:01:35. > :01:41.Speaking to Conservative activists he said he should take the blame
:01:42. > :01:43.for the way in which the news was dealt with.

:01:51. > :01:52.about the strength of feeling amongst some people

:02:41. > :02:45.But Labour say this matter raises questions about his
:02:46. > :02:53.Most Tories seem to be rallying around their leader.
:02:54. > :02:56.But the London Mayor Boris Johnson chose not to lend his support
:02:57. > :03:02.Boris, is it morally wrong to avoid tax by investing in
:03:03. > :03:10.It took David Cameron several days to admits that he and his wife
:03:11. > :03:14.did have shares in his late father's offshore fund, which they sold
:03:15. > :03:18.for ?30,000 before he became Prime Minister.
:03:19. > :03:24.And there is no suggestion he has done anything illegal.
:03:25. > :03:27.The Labour leader has accused Mr Cameron of misleading people
:03:28. > :03:32.It's not about an individual, it's not about one person,
:03:33. > :03:37.It's about a whole ethos where the very rich are able
:03:38. > :03:41.to put their money into tax havens and funds with zero income tax,
:03:42. > :03:45.sometimes also a zero rate of corporation tax.
:03:46. > :03:48.The Prime Minister insists he has acted to address the concerns
:03:49. > :03:58.of protesters like these, closing the tax loophole.
:03:59. > :03:59.And ensuring greater international transparency on tax.
:04:00. > :04:02.He will be hoping that by releasing unprecedented detail on his personal
:04:03. > :04:04.finances that he can convince the public
:04:05. > :04:10.And Carole is in Downing Street, so what can we learn
:04:11. > :04:24.Well, what we are getting tonight is going to be the details of all the
:04:25. > :04:28.Prime Minister's earnings and tax going back six years, to just before
:04:29. > :04:33.when he became Prime Minister. That will include his salary, the tax
:04:34. > :04:37.allowances on that. The money he gets from renting out his house in
:04:38. > :04:41.west London while he lives here in Downing Street. The inheritance he
:04:42. > :04:46.got after his father died, and the money he got after selling off all
:04:47. > :04:49.the stocks and shares just before he became Prime Minister, including
:04:50. > :04:57.those shares in his late father's offshore fund. Downing Street know
:04:58. > :04:59.this will bring yet more focus on a Prime Minister's personal finances,
:05:00. > :05:03.yet more headlines on all of this, but they have clearly judged the
:05:04. > :05:08.only way they will be able to put this behind them, is by confronting
:05:09. > :05:12.the issue head-on, with this unprecedented level of detail.
:05:13. > :05:18.Labour are in no mood to let this drop. They are calling for a public
:05:19. > :05:22.enquiry. They say Jeremy Corbyn will publish his own tax returns. I think
:05:23. > :05:29.both sides are now gearing up for another phase in this whole row when

:05:35. > :05:36.has confessed to being the so called 'man in the hat' wanted
:05:37. > :05:38.in connection with the Brussels airport bombing.

:05:41. > :05:43.the man caught on camera with the two suicide bombers.

:05:55. > :06:00.Making their arrest. This is thought to be the moment the Belgian police
:06:01. > :06:07.got their man, Mohamed Abrini. And this is him said to be on the way to
:06:08. > :06:10.leaving a bomb. Prosecutors say he is the man on the right with the
:06:11. > :06:15.Brussels airport bombers seconds before they detonated their suitcase
:06:16. > :06:20.bombs. As he fled the attack, he said he discarded the jacket he was
:06:21. > :06:24.using to hide his identity. Mohamed Abrini, who evaded police for more
:06:25. > :06:31.than four months, has now emerged as a key player in both the Brussels
:06:32. > :06:33.and Paris attacks. He was on the Right here together with Salah
:06:34. > :06:42.Abdeslam, on more security footage which shows them providing the cars
:06:43. > :06:47.used by the Paris attackers. This is a big breakthrough. Belgium's Prime
:06:48. > :06:51.Minister today said the latest developments were very positive but
:06:52. > :06:55.he said Belgium still had to remain alert and watchful. Three other men
:06:56. > :06:59.who were arrested in Brussels, along with Mohamed Abrini Friday, have now
:07:00. > :07:05.been charged like him with terrorist offences. Two are believed to have
:07:06. > :07:09.provided support to the attackers, whilst another is believed to have
:07:10. > :07:13.brought the bags used to hide the Brussels airport bombs and been at
:07:14. > :07:18.the scene of the Brussels metro attack. After months of criticism,
:07:19. > :07:23.this is a significant day for Belgian investigators. The question
:07:24. > :07:26.remains, how they now broken apart the network which attacked Brussels
:07:27. > :07:30.and Paris, or are there still threats out there?
:07:31. > :07:33.An air and sea search, launched after a fishing boat sank
:07:34. > :07:36.off the Western Isles has been scaled back tonight after two
:07:37. > :07:39.The coastguard responded after receiving a distress call off

:08:38. > :08:40.The communities right from the Butt to Barra will be thinking of
:08:41. > :08:45.I know our thoughts and condolences will go out to the families
:08:46. > :08:47.and I think everybody in the Western Isles will be
:08:48. > :08:53.This is a close-knit fishing community with a long history
:08:54. > :08:55.and tradition of seafaring where people respect the sea
:08:56. > :08:58.for what it provides, but also where people are all too
:08:59. > :09:02.accustomed to what it can cruelly take away.
:09:03. > :09:06.But this relationship and this familiarity can never
:09:07. > :09:16.prepare people for tragic events like today's.
:09:17. > :09:18.The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, says he's
:09:19. > :09:20.discovered he is the son of Sir Winston Churchill's
:09:21. > :09:24.The Archbishop said a DNA test had revealed his real father to be
:09:25. > :09:27.Sir Anthony Montague Browne and not Gavin Welby -
:09:28. > :09:37.This Archbishop's life story was already an unusual one.

:12:54. > :12:55.the anti-doping agency, two years ago, has spoken out.
:12:56. > :12:57.He started talking about other drugs, like human growth hormone.
:12:58. > :13:00.EPO, and suggested that he worked with a number of other clients.
:13:01. > :13:06.And those clients were already taking
:13:07. > :13:09.this and that if you wanted to compete at a high level, it was what
:13:10. > :13:12.Stephens turned whistle-blower when he was banned for
:13:13. > :13:15.refusing to take a drugs test, telling UKAD about Bonner and
:13:16. > :13:17.handing over these signed prescriptions in the hope of a
:13:18. > :13:20.UKAD say they didn't have the jurisdiction to
:13:21. > :13:28.pursue the matter and that there wasn't enough evidence to refer
:13:29. > :13:31.Bonner to the General Medical Council but the government has
:13:32. > :13:33.ordered an enquiry into the handling of the case.
:13:34. > :13:36.I would describe that as a catastrophic failure.
:13:37. > :13:37.They were given prescriptions that the doctor
:13:38. > :13:39.had produced, they were prescribed via British chemists.
:13:40. > :13:41.UKAD have got absolutely no excuse for not
:13:42. > :13:45.UKAD said it was investigating the claims made by
:13:46. > :14:00.It asked for anyone with information to contact it.
:14:01. > :14:04.Mark Bonar told us that Stevens presented with some personal
:14:05. > :14:07.medical issues and he treated symptoms appropriately and I did not
:14:08. > :14:09.prescribe for the purposes of performance enhancement.
:14:10. > :14:17.The worst thing I could have ever done was offering my services
:14:18. > :14:21.to blow the whistle on what had been happening because
:14:22. > :14:25.I genuinely think they did not want someone to do that.
:14:26. > :14:27.Stevens is a self-confessed cheat and without
:14:28. > :14:30.corroboration, his evidence will be treated with caution but many
:14:31. > :14:33.believe that if sport is to get any cleaner, the treatment of
:14:34. > :14:39.whistle-blowers like him can and must improve.
