:00:07. > :00:09.A race against time in Colombia as rescuers search for survivors

:00:10. > :00:16.At least 200 people have been killed after a torrent of mud and debris

:00:17. > :00:21.engulfed the town of Mocoa in the Amazon basin.

:00:22. > :00:24.The Prime Minister tries to reassure the people of Gibraltar saying

:00:25. > :00:26.Britain will work with the territory to get the best

:00:27. > :00:32.A teenage asylum seeker remains seriously ill in hospital

:00:33. > :00:35.after being attacked by a group of people at a bus

:00:36. > :01:02.And Celtic celebrate a sixth successive Scottish league title.

:01:03. > :01:06.Rescue teams in Colombia are continuing to search

:01:07. > :01:09.through tonnes of mud and debris for anyone who survived devastating

:01:10. > :01:16.At least 200 people have been killed but with hundreds

:01:17. > :01:18.of others injured or missing, the Colombian president

:01:19. > :01:21.says its impossible to know what the eventual death

:01:22. > :01:26.The torrent of mud engulfed the town of Mocoa,

:01:27. > :01:28.where rescue efforts are being hampered by bad weather.

:01:29. > :01:42.Mocoa is a place of mud and misery. When the rolling war of water and

:01:43. > :01:47.debris rushed through here on Friday night it swept away houses, cars,

:01:48. > :01:55.trees and people. Whole families did here.

:01:56. > :02:01.The painstaking search for survivors is continuing, rescue workers moving

:02:02. > :02:06.quietly through flattened neighbourhoods hoping for signs of

:02:07. > :02:12.life in the wreckage. Nothing here. With every hour that passes hopes of

:02:13. > :02:17.finding more people alive diminish. Within hours of the deluge message

:02:18. > :02:25.boards went up listing the dead and missing. Many of those unaccounted

:02:26. > :02:32.for our children. We are searching for a baby she says, a little baby,

:02:33. > :02:36.we cannot find them anywhere. This man has lost his daughter. I hope

:02:37. > :02:42.somebody has her he says, she's called Luisa. Closest to the river

:02:43. > :02:45.the streets are narrow fields of boulders, full of people trying to

:02:46. > :02:53.retrieve what they can of their lives. The shock of this disaster is

:02:54. > :02:58.still sinking in. The rains that caused this flood were unusually

:02:59. > :03:05.heavy but deforestation upstream played a part as well. This tone of

:03:06. > :03:09.40,000 people is still without power or freshwater, the homeless need

:03:10. > :03:14.housing, the infrastructure needs to be restored and the wreckage

:03:15. > :03:19.cleared. Deep in the Amazon basin, Mocoa was hard to reach before. Now

:03:20. > :03:24.with roads and bridges washed away the challenge is even greater.

:03:25. > :03:27.The Prime Minister has told the people of Gibraltar that the UK

:03:28. > :03:29.would "never" allow it to slip from British control

:03:30. > :03:32.In a telephone call aimed at reassuring Gibraltar

:03:33. > :03:35.about its future after Brexit, Theresa May said Britain

:03:36. > :03:44.Here's our political correspondent Iain Watson.

:03:45. > :03:52.Legend has it to win the Barbary apes leave Gibraltar the British

:03:53. > :03:56.would be far behind. Well they are still here, but the 30,000 human

:03:57. > :04:01.residents who want to remain British are worried the Spanish government

:04:02. > :04:05.could soon have more say over their lives. The EU has said Abdur Brexit

:04:06. > :04:10.London will have to talk directly to Spain about the territory 's future.

:04:11. > :04:14.A former Conservative leader said the UK commitment to Gibraltar would

:04:15. > :04:18.be no different than its commitment to the Falklands. Another woman

:04:19. > :04:24.Prime Minister sent a task force halfway across the world to protect

:04:25. > :04:28.another small group of British people against another

:04:29. > :04:31.Spanish-speaking country. But don't panic, four days after triggering

:04:32. > :04:39.the Brexit process there is not serious talk of conflict. Spain is

:04:40. > :04:43.more interested in talking about trade than territory perhaps raising

:04:44. > :04:48.questions about Gibraltar 's low tax regime and its policing of

:04:49. > :04:51.cross-border contraband. We have been told Gibraltar did ask Downing

:04:52. > :04:54.Street specifically to mention its interests in the letter the Prime

:04:55. > :05:00.Minister sent to the European Union to trigger the Brexit process. Of

:05:01. > :05:04.course we know that did not happen, but today Theresa May got on the

:05:05. > :05:07.telephone to the most senior politician in Gibraltar and pledged

:05:08. > :05:13.her most steadfast support not just for its sovereignty but its economy.

:05:14. > :05:16.And the Chief Minister of Gibraltar seemed reassured. When the time

:05:17. > :05:19.comes we are making the right decisions with the Prime Minister

:05:20. > :05:24.leading us in those negotiations which will be in the interests of

:05:25. > :05:30.the people of Gibraltar and the pursuit of their wishes. But Labour

:05:31. > :05:35.say the process still causes an economic problem for Gibraltar. How

:05:36. > :05:38.will the deal affect the Gibraltar economy? To what extent will they

:05:39. > :05:43.have access to the single market and Customs union because their economy

:05:44. > :05:47.could be strangled if the negotiations go wrong. This is just

:05:48. > :05:53.the start of the process of leaving the European Union. Downing Street

:05:54. > :05:56.has moved to -- did use any row with Gibraltar but difficult negotiations

:05:57. > :05:59.with the European Union and Spain still lie ahead.

:06:00. > :06:04.Our correspondent Tom Burridge joins us from Gibraltar

:06:05. > :06:11.How are people feeling after two days of this debate? People are

:06:12. > :06:15.worried here in Gibraltar. I don't think Brexit really impact the

:06:16. > :06:19.debate over Gibraltar in sovereignty, Britain and Spain will

:06:20. > :06:23.never agree that probably. But by saying Spain can decide whether a

:06:24. > :06:29.trade deal between Britain and the EU can apply to Gibraltar, the EU is

:06:30. > :06:31.saying Gibraltar, the way of life here, the close relationship,

:06:32. > :06:37.distinctive relationship the territory has enjoyed with the EU up

:06:38. > :06:44.until now it is up for grabs. The economy here relies on low taxes and

:06:45. > :06:48.the normally free-flowing border behind me. The threats coming from

:06:49. > :06:52.Madrid are nothing new for people here in Gibraltar but if Spain

:06:53. > :06:56.really does get that leveraged in the wider Brexit talks it makes the

:06:57. > :07:01.negotiation between Brussels and London even harder. Thank you.

:07:02. > :07:03.Four men and two women have been arrested on suspicion

:07:04. > :07:05.of attempted murder, following an attack on an asylum

:07:06. > :07:08.seeker at a bus stop in south London on Friday night.

:07:09. > :07:10.The 17-year-old, who's Kurdish Iranian, was subjected

:07:11. > :07:14.to what detectives say was a 'savage' beating.

:07:15. > :07:23.Simon Jones is at the scene for us in Croydon now.

:07:24. > :07:28.Tonight six people are being questioned and remain in police

:07:29. > :07:31.custody, officers say the 17-year-old was at this bus stop

:07:32. > :07:35.late on Friday when he was approached by a group of around

:07:36. > :07:39.eight people. They asked him where he was from, he said he was an

:07:40. > :07:43.asylum seeker and at that point the attack began.

:07:44. > :07:49.The 17-year-old, a Kurdish Iranian, was chased from this bus stop down

:07:50. > :07:52.the road. When he fell to the ground police say he suffered repeated

:07:53. > :07:58.blows to the head. He was left with a fractured skull and the blood

:07:59. > :08:03.caught on the brain. This man heard the screams. Normally Friday night

:08:04. > :08:10.people are always making noise but something sounded funny. Looking out

:08:11. > :08:15.the window, a group of people beating one person. Some people

:08:16. > :08:19.tried to intervene, others dial 999. The police are treating the attack

:08:20. > :08:25.as a hate crime. The local MP who is also the housing minister told me he

:08:26. > :08:29.was appalled. I described him on Twitter as scum and I think this is

:08:30. > :08:32.a cowardly and despicable attack and I hope we find the people

:08:33. > :08:37.responsible and we face the full force of the justice system. Fleece

:08:38. > :08:42.are trying to reassure people this is not typical of the area but it's

:08:43. > :08:46.a community in shock. It is appalling really. You expect people

:08:47. > :08:54.to appreciate one another. This is a diverse society. It was a shock, I

:08:55. > :09:00.have two daughters and a boy and my wife. It's not good, it's not safe.

:09:01. > :09:05.Tonight one response to what police have condemned as a savage attack.

:09:06. > :09:11.The 17-year-old remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

:09:12. > :09:15.Neighbours say around 20 onlookers were watching the attack, the police

:09:16. > :09:18.are calling on them to do the right thing and come forward.

:09:19. > :09:21.A university student has paid tribute to her mother and younger

:09:22. > :09:24.brother who were stabbed to death in their home in the West

:09:25. > :09:27.Lydia Wilkinson laid flowers outside the house in Stourbridge.

:09:28. > :09:29.She said her mother Tracey had always put others first.

:09:30. > :09:33.23-year-old Aaron Barley - of no fixed address -

:09:34. > :09:36.has been charged with the murders and with the attempted murder

:09:37. > :09:41.He is known to the family and will appear in court

:09:42. > :09:46.The BBC has seen an internal Lloyds Banking Group report

:09:47. > :09:49.which calls into question the bank's assertion that it only learnt

:09:50. > :09:52.of a fraud by some of its bankers and their consultants in 2016.

:09:53. > :09:55.The report reveals that senior executives discussed fraudulent

:09:56. > :09:57.behaviour at an HBOS subsidiary as long ago as 2008.

:09:58. > :10:10.Our economics correspondent Andy Verity reports.

:10:11. > :10:16.In the HBOS fraud consultants branded greedy and devious bribe

:10:17. > :10:19.dishonest bankers. In exchange the bank for small business customers to

:10:20. > :10:23.pay for the consultants who plundered the businesses to buy

:10:24. > :10:28.holidays, foreign property and yachts. In February they were jailed

:10:29. > :10:31.for corruption, fraud and money-laundering. This man who ran a

:10:32. > :10:34.successful hairdressing business said the fraud drove him to

:10:35. > :10:41.bankruptcy and destroyed his marriage. Like anyone's life, got

:10:42. > :10:46.used to a standard of living and Vivian and I had built the business

:10:47. > :10:52.from our early 20s. The business was going up and up and up and then

:10:53. > :10:56.suddenly it was stolen. And crashed. Lloyds banking group recently told

:10:57. > :11:00.victims that the bank had no evidence of criminal behaviour based

:11:01. > :11:06.on its own internal reviews until the trial in 2016. But a source

:11:07. > :11:08.inside the bank leaked a major report to regulators and I have seen

:11:09. > :11:26.its conclusions. It says... Nicky Turner, another victim of the

:11:27. > :11:28.fraud first warned the bank in 2007. The bank responded by trying

:11:29. > :11:35.repeatedly to make car and her family homeless. We are not

:11:36. > :11:39.interested in recrimination, we just want victims to be compensated. At

:11:40. > :11:42.this point it has happened, the fraud happened, the cover-up

:11:43. > :11:48.happened, we are where we are, let the bank just do the right thing

:11:49. > :11:53.finally. It's so huge, it makes the great train robbery look rather

:11:54. > :11:56.small. The police and crime commission for Thames Valley Police

:11:57. > :11:59.said when the bank asked shareholders for money in 2008 they

:12:00. > :12:09.should have been warned about abroad. He wants the victims

:12:10. > :12:11.compensated. You do not leave 50-100 people who have been totally

:12:12. > :12:14.defrauded without any money and then insist over the next ten years

:12:15. > :12:17.trying to take away their houses and everything they possess, I think

:12:18. > :12:21.that totally immoral. Lloyds banking group C allegations in the report

:12:22. > :12:25.are unsubstantiated. It says once it was made aware of its existence it

:12:26. > :12:28.asked for it to be sent to the appropriate authorities.

:12:29. > :12:30.The writer, broadcaster and civil liberties campaigner Darcus Howe has

:12:31. > :12:35.Born in Trinidad, he moved to the UK to study law and campaigned

:12:36. > :12:37.for black rights for more than 50 years.

:12:38. > :12:39.In 1981, he organised the Black People's March

:12:40. > :12:41.after the New Cross fire in which 13 black teenagers died.

:12:42. > :12:44.Later he became chairman of the Notting Hill carnival -

:12:45. > :12:46.and made a number of television programmes about the lives

:12:47. > :12:55.With all the sport - here's Olly Foster at

:12:56. > :13:07.Celtic's March to the Scottish premiership title is over, 5-0 win

:13:08. > :13:10.at Hearts saw them winning the league with eight games to spare and

:13:11. > :13:12.they will look to become the first team in the history of the Scottish

:13:13. > :13:20.premiership to remain unbeaten throughout the season. Brendan

:13:21. > :13:23.Rodgers first match with Celtic was a -- at Tynecastle, a perfect venue

:13:24. > :13:29.then for the coronation. Today told the story of the season were Celtic

:13:30. > :13:34.beat everyone into submission. Scott Sinclair's thunderous effort sent

:13:35. > :13:38.them on their way. That is just wonderful. Just three minutes later

:13:39. > :13:42.a devastating break provided Sinclair his second. A party was

:13:43. > :13:48.breaking out and Stewart Armstrong brought the bubbly with his fizzing

:13:49. > :13:51.right foot. They have got the title willing feeling again. For Celtic

:13:52. > :13:55.it's not just about winning, it's about how they win and they were

:13:56. > :14:02.going for it. With a little help from Hearts. Scott Sinclair on a

:14:03. > :14:07.hat-trick, you know the rest. His 21st of the season sealed a 5-star

:14:08. > :14:14.performance. When you support a team like this as a boy and now the great

:14:15. > :14:17.history of the club, I was happy to take on the responsibility to make

:14:18. > :14:22.the supporters dream, to make them happy and hopefully we have done

:14:23. > :14:24.that. In England he came close to league victory and he has finally

:14:25. > :14:30.tasted it here with eight games to spare. Still unbeaten now, his all

:14:31. > :14:39.singing all dancing Celtic reign supreme. Two games in the Premier

:14:40. > :14:42.League, Arsenal still sixth Manchester City fourth after a 2-2

:14:43. > :14:47.draw at the Emirates, and Chester city twice took the lead through

:14:48. > :14:56.Leroy Sani and Sergio Aguero, Theo Walcott and Mustafi scored for the

:14:57. > :15:00.gunners -- Leroy Sane. The match between Swansea and Middlesbrough

:15:01. > :15:03.was goalless. Tens of thousands of spectators lined the Thames today

:15:04. > :15:07.for the boat race, the Oxford men victorious to make up for their

:15:08. > :15:12.women's group who handed Cambridge victory from the start of the race.

:15:13. > :15:19.Let's talk to our reporter out on the course, dramatic racing, also

:15:20. > :15:22.dramatic start to the day? Yes, I am sure the race organisers had a

:15:23. > :15:26.sleepless night and emergency services worked overnight to remove

:15:27. > :15:31.a World War II unexploded bomb which had washed up on the shore a little

:15:32. > :15:36.bit behind me. It was removed, the race was given the go-ahead at 1pm

:15:37. > :15:41.and it was the women's race up fast and it was over before it began. One

:15:42. > :15:50.of the Oxford crew got there or stuck in the water, they lost their

:15:51. > :15:53.momentum, the Cambridge boat capitalised and crossed the finish

:15:54. > :15:58.line victorious in a new course record. The men's race followed and

:15:59. > :16:02.was much more of a battle but the Oxford team managed to pull away in

:16:03. > :16:07.the latter stages of the race. They beat Cambridge who they lost to last

:16:08. > :16:15.year and made it one win for both teams this year. Thank you. Saracens

:16:16. > :16:19.will be the only British cup in the European Champions Cup semifinals.

:16:20. > :16:24.They were too strong for Glasgow Warriors, Krish Aston scored two of

:16:25. > :16:29.their four tries, 38-13 the final score. They will face Munster next,

:16:30. > :16:31.Leinster will play Clermont in the other semifinal.

:16:32. > :16:34.There's more throughout the evening on the BBC News Channel,

:16:35. > :16:36.we are back with the late News at Ten - now on BBC One its time
