:00:20. > :00:23.Hampshire Police say they have "positive information" to suggest

:00:24. > :00:26.that a critically ill five year old boy, who's gone missing with

:00:27. > :00:31.Ashya King was taken out of Southampton General Hospital, where

:00:32. > :00:36.he was being treated for a brain tumour, on Thursday afternoon.

:00:37. > :00:38.Live now to Duncan Kennedy who joins us

:00:39. > :00:51.Duncan? Well, Rachel, you get a growing sense of frustration here

:00:52. > :00:55.among the police over why it's taking so long to find a family of

:00:56. > :00:59.nine, travelling in a people carrier across Europe. But the fact is,

:01:00. > :01:03.Ashya, and his family are still missing although as you said this

:01:04. > :01:09.morning they do have a significant new lead. It is now two days since

:01:10. > :01:13.Asher was taken from hospital and the police say they are desperate to

:01:14. > :01:17.find him. This video shows his family on a recent trip to Spain,

:01:18. > :01:21.that is where the police search is now being concentrated. Officers

:01:22. > :01:26.think that his parents may have links with southern Spain, having

:01:27. > :01:30.gone there on holiday. They have asked Spanish police to join the

:01:31. > :01:36.operation to find the five-year-old, who remain seriously ill with a

:01:37. > :01:40.brain tumour. They have close links in Spain, we are working closely

:01:41. > :01:48.with the police, our colleagues will be going to a presiding judge to

:01:49. > :01:53.extend the search over Spain. The search is now pan-European in scale,

:01:54. > :01:57.it began at two o'clock on Thursday, at Southampton General Hospital when

:01:58. > :02:01.he was removed by his parents. At four o'clock is whole family went to

:02:02. > :02:05.Portsmouth where they got on a ferry to France. At eight o'clock on

:02:06. > :02:09.Thursday night the hospital at Southampton alerted the police he

:02:10. > :02:13.was missing. By that time they were in France. Nobody knows why his

:02:14. > :02:18.parents took him from the hospital, but there is no suggestion they have

:02:19. > :02:23.broken the law. In fact the police say that the priority is not why he

:02:24. > :02:28.was taken, it is simply where is he? That is why the focus on Spain is

:02:29. > :02:32.now so important. The story of the missing boy has led to huge

:02:33. > :02:37.interest, especially across social media. Not only have the police been

:02:38. > :02:40.using it to find him, but a family friend has asked people not to judge

:02:41. > :02:46.'s parents, describing them as a loving family. But there is

:02:47. > :02:51.frustration among the police over why it is taking so long to find

:02:52. > :02:53.him, he is still missing and still in danger. Duncan Kennedy, BBC News

:02:54. > :02:56.in Southampton. David Cameron

:02:57. > :02:59.and Nick Clegg are due to have talks this weekend to finalise the

:03:00. > :03:01.government's response to the raised The level was increased

:03:02. > :03:04.from "substantial" to "severe" yesterday amid growing concern

:03:07. > :03:23.Correspondent, Louise Stewart. What is significant, the first time

:03:24. > :03:27.the terror threat level was raised in three years, so to combat that

:03:28. > :03:30.threat the Prime Minister is expected to announce new measures in

:03:31. > :03:34.Parliament on Monday. I think one of the biggest measures will be taking

:03:35. > :03:41.away people 's passports if they look like they will travel abroad to

:03:42. > :03:45.fight. You can already been done -- this can already be done and it has

:03:46. > :03:51.been done 23 times since last April, but given there could be up to 500

:03:52. > :03:54.people going to fight for the Jihadist cause, they are looking to

:03:55. > :04:00.make it more easy to enforce. You may remember control orders, they

:04:01. > :04:03.were subject to lengthy legal arguments and they were eventually

:04:04. > :04:08.scrapped. The Labour leader Ed Miliband is saying the decision to

:04:09. > :04:12.scrap them should be revisited, he says much tough action is needed to

:04:13. > :04:15.prevent young people from going abroad to fight as jihadists. Thank

:04:16. > :04:19.you for joining us. European leaders are meeting

:04:20. > :04:21.in Brussels today to discuss fresh sanctions against Russia because

:04:22. > :04:23.of its actions in Ukraine. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko

:04:24. > :04:26.is pushing the EU to impose tougher Some, including the Germans,

:04:27. > :04:29.say they will start drawing up the next round of measures after

:04:30. > :04:32.NATO said Russia sent in troops to Members of the Co-op Group are

:04:33. > :04:39.meeting in Manchester for a final vote on reforming

:04:40. > :04:43.the way the business is run. Proposals by the former City

:04:44. > :04:46.Minister, Lord Myners, were accepted in principal in May, but have faced

:04:47. > :04:50.stiff resistance from some key Co-op members, who've forced through

:04:51. > :04:58.changes to the original plans. The Respect party MP,

:04:59. > :05:00.George Galloway, has left hospital after being

:05:01. > :05:03.attacked in the street in London. He'd been having pictures taken

:05:04. > :05:05.in Notting Hill Mr Galloway suffered severe

:05:06. > :05:10.bruising to his head and appears Live now to our

:05:11. > :05:30.Correspondent Ben Geoghegan outside George Galloway spent most of the

:05:31. > :05:33.night at St Mary's being treated by doctors and having x-rays taken

:05:34. > :05:38.after he was apparently attacked by a complete stranger. It was about

:05:39. > :05:44.7:45pm, in Notting Hill gate, members of the public were asking

:05:45. > :05:48.for his photograph. When this man suddenly lashed out, as he was

:05:49. > :05:52.punching Mr Galloway apparently, it kept shouting about Israel, the

:05:53. > :06:03.Holocaust and at one point actually called the MP Heckler. Mr Galloway

:06:04. > :06:09.'s spokesman thinks this attack could have been caused by his

:06:10. > :06:12.outspoken views, he's known for his views on the Middle East and the

:06:13. > :06:16.Palestine Israeli conflict. Earlier this month the MP was actually

:06:17. > :06:19.interviewed under caution by the police for the remarks he said

:06:20. > :06:25.during a meeting where he declared Bradford, where his constituency is,

:06:26. > :06:31.as an Israel free zone. Mr Galloway spokesman thinks this is why the MP

:06:32. > :06:35.was attacked. By this man last night. Mr Galloway is now back at

:06:36. > :06:39.home, he is said to be shaken and shocked by what happened and the

:06:40. > :06:42.police say they have arrested a man who is being questioned under

:06:43. > :06:47.suspicion of causing actual bodily harm. Thank you for joining us.

:06:48. > :06:50.You can see more on all of today's stories on the BBC News Channel.

:07:05. > :07:13.Hello there. As August is drawing to a close it has been a relatively

:07:14. > :07:15.cool and damp month. Actually it is ending on a fine note, through this

:07:16. > :07:16.weekend for
