:00:20. > :00:24.The Foreign Secretary, William Hague, has called for

:00:25. > :00:27.West African countries to work together at a security summit in

:00:28. > :00:30.Paris on the threat from Boko Haram, the militant Islamist movement

:00:31. > :00:34.behind the abduction of more than 200 schoolgirls in Nigeria.

:00:35. > :00:37.The country's president, Goodluck Jonathan, is attending along with

:00:38. > :00:53.The leaders of five African countries, Nigeria and its

:00:54. > :00:58.neighbours, have come to Paris to talk about security. The Nigerian

:00:59. > :01:05.leader was the first to arrive at the Palace for a one-on-one with the

:01:06. > :01:09.president. Also taking part, representatives from the United

:01:10. > :01:15.States, the European Union and the UK. Making sure that there is a

:01:16. > :01:19.strategy to defeat Boko Haram, more broadly, and this is one sickening

:01:20. > :01:24.and terrible incident but they continue almost every day to commit

:01:25. > :01:29.terrorist attacks and atrocities of the kinds and so they have to be

:01:30. > :01:33.defeated in the region and that requires regional strategy among the

:01:34. > :01:42.African countries but with our support. Boko Haram's kidnapping of

:01:43. > :01:47.more than 200 teenage girls one month ago in the North-East Nigerian

:01:48. > :01:51.time horrified the world. Britain, France and the US are already

:01:52. > :01:56.helping in the task of locating the girls with drones and intelligence.

:01:57. > :02:01.But in the longer term, it is how to do with the continuing threat from

:02:02. > :02:06.the extremists that is the issue. In the past, they have been able to

:02:07. > :02:13.make use of the poorest borders to hide and regroup. The French took

:02:14. > :02:19.the lead last year in fighting Islamist 's in another North African

:02:20. > :02:21.country, Mali. Now, the task is to encourage cooperation between

:02:22. > :02:26.English speaking Nigeria and its Francophone neighbours to crush a

:02:27. > :02:34.Jubilant crowds have greeted India's new Prime Minister, Narendra Modi,

:02:35. > :02:37.to Delhi after a crushing victory by his party, the BJP.

:02:38. > :02:40.Thousands of people, waving BJP flags and chanting slogans,

:02:41. > :02:45.In a brief news conference, Mr Modi thanked voters for their support.

:02:46. > :02:47.Our correspondent, Sanjoy Majumder, is in Dehli.

:02:48. > :02:53.There is some flash photography in his report.

:02:54. > :02:55.The cavalcade inched its way towards the city.

:02:56. > :03:00.Roads were cleared and policemen lined the streets as the country's

:03:01. > :03:09.A tumultuous welcome at the BJP headquarters.

:03:10. > :03:14.Exuberant and excited supporters delighted to see him.

:03:15. > :03:20.Mr Modi said he was humbled by the outpouring of support.

:03:21. > :03:23.Through your sweat and hard work, all of you party volunteers have

:03:24. > :03:28.spread the BJP's lotus symbol throughout Delhi.

:03:29. > :03:35.You all deserve congratulations for creating this new trust.

:03:36. > :03:38.They are all lined up, craning to have a look at India's

:03:39. > :03:45.Mr Modi was always their hero, but after his incredible victory,

:03:46. > :03:49.the biggest in the BJP'shistory, he has been elevated in their eyes

:03:50. > :03:55.The problem is that expectations are sky-high.

:03:56. > :03:59.So India's next Prime Minister will have his job cut out for him.

:04:00. > :04:11.It slowed down in recent years and Mr Modi has

:04:12. > :04:20.But many believe that if anyone can do it, he can.

:04:21. > :04:23.Proposals to fundamentally reform the Co-op Group are being discussed

:04:24. > :04:25.by members at a special meeting today

:04:26. > :04:29.The former City Minister, Lord Myners, has suggested

:04:30. > :04:32.a major shake-up after a disastrous period which led to the departure

:04:33. > :04:37.of several senior executives and losses of ?2.5 billion.

:04:38. > :04:52.From across the country they came to Manchester this morning to save a

:04:53. > :04:56.battered business. The next few hours will determine whether they

:04:57. > :05:01.can do that. Today's meeting will ask members to agree on radical

:05:02. > :05:05.proposals to how the group is run. There is no doubt that the Co-op

:05:06. > :05:11.Group needs to change, it is how it changes, do we become more like a

:05:12. > :05:19.plc with unaccountable directors or a cooperative with more transparency

:05:20. > :05:22.and accountability? What are the proposals) they include a new Board

:05:23. > :05:26.of Directors with qualifications needed to run a modern business.

:05:27. > :05:29.That would replace iteration of hiring elected members. Those

:05:30. > :05:34.members will instead be represented by a new group designed to hold the

:05:35. > :05:41.board to account. The plans include changes to voting, given the 8

:05:42. > :05:44.million members, one vote each and a yes vote would give the bosses the

:05:45. > :05:49.support they need. To begin the reform of a dysfunctional

:05:50. > :05:53.institution. We will vote in favour of the resolution put forward by the

:05:54. > :05:57.board and I think there is a good chance that it will be carried, it

:05:58. > :06:02.needs to third is and that is a very strong sign that the reforms would

:06:03. > :06:09.be approved later in the year. But the vote is far from won, critics

:06:10. > :06:12.oppose plans, say it would make the company more corporate and could

:06:13. > :06:18.raise 150 years of traditional values. Even if today's wrote is

:06:19. > :06:23.one, the tougher, painful decisions on job losses and store closures are

:06:24. > :06:30.still to come. Getting support for those plans could prove much harder.

:06:31. > :06:35.This is not yet a done deal and critics say the proposals on the

:06:36. > :06:38.table would damage the Co-op. Supporters say it is so badly

:06:39. > :06:43.damaged already, these changes are long overdue. The meeting is

:06:44. > :06:45.continuing behind me and we expect a vote within the next half an hour.

:06:46. > :06:54.The Chief Executive of the Premier League, Richard Scudamore,

:06:55. > :06:57.is facing further calls to resign following sexist comments he made in

:06:58. > :07:00.Heather Rabbatts, the Football Association's

:07:01. > :07:02.independent board member, says there is growing evidence

:07:03. > :07:06.of a closed culture of sexism and that there needs to be a review of

:07:07. > :07:11.And it's a big day in the football calendar.

:07:12. > :07:14.Arsenal head into the FA Cup Final this afternoon to try to give

:07:15. > :07:17.Arsene Wenger's club their first silverware in nine years.

:07:18. > :07:20.They play Hull, who have reached the final for the first time ever.

:07:21. > :07:34.Give us some sense of the atmosphere. It is really building up

:07:35. > :07:37.and a lot of Arsenal fans are here already and they hope that today is

:07:38. > :07:44.a perfect day to put the ghost to rest because nine years since last

:07:45. > :07:48.trophy in the FA Cup Final, 35 attempts and they have failed. These

:07:49. > :07:51.fans think they will never have a better chance because they are

:07:52. > :07:57.against a side they have beaten twice already this season, the last

:07:58. > :08:02.time just a few weeks ago. And Hull finished 16th in the Premier League.

:08:03. > :08:07.But the manager, Steve Bruce, these are the types of games that the FA

:08:08. > :08:11.Cup is all about, David versus Collider and he thinks they have a

:08:12. > :08:15.big chance and the former Man United defender has taken them from the

:08:16. > :08:18.bottom have the Championship to the Premier League and first Cup Final

:08:19. > :08:21.inside only two years and they will be in Europe next season because

:08:22. > :08:26.Arsenal have guaranteed themselves Champions' League foot well. He says

:08:27. > :08:30.this is his proudest achievement and he has called on the players to

:08:31. > :08:31.enjoy the occasion and write themselves into the club and

:08:32. > :08:39.football history. Scientists

:08:40. > :08:41.in Argentina have discovered bones they believe could have belonged to

:08:42. > :08:44.the largest dinosaurs ever to have The creatures are thought have had

:08:45. > :08:48.long necks and tails It's the first time they have

:08:49. > :08:58.been found in South America. It looks something like this. It is

:08:59. > :09:04.thought to have been the biggest creature to have ever walked the

:09:05. > :09:09.Earth. The weight of 14 elephants and the height of a seven story

:09:10. > :09:17.building. The thighbone, the length of a fully grown man. Here we have

:09:18. > :09:25.the FEMA, the largest bone. Goes from the hip to the knee. Here, we

:09:26. > :09:29.have the head of it, where it attaches to the head. The bones of

:09:30. > :09:35.seven of these creatures were discovered among the plains of

:09:36. > :09:41.Patagonia. A BBC natural history unit obtained this exclusive footage

:09:42. > :09:44.as they were on earth. These are the bones supporting all of this

:09:45. > :09:50.Bollywood. We need to get accurate estimates and measurements of these

:09:51. > :09:55.bones to estimate just how heavy this animal was. We are trying to

:09:56. > :10:02.see if it was the largest dinosaur ever find on land. These titanic

:10:03. > :10:05.creatures lived 100 million years ago. At a time when Giants walked

:10:06. > :10:10.the Earth. You can see more on all

:10:11. > :10:13.of today's stories over on the That's all from me -

:10:14. > :10:37.we're back at 6.45pm this evening. Some decent weather out there today,

:10:38. > :10:41.lovely sunshine on offer. And so, that means someone is well. The

:10:42. > :10:42.weekend remains the same, sunny spells,
