:00:35. > :00:36.Basildon Hospital says it's "responding to a major incident".

:00:37. > :00:39.The discovery was made early this morning when the ship,

:00:40. > :00:42.which had sailed from Zeebrugge in Belgium, was being unloaded.

:00:43. > :00:43.Live now to our correspondent, Daniel Boettcher,

:00:44. > :00:57.The emergency services were called here early this morning after the

:00:58. > :01:01.first reports that more than 30 people had been found inside a

:01:02. > :01:07.container. The first priority was to get medical help to the docks. To

:01:08. > :01:10.assess those found, to treat some of those at the scene and to take them

:01:11. > :01:17.to local hospitals. That has happened. They have all been taken

:01:18. > :01:23.to the local hospitals. Some of them are suffering from severe

:01:24. > :01:32.dehydration and hypothermia. The container was found at Tilbury docks

:01:33. > :01:36.as the ship was being unloaded. 35 people including children were

:01:37. > :01:40.discovered inside. One man has died and others have significant health

:01:41. > :01:46.problems. Seven ambulances, doctors and a response team were among those

:01:47. > :01:55.sent to the scene. That'll be in hospital says it is responding to a

:01:56. > :02:01.major incident -- Basildon. 19 people are being treated. This is

:02:02. > :02:04.primarily a container port and not such a prime target for illegal

:02:05. > :02:10.immigrants as ports on the south coast. The nationality of those

:02:11. > :02:13.involved is not yet known. Police, the UK border force and the east of

:02:14. > :02:21.England ambulance service are dealing with the incident.

:02:22. > :02:29.Although we know where the ship came from, we do not know where the

:02:30. > :02:32.container originated. We do not know what their nationalities are. Police

:02:33. > :02:38.are looking for interpreters to speak to some of those people at the

:02:39. > :02:40.hospital. The container was one of 50 on the vessel and all of the

:02:41. > :02:48.containers have been searched to make sure there are no other

:02:49. > :02:53.people. That work is expected to be completed soon. There is a joint

:02:54. > :02:56.investigation involving police in Belgium who are looking at CCTV

:02:57. > :03:02.deceived they can find out anything more about this container. -- to

:03:05. > :03:10.News. Officials in Northern Iraq say

:03:11. > :03:12.extremists have massacred 80 Yazidi men and abducted women and children

:03:13. > :03:15.in a village close to Sinjar. It's claimed the militants

:04:37. > :04:39.positions. -- air strikes. Aircraft have been carrying out

:04:40. > :04:48.surveillance. British aid is on its way. For now, the youngest refugees

:05:58. > :06:02.as the crowd has spotted the Pope on the back of his Popemobile,

:06:03. > :06:07.Huge numbers of people, hundreds of thousands have turned

:06:08. > :06:09.out here in Seoul this morning to greet the Pope.

:06:10. > :06:14.But of course many of these Korean Catholics have waited all their

:06:15. > :06:22.lives to see a Pope, because there hasn't been one here since 1989.

:06:23. > :06:25.These people had come not just to celebrate mass with Pope Francis,

:06:26. > :06:29.but to witness him beatifying more than 100 Korean Catholic martyrs.

:06:30. > :06:31.These were the people who brought the Catholic

:06:32. > :06:36.faith to Korea 200 years ago, and were executed for doing so.

:06:37. > :06:39.It was a ceremony loaded with symbolism.

:06:40. > :06:43.Pope Francis standing in front of the old Royal Palace,

:06:44. > :06:48.the very place from which Catholics were persecuted.

:06:49. > :06:50.In Korea, Catholicism is not tainted by

:06:51. > :06:54.scandal and has long been identified with helping the poor and the sick.

:06:55. > :07:04.In that respect, Pope Francis seems to fit in very well here.
