:01:14. > :01:15.than 2.5 hours, everything seemed fine.
:01:16. > :01:17.The pilot chatted to Greek air traffic controllers.
:01:18. > :01:20.But when they tried calling him again 40 minutes later,
:01:21. > :01:23.The signal is lost and the plane swerves sharply.
:01:24. > :01:26.90 degrees left, then a complete circle to the right, before dropping
:01:27. > :01:32.More details are emerging about those final minutes.
:01:33. > :01:34.The jet's in-flight systems sent a string of error messages
:01:35. > :01:43.The first are warnings about a cockpit window,
:01:44. > :01:46.but then smoke is detected in a toilet and in a bay full
:01:47. > :01:49.They are amongst the last to be transmitted.
:01:50. > :01:51.Of the seven messages that were sent, two of them
:01:52. > :01:54.were about the flight control computer system, two of them
:01:55. > :01:57.about a possible fire, three of them to do with window sensors.
:01:58. > :01:59.And you can construct all kinds of scenarios that
:02:00. > :02:04.But at the moment, like so much around MS804,
:02:05. > :02:11.Slowly, faces are being put to the names of those lost.
:02:12. > :02:14.The pilots and half the passengers were Egyptian.
:02:15. > :02:16.Among the others, 15 French people, two Canadians, others from Algeria
:02:17. > :02:23.What no-one yet knows is why they died.
:02:24. > :02:26.Until the plane's voice and data recorders are covered,
:02:27. > :02:28.that question is likely to remain unanswered.

:02:43. > :03:03.might be? No, that is right. This is the most
:03:04. > :03:05.significant information we have had so far, confirmation from the
:03:06. > :03:07.in-flight systems that smoke was detected in several parts of the
:03:08. > :03:10.aircraft. It would suggest a fire but we don't know if it was started
:03:11. > :03:12.deliberately or by technical failure on board. The wait goes on for the
:03:13. > :03:14.relatives of the passengers of flight MS804, about 100 or so.
:03:15. > :03:17.Relatives of the 15 French people who were on board met a couple of
:03:18. > :03:20.hours ago with the French foreign minister here in Paris who described
:03:21. > :03:24.it as an intense meeting and expressed his sympathy for those
:03:25. > :03:27.people, promising any information he could soon as he was able to.
:03:28. > :03:30.Meanwhile pictures have been published as you saw there from the
:03:31. > :03:35.Egyptian defence Ministry. They clearly show parts of the plane all
:03:36. > :03:39.but destroyed, whether that happened midair or on impact with the ocean
:03:40. > :03:42.we don't know. Until the black box recorders are discovered, we won't
:03:43. > :03:44.know exactly what happened to the flight and what caused it to crash
