:00:51. > :01:01.In the Midsummer heat, Grenfell Tower casts a long shadow. A new
:01:02. > :01:07.dark reality on the London skyline, with the power to shock, and to
:01:08. > :01:16.move. A site which stops you in your tracks. Too much to take in. Is hard
:01:17. > :01:21.to know what to say, yeah. It's just horrific. Everyone's busy talking,
:01:22. > :01:26.yet you can just feel a silence. It's really overwhelming. Four days
:01:27. > :01:35.on from the disaster, and with every official update, more grim news.
:01:36. > :01:40.Sadly at this time there are 58 people who we were told... We have
:01:41. > :01:46.been told were in Grenfell Tower on the night that are missing and
:01:47. > :01:52.therefore sadly I have to assure them that they are dead. The
:01:53. > :01:57.investigations into how this happened will be complex and
:01:58. > :02:00.lengthy, but the residents' Association for Grenfell Tower and
:02:01. > :02:04.the surrounding blocks is already calling for the Council and its
:02:05. > :02:08.management agency to be suspended from their landlords'

:02:14. > :02:17.the tragedy, neglected since, with no access to basic information.
:02:18. > :02:22.Where is everyone? What are they getting next, where will they move,
:02:23. > :02:27.what do they need? Who needs what and where? Fundamental questions and
:02:28. > :02:32.we are days after this disaster. I have done the angry. I just have to
:02:33. > :02:35.get this done. Today the residents brought those frustrations to
:02:36. > :02:39.Downing Street, asking for more help on the ground. And there have been
:02:40. > :02:45.reassurances from ministers. There is now from today on the ground a
:02:46. > :02:50.central operation precisely to answer all those, you know,
:02:51. > :02:55.perfectly reasonable questions people have in these desperate

:03:01. > :03:04.official help has been hard to find. What we are seeing here is an aid
:03:05. > :03:08.effort run by local people. We are told there will be a more official
:03:09. > :03:12.response to what has happened, but on the ground there is very little
:03:13. > :03:17.evidence of that. Amanda, you are doing all you can. Have you seen any
:03:18. > :03:21.Government people, local council people? No, I haven't. I haven't

:03:52. > :03:53.cooks, BBC News, North Kensington. What more have we learned
:03:54. > :04:07.from the police this afternoon, Ben? Well, they told us 16 bodies have
:04:08. > :04:11.been recovered so far from the block, but clearly there are many
:04:12. > :04:15.more inside, and they are seeing how difficult and dangerous the work is

:04:20. > :04:22.stopped that work yesterday afternoon it was so dangerous and
:04:23. > :04:25.could only resume it at lunchtime today. They are saying that whole
