:00:21. > :00:26.Downing Street is to hold a session of its emergency committee, COBRA,

:00:27. > :00:30.in response to the global cyber attack which has disabled NHS

:00:31. > :00:34.The Home Secretary Amber Rudd said 45 organisations

:00:35. > :00:40.It's not yet clear the extent to which patient safety has

:00:41. > :00:45.agency, Europol, described the cyber attack -

:00:46. > :00:47.which has struck in about 100 countries -

:00:48. > :01:02.A major incident cleared at this hospital to ensure patient safety.

:01:03. > :01:06.Saint Bartholomew is is part of the largest NHS Trust in England. Some

:01:07. > :01:10.ambulances are being diverted to neighbouring hospitals and there

:01:11. > :01:19.will be no outpatient treatment today. I was worried. The computers

:01:20. > :01:25.being down and somebody asking for money, I've got to stay in here and

:01:26. > :01:28.it was a bit frustrating. It is after this message came up on

:01:29. > :01:37.countless computers across the NHS demanding an -- a ransom to access

:01:38. > :01:42.files. They had a severe tummy pain for ten days, the patient I saw, we

:01:43. > :01:46.needed to find out why he was in pain, we could not find out because

:01:47. > :01:51.we could not get the blood results. It is part of a global situation,

:01:52. > :01:57.cyber attacks are at an unprecedented level according to the

:01:58. > :02:02.EU's law-enforcement agency. Organisations in 100 countries have

:02:03. > :02:12.been hit. 45 NHS organisations have been affected including 11 of

:02:13. > :02:19.Scotland's health boards. There is a great deal of work ongoing to get

:02:20. > :02:24.the system back to normal. Everything is being done to ensure

:02:25. > :02:29.it is kept to an absolute minimum disruption. The system locks

:02:30. > :02:34.computers before demanding money. The NHS is particularly vulnerable

:02:35. > :02:40.because of the ageing IT systems. They have been asked to move from

:02:41. > :02:46.Windows XP. People don't always move as quickly as you would like. There

:02:47. > :02:53.will be lessons to be learned from this example. Experts say it is

:02:54. > :02:57.vital technology is up-to-date. This is like making sure that you lock

:02:58. > :03:01.the doors and windows before you go to bed. It won't stop the burglars,

:03:02. > :03:06.necessarily, but will keep most of them out. The government does not

:03:07. > :03:09.believe patient data has been stolen, there will be a meeting of

:03:10. > :03:14.the emergency committee this afternoon.

:03:15. > :03:17.The former Labour Prime Minister Gordon Brown is calling on voters

:03:18. > :03:19.to elect Labour candidates that will hold Theresa May to account -

:03:20. > :03:24.His comments follow a warning - from Labour's Deputy

:03:25. > :03:26.Leader Tom Watson - that the Conservatives would win

:03:27. > :03:30.a 'Margaret Thatcher style landslide'

:03:31. > :03:37.Our Political Correspondent Leila Nathoo joins me.

:03:38. > :03:44.What is surprising is he is not suggesting it for a Labour

:03:45. > :03:49.government but for a different cause. This is Gordon Brown's second

:03:50. > :03:53.intervention. He delivered a speech with much the same message saying

:03:54. > :03:57.that the May is asking for a blank cheque from voters and he says they

:03:58. > :04:04.need to back Labour to speak up for things like the NHS, social justice,

:04:05. > :04:07.better education. He did not mention anything about a future Labour

:04:08. > :04:18.government. The references were to the ones in the past. Labour's

:04:19. > :04:31.deputy leader has given an interview to the Guardian. He said if there is

:04:32. > :04:38.no dent in the Tory lead then Theresa May could be on for a

:04:39. > :04:47.majority of more than 100 MPs. Tom Watson says there are exciting

:04:48. > :04:52.ideas. There is an undertone that we will be in opposition but we should

:04:53. > :04:58.make it a strong opposition. Jeremy Corbyn says it is not a foregone

:04:59. > :05:01.conclusion but there are different ones from other MPs.

:05:02. > :05:04.Meanwhile the Conservatives say they want to give people the power

:05:05. > :05:06.to demand social media companies delete any embarrassing content,

:05:07. > :05:09.But critics have questioned whether the legislation

:05:10. > :05:11.is enforceable, since many of the big social media

:05:12. > :05:19.Other news, over three million customers in south-east England have

:05:20. > :05:22.been told to save water because of a lack of rainfall.

:05:23. > :05:24.The company which supplies parts of the home counties,

:05:25. > :05:27.north London, and Kent, say many rivers in the region

:05:28. > :05:30.Using the shower rather than the bath - and stopping

:05:31. > :05:36.the use of garden sprinklers - are among ideas being suggested.

:05:37. > :05:38.The Eurovision Song Contest final is being held in Ukraine this

:05:39. > :05:41.evening, with Italy's entry, an act involving a man

:05:42. > :05:45.dressed as a gorilla, the strong favourite to win.

:05:46. > :05:47.Lucie Jones will be representing the UK, performing her ballad

:05:48. > :05:52.Our Moscow Correspondent, Steve Rosenberg, is in Kiev,

:05:53. > :06:01.and has been to meet some of the contestants.

:06:02. > :06:07.It's Eurovision 2017, and it's all rather confusing.

:06:08. > :06:15.The audience is not understanding it.

:06:16. > :06:17.I am leaving the whole meaning to them.

:06:18. > :06:23.And what is going on with one of the favourites,

:06:24. > :06:34."The monkey," Francesco Gabbani tells me, "is a symbol that

:06:35. > :06:39.at the end of the day we are all naked apes."

:06:40. > :06:40.Among the frontrunners are Bulgaria and

:06:41. > :06:51.You know, there was a time when the UK was always a contender

:06:52. > :06:55.We always seemed to be in with a shot at the top spot.

:06:56. > :06:57.More recently we have been propping up

:06:58. > :07:04.But could this be the year that Britain is back?

:07:05. > :07:06.At rehearsals, Lucie Jones has been impressing

:07:07. > :07:12.everybody with her power ballad, Never Give Up On You.

:07:13. > :07:14.I am hoping that I will go home with the respect

:07:15. > :07:19.of the nation that watched the show at home.

:07:20. > :07:23.If the UK wants success in Eurovision, this could be

:07:24. > :07:42.No to a man who needs no costume, Mike Bushell at the sports centre.

:07:43. > :07:45.Plenty of make up under the eyes. While Chelsea have already claimed

:07:46. > :07:47.the Premier League title after beating West Bromwich Albion

:07:48. > :07:50.last night, the race is still on to qualify

:07:51. > :07:51.for the Champions League. Manchester City can move up

:07:52. > :07:55.to third, if they can get at least They're hoping for three points,

:07:56. > :08:02.though, after David Silva put them ahead just before

:08:03. > :08:04.the half hour mark. Leicester were incensed though,

:08:05. > :08:06.feeling Raheem Sterling was in an offside position

:08:07. > :08:09.and interfering with play. Jesus has just made it 2-0 from the

:08:10. > :08:13.penalty spot. In the Scottish Premiership,

:08:14. > :08:16.Rangers need a point against Hearts to clinch third place

:08:17. > :08:18.and they're 1-0 up, thanks Hearts are down to ten men,

:08:19. > :08:22.after Prince Buaben was sent off Manchester City manager

:08:23. > :08:26.Pep Guardiola used today's programme notes to wish the club's women's

:08:27. > :08:28.team good luck in They're up against Birmingham City

:08:29. > :08:31.Ladies and it's live City are aiming for

:08:32. > :08:46.a domestic treble. You dream of playing in Wembley. You

:08:47. > :08:49.dream of captaining your side. Ever since I've join this club it has

:08:50. > :08:53.been about trying to win the FA Cup and we are one step closer to doing

:08:54. > :08:59.that. Definitely up there with the stuff I've achieved so far. It is

:09:00. > :09:03.exciting for us. This is the third year it has been at Wembley. We want

:09:04. > :09:07.to put on a great performance. We are not just going there to be

:09:08. > :09:11.another team in the FA Cup final. We want to win. We want to showcase

:09:12. > :09:15.what we are about as a team. We are a footballing team. We show grit and

:09:16. > :09:16.determination as well. We cannot wait.

:09:17. > :09:18.Jonny Brownlee's return to the World Triathlon Series

:09:19. > :09:20.was almost as dramatic as his collapse at

:09:21. > :09:23.In treacherous conditions in Yokohama, Japan,

:09:24. > :09:27.he was caught up in a crash, on the last lap of the bike leg

:09:28. > :09:29.and sent flying over the railings, but he carried his damaged bike

:09:30. > :09:32.to the transition point to get his running shoes on

:09:33. > :09:35.before eventually finishing down in 42nd place,

:09:36. > :09:41.You can see highlights tomorrow at one o'clock on BBC Two.

:09:42. > :09:44.In rugby union, Saracens are looking to retain their Champions Cup

:09:45. > :09:50.They take on Clermont Auvergne in the final at Murrayfield.

:09:51. > :09:52.Not only that, they're hoping to complete a double double,

:09:53. > :10:12.Hats off to Saracens, champions of England. European champions. They

:10:13. > :10:22.produced a magnificent performance. They thrive on being different. It

:10:23. > :10:28.has helped make them the most successful trophy hunters. You look

:10:29. > :10:33.forward to semifinals and finals. You have that connection together

:10:34. > :10:38.that will get you through. Ashton has experience of such moments. His

:10:39. > :10:42.England days are now over but he is one swan dive away from being the

:10:43. > :10:55.record try scorer. Last year nobody got over the line in the final but

:10:56. > :10:58.this was Farrell's final. Metronomic yet magic, Man of the Match at the

:10:59. > :11:02.last final and back to dominate this one. He and his team became

:11:03. > :11:08.Premiership champions after that but now the double could be doubled.

:11:09. > :11:16.Such speculation is banned. We need to make sure we get to a place where
