.a note. The news I have just received is that the Chinese

:01:35. > :01:37.ambassador received a satellite image of debris in the southern

:01:38. > :01:44.corridor and they will send ships to fire five. This will be announced in

:01:45. > :01:49.a couple of hours. This floating object is 22 metres long and 30

:01:50. > :01:52.metres wide. This was the new satellite image released by the

:01:53. > :01:56.Chinese government. It was taken to my days after the Australians

:01:57. > :02:06.captured this image last Sunday. Is it the same thing? It was found just

:02:07. > :02:10.75 miles away, to the south. So, where is it now? For three days,

:02:11. > :02:14.long-range state-of-the-art planes have been flying over the area,

:02:15. > :02:20.trying to find the object seen from space, so far without success. This

:02:21. > :02:24.is the third satellite photograph that has been released, potentially

:02:25. > :02:31.showing wreckage relating to the loss of flight MH 370. It will help

:02:32. > :02:34.refocus efforts in what is still nominally a search and rescue effort

:02:35. > :02:39.in the southern Indian Ocean. For those wanting to resolve the mystery

:02:40. > :02:42.it is, at least, a new lead. The discovery of plane wreckage would be

:02:43. > :02:49.little comfort to the families of those on board flight MH370. They

:02:50. > :02:53.are still hanging onto the faint hope their loved ones are still

:02:54. > :02:58.alive. Does this mean there will be a

:02:59. > :03:04.refocus of the search area? What it means is that this

:03:05. > :03:08.photograph, which is new, was taken last Tuesday, Sir you have got to

:03:09. > :03:13.remember there was a photograph taken by the Australians on Sunday,

:03:14. > :03:18.then this, relating to Tuesday. It moved about 75 miles of those two

:03:19. > :03:22.days. Perhaps they can now at least plot which direction it was going,

:03:23. > :03:27.how far it might have gone. These seas are very rough, very stormy.

:03:28. > :03:32.There is a cyclone not far away. That is going to hamper the efforts

:03:33. > :03:36.to search and rescue. Certainly, it is going to help and it is progress.

:03:37. > :03:39.A veteran Republican has appeared in court in Belfast, charged in

:03:40. > :03:43.connection with the abduction and murder of a woman in 1972. Jean

:03:44. > :03:46.McConville, who had ten children, is one of the so-called Disappeared -

:03:47. > :03:58.people who were killed and secretly buried by the IRA. Ivor Bell, who is

:03:59. > :04:01.77, denies the charges. -- was denied bail after the court was told

:04:02. > :04:07.there was a risk he would not attend future hearings.

:04:08. > :04:10.42 years after her murder, some of Jean McConville's ten children

:04:11. > :04:14.arrived in court this morning to see the man charged in connection with

:04:15. > :04:18.the chilling. Ivor Bell is 77 and alleged to be a former leading

:04:19. > :04:23.member of the IRA. Jean McConville was a single mother, who was

:04:24. > :04:26.abducted from her flat in West Belfast in 1972. A few weeks

:04:27. > :04:33.afterwards, her children made a poignant appeal. Ella might be you

:04:34. > :04:38.think you will see your mum again? I don't know. We will keep our fingers

:04:39. > :04:42.crossed and pray hard for her coming back. They had seen her for the last

:04:43. > :04:47.time. Jean McConville's body was hidden on a beach in County Louth in

:04:48. > :04:51.the Irish Republican Army in 2003 a man walking on the beach discovered

:04:52. > :04:55.Mrs McConville's bones. Her family were finally able to give her a

:04:56. > :04:59.Christian burial. She was one of 16 people who became known as the

:05:00. > :05:05.Disappeared. They were murdered by paramilitaries and secretly buried

:05:06. > :05:09.during the troubles. The killers often claimed the fate was reserved

:05:10. > :05:14.for people passing information to the security forces but a report by

:05:15. > :05:20.the Policing Watchdog several years ago find no evidence there was --

:05:21. > :05:25.that Jean McConville was an informer. Ivor Bell was part of a

:05:26. > :05:33.Republican delegation which took part in talks with the government in

:05:34. > :05:36.London in the 1970s. Tell us more about what happened in

:05:37. > :05:38.court. Ivor Bell was charged with aiding

:05:39. > :05:43.and abetting the murder of Jean McConville and of being a member of

:05:44. > :05:49.the IRA. The court heard the prosecution evidence comes in an

:05:50. > :05:55.interview given by Ivor Bell to researchers in the US. The condition

:05:56. > :05:57.was that the interviews would not be published until after the

:05:58. > :06:02.interviewees died, but the police have gone to court in America to get

:06:03. > :06:07.the American University to hand over material. Ivor Bell denies the

:06:08. > :06:11.charges and was remanded in custody. Gerry Adams, the Sinn Fein

:06:12. > :06:15.president, has said that he cannot comment on the case but that the

:06:16. > :06:18.killing of Jean McConville was wrong. The McConville family have

:06:19. > :06:21.issued a statement. They say the pain of losing their mother has not

:06:22. > :06:27.diminished over the years and whatever happens in future, nothing

:06:28. > :06:29.will change that. The financial services watchdog says

:06:30. > :06:32.hundreds of thousands of people who are already struggling with their

:06:33. > :06:35.finances are being charged too much in fees by debt management firms.

:06:36. > :06:38.The Financial Conduct Authority says it's unacceptable that people who

:06:39. > :06:41.are already in debt are being talked into unsuitable repayment schemes,

:06:42. > :06:52.which can cost up to ?620 pounds a year.

:06:53. > :06:53.The
